So I emailed customer service because I had bought a three month membership but didn't want to get billed a second time (I only want this to be a one time deal), I specifically wrote: "Hello,

I just bought a 3-month membership (7/12/2014) as a gift to myself, but I want this to be a one time thing where I don't get billed again at the end of my three months. If you could turn off the recurring part of my membership it would be much appreciated! "

The reply came in today with this:

"In order to cancel your School of Dragons account properly, we need the Username you use to log into the account. Once you reply with the correct Username, we can locate and cancel your account immediately. Please reply with this information so that we can fulfill your request. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Customer Support at 310-533-3402 or send an email to support@jumpstart.com and we'll be happy to assist you further with anything you need. Thank you!"

I'm not sure if he did not understand my request or if I'm just reading this wrong, because to me it looks like he is talking about canceling my WHOLE account which is NOT what I want? Any help or insight would be awesome!

What you received is a robot send response that we all get when canceling the membership.

And I'll have to disappoint you... you can't achieve what you want. The JumpStart doesn't work like that..

Just wait 'till your membership is about to end. In a few days before that, send the canceling email with your account details and they will cancel it like that. No other ways around it, sorry:)

Oh, and no, they won't delete your account! And all the stuff like Toothless and stable won't go away. You'll just loose your 20% off in store and stuff like that ^_^

Hey WolfMunster! Can you privately message us your Customer Support ticket number and email address so that we can follow up with this? We want to make sure that they don't cancel your account.
