I'm so excited about this piece tbh...
(I do base colour early. It helps me catch mistakes. It's generally messy and not finalized base colour. My sketch is never finalized at this point).
Looks great so far! Can't wait to see what the finished piece looks like!

Whew! I haven't opened GIMP in a while! Now that I have a drawing tablet I can complete this drawing. But man, even with a drawing tablet, this is annoying.
I'm attempting realism on digital art. Drawing every single strand of fur on a large mythical mammal. Someone tell me if I'm overdoing it already.
tracking will put mine when i can and i have many WIPs because of how i'm doing edits now instead of drawing

My siggy has zero art or edits that i made it's only deviantart that has them and my siggy is being redecorated to be less busy
This is a headshot practice of my favorite OC Shadow Storm also known as Liza in her other form i'm currently coloring her body black and adding some background but the background is the hard part
Wait, sure what? What do you mean with not having images in your signature? They're right there! The 8k+ ultra-HD (why tho) images lag up my tab. I wish I could block the entire thing.
I even asked in the OP if people could pay attention to.... oh well. /exasperated sigh. I suppose page 2 will become a no-go page then.

Oh...and I had a lighting question. With fire an all, would there be little gold highlights or something like that on the scales? Like, not super exaggerated but not bland either...If you get what I mean? :'D

WIP Thread, huh? Sounds like a place for me to be lazy and reflect on my art and style lmao
poor thing is in need of a body... and limbs... mhm *cough cough*
I got a power failure when I was continuing my Night Light drawing and so I got lazy to continue it so I decided to create the cover of my fanfiction!
The title is Call of Elements, which is a story going on in the Mario universe. (I'm a Nintendo nerd) And the main character is Tempête. She has a brother but he'll be absent for most of the story since something happened to him. (No spoiler)

I adjusted the Paratroopa to the right since it was looking way too much on the left.

Here's a new W.I.P. Went with the Star Wars idea at the top (first order era). It's Kylo Ren and my OC Ross walking through a forest searching for a rumored hidden jedi cult group.
Colouring the trunks deletes possible self-confusion as i work on the piece. Colouring the figures makes it easier to see them. Changing the background to grey was something i forgot to do ahead of time. With all that colouring, it makes sense that the grass had to be coloured
In turn of the recent Flightmare news, I've been practicing these flight-bois so I can mini-protest.
Once finished, this will be Paris, my proudly pink Flightmare.

Here is one of my WIP drawings my drawings looks like a 8 year old drew it so I traced dart.
My only complaint is these pieces with backgrounds generally take me the longest.
Ignore the bottom right writing. I've started writing down needed fixes. I mostly guessed this perspective and asked a friend for some CC, and eyeballed/adapted stuff like viking house, the nadder, etc.
AAA I fixed the person. She doesn't look as weird :3

I didn't think I'd have something to post here because I'm not actually an artist.
But. I attempted to draw a bionicle. (It's something from a lego franchise. In this case it's a fan character from a canon species but I won't bore you with the details)
I got this far and then my brain p.ooped out.

But love the mechanics you put on it. Those gears, them hinges, dem pistons, those nuts and bolts put in where there is no large solid hunks of metal —I can draw complex, or anatomically possible and impossible non-existent organisms, yet I have a hard time drawing simple mechanics.
