Who's ready for Avengers 4 Read at your own risk(SPOILERZ WILL OCCUR HERE)
Hey, hey, hey fellow forumers! I made this thread so all the Marvel fans among you can come together and scream and theorize about Avengers: Endgame. For anyone who didn't thoroughly read the title: THIS IS A SPOILER ZONE! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED OF ANYTHING, DO NOT READ THIS THREAD! Ahem, now that that's out of the way, we can get to the meat and potatoes of this. I will be theorizing and hyping about the trailers. Once the movie comes out this will turn into a discussion thread. So, spoilers all the time. Speaking of which, if you have watched Captain Marvel and believe she will be an asset in Endgame, let us know. I haven't watched it and never will and I don't mind SPOILERS for it. Seriously, this will be (hopefully) a spoiler filled thread, so read at your own risk.
Alright, that^ is your last warning. If someone complains about having something be spoiled, it's your own fault.
Now that that's out of the way, lets get into the theories, shall we?

Tony's vision from AoU comes true
And then he dies bringing back the dusted people
Seen Captain Marvel last week. Despite the massive amount of criticism it received from audiences, I honestly enjoyed it a whole lot. Not the best Marvel movie by any means, but far from the worst.
And yeah, she's definitely gonna be a huge help in Endgame. She destroyed a spaceship the size of Titanic (scratch that, it was bigger) in about 10 seconds without really breaking a sweat and proceeded to scare off the remaining fleet just by looking at them. Not sure if she's stronger than Thor, but she's up there.
I totally agree! There were multiple funny scenes, it explained a lot of things, lovely characters. Not my favourite Marvel movie, but a MILLION times better than The Incredible Hulk.

Theory #1:
Why has hawkeye changed to the character of Ronin?
I think something must've happened to his family. During the time when half the universe's population disappeared, I think his wife and kids must have been killed in that period of time. Because of his family's possible demise, Clint would be ready to destroy with a vengence and turned into a mysterious vigilante.
Theory #2:
What significance will Tony play in this movie?
Whatever it is, I think it's a big one. If you recall, in Avengers: Infinity War, Doc Strange said that if it came between Tony, the kid(spider man), and the time stone, he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice them if it meant protecting the stone (paraphrasing, I don't remember the exact quote). However, when Strange searches for possible futures where they win, there is only one. Also, when Thanos was going to kill Tony, what does Strange do? He gives the time stone to him to spare Tony's life. This could mean one of two (or both) things. One, Thanos mut have all six stones in order for the Avengers to be able to defeat them. Two (and the more likely one), Tony has to be alive when they beat Thanos. I think Tony will play a huge role in defeating Thanos.
Theory #3:
What exactly happened to the people who got wiped out?
Ok, this one's a little out there but hear me out. I think they got trapped in the soul stone. Remember, we saw young Gamora in that orange environment ony after she was killed by Thanos. I think that everyone who was killed by The Snap is now trapped in there.
Theory #4:
How did Ant-Man escape from the quantum realm?
If you remember, at the end credit scene after Ant-Man and the Wasp, Hope, Hank, and Janet were killed by the Snap, with Scott still in the quantum realm. So how did Scott get out and appear at the Avenger's doorstep as shown in the Endgame trailer? Honestly, I don't know XD. I guess maybe he got his regulator thing to work and he was able to escape. This one's open to mega-debate XD
Theory #5:
What sort of craziness could they pull in this movie?
Well, we all know, a lot could happen in this movie. However, there are a few things that caught my eye. Such as these "leaked" set photos:
Ok, let's break this down :) So, these pictures suggest something very interesting: possible time travel. In the right one, Thor still has long hair and Tony is wearing the same Black Sabbath shirt he wore in The Avengers. In the bottom left pic, Loki has the "chain" thingie around has face to prevent him from talking. He wore this at the end of The Avengers. The top left picture is the most intriguing picture of the three in my opinion. We see Captain America, in the same suit he wore in The Avengers. We also see Bruce off to the right. But here's the catch, what in the world is Scott Lang doing there? Also, who's the guy with the mohawk and the S.H.I.E.L.D jacket? This could indicate at least a few of the Avengers went back in time to the time of Loki's invasion for some reason.
Theory #6
Who saves Tony and how did he get stuck in the drifting space ship in the first place?
At the End of Infinity War, Tony, Nebula, and Quill are still on Titan,so how did they get on a spaceship to go drift around in deep space? Answer is, I don't know XD If you guys want to theorize on this, go ahead.
I could be wrong (as with all these theories XD). So, if you have ones to add, debate against mine, or just track, feel free to.

New trailer starts with hawkeye with his young daughter. Old haircut, picnic in the background (house arrest activitys?) this is how endgame will start. Pre snap as hawkeye is with his daughter the snap will happen. His wife, son and daughter will dust away thus leading to him becoming a darker version of himself as seen later in the trailer.
Thanks for that clarification. :) I haven't been able to watch the new trailer yet soo yeah.. XD but I was right in my theory, lol! It's so sad because Hawkeye's one of my favorite characters. :'(

Thanks for the update on Captain Marvel, that does seem interesting that she destroyed a giant spaceship like that. I just hope they don't make her super op just to prove the point of "strong female characters" I mean, I have nothing against them (I'm a girl myself anyways lol) but when they exaggerate them soley for that reason, it kinda ticks me off a little bit.
About Tony's Age of Ultron vision, I think it could go a few different ways. Scarlet Witch made him have that "vision" right? So, it could be a foreshadowing of the future, which I would love because foreshadowing is awesome. If it was foreshadowing, than this movie is going to be on a crazy level of sadness. It probably will be anyway, but I don't want everyone to die. Or, it could have been more of a worst nightmares sort of thing, to make Tony unfocused.
I'm here again. (I hope this doesn't become a sad thread of me posting theories and stuff and no one responds XD)
This next thing isn't exactly a theory, but it's pretty darn cool. It's an official Avengers: Endgame poster :D
Here's something I want to point out though. Why does Tony have such a large picture. Cap and Thor also have larger pictures than the others. Does this mean something significant or am I just being paranoid? XD Also, what in the world did they do to Natasha's hair!? It was bleached? in Infinity War, and now it's red again? I think I'm just way too tired right now XD
My theory: I will have a grusome death if Tony dies

Tony isn't my top favorite character, but it would still be sad. I just hope it's not a huge slaughter of all the characters...
I have a few theories.
1: This movie will have LOADS of time-travel in it. That could be how they get the dusted half of the universe back, along with the dusted Avengers. However, I believe that some (or maybe most) of the Avengers will wind up dead by the end of the movie. Possibly to clear the stage for the next generation of heroes.
2: Antman gets out of the quantum realm using the time vortexes mentioned just before he went in.
3: Thor's hair is cut so we can distinguish his past-self from his present-self.
4: I think that Gamora's soul went into the time stone, but the dusted souls went into the quantum realm. Gamora was killed before the snap, so it makes sense that she went to the normal place for dead people. But I saw streaks of light in the quantum realm, which could be souls. Also the dusted people were killed with all of the stones, so they might not have gone to the same place.
5: I definetly believe that Hawkeye changed because of his dead family. In the trailer, the narrator mentions something like "We lost our family..." as the camera passes over changed Hawkeye.

1: Agreed. From the pictures I've seen, time travel should be in the movie. It also just makes sense that they go back in time to stop Thanos. But how do they go back??

4: This is a really interesting one you have here. It brings up a good point to: What exactly are the glowy tingies (for lack of a better word XD)? I think this theory is very interesting. I must ponder this more.
5: Yeah. It's sad. Hawkeye's one of my favorites and the scenes from AoU with him and his family were so awesome. And he probably had no clue whatsoever with the whole Thanos situation. So having his family get dusted right in front of him, harsh :'(

I realize I need to explain the time-traveling. Oops!
1: Though I have not seen her movie yet, I heard someone say it was confirmed that Captain Marvel would be able to time-travel. That's one way they could go back.
2: Another way is the quantum realm's time vortexes. I believe that realm plays a HUGE part in the next movie.
3: Last and certainly not least, the Time Stone. While it has been damaged from the snap, it may not play a huge role. But it still might show up.
And how, exactly, can it be used, you ask? Dr. Strange was killed in the snap!
Well, there may be two people left who can use the Stone. Remember the Asian guy who never laughed till the end of Dr. Strange? We dont know if he's still alive, but he may be able.
Another candidate is Dr. Strange's friend who was shown turning evil in the end credits scene. Yeah. The guy who decided "there are too many wizards in the world." He will definetly show up somehow. I'm sure of it.
And YES! Hawkeye is AWESOME! He's in my top four favorites, along with Loki and StarLord and Thor!

Another thing to add to the quantum realm, you can travel completely undetected in there. It's like the ultimate spying spot. XD
Oh yeah, Woo or Wong or whatever his name is XD. It's already confirmed that he's in the movie so possible big role for him I think. Maybe coming in as a substitute doc Strange.
Hawkeye's also in my top 4! :D First is Ant-man, second is Thor, third is Hawkeye, fourth is Captain America

I never thought of the quantum realm as being a food spy hole! That would be interesting to see. I wonder if being in there is what saved antman.
I hope they don't make things super confusing what with the time-travel and all. Then it would be horrible. Usually I don't like time-travel because of that, but, surprisingly, the movie Back to the Future is my favorite movie!

Yeah, sometimes time travel is so confusing *stares at the Flash* XD I've actually never watched Back to the Future, but I've heard it's good.
It's either Scott's size that saved him or his being in the Quantum realm.
I fail to see how the Flash, after having gotten over her years ago, couldn't bear to leave his mother in the grave. Everyone told him not to, yet he HAD to go messing with time. Time traveling is like wading through syrup and trying to clean off without water.
Yeah, I agree with Scott being so small that the snap didn't affect him.
Ok, now we're going on a bit of a Flash tangent, but that's ok XD. So, truth be told, I haven't watched seasons 1-3. I watched about half of eason 4 and have been keeping up with season 5 (and really enjoying it). But, through the help of gifs and memes, I basically know the general plot of the first threeXD. Yeah, why couldn't Barry just let things be. But noooo, he had to go mess up the timeline XD.

I just saw Captain Marvel!!! I don't think they overdid it with the girl power aspect, which is nice, cause that stuff can get annoying. I do wish they didn't make it out like SHE started the Avengers, though.
