I've been reading watching and listening to quite a lot this year. Due to reasons. So I'll start it off.

Favourite entertainment? I could go on forever about like, 90% of the stuff I love. But I'll keep things somewhat short and sweet.
I've added games to your list because I've been keeping myslef entertained with them a lot over the last few months rather than other things. WHat can I say? They're good!!

Some of these aren't really suitable for the kiddos, but I mean, I still love 'em.
- The Prestige (not suitable for smol kiddos, but still very good in my opinion)
- LEGO Movie (The first one. Second one ruined itself, imo)

BOTW was actually my first Zelda game I actually completed. I loved Ocarina of Time, since a really young age, but didn't even get to the Sacred Realm since I didn't quite understand the game. But then three years ago, I finished it.
Revali is honestly my favorite Champion, because although he's a big ol' jerk sometimes, you can really understand why he's like that! In his diary, it mentioned he was an idolized kid. But he always beat himself up for not being perfect. And since Link was basically perfect in the Royal Guard, Revali got jealous.
And Midna's Lament is such a work of art!
(And same, I could definitely ramble til my throat became dry about Zelda :D)
BotW was my introduction to the series, actually!
I'd played as Link in SSB Brawl when I was smol, when completing the Subspace Emissary thing. He was interesting to use, but I never really felt too much of a connection to him. I thought he was just a dude with a sword and a destiny to protect the princess.
It wasn't until I got my Switch, and purchased my copy of BotW that I realised the story went MUCH deeper. I started to research it, and fell further and further into that rabbit hole xD
But I'm glad I fell into it. Because it's such a good series.
Urbosa's probably my favourite Champion, aside from Link, of course. I love her relationship with Zelda, cos she's such a motherly figure to her. And I mean, Zelda deserves that xD
I didn't like Revali at first, cos he was such a jerk, but I grew to love him. Mostly cos I felt bad for him after a while. He felt so jealous because he was considered the best by his people, and then when he heard of Link and his accomplishments, birb got jealous xD I think it was after completing Medoh, and seeing him put that grudge aside that made me kinda like him. He was willing to change.
So many of the Zelda themes are absolutely amazing. I have a playlist on youtube of peaceful music, and I'd say 90% of it is Zelda stuff. It's just godly xD
We could so talk each other's ears off about it, and I so wouldn't complain.

That was actually the same for me! Y'know, when I grew older and saw other Zelda games (I didn't remember OoT was a Zelda game), I was kinda like, "It's just going to be one of those "Damsel in Distress" games, that's boring and dumb." But then my friend literally dragged me to play BOTW and I'm so glad she did.
I love Urbosa as well! Although, they didn't give her much time to see her in full action besides the DLC. And that was for a little bit. However, they did an excellent job of showing her personality.
And sure! PM-ing would probably be appropriate, since this conversation is getting kinda long now XD
