In which Drucilla flirts someone to almost-death

Laughing joyously, Dru continued to constrict the man with her tail, like a swamp boa waiting for the kill.
She took great pleasure in listening to the soft crunching sound of his ribs cracking under the pressure. His eyes turned red as his useless human nails clawed helplessly against the glittering scales of her tail, stained with blood. All thought left Drucilla's mind, replaced with nothing but the cold desire of a predator catching its prey.
It was the sound of a horrified shriek that snapped Dru from her stupor.
Drucilla whipped her head around to see how dared to interrupt the peaceful silence of her thoughtlessness. One of the newer trainees had just entered the arena and was taken aback by the sheer carnage that decorated the arena flooring.
Huffing, Dru returned her focus to the recruit and loosened her grip, allowing him to crumble on a heap on the floor. Drucilla leaned forward, her menacing talons retreating back into her flesh as she gently cupped his chin in her hands.
The man gazed up at her with wide, accepting eyes. Like a deer caught in the headlights, he seemed to have accepted his death. Yearned for it even.
Dru hushed him softly, gently stroking his cheekbones with her thumbs. She leaned forward and placed her forehead against his. "It's okay." She crooned sweetly, her demeanor completely different from the bloodlust rage she had experienced earlier. "Red is such a pretty color... it looks good with everything, don't you agree?" Dru practically sang as she cradled him. "I was gonna paint you in it. Drown you with it. Wouldnt you like that? Humans look so pretty drenched in red." Then she placed a kiss firmly on the center of his forehead. "Perhaps some other time."
And with that, she let him go. The recruit fell face first into the gravel, his body shivering uncontrollably, tears streaming down his dirty cheeks.
Dru stretched, raising her hands above her head as she looked around at the mess she made. She smiled and looked up at the onlooking audience. The expression painted on her face could only be described as childish delight, like a little kid at the playground begging for his mother's approval. It would be quite adorable if it were not for the blood that covered her hands, face and hair, or the menacing fangs that peeked out from underneath her lips.

Mabel

"Man... Where did Issac pick this beast up from anyways?" Domoni seemed a little put off from the man's screams.

"Other than the depths of the underworld?" Mabel brushed away some hair from her face "Probably from that one doctor..." What was her name? Lake? Mark? Something, but that doctor was pretty hysterical when it came to perfection and thus this creature would make a perfect pair with her. Moss started to hide his head under Mabel's seat at the man's screams-Mabel wasn't sure if it was a man anymore.

Hydra told Isaac the name, it being the former directer of the Hydra project. And one who was almost certain d.ead one way or another by now for his failures.

(Well, you caught me. I was too lazy to come up with a name for the lead researcher XD. Didn't think it mattered too much. You can make a name up, or just leave it vague like I did.)

The worst kind of death OoO

Domoni sighed rooted his feet to the ground, leaning forward and watching the hybrid's childish antics.

"Dr. Lark? Yeah seems like something she'd make... Feel like someone should be taking the toys away from the scientists" He teased, a small smirk creeping onto his face.

---

((XD aight... Let's go with....))

"Jonus?" He parroted, his gaze falling to a corner, which he didn't actually pay attention to, more lost in the memory of the man's death.

"The man you kil-"

"This Researcher is no longer with us. I took over the title recently" He spoke, cutting off the female who wanted to clarify the name.

And maybe the most funny death... >:D

"Ah yes her... Your right they really should take these things away from them it seems all they do is destroy and run away!" Mabel gave a nose laugh at Domoni's comment. Mabel looked down at realized the hybrid was done with her tantrum and had left the arena in a blood covered mess and one trainee in tears. She should come to the arena more often...

I feel like Toothless is enjoying this more than even I am xD

Drucilla lifted her palm to the air, the arena around her settled into a hushed silence, only the occasional whisper breaking the heavy quiet. Most eyes were trained on her, some in horror, others admiration, and others in conceit. A queenly smile graced her features as she gave everyone a little wave.

Pulling the hems of the tattered remains of her skirt up, she crossed her legs in a dramatic curtsy to the audience before turning and sauntering toward the exit. She flung the arena doors opened and sashayed out, leaving behind the silence and gore for everyone else to see. She had left the challengers alive for now but it sent a pretty clear message regarding the fate of anyone who attempted to challenge Drucilla and by proxy, Issac Bree.

Dru may be uncontrollable and bloodthirsty but she had spent enough time around Issac to understand politics. Her public display was a huge power move, and a warning to all who ever thought a single traitorous thought: Issac Bree's guard dog has a nasty bite.

Hydra's tail claw snapped open and shut several times, seeming to be in thought.
"Very well. Updating research Master status." Hydra replied finally, before slowly dipping his head in a sign of respect and then adding "Awaiting new orders, Master Bree. Do you wish for me to head out to capture another research subject immediately, or do you have other tasks for me."

((I go to bed and do my homework and BOOM a billion new posts XD. Took me a while to find out what is happening at the moment.))

Aurelius sighed, and folded his wings in a way that was more comfortable.

"Son, listen. This is not just about you stealing a stranger's meal, or damaging property or all those things you like to do. All of these things are unacceptable, of course. But as my son, there is a certain image you have to keep.

Certain... responsibilities you have. Maybe, you will be leader of this tribe someday, but as long as I'm still around I will not tolerate this behaviour. Do you understand?"

The hybrid was satisfied with his little speech, and stared at his son to see Othetto's reaction.

"So Hydra actually came back.", Doctor Lark mumbled to herself while examining the hybrid. It was unconscious, and currently lying on the floor behind a wall of glass. These little cells were extremely practical, and directly connected to the arena.

"Lawrence, make a blood test. I need to know if this thing has any Night Fury DNA. And did you get rid of the failure already?"
"No, I...", Lawrence scratched his head.

"Then I'll do it, I really can't waste any more time or energy on this creature. I want you to test every wild caught hybrid we have for Night Fury DNA, alright? I expect to read every single detail in a nicely typed report, by tomorrow."

She grabbed the cage that was standing on Lawrence's desk and wandered off, towards the elevators.

On her way to the arena, the little thing started to chirp, and gnawed on the metal bars. Her plan was to find something that she could feed this failure to. It wasn't really worth anything, and the sooner it was gone, the better.

The creature did have most of the required traits. It was very colourful, and looked almost tropical. Too bad it was missing a pair of wings, and was so small. The weird, blind looking eyes could have been fixed, as well as the fangs, but all of those mistakes combined were almost impossible to ignore, especially the size problem. So, it would be easier to just make a new one.

She could've just fed it to one of the caged hybrids underground, but she liked watching the trainees and her creatures in the arena. It always gave her the best ideas.

Doctor Lark was almost there, when she saw Drucilla, Bree's hybrid, walking outside. She looked delightfully horrifying. Her dress was torn and she was covered in blood. Seemed like she had a lot of fun in there...

Atvin smiled at the Ikran-Fury. He was now sixty percent sure that her name was Erin.

"Yes, definitely. We should talk more often!"

Usually, he wouldn't have shared his berries, but he was feeling nice that day.
"Guess what I found today, probably some of the last ones this year. Want some?"

He took out his bag and showed her the results of his foraging.

Obsidian just smirked, humor in his voice.

"Me? Giving a report? You have a great mind, boss, and great ideas, and this is not one of them. If you let me talk, I'm just gonna tell a dramatic story how we saved the whole wide world and stuff."

It was pretty much true. Not that Obsidian himself wanted to look a hero or anythig, far from that, but he wanted to have actually something to tell before telling anything. And just "It was quiet, end of story" wasn't really that...compelling. Okay, the Queen most likely knew when Obsidian was exaggerating his report, but someone else might hear and believe it and then tell some rumors and..yeah. So for the safety of all of them, it was never ever a smart move to let Obsidian talk. But of course, it didn't take too much convincing for him to do it.

"Okay, fine, I'll talk to her. But you need to kick me if I start to tell some heroic story. Actually don't kick. Just...nudge or something."

He followed Bow to the next room, the room of the Queen herself. Sometimes Obsidian could act like civilized grown-up, and being in front of the Queen was one of those situations. He sensed something around her that he didn't sensed around anybody else. He couldn't really explain it, but there was something really powerful, but not threatning.

I think Toothless is enjoying it a lot XD

Domoni chuckled a little, watching the girl leave the red coated floor, a caretaker of the field coming in and sighing in annoyance as he directed several medics to collect the people.

"Bet he hates his life right now" Domoni croaked out, stretching his arms above his head and leaning back in the chair again. More so waiting for the arena to be cleaned up so he could back in.

--

Issac stood there for a short moment, taking in a deep breath before responding.

"On stand by for the moment. Vic, may you alert Dr. Lark to meet me here" He spoke, turning his attention to the scientist behind him. Gaining a short nod in return then she began speaking in to a radio and called for the lady's name.

------

Othetto let a quiet hiss escape as Aurelius spoke, his ears flattening more in anger than embarrasment now. His attention stolen by the blue light illuminating his room. Going to defend himself once more when his dad finished but just sighed and slightly shook his head.

"Yes. I understand" He reluctantly spoke.

-----

Bow couldn't help but laugh, pushing open the door and leading them in.

"Oh of course" He smiled, the inside of the room was slightly dark, but the golden yellow glow of plants lit up the throne and the center of the room. The Queen appeared focused on a few papers in her hand as the four approached her.

"Bow! I trust the night was well" She chirped, setting down the documents and giving the group her attention.

"Of course... Obsidian wishes to give the full report today" He chirped back, bowing his head to the hybrid and gave him a pat on his back to take the lead.

-------

Illody continued to trot through the area, letting his wings take him a little higher into the trees where more paths were. Taking a short tour through the colourful homes, he smiled to the creatures he passed by, and gave compliments to their homes and design choices. Upon one home he passed he noticed an odd looking fury and another deer looking hybrid. He hummed and debated to himself if he should say hi, having many points of not to bother them, he skipped over to the two and gave a gummy smile.

"Hi!" He chirped.

Drucilla

Drucilla whistled pleasantly as she skipped down the cold halls, leaving a small trail of blood drops, sparkling red against the pristine white hall.

Drucilla's silvery eyes met the stormy ones of an attractive and rather wall, composed woman. Dru's grin only widened in recognisition as she appriased Dr. lark for a few heartbeats. "Hiya, doc!" She cooed sweetly as she passed by the doctor on her way back towards her room.

Aurelius looked down at his son, and decided that it was enough.

"Alright, now, the next time we visit our allies you will hopefully behave better."

There was a slight threat in his words. The next time something like this happened, there would be bigger consequences.

He stretched his wings a little.

As Doctor Lark was about to greet Drucilla, who didn't seem to mind that she was soaked in blood, a little device in her pocket made a quiet clicking sound. Quickly, she grabbed it, and listened to the instructions.

"I'll be there in no time. A vehicle is waiting already? Good, good."

She put it back in her pocket.

Now she just had to get rid of this thing before she went there... She didn't want to be seen dragging her failed project around.

So, she just placed the cage  on the ground, next to the path. Someone would probably take it, and if not the cleaning staff would take care of it at the end of the day.

The little creature chirped angrily as she quickly walked away. The noise seemed to get louder and louder, after all it was still very young and terrified of being abandoned.

Shortly after, she was standing at the dock. Hydra was way larger than what she remembered. Doctor Lark wasn't that great with technology- she preferred living things- but long ago there had been rumours about this robot that had sparked her interest.

"Amazing.", she muttered more to herself than to anyone else. For a moment, she could feel a child-like awe, then she shifted her attention to Issac Bree.

Atvin smiled at the newcomer. It seemed to be a regular Nightlight, without any extra features.

"Nice to meet you.", he replied.

Some Creatures...

Othetto hissed a little with a slight glare, slipping out of bed and finger brushing his hair. Not that he actually cared how it looked, with it being three different cuts and nearly in knots most of the time anyways.

"What's the plan for today anyways. I'm sure there's something you want to do for the Equinox" Othetto's tone came off bored, and unamused as he dug through a pile of clothes in the corner. Looking for a less torn up shirt to wear.

----

Illody nearly purred in response.

"What's your names?" He chirped, joy filled eyes.

---

Issac nodded in response, still trying to figure out what to do with it.

"It said it listens to me now, and awaits orders. However, I have no missions for it at the moment. But knowing you, you generally have something you always wish to work on. So, I figure you would like a giant robot beast to retrieve something of interest. Am I correct?" He sang, a smug grin on his face as he gave the woman a side glance.

MUWHAHAHAHA

Erin opened her mouth to accept the berries Atvin had offered her but a new friend came by saying hello.

"Oh hello!" Erin chirped to the nightlight excitedly. It's been quite a while since she seen a normal dragon, especially a fury "I'm Erin!" She introduced herself and then looked at Atvin to do the same.

"Definitly... How hasn't she escaped yet?" Mabel wondered aloud, maybe one geneticist got it right when making this... monster. The caretaker kept rubbing his forehead as some of the medics passed with lifeless bodies.

In which Drucilla finds a new innocent creature to neglect

Drucilla's night-fury like ear flaps tilted up at the sound of a soft churring from Auntie Lark's coat pocket. A toothy smile spread across her features. "Ooh. You're ringing." She gasped and rasied her hands in the air, dancing in rythmn to the clicking sound. "You're ringing all over." She spread her own hands down her hips and laughed.

Dr. lark seemed to opther objectives and quickly set the cage had been holding down and hurried off. Drucilla pouted and slowly lowered her arms.

The sound of desperate chirping distarcted the hybrid. blinking, she shuffled over to the cage and knelt on the floor, She tilted her head, almost gazing at the little creature from an upsidedown posistion.

"Hi, little bebe." She cooed, tracing her finger over the cage bars. Drucilla's grin somehow grew even larger. "I've been wanting a new birdie."

She reached over and unlocked the cage, picking up the multicolored hybrid in her palms. "Will you sing for me? The last one never sung." She pouted and tilted her head, her hair sliding off her shoulders and creating a silverly curtain between them.

It was good and encouraging to hear Bow laugh, not at him but with him. At least it seemed that Bow trusted Obsidian well enough to let him do the talking. Obsidian folded his wings around him again, so he would look a bit more presentable.

"Of course on what? That you'll kick me or just nudge me?"

Obsidian grinned, before turned his attention on Queen. He was positive that the Queen was in a relatively good mood. She didn't sound angry, tense or restless, just, well, herself. Friendly and curious about how the night went. Obsidian bowed a bit to the Queen, even though he didn't know if that was necessary. Well it was polite at least, maybe even left a bit positive picture about him. Obsidian felt pat on his back and took a step forward the Queen.

"Okay so...I'm just going to say what I felt and heard, someone else can fill the gaps what they saw. Anyway, it was rather...boring, which is good, because then nothing is going on. I didn't sense anything out of ordinary, just some normal stuff in the night, nothing alarming. No-one was moving around our area. So basically..yeah, that's about it. Quite dull, eh?"

Some say that there was always calm before the storm, and all this might mean that there was something big going on elsewhere. And that something might be coming, sooner or later. But it was better not to talk about this theory just yet.

Not the creature! OoO XD

The Queen smiled as he explained the night, nodding as he finished.

"That's good to hear! I hope it remains quiet during our parade later" She sang, sitting up with joy filled eyes.

"I'm sure your Alpha would be joining us as well?" She spoke, the dragons took a small forward with confident yes in turn. Which put another large smile on the Queen's face as she slithered up to them.

"Splended! Now I assume you are all tired, get some rest and I trust to see you at the parade" She sang. Bow had bowed his head to the Queen and turned to leave.

"Hey Obsidian, you need any help with decorating your home?" Bow cooed.

---

Domoni shrugged and yawned.

"Not entirely sure....." He responded, the last of the people leaving the arena, unfortunetly the new floor colour couldn't be changed just yet.

"What do you work best with? Weapon wise" He asked.

At least the Queenie was content with his report. And oddly enough, Obsidian hadn't tell any heroic stories, so that was indeed some improvement.

"Next time I'll try to come up with something more interesting."
He smiled his friendly, a bit cheeky, smile. But it was indeed much better to have a quiet night, because this following day was super-duper imporant. Parade. And parties. What Obsidian knew, there was lots of decorating going on, and even Bow asked, if he needed help. Now Obsidian turned his head toward the boss. He was suprised by this suggestion, but soon smiled.

"Sure! I would love to have some help. To be honest, I have a terrible eye for decorations, so if you could add some colors it would be great? What I've understood, colors are popular things. And don't worry, if you want to take those catnaps, my couch is free for you."

Obsidian grinned and bowed to the Queen one last time, before making his way out of the throneroom.

"But first I need to make some tea. I can't start a day without it."

Bow smiled with a small laugh as they left.

"I'm sure your creativity knows no bounds" He teased, exiting the large tree with a simple goodbye to the dragons as they went their own way.

"But first I need to make some tea. I can't start a day without it." A cheery smile on Obsidian's face gave one to Bow as he bobbed his head slightly.

"Sounds good, I could stay awake a little while, so no need to crowd up your couch" He spoke, the sun now higher in the sky and made the early morning a little brighter. A small chill in the air to indicated the coming season.

The next season was coming, Obsidian could smell it as soon as he got outside of the building. He liked it. The change. He liked how nature just walked on its own path, no matter what happened. Season came and went, new days and new adventures. The world was never still, and it made Obsidian feel so calm and content.

"Oh, yes, believe me, my imagination is endless. The question just is, how I'm going to use it."
Obsidian grinned and stretched his wings. It felt good to finally get back home, and this time he had company, which was quite rare. Obsidian was social and friendly enough, but perhaps he could be a bit intimidating in time to time. So not many wanted to be his quest, not that Obsidian felt gloom about it. But it was nice to have Bow's company.

"I don't think that my couch would mind. But I think we need to focus on decorations, if we want to have anything done."

They didn't have the luxary of the time, because the parade was in the evening. At least Obsidian's house wasn't very big or complex, just some basic stuff, so it would be super easy to decorate. Everything in Obsidian was super easy, and his way of living wasn't exception.

"So what do you work with weapon wise?" Domoni asked

"Usually hand guns, do not ever try using a mace," she smirked "It usually ends up in your face than the enemy's." She looked down again to see the dragon hybrid leaving the arena. Well she was the world's problem now...

In which Drucilla makes a new ironically named friend

The small creature ruffled its colorful feathers, displaying a captivating menagerie of iridescence and gleaming plumage.

Drucilla was spellbound by the shifting colors and rainbow Cascades that the ruffling generated. That charm was quickly broken when the little thing opened its small mouth and bit down on her palm, sinking tiny needle-like teeth into her hand.

"Owie!" Drucilla winded and jerked back, dropping the critter onto her lap in the process. Her eyes narrowed, pupils dialated at the creature as she cradled her palm.

The thing seemed conspicuously proud of itself, puffing up its fuzz and nestling its beak against its chest. It began trilling out a 2 note Melody, if one could call it that.

This song seemed to defuse the silver hybrid who tilted her head at the very tiny creature. She smirked, licking the blood from her palm and she crouched down on all four to reach eye level with the hybrid. Then she hummed a soft 3 note tune.

The colorful creature merely gazed back at her impassively.

Drucilla hummed the same tune.

Tilting its head to an impossible degree, the bird-like creature mimicked her melody with perfect pitch.

Drucilla gasped and giddily clapped her hands together. She then hummed another tune, this one with 6 notes.

Seemingly encouraged by her approval the tiny hybrid once again copied Drucilla exactly, tweeting out a little song in the process. It hopped from foot to foot in ardor, flapping its wings enthusiastically.

Druccils giggled and leaned back onto her knees. She smiled and once again moved to pick up the colorful creature.

It once again snapped at her but this time Drucilla was fast enough to pinch her fingers around its beak. "Tsktsktsk." Drucilla wiggled her pinky in front of its nose. "You silly, silly little spit fire...." She then trailed off and smirked down at the tiny creature. Would it be logical for Drucilla to make the hybrid "Spitfire"? Yes. But Drucilla isn't logical. She is Drucilla.

Grinning she pulled Goliath up, setting him on top of her head. The little hybrid seemed content to root around in her silvery hair.

"Goliath." Drucilla finally spoke the name aloud, earning a small chirp from the creature. She giggled and twirled around. "Home we go!" She practically sang as she pirouetted down the hall.

Her form was quite remarkable, dancing on the tips of her toes as she drifted along the corridor, gracefully dancing towards her room to a song that only she seemed to hear.

And apparently so did Goliath who was bobbing his feathered head to the beat of the soundless music.

Atvin grinned at the Nightlight.

"I'm Atvin Kahn. I was about to offer Erin some of the berries I found, would you like some as well?" He shook the bag a bit to demonstrate that it was full.

"I'm just way too talented at finding these.", he bragged.

Doctor Lark turned to face Bree, a little smile on her lips.

"And you are sure you aren't a mindreader? I was looking for a way to get a sample of high-quality Night Fury DNA... The stuff we have at the lab is too watered down, and already mixed with so many different things I can barely tell which genes were originally there and which ones were added. I was working on a project, you'd like it, but for that I need to get my hands on something purer."

She went over to Hydra, inspecting it closer. She felt the urge to touch the cold metal. Doctor Lark had always admired technology, like a musician would admire a painting. It was nothing she'd ever make, but still a work of art.

Aurelius looked down at his son, and scratched the side of his neck with a single talon.

"Well, I hope you'll come along to the parade, and demonstrate to the Orloglair that you are capable of proper behaviour.", he said slowly.

"And I'm certain a few of my old friends haven't seen you in a while. They'd surely love to meet you again."

Now, his tone was a little friendlier, almost excited. After all, he had just reminded himself of all the acquaintances he could chat with at the parade.

Hydra interjected at this point and said, "If my Kyvenda core is functioning accuratly, then to my knowledge night furies tend to be a more inportant caste, and most of them stay underground, which would prove extremely difficult for me to track down and capture unaided. However, if I participated in a joint operation, and one was lured out to me, I could capture and contain one with ease."

Peoples, Oh so many peoples......

Bow chuckled and followed Obsidian to his home, agreeing with the notion for the lack of time.

"You have any paints for your home?" He asked, head tilted to the other hybrid, still following him where ever he choose to go.

----

Domoni chuckled and nodded, slowly turning it into a shake of his head. The arena seemed relatively cleared out now, so he stood and gestured to return to the place.

"Shall we go have some fun?" He chirped.

---

Illody purred as he sniffed the air near the berries, sticking his tongue out and nodding.

"If I may" He cooed.

"I'm just way too talented at finding these." Illody chuckled at the comment, quite sure he was, but now his attention was set solely on the berries.

--

Othetto tilted his head as his father spoke, holding back a sigh and smiling.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world" his tone was happy, almost impossible to find any hint of displeasure in it Othetto shook his head once more to try and fix his hair, but figured it was untameable, so left it alone. Now looking for his usual baggy, and slightly cut up sweater.

"When do we leave?" He chirped, wrapping himself in the sweater and waiting on Aurelius.

--

Issac hummed as she spoke and hummed again when Hydra made his estimate. Thinking of the possibility of finding that world.

"I feel as though we would have an easier time checking the Orloglairs for this. I know a fair amount of Mordviga's are pure, but that's a challenge not to rush into" He posed, glancing to Dr. Lark.

"Shall we see if there's anything in the Orloglair tribe not far from here?"

"Sure lets go," Mabel smiled and then glanced at the emptied out arena. Perfect for one on one battles, still seemed a little bloody though but no matter.

Erin gave a purr of amusement at Atvin's smug comment. Inded berries were sorta hard to find during this time, mostly when people use it to make pies or paint for their homes. LIttle hybrids usually were the biggest issues when trying to find them, they would just eat all of them!

Doctor Lark nodded.

"We should probably try to search there first, no point in wasting ressources for such a long travel. And I mean, the creature we catch doesn't have to be one hundred percent Night Fury, but usually the wild hybrids are way less modified, and therefor purer. I also need a large sample, preferable the whole creature. I'll have to test a few things."

She thought about it for a moment.

"Yes, We'll need some competent hunters. Would it be helpful if we brought a hybrid along? Maybe to lure the creature in, that could possibly make things easier. I'm not sure though... But for the hunters, do you have anyone that would be fit for a mission like this? I'm thinking not a huge group, but a few stealthy people who know what they are doing."

Now she was speaking to Bree.
"There's no need to alarm the whole forest, it would be ideal to catch the hybrid without anyone noticing."

Aurelius was getting more cheerful every single second.

"How about we leave right now? I'll just have to search for someone who looks after the caves while we are gone, and then we can leave immediately."

He really hoped that he and his son could have a nice day together at the parade. Othetto was... difficult sometimes, but Aurelius tried hid best to connect with him.

Atvin had noticed a gigantic flaw in his actions. How should he give the berries to this dragon? He couldn't just lay them on the floor, after all. Would that be rude? That would probably be rude.

If Illody had hands, he would just give them it to him. But like this?

"Um, alright. Here you go.", he took a handful of berries and held them in Illody's direction.

In which Drucilla nerds out. YES, naked mole rats are immortal

((Oh! Drucilla volunteers! Lol sorry. Im super hyper right now. I just drank copious amounts of caffeine))

Drucilla smiled joyfully as she leapt into her room, finishing her waltz with a grandiose bow.

Golaith squawked and in a flurry of floursecent feathers, tumbled onto the desk. He shook out his fur, pulling imself up onto his feet before chiping the 6-not song Drucilla had sang for him earlier.

Drucilla lowered herself back down onto her tuffet and craned her neck over to view the wounds she had suffered from her battle. Most of them had already begun healing, leaving raw pink flesh in its place. She had initally been created as the sort of prototype for a super solider, strong enough to face off the Mordviga armies and once and for all establish human domiance over the world. Unfortuately her project had to be cancelled because the scientist who had created her, once famously known by name, had mysteriously disappeared leaving the project only partially complete. He was the only one who knew the forumlas and techniques required. They tried to fill in the blanks and finish her but she turned out less that adequate and quite unhinged as a result.

Drucilla never considered herself a mistake, but as she gazed at her half healed wounds, even she couldn't deny it. Originally, they had planned some kind of super regeneration and cell growth by introducing chemical compounds that regenerated teleomeres at levels equivalant to naked mole rats. Theoretically, this would have made Drucilla biologically immortal because aging only occurs when the DNA at the tips of chromosomes are chipped away slowly via mitosis. Usually these is prevented by protective caps of "junk" DNA at the ends of chromosomes called 'telomeres' and in certain species of animals such as rock fish and naked mole rats, a certain chemical is able to regenerate the telomeres, thusly rendering them biologically immortal and unable to d.ie from old age.

Unfortunately, most of the testing products ended up with cancer as a result of rapidally generating cells and miminal cell deaths, unable to fix this problem, they instead cut the number of chemical down to half that would only activate if there was an inuury or abrasion. The upside of this was very fast healing for superficical wounds, the down side was the fact that it opened uip a hole slew of potential genetic illnesses that Drucilla could develop at any moment's notice. Not the mention the sheer amount of energy it took to heal anything greater than a cut. Drucilla was practically comatosed the days following her first fight in the arena.

Goliath's chriping caught her attention as Drucilla smiled down at the creature. She lifted the golden cage of her dead sparrow and set it on the dresser next to the fault hybrid. She pointed at the sparrow's body. "This is Bruce. Bruce will be your room mate. Be nice to Bruce."

Goliath's nostrils flared as he sniffed along the cage bars and peered curiously at Bruce. Drucilla opened up the cage door for him and Goliath disappeared inside. He hestitantly approached the sparrow carcass,a  small pink tongue darting out and licking the whithered feathers.

"Aww, they're getting alo-" Drucilla cut herself up with a short shriek as Golitath promptly ATE Bruce. She clasped her hand over her mouth.

Goliath tilted his head and looked up at Drucilla, his tongue emerged from his mouth and darted over his faulty eye, licking it. He seemed proud of himself. The hungry thing.

Peoples...... Again.... XD

The arena seemed like a buter's kitchen for a quarter of it, but since the arena is so large, it was mostly untouched by the stained dirt. Doesn't mean the scent didn't sting Domoni's nose as he entered, trying to walk pass it while holding his breath and looking for a cleaner area to train in.

---

Illody purred and stuck out his tongue, holding it under Atvin's hand and waiting for the tasty berries to drop. His pupils wide and you could barely see the edges of his lips curve up.

------

Othetto let out a pleased chuckle as he watched his dad lit up like a thousand fireflies. Walking out of the room as he responded.

"You and I both know that Giles would always watch the place in your abscence!" He chortled, looking for a particular belt with colourful viles on it in the living room. Some of which were half empty, and others completely void of content. But the colours shone nicely in the blue light that came from a corner of the room. Othetto had constantly wondered if they should of fixed that hole in the cieiling, but it was never really mentioned before so he left it alone. Quickly counting the viles of colour and making a mental note of the number while putting the belt on.

----

"Perhaps... Do you think Drucilla would be stable enough to go on this mission?" Issac cooed, head slightly tilted to Lark.

"Keep in mind, I'm not the steathiest thing in the land either." Hydra's voice cut through "What I lack in stealth, I can make up for in hybrid transport capabilites." Issac nodded as he thought, another quiet hum escaping him.

"I might have a few soliders tactical enough for this. Vic, may you please alert Domoni Marshell, and Maybel Ways of this. I'd like them to aid Hydra on this mission" He informed the girl, who was quickly going through her tablet in search of the two then quickly raced out of the area towards the arena.

"There's no need to alarm the whole forest, it would be ideal to catch the hybrid without anyone noticing." Dr. Lark explained, Issac nodded his head in agreement quickly sighed right after.

"Not everything always goes to plan though, we shall try to keep it on the downlow" He sighed.

BLOOP :D

Mabel followed Domoni down to the arena. It was still bloodied and the smell of iron and dust plagued the air causing Moss to whimper as they treaded down.

Erin tried to hold in a laugh as Illody stuck his head under Atvin's hand to catch the berries. Pie sounded good now...

Drucilla

Drucilla shook her head at Goliath's antics then turned towards her closet with a bemused expression. Sliding open the doors, she gazed into the messy depths of the wardrobe as dress upon dress piled out before her. Blinking, Drucilla ran her hands long the silky fabrics, she tilted her head as she rummage through them. Tossing a few stray apparels over her shoulder, she finally. Seemed to come across what she was looking for.

It was a bodice piece meant to sinch around primarily her waist, made our of her own shedded scales. It was meant as protection. While her chest and hips were heavily protected by thick scales, her stomach was mostly bare, soft human flesh. And there are few things more protective than dragon scale.

Setting the bodice down, Drucilla slipped off the tattered remains of what was she once deep purple and gold dress, casting it aside with a mournful expression. She then strung the bodice on over her stomach, the white scales glittering with every movement she made.

Peering back into her wardrobe, Drucilla pulled out an oddly shaped sheet of scales. Little leather loops adorned the top as she fitting it around me waist to act as a kind of protective skirt that covered her thighs. She attached it to the bodice via stringing it from the loops so it fit securely underneath.

Grabbing some arm bands, Drucilla slid her hands through them, pushing them up to rest just below the elbow to enable freedom of movement.

Looking at her fingertips, Drucilla felt her skin prickle as a dash of blue appeared across her talons. That prickle radiated outward, pulsating the blue up her arm and across her chest. The added bonus of using her on scales as armour, they could change color along with the rest of her like a changwing cloak. If it weren't for the darn collar around her neck and chain across her subset of wings, Drucilla would have been able to turn completely invisible. Regardless, she knew that wearing her armour would be the best bet for her if she were going to return to the arena as she initially planned to. She was sick of getting all of her favourite dresses ruined as a result to her own poor planning.

"Oooh." Drucilla swooned and felll back onto her bed dramatically.

Goliath croaked in response and cluttered his tiny wings in anticipation

Obsidian

Obsidian lived as high as possible, just to hear everything better around him. Wind carried so much messages, if he was ready to listen. Also wings were necesssry, because only way to get there was by flying. Or really skilled climbing. Luckily Bow could fly too, so Obsidian showed him the way.
"I have some, yes. Got leftover paint from a friend, but no idea what colors those are. He said something about blue, red and green."
Not that he cared much either. Because Obsidian liked open space, there wasn't much decoration in his home. Just basic stuff, like that couch he had mentioned.
"Like I said, first some tea. And you can find paint and some other stuff over there."
Obsidian pointed the closet door. He had this habit of collecting things that made some sort of interesting sound. Bells were his favorite.

Bow hummed as he thought, smiling as Obsidian pointed to a closet. Upon opening the closest he noticed an unusal amount of bells, paying them little attention as he searched for some paint. Some of which was fairly old, and some of which were too bright, but Bow figured he could work with most of it.

"Don't you worry about that tea, you'll get your share soon enough."

Obsidian teased Bow a bit, while preparing the tea. They were both most likely tired from the night, so they deserved a little rest and a cup of tea. Obsidian tilted his head to hear better where Bow was and brought tea to him too.

"You understand those paints better than I, so I'll give you free hands to use them as you please. Just...don't paint rainbows or unicorns. That would ruin my image."

Obsidian grinned. Well, he really didn't have any image to maintain, to be honest. And he couldn't see those paintings anyway. Obsidian took a sip of tea and his smile dissapeared for a moment.

"You know the saying that there is calm before storm? Last night was pretty calm, so what do you think? Is there a some sort of storm coming?"

Obsidian wasn't usually worried, or didn't think too much about the future. But for some reason he was growing more and more restless. He didn't even know why. The earth and the air were both just fine, he couldn't sense anything alarming, but still he wasn't completely calm either.

"And our cover..." He smiled.

"You know the saying that there is calm before storm? Last night was pretty calm, so what do you think? Is there a some sort of storm coming?" Bow thought for a moment, not a single thing went wrong for the past few days. Although fairly picture perfect, he didn't think much of it.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, if you want we can do another quick patrol just before the parade to be sure" he tilted his head to the other hybrid.

Doctor Lark waited until Bree was done speaking, and nodded at his choice of fighters. She didn't know them personally, but she trusted the lead scientist's decisions.

"Drucilla may be a lot of things, but stable is definitely not one of them. Before I came here, I saw her cheerfully leaving the arena, completely soaked in blood, most likely someone else's. Which is not a bad thing for a hybrid that should be able to fight, I just thought I'd inform you. Although..."

She thought about it for a few moments.

"I'm pretty sure every single one of the hybrids I have would immediately try to flee, and probably even cooperate with the wild ones. So Drucilla may actually be a very good choice."

Atvin dropped the berries into Illody's open mouth, and offered Erin some as well.

He was in a good mood that day. The parade was one of his favourite events, and he was always able to sell a few bracelets and rings to celebrating hybrids.

Aurelius nodded. "You're probably right."

He then eyed the young hybrid, as he fiddled around with the viles on his belt.

"Are you really going to take that with you?", he asked. He had never fully understood his son's hobbies, but tried to support him to the best of his abilities. But, this belt really didn't seem like something someone should wear to a parade.

The big owl hybrid made sure there were no stains on his metal talons, raising them into the air and inspecting them carefully.

*falls onto the ground and rolls away*

Erin nodded excitedly and extended a talon, using her tail and opposite wing as balance as she did so.

"You guys ready for the parade? It's gonna be so cool! Everyone's gonna be coming!" She chirred with a wide toothy grin. The parade was always so cool to see, sometimes the dragons from their underground home would come and the hybrids from the mountains would also join in. It was just a wonderful, peaceful time.

When Mabel found a good empty and non-bloodied spot she stopped and stared at Domoni.

"Alrighty," She started and then looked at Moss who was trying to wipe away some blood that he'd accidentally stepped in

In which the collar administers a behavioral correction

There was a soft chur followed by a soft 'THUNK' as Goliath launched himself into the air and fell on top of Drucilla's face. "Ummph!"

Drucilla immediately sat up, depositing Goliath into her lap.

The baby wiggled around in a show case of iridescence and colorful feathers as he twittered angrily at her.

Drucilla shook out her head and wrinkled her nose as she turned down to gaze at Goliath. "What have they done to you, little one?" She cooed as she traced her index finger over his small head. The creature began a purring sound deep in the back of this throat, so powerful that it shook his entire body. Drucilla giggled. "I know what it's like. To be the failure. Left as garbage. Being preyed on by all of the passing rats, scrambling to get a hold of you. Gnawing. Disease-riddled, pestering rats." Drucilla curled her lips as she cradled Goliath to her chest. "Rats that think they can play God. They have no-" A sharp pain radiated outwards along her neck, originating from the metal collar that rested against her clavicle. Drucilla yelped as her head pounded, a pressure threatening to explode. It fogged her mind, causing her pupils to dialate. "Ugh, this is all wrong!" She exclaimed and swiped the creature off her lap.

The hybrid rolled across the bed before quickly nestling under some of the blankets.

Drucilla quickly leapt to her feet, grabbing a comb and yanking at her silver hair. "All wrong! Wrong!" She pulled out a mat of blood-caked hair and threw it at the mirror. With a small scream, her fist collided with the mirror's surface. Fractal-like patterns cut into the reflective face, cutting small marks into Drucilla's fist.

The hybrid glared at her own reflection for a while, panting heavily.

Goliath peeked out from under the covers to watch his new mother, somehow managing to look concerned.

Drucilla hissed to herself, peeling her lips back to reveal glinting fangs. Slowly, Drucilla's lips returned to a normal, neutral state. Her eyes widened as she gazed at the mirror with a passive expression, as if dazed. Smiling pleasantly, Drucilla turned around. "I'm gonna go draw myself a bath." She hummed then skipped off towards her washroom.

Peoples...

Vic raced towards the arena, flashing a horrified look as she entered.

"Oh gods... this place is... disgusting... Mable! Domoni! A word... Over here...." She called, giving the red flooring a digusted glance, waiting at the entrance way for the two to oblige her comand.

Domoni tilted his head to Mable and began walking over.

--

Issac hummed then turned to leave.

"I'll go tell Dru' of this, I trust you can fill the two soliders in on the details. They'll leave when ever you wish" He sang to Dr. Lark as he left back to the other building where Drucilla's room resided.

----

Illody cooed with a closed smile as he chewed up the juicey berries.

"Thanks!" He barked after swallowing them, then looked around at the pod like homes that were being painted with autum colours.

"I can't wait for the parade this year, I hope it'll be as great as the last one" Illody purred, sitting down and bringing his attention back to the other two.

-----

Othetto gave his dad a snarky smile.

"Come on! You never know if we could need it.... besides, since when have I ever left our territories without it?" He sang, watching as the larger hybrid examined his talons.

"And since when are metal talons something to wear to a parade?" He bit back, holding a devious smile as if he won a battle.

Mabel and Erin

Mabel rolled her wrists getting ready for whatever little face off until someone new appeared calling both her and Domoni to follow, only after commenting the condition of the arena. Domoni gave her a confused glanced which she returned with a shrug and then went over to the new comer.

"Yes?" Mabel gave a quick glance at the newcomer and recognized her, not so much her name. Moss followed both humans with his head down, carefully watching where he put his talons.

"Right?!" Erin smiled "The parade better have fireworks! Or at least acrobatics," she smiled sticking out her tongue.

In which Drucilla gives a makeup tutorial

Drucilla gingerly turned the metal kn.ob to the far cold side. As she withdrew her hand, a distinctive bloody thumbprint was left to tarnish the otherwise glemaing steal. Drucilla watched as if mesmermised by the turrent of water that poured from the nozzel, splashing into the tub below. She watched the cold, frothing liquid gradually fill up the porcelain tub. Bending over, Dru braced her right hand against the side of the tub and reached with her left. She allowed the tip of her index finger to penetrate below the water's opaque surface. A cold prickle ran down the length of her arms, dispersing at her fingertips as a layer of frost gradually crept outwarts from the palm of her hand, inching up the sides of the tub and disappearing into the water.

Drucilla continued to chill the water in this manner until a very thin layer of frost coated the top of the pool, only to be cracked by the crashing water of the faucet. This action broke up the frost, churning it up and spitting it back out in the form of small ice cubes.

After a few minutes of this, Drucilla's bathwater turned into more of a watered-down slushy than a steamy bath. Seemingly satisfied, Drucilla straighted up, her hands drifting towards the buckels of her armour.

~

Drucilla emerged from the bath feeling refreshed. A damp towel wrapped around her silvery hair and her armour tailored perfectly to her soft, pale skin. The jewl-like scales bedding into her flesh glittered like freshly driven snow, now clean of any bloody stain.

As Drucilla entered her quarters, she sat once again upon her tuffet, withdrawing the bundle of silken towles from her hair and allowing the damp strands to fall freely over her shoulder. Druclla relished in the cold sensations that pricked along her neck.

After a short while appraising her reflection, Drucilla retrieved a silver-plated hair brush from her drawer and began to run it through her dampened tresses. She brushed out the mats caused by her fight until her hair formed a silky sheen, slickened against her back. Retriving a hairband from on top of her dresser, Drucilla quickly pulled it up and out of her face, tying it off with expert percision.

Plucking up her makeup brush, Drucilla set to work on outlining her upper lid, pulling the brush out slightly further the nessecary by the corners of her eye. She managed to perfectly replicate the cat-eye on her opposite eye. Setting the eyeliner down, Drucilla then worked on setting the base layer down for brownish-silver (and of course, glittering) smokey eye.

She accented the colour of her eyes by using a lighter shade by her tear ducts, then gradually darkening the tone until she had reached the outer edges of her eyes. She applied a dark brown, mixing it together with the silver and blending them all together seamlessly with a seperate brush.

Gleefully, Drucilla added then sparkles then set about contouring her face.

Goliath curiously inspected Drucilla. With a flutter of useless wings, he flitted over towards her, heaving himself up onto ther dresser, tiny claws creating smile scratches iinto the mahogony staining.

After a half an hour of touch ups, Drucilla had finally completed her look. She took her hair down, and it fell, now fully dried in rich curls long her back. Working quickly, Drucilla selected two thick strands of hair. Her skillfull hands wove the strands seamlessly together, binding them around the back of her hair in a crown of braids that encircled her entire head.

Setting her brushes away, Drucilla once again sat, appraising her immaculate reflection, shattered by the fracture patterns of her broken mirror. She looked as though she had spent the whole day lazing about in her room, not grumsomely tearing apart her victims in the arena. She looked quite well kept and serene, it would be hard to belive that just an hour or so ago she had been the creator of such carnage.

Atvin smirked, and gave Erin a handfull of berries as well.

"Oh yes, the parade. It's going to be great, as always. I'll try to sell some of my wares there, but I think this year I'll treat myself and have some fun most of the time."

This was not different from the years before. Atvin was always in the mood for not doing any work and having fun instead.

Doctor Lark was very pleased with this situation. She just couldn't wait to get her hands on a fitting hybrid.

And she didn't want to waste time, either.
"Wonderful. I think I'll stay here, and have my assistant bring over the essentials."

She smiled at Bree, and then shifted her attention to the little device she had been called on earlier. She left a message for Lawrence, telling him what he should bring and that this was his chance to, well, not get fired, and maybe even get a promotion if he did well.
The real reason she wanted him to come along was that Doctor Lark thought he'd make excellent cannon fodder. He was physically strong, but by no means a trained soldier, replacable, and she knew he would be noble enough to sacrifice his life if he had to.

"Well, I just had them polished and repaired, I thought I'd show them off.", Aurelius spoke. Then he sighed.
"Fine, bring it along. I just think it doesn't fit with the rest of your clothes. And you really have to explain to me how exactly it works sometime. I'm still a little uneasy every time you experiment with these... potions."

He spread his wings.
"But today is a day for celebrating. Shall we leave?"

Erin

Erin gave a big smile and a "thank you" to Atvin then popped the berries in her mouth. she couldn't wait to see all the different creatures and hybrids that would join in on the party, it was always nice to know that there were other weird creatures out there who needed a day to just forget about the war between humans and hybrids.

"Yea! It'll be good to just chill for the day, no need to worry about work and stuff!" She purred with a smile after finishing the berries.

Drucilla The Musician

A sudden clang followed by an ear-ringing screen quickly drew Drucilla’s attention towards Goliath.

The little creature had somehow managed to get into her closet, triggering a tidal wave of personal belongings, most notably the various collections of instruments that she kept stored there.

Ever since she was little, Drucilla had practically grown up within the silver confines of this gleaming tower. The first few years of her childhood were extremely touch-and-go. She spent most of her time bedridden, hooked up to some beeping machine that persisted throughout all hours of the night. The boredom that rested on 4-year-old Drucilla’s shoulders weighed heavy and caused her to act out, often explosively.

To quell this raging dreariness and satiate the hybrid, the doctors began dropping up various hobbies for Drucilla to try.

Knitting was among the first and when Drucilla wasn’t almost nearly strangling herself with the thread, she was shredding it up beyond the point of usefulness.

Then they tried drawing and quickly found that Drucilla was an absolute wretched artist. She also did not have the motor control at the time to grip the pencil without severing it with her talons.

They tried to give her books to read. That caught her attention for all of 3 minutes before she once again grew bored and began ripping out pages and setting them on fire. She nearly burnt down the entire building that day and it was since decreed that all flammable objects be kept far out of Drucilla’s reach. Which was ironic because fire was not even apart of Dru’s repertoire. She was just very good at finding ways to start fires. So it was probably for the best that Drucilla could not breathe fire.

They played this game of giving Drucilla something to do and Dru promptly finding all of the wrong ways to do it until finally, at their wits end they gave her a drum.

Cue relentless banging and smashing all day, disorderly enough to cause headaches in all of the working scientists. They tried to take the drum from her and Drucilla put up a ferocious fight. She nearly bit someone’s arm off and had to be tranquillized.

If they could not take her drum, they figured they might as well teach her how to use it properly. So a music teacher was hired to instruct Drucilla upon the basics of harmony, melody and beat. Much to everyone’s surprise, Drucilla caught on super quickly. She learned far faster than most children her age and the teacher was forced to switch out whatever instrument she had been learning every other week. It went from drums, to flute (which Drucilla broke multiple times out of frustration. Her elongated and curved canines rendered it nearly impossible for her to work properly with any wind instruments), to vocal lessons, to guitar, to violin and almost every other string instrument under the sun.

Her ward quickly became a place constantly filled with music, and Drucilla’s skill grew with each passing day. She quickly outgrew her music teacher, surpassing in skill by the time she was 10. It put a strain on the directors to find her more and more skilful music instruction and eventually no one within city walls could teach her. Fortunately, by then, Drucilla physically stable enough and no longer needed the surgeries or machines. She began combat training when she was 11 and that was enough to pique her interests. But she never lost her love for music and would practice consistently in her spare time. Now melodious music flowed regularly from her room.

Drucilla drifted over towards Goliath who was struggling, his tail snagged between the horsehair strings of her violin. Drucilla leaned forward, prying the small hybrid out of his predicament, cradling him in her palms of her had as she stared at him flatly.

“No.” She scolded him, shaking the creature with her hands. “That is bad. Very naughty.”

Goliath lowered his head, churring softly.

Drucilla sighed and shoved him back into his silver birdcage, locking the door. “Think about what you’ve done.”

The silver hybrid began to meticulously pick up her various instruments, setting them back where they belonged in their ivory cases. She paused as she lifted up her violin, she spared a glance at Goliath who displayed a rather curious expression.

“How about a performance?” Drucilla murmured, a slight smirk spreading across her lips.

She lifted the violin, tucking it under her chin as she brought the bow, resting it against the strings. With a smooth motion of her arm, she drew the bow across the violin, producing a lofty tune. Drucilla paused again, the sheet music to a song she had learnt a few year prior flashed through her mind. Grinning, she began to play the song, her shoulders and arms jerking in quick, rigid movements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYqQVLnrzLs

Goliath bobbed his raptor-like head to the beat of the song, his feathered tail swishing in harmony.

Illody's lips curved up in a large smile as he listened to Erin's desires from the parade. Closing his mouth as he looked over to Atvin.

"Wares? What's that?" He tilted his head, still a relatively large smile on his face.

--

Vic looked at the two with a warry glance, her doubts about the two choosen, but quickly sighed it off and began to speak.

"Issac Bree has requested for you two to go on a mission" She began, waving her hand to follow her back to the scientists.

Domoni raised an eyebrow to it but followed without much question.

---

Issac had made his way towards the silver hybrids room, slowing his step when he heard the muffled tune of a violin song emiting from the girl's room. A small, quiet groan left his mouth as he pushed the door open and returned to leaning against the threashold with a disgruntled gaze pinned to the girls back as she played. Having stopped by the arena to survey the damage she did, he wasn't quite impressed with her decision, making himself a mental note to never say "do what you want" to her again.

"I hate to cut this performance short, but I believe we have a few matters to disscuss. One being the mauling of my trainees and soliders" He spoke, tone deep with agitation laced into each word.

----

Othetto chuckled to Aurelious' admiration of his metal talons and held back a laugh as he spoke next.

"Fine, bring it along. I just think it doesn't fit with the rest of your clothes-"

"Oh no, watch out! We got the fashion police here!" He laughed, raising his hands up and staring at his dad with a large smile.

"And you really have to explain to me how exactly it works sometime. I'm still a little uneasy every time you experiment with these... potions." He continued, Othetto dropping his hands with an eye roll and giving him a cheeky grin.

"Well I'm not dead yet, and don't have any extra limbs that aren't suppose to be there, so I think I'll be fiiiiine" He sang, following his dad to the exit and watching as he spread his wings.

"But today is a day for celebrating. Shall we leave?" Othetto nodded and spread his own wings, falling off the ledge and letting the air catch his wings.

Drucilla The Scorned haha

Drucilla drew the bow across the strings, swaying with the melody it produced. Completely enraptured by the music, Drucilla spun around her room, holding her wings out as she gracefully glided across the vinyl flooring. As she passed by Goliath's case, she unhooked the lock with her pinky.

The raptor hybrid seemed just as engrossed as Drucilla, regarding her with wide silver eyes. Lifting his beak, he trilled along to her tune.

Smilling Drucilla spun back around and continued to play.

Sudden pin prickles of pain emenating up her leg caused her to pause. The hybrid gazed down at Goliath as the tiny creature clawed his way up her back, entangling his talons with her freshly styled hair and pulling himself on top of her head. He promptly buried his body into her hair, vibrating softly from the loud purrs that rumbled from his chest. Leave it up to the new born to seek such comforts.

Smiling serenly, Drucilla returned her attention to the song. Whirling in a quick spin as she played, letting her mind melt away with the music.

Dru originally did not hear Issac's comment. But the sudden icy presence in the room caused her to falter in her musings. Drucilla's back stiffened in response to the sudden presence, talons extended from her fingernails, curling into nasty inward spikes.

"I believe we have a few matters to disscuss. One being the mauling of my trainees and soliders"

Issac's tone was heavy and terrifyingly familiar. Slowly, Drucilla turned around to gaze at her godfather with a wide eyes doe-in-the-headlights expression.

She had seen gentlemen at parties take a Champange bottle and shake it untill the pressure the bubbles caused it to comically pop, releasing its contents all over party guests. Issac Bree reminded her of such a champange bottle. With a loud gulp, Drucilla smiled innocuously.

"They started it." Was the only defense she had to offer.

And it was true. They were trying to kill her, although Drucilla was more offended by the dress....

At that moment Goliath decided to reveal himself to this stranger. The tiny hybrid poked out of his nest of chair, wrapping his claw-like talons around Drucilla's horns and pulling himself up. He trilled curiously, tilting his head, one good cruelean eye gazing at Issac.

Drucilla quickly patted him back down and nervously cleared her throat, her eyes wide as water melons. She looked just like a little kid or a dog who knew she did something bad
