Triple Stryke Question
Howdy! So, I know that (mostly) everyone is excited about the soon-to-be new dragon from the amazing series Race to the Edge! I know I sure am! But, I am curious about one particular thing. According to the How to Train Your Dragon Wiki site (which may be wrong), the Triple Stryke has the exact same stats as the night fury. When it is released, will it be as fast as Toothless? Not trying to take away the money biz of earning dollars from kids who pay for membership to get the fastest dragon in the game, but it would be awesome to have a Strike Class dragon that has the same speed as a night fury but you don't have to pay $24.99 to get it for three months. Any thoughts or opinions? Or even answers? (That means you Admins!)
They canonically have the same stats as a Night Fury, as I know they will cost 1000 gems.
As amazing as it would be to have a dragon as fast as Toothless in game, the SoD will most likely lower its speed status like they have done for other dragons.
You can't really blame them though, after all the people who pay get the advantage.
Although I'm sure the Triple Stryke will at least be one of the top five fastest dragon's in game. :)
Even though it has the same stats in canon, it probably won't have the same speed as Toothless in SoD. It'll probably have the same speed stat as the other Strike Class dragons: Snow Wraith, Skrill, and Woolly Howl (which all have a speed stat of 9.2).
And besides that, I don't think those stats are quite correct for the Triple Stryke. They clearly gave it the same stats as a Night Fury just to make it seem impressive, but in all honesty, they were not thought out at all. The Triple Stryke has a venomous barbed tail, and according to Dragons: Rise of Berk, it rarely ever uses stealth. Yet because it was given the same stats as the Night Fury, it has a Venom stat of 0 and a Stealth stat of 18, which doesn't match the dragon at all. So I wonder if it really should be as fast as the Night Fury. That might be a fluke. But even if it isn't, I'll be satisfied so long as it's as fast as the other Strike Class dragons. As a Strike Class dragon, it certainly needs to be a good racer.
