"Top Clans Trophy Count"

I've done some constant monioring and i've noticed that only half your trophies count for Clans total trophies. After a while of constant observation i've noticed that trophies for some clans double and some half. A clan with a total of 400 combined trophies from individuals would appear as either 200 or 400. 

 

I'm either assuming this is a bug but does only half or all your individual trophies count for the Clans total?

I've seen this too - only

I've seen this too - only sometimes it wasn't even half of the total trophies earned.  Two hours ago it was the whole total, now it's to half (12:18 A.M Eastern Time).  My clan (Knights of Christ) was rank nine a few hours ago.  Thirty minutes ago it was rank seven with the trophy number being the total count - now it's rank nine with the half number - and the top two clans have swapped.  Fearless clan now has less than Berk Academy Student - which was not true half an hour ago.
