Hello! I really enjoy playing Fireball Frenzy and have landed on the top scores many times so I figured I'd share some of my tricks to getting high scores in this game.

-I like to aim with my mouse and use the spacebar to shoot, since it's less strain on my muscles. Of course, do whatever you're comfortable with.

-Some levels are better than others for getting high scores. There are two areas, the arena and underground. There are two "mazes" for each of these areas. The best maze for accumulating the most points is one of the underground levels, the one where after you shoot the first moving sheep (same as every level), you will have targets on a wall, NOT the underground level where you first shoot targets placed on a wheel/gear.

This is what the level looks like after you leave the first sheep room:

This level gives out the most points. The other three levels I'd have a hard time getting over 17,000 points (before accuracy bonus), but this level I can end at over 20,000 points.

-Make every fire blast count! You get an accuracy bonus at the end, and the higher your accuracy, the more it will multiply your score! Don't go blasting willy-nilly and hope you hit something, make sure you aim right at the targets. The more you miss, the lower the accuracy rating at the end. If you make it to 90% accuracy or more, your score can go up to 90,000+ points!

-Aim for the dragon targets first and foremost, if they're available. They're worth the most at 500 points each.  After, get as many vikings shot down as you can. They're worth 200 points each. Worry about the sheep last,  they're only worth 50 points, unless there are only sheep targets, of course.  If targets are rotating and the viking/dragon targets are out of range, shoot down as many sheep as you can until the vikings/dragons appear again. You have a limited time at each little area, so you must make the most points out of the time you're there. Some areas you're at for only one second!

-Sometimes you can shoot a target that's out of range on a rotating platform. If you see the target sticking out from the side, aim carefully and you can hit it! This happens often when dragon targets quickly rotate before I have a chance to shoot. They're easy to tell apart from the other targets because they're smaller and appear light yellow from the side.

Here's a picture showing you. The dragon target from the side is circled in white. If you aim correctly, you can hit it!

-With targets rotating on a wheel, aim a little ahead of them to hit them if they're moving fast. Targets on slow wheels are harder to miss.

-When you start walking to another area and you can see it from far away, you can start blasting the targets! It will save you time and in the end, gain you more points. Of course, since you're far away, aim carefully for the accuracy bonus at the end. Be more careful with targets moving on wheels from far away, you'll need to know the right time and spacing to aim ahead of them so your long range fire hits them.

-If you're moving away from an area and targets are still in sight, continue to try to hit them and aim carefully!

-Of course, don't hit Hiccup or Astrid, you'll lose 200 points for the former and 100 points for the latter.

-If targets are close together, you can aim for the middle of both of them and kill two birds with one stone!

Anyways, I hope that helps you with this game. If I think of more tips, I'll add them to this thread.

If you have any questions or would like to add, please post!

I only have one problem

Those are what I've been doing,so it makes this a rather accurate walkthrough/guide.

My only problem with Fireball Frenzy right now is the lag I've been getting. Because of the lag,my shots which should have hit the targets instead miss and reduce my accuracy bonus T_T Ay..

I haven't noticed any lag,

I haven't noticed any lag, but sometimes I'll press my spacebar to shoot and it doesn't fire, which can be annoying.

Some more, some the same

Hey,

I've been playing Fireball Frenzy for a while trying to get the related achievements (the last of which is playing it 100 times!!). I may say that nearly everything has been said yet. Still, there are some more hints which will be useful to know:

1) about accuracy bonus. Playing several times and taking notes leads me to conclude that: if you get an accuracy less or equal than 60%, the accuracy bonus is exactly your final score and so your total score (sum of final score and bonus) will be the double final score; if you get an accuracy between 60% and 80% the accuracy bonus is double time your final score, so that the total score is three times your final score; if finally you get an accuracy higher than 80% your bonus is three times your final score so that the total score is 4 times your final score.

The point is, 81% bonus=99% bonus, so don't be afraid if you miss some targets, just be sure you don't come under 80%. This means you can try also some hazardous shots without losing points, or you can shoot faster without caring to much about making each shot a center.

2) about triangular targets. Nearly every three-faces rotating target has this pretty glitch that if you shoot at an empty face you get the score of the hide-faces targets. Moreover, if you manage to shoot at an edge you get both the scores of the targets on the neighbour faces.

3) about playing with a dying dragon. If you enter the Fireball Frenzy with enough dragon health to run a race, you can run as many races as you want. At the end of the race, when your score is shown, choose "Highscores" instead of closing the window: you'll see the daily highscores and will be asked after a few moments if you want to run Fireball Frenzy again or not. This path allows you to run it as many times as you want. Be aware that when you exit Fireball Frenzy your dragon health will be almost zero and its happiness at a low level.

4) multiple targets. As it was said, some shots can reach two targets at the same time. Most of the times this happens when two targets are nearly in touch and you shoot at their joint. However, some targets may not be so close and still you're able to reach them with one shot: the trick is to shoot from a certain distance and aim at the middle point bewteen them.

5) bugged areas. Some targets and some target wheels are not reachable due to some glitches. I'll post some images if I can. Anyway, if you find that a straight shot misses the target don't shoot that target anymore.

That's all. Hope it will help! I reached some pretty scores applying all this stuff so that I thought it will be worth sharing some tips. Enjoy!

Typical High Scores

So, since you get high scores in FF, what are your typical high scores?

Are they in the billions, like the top scores posted?

Thank you for these awesome

Thank you for these awesome tips,i'm becoming Fireball Frenzy-addicted XD. I have only a question: which is the "best" dragon to use in this minigame? I've noticed,by experience, that Monstrous Nightmares are one of the best, with them i can reach high scores and i have more accuracy with it.

Exceptional advice,

Exceptional advice, Harmonica. You're very observant. Thank you for taking the time to share. What's your average/highest score, and how long did it take for you to get that good? FF, here I come!
