Thawfest daily quest rewards not progressing past day one.
I'm sure I should have been at day 3 by now, but I'm still stuck at day one despite doing all 3 dailies every day since the event was released 2 days ago.
Now I'm not sure if I'm actually getting the correct rewards or none at all.
Am I the only one with this issue?

Same, same, same. I've emailed support about this issue and they said that my computer didn't meet the requirements. Absurd, I didn't have any problems with Dailies during Dreadfall and Snoggletog, excluding the "reset sixth day", but everyone had this problem. They just sent me back an automatical message, it's obvious - I had mentioned two other issues that can't be caused by my computer, because my friend, who uses a different device also has those problems and they said nothing about those issues. I'm disappointed.
Btw - does anyone have an idea why both battle ships have the same name ("Thawfest Scout") and they arrive from the same point - just as the Outcast ship? The only difference is the number of HP.
EDIT: Fun fact: In theory today I got a silver chest treasure as a daily reward, but nothing like this appeared in my backpack. I feel completely cheated. Good job, JumpStart.
If it was for 3rd or 5th day then those are chests with medals. They don't appear in inventory. Hopefully they are being added to our medals. I haven't checked totals before and after but I intend to, when I remember.
I know when I should've gotten the chest. And as far as I remember, I did get any medals when "got" the iron chest. So I'm not sure if medals are added even if a chest don't appear in the inventory. We'll see tomorrow, when I should get the 5th day reward - the silver chest (I know, I mixed up the name of 3th day reward with the name of 5th day reward in my previous post, but still, I meant the 3th day reward).
EDIT: Checked today, day 5th - no chest in my inventory and no medals have been added. So it's completely glitched.
As far as i can tell, the daily login reward is bugged ever since... err... ever since i can remember seeing a daily login reward in the game...
To clarify, you can get the event chest in your inventory. Not directly added to the points.
The Black design Iron Chest gives the same contents as the Mystery Box in the store.
The Silver design Chest gives the Medal when you open it from your inventory. I have a few piled up after awhile and i don't even remember being rewarded from the login since mine tends to restart to day 1. But i do sometimes get multiple login rewards a day when switching in between devices... so... i got numb to that bug so much that i don't care anymore...
You replied to an old post. Reeeeaaaallyyy outdated. To clarify, I'm getting the daily login rewards right now, it started to work properly on 7th or 8th day of Thawfest.
I know the chests appear in my inventory. I know the 3rd day chest gives items, the 5th day chest gives medals. I didn't know it that day, because the chests didn't work properly back then. Also I know that the medals aren't added directly, it was just a test, a user suggested it in the post above mine as a possible solution for the glitch. Please read the posts carefully before you reply to them. Or maybe check the later posts. Notice that no one mentions the chest issue right now, because it got solved pretty long time ago. So please don't reply to outdated posts, it only starts needless discussions. Thanks in advance.
PS.: Excuse me, nobody said the daily login rewards hadn't been buggy before the event. The discussion was about the special chests, in theory given, but in fact not recieved. It was a problem, because it was a way to gather medals and it didn't work properly back then. Honestly, I have no idea why you posted your comment right here, it's kinda off top :/
Just to clarify what the chest does. Since no one did that in this post and someone that hop along will be misinformed by those.

Dude, it's a different bug. People having "my" bug didn't get the chest at all back then. Now no one complains about it, so I guess everyone gets their daily login rewards. Your bug and my "ex-bug" ('cause it's fixed for me) are two completely different things :'D
I also 'got' a silver chest today as login bonus but nothing happened lol so yay.

Same here - but "hay!' we got an extension AND battle events every hour AND the sheep harvest an hour early - so... not complaining here!
Emmm... I've just lost 100 medals, 'cause I hadn't gotten Daily Quests rewards for three days now. I'll lost much more if they don't fix it, so I'll complain until they fix it, or at least stop saying that everythingis ok. It really annoys me, when they say that something which is certainly not my fault is because of my device. They've been excusing like that since Dreadfall ;-;

Same here. I have completed every daily quest that has appeared on the board and I am still on day 1. Also I haven't received any medals from them.
I was so happy to get some medals when I logged in today, but no. There was no silver or iron chest to be seen, anywhere.
But I guess I can forgive because we have battles every hour now! (But you don’t get any chests....)
Actually, before Thawfest I was having the problem with being stuck on day one. I was really trying to grind those gems, so that didn’t help. After Thawfest came along though, It was fixed! So I don’t know what happened....

Also same here, this happened to me last Snoggletog but at Dreadfall it was working just fine...
Today I was on day 3 of the daily quests and I got my medals after doing 2 of the daily quests. I didn't get my daily log in bonus today though. I was supposed to get the day 3 bonus, which is the Iron medal chest(or whatever it's called), and it wasn't in my backpack. I've checked my backpack several times today in hopes that it would eventually be added but so far nothing so as of right now I've been cheated out of my day 3 daily log in bonus.
Today should be day 4 but 'today's reward' is still on day one. I'm not rewarded the day one tokens for doing the three daily quests. As they are now, the daily quests award no event tokens at all.

I have a similar issue. I'm currently at Day 3 and I am getting the daily rewards as I log in, BUT I've just finished playing the Daily Quests (2 out of 3 are enough) and I have not received my 50 medal reward. It's basically like I've done nothing; and what's even worse, on the quests panel Day 4 has a green tick on it - as if it has been completed, and day 4 is TOMORROW...
I love SoD but they should REALLY do something with all these bugs :(((
Just want to say that I'm still having this Daily Quests issue. And it would be really nice if devs started to work on fixing it. And if they currently do this (strangely I don't really count on it), it would be double nice if they let us know it.
Still on day one, and I'm not receiving the day one rewards despite the checkmark.
Hope we'll get some kind of fix next week.

Quests still aren't working but I just had all three chests from the daily rewards turn up in my backpack.
Haven't checked it yet, but yesterday I messaged Brynjolf about it, so maybe devs took a look at it.
EDIT: Got all chests back, but Dailies still don't work for me.

I'm not getting anywhere with mine either. It's stuck on day 1 and I've been doing all three dailies for the past however many days. I don't think the devs care much when it means less medals for us and more money for them. :/
How will broken content in a game make people pay money for it though?
Pay for medals so the prizes can be obtained more quickly and with rumors that Galeslash is coming even I'm prepping for him, and I don't even care about this event. But I rapid-farmed and now I have excess medals so I won't be paying for any (I hoarded gems for speedups on a sheep won through free medals).
People pay money to get things more quickly, but that doesn't answer my question :þ
You asked why people would still spend money on it (or at least that was how I interpreted the question, I may be wrong). They'd spend money because 100 free medals is a big deal in terms of prizes/earnings, so when you don't get any big prizes, you're more likely to spend money on medals to make up for that. The less medals you have in the first place, the more money you'd have to spend.
I don't think offering broken content and having people pay for a way around said content would be a viable marketing tactic. I doubt it'd get them many customers. I mean, I would be more inclined to throw some cash at something good and functional. I wouldn't want to pay for something defective, personally.
You'd think so but there's a hybrid dragon at stake. Those who haven't hoarded gems for it are subject to detriment and will end up having to pay for either gems or medals. A new dragon is incredibly tempting to most. Broken or not people will still try to get that. I mean they can't get daily rewards but if they want that dragon they're not going to pass up other opportunities. Think about the people who've spent a ridiculous amount of money to get Zapplejack within the first few days of the event. People will do stupid things for prizes that will not benefit them in real life, because they either don't want to wait or simply MUST have that prize. Never, ever, underestimate the lengths people will go to for something exclusive. (SOD still has customers, to my point.)

If they want to spend their money on a game instead of on a new Nerf gun (for instance) - that's totally a viable alternative. Or, if someone wants to spend their extra money at a Casino (as long as they aren't addicted) instead of buying a new TV - well, that's just their choice and it's just as viable.
There are some stupid things to spend your money on (in my opinion though) (like giving money to scammers because you think they're legit).
If people wanna spend their money on SoD (And there's a whole lot of worse things they can spend their money on), I say they should go for it! (in my opinion of course LOL!)
They will not end up having to pay, because it's their choice. There's nothing at stake.
If one gives in to temptation because they want an unimpressive looking character from a poorly-made game people continuously complain about because it's very broken, that's on them. If people want to waste money and use it to say 'yes, we want more broken content and we'd gladly pay for it', that's really just poor responsibility. And I hope it'll be a lesson for some. Then again, money is worth more to some than others.
People should just vote with their wallets, really. Imagine the state of the game if people only paid for an actual working product. They would have to improve the game. Now they don't have to as people will slurp it all up regardless of quality.
I still can't wrap my head around the idea of people paying for broken, unfixable product. I really can't.
tl;dr: people buy broken product and then they wonder why said product is in such a poor state while purchasing more broken product, and that's bad.
Wait. Just to make sure we're both on the same page, I don't mean pay for the game, I mean paying for the "in-game purchases" for those medals. You're right, it's entirely on them, but that's kind of my point... They're fine paying a broken game to get an exclusive prize since they won't be able to get them through rewards.
It would be nice if people voted with their wallets but that's an ideal and unrealistic expectation.
Ohhh you mean like spending gems? That's not a big deal at all imo. People can still choose not to use their gems if they don't wish to do so.
Not gems, I mean real money. Gems you can still get for free. I'm talking about players who, like you said, choose to pay TO a broken game (not for it, my words were very clearly misleading and I apologize for that). It is their choice to pay for medals due to broken content but the fact remains that they are still paying, choice or not. They pay because they want a dragon/other prize that is harder to obtain with that broken content.
That's a bad choice on their part imo, but it's their money so, haha.
