Technology Recommendations?
Alright, so my computer I use for gaming is old. Like ancient wizard sitting in a tower for hundreds of years, screaming at kids to get off their lawn, old. I'm honestly still surprised that SOD and Stardew Valley still run on it pretty well-which is why I haven't bought a new one. However, as time continues onward, my poor Dell is trying her best to hang on to life but you never know what will happen.
So, long story short, any pc recommendations/what do you use for gaming?
(I do have an xbox one, but I can't really play SOD on it or have steam soooooo)
Ooh, a Dell? I am interested, since my computer is a Dell Latitude E6500 laptop. What model is yours?
Heh, and you say yours is old. XD XD Judging by the number, yours is just slightly newer than mine. But, mine works, so I don't really need a newer one. Although it would be nice... XD A few days ago, I was looking anyway, and Dell apparently sells a "gaming" laptop for around $650 (give or take $45). With a price like that, it can't be all that great, but it would be better than what I have.
Hey, since I'm on the topic and curious, what are the specs/hardware on yours? I have 4GB RAM, a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and a 500GB hard drive.
Chromebook. x3 I use Chromebook and it acts like a mobile device. You can get ads for eggs and gems. Yet it acts like a PC by working like one! It's a good choice in my Opinion. Especially the Acer 15 Chromebook (The one I use)! :D I hope this helps! ^-^
No problem. x3 Always happy to help out anyway I can! :D
What kind of games do you want to play? Which one do you think it the most graphically demanding? What you can do is check out that game's recommended specifications and go from there. I personally like get something a bit better than the recommended specs so the computer can also run games that come out later, but that might not be cheap.
Building your own is usually the cheapest option, and not very difficult since there's infinitely many youtube videos about it, or you can throw a techie some cash to do it for you. Another upside is that you can pick and choose your own parts.
If you want a prebuilt pc, brand doesn't really matter that much as every brand has budget and performance machines. I think it's best to go with a game's recommended specs and see which brand offers what you need!
I have the same problem. Dell sucks. Build your own gaming PC ( I want to but don't have any room for one)
Oh nice! Awesome to find a fellow Dell user :) I have the Latitude E6520 model
