While Steven and Peridot use the leftover parts from the drill to build a rollercoaster, Lapis tries to “bust” them to Pearl, hoping that she will deem these activities too dangerous for Steven and evict Peridot from the barn. Meanwhile, Lion’s double identity as a secret agent is revealed as he disappears to battle an evil scientist Gem, whose nasty invention misfires and makes Peridot’s rollercoaster disappear right before Lapis can get Pearl to see it.
SUCH AN ORIGINAL STORYLINE, TOO!

Jasper’s Day Off
Connie discovers an unconscious Jasper washed up the beach while on her way to Steven’s house. When Connie tells Steven, they decide to try to help Jasper instead of reporting her to the Crystal Gems. Jasper is still too weak to fight back and is treated to a day of baseball, sightseeing and even a parade in Empire City. Jasper starts to warm up to Steven and Connie, but they must stay one step ahead of Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl, who are hot on Jasper’s trail.
