Shooting far away from the ship during battle events
One thing I still don't get about the game: The rules in battle events
Every battle there are some players that shoot far away from the enemy ship and stay in that checkpoint area, I get it that they can shot unlimited times by doing that and so have a higher score, but when you are that far away you probably can't see the target to shoot, doesn't the damage only counts when you shoot at the red target?
All that matters is that you hit the ship; the ridicule/target that shows up when you're around the ship just ensures your dragon's fireball will hit that part of the ship. ^^ So as long as a barrage of fireballs smack the ship, you can score no matter where you fire from.
Yep u don't actually need to hit the red target to shoot, ya can shoot from far away as long as ya aim properly
Yup! just aim well, you don't need to focus on the crosshairs.
does that net more points than crashing into the ship when shots run out?
Unless you're trying to level a shortwing dragon I would suggest just flying back to the recharge station, recharging your shots then flying back to the ship. I think you get a penalty when you have to respawn. At least, crashing into the ship has tended to result in lower scores for me.
You lose points when you crash into the ship so yeah.
good to know ive been crashing it on purpose thinking Ill get more points lol. Thank you!
