Quest not always showing up at the bottom of the screen

I have multiple quests on the go, and when I accept a new quest, sometimes it doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen and instead shows one of my other ongoing quests. It's not really that much of a problem, but it gets a little annoying after a while when I have to open my journal and reselect the new quest practically every time.
