Possibly returning, but I have questions
Hello, been a good while since I was last here. Anyways- on to the questions.
One- So I literally can't login to the site itself, just the forums (magage account throws a fit if you try the password they send via email). It's been so long since I've played the game that I can't remember...Does the password you manage to change on-site effect the one for your game at all?
Two- Alright, so I see I missed an event where you can grow the nightlights. Will this return, am I out of luck, or is there another way to grow the two nightlights I currently have?
Three- Did they ever return quests that let you get gem quests, or are those still gone?
I may or may not have more questions but yeah those are all I have for now.

1. Not really sure how to help with this one unfortunately.
2. Right now the only way you can make the NLs adults is if you completed the Summarhildr event, however, one of the game devs said that they are looking into putting the questline from the event into the store as a sort of mini-expansion but when or how this will be done is still being decided. If they do this my assumption is that once people buy and complete the mini-expansion then they will be able to make the NLs adults.
3. Unfortunately there is only 1 nonmember gem stable quest and it's extremely rare and difficult to complete if you don't have the right dragons. It's called "The Frozen Dark". It's in the 3rd slot, titan only, 5 star difficulty, and takes 96 hours to complete. You get 2 helmets of gems from it. I can get a 100% success rate with 2 level 50 titan Woolly Howls and 2 other level 50 titans. There are about 3 other gem stable quests but they are for members. There is one in the 5th stable quest slot that you can send the NLs on but you need a membership at least once to permanently unlock access to the 5th stable quest slot so I classify that as a member gem quest because you need a membership to unlock that slot.
Yeah, there's like 3 different password for this game, one for the actual game and 2 for the forum. They don't label it the best and it can be such a hassle to change stuff.

When you finished the Summarhildr event you got a free NL(you could pick which one you wanted)and an age up token to make it an adult if you wanted. I'm assuming if they put the questline from the event into the store as a mini-expansion then you'll get a free NL at the end. The NLs are also now permanently in the store and you can have as many of each as you want. I have a total of 6 NLs- a set of babies and a set of adults.
To answer your question about growing more than 1 NL to an adult: Once you completed the Summarhildr event you unlocked the ability to make the NLs adults. You could buy age up tokens with gems or get your baby NL to level 10 and then take it to the hatchery and age it up for free. I figure that if they put the questline into the store as a mini-expansion then upon completion the person will unlock the ability to make the NLs adults and will be able to do so like the people who completed the event- either through age up tokens or getting their NLs to level 10 and then taking them to the hatchery.
Yes, battles still give gems except for during events. During events battles only give event currency. That's one thing many people dislike about events- the fact that battles no longer give mystery chests. Some people have asked for 2 battle rewards during events- the chest as well as event currency. Don't know if they will ever actually do that though.
Just a little add on to what Rosemeralda said: Not sure if you know this but only mobile users can watch ads. You might already know this but I thought I'd mention it just in case. lol.
I see! So here's hoping they'll get it into an expansion pack at some point. There's likely to be some bugs but that's like every update in the history of mmos ever.
Right, forgot about that for the battle events. With my slow internet, it's a fight getting the stuff to load and then do the battle without "server call timed out!" long enough to get a chest. It's a pain lol.
Ah, ok. I've only used the PC version but that's good to be reminded about.
Battles Events still do give you gems, along with watching ads will give you up to 30-38 gems (if you go to the store, you'll see a small thing say earn gems and tap on that and it will say "watch ads" and "invite friends". Tap on "watch ads", and you'll get at least 8 gems.).
Just the other day, I won at least 400-450 gems in multiple Battles.
And they said that they will bring Summarhilder back for everyone who couldn't complete it.
And I believe it will be on sale for awhile, because I believe when a quest pack is first released, they always have it on sale.

I'm glad those still give gems. It was my main source to help grind for expansions, stables, and whatever else. Dragon levels have increased, right? So that means I have an excuse to use my titan Scauldron again. Hehehe~
Looking forward to that, as I've missed out. Even if the price is in gems, I'm sure it'll be worth it! I wonder if they'll provide ways of growing more then one nightlight to an adult?
I've gotten up to 200 gems from a gold rank in a battle event before. You no longer pick a card (Not that it really seemed to matter in the past) it just opens the chest up and gives you the prize. I've gotten both my battle event dragon (Hobblegrunt) and a new racing dragon (Wooly Howl) this way. As far as I can tell, gold rank gives out gems pretty regularly, though the amounts might be small (Anywhere from 25-200).
It's been a good while but I do recall the chests giving a decent amount of gems, eggs, and so on. Glad to hear there's no longer any cards. Always seemd to get the ONE farm item every time with that (and I know I've got 20+ of some farm items that way) lol
For gold teir you can also get gold coins and the improved rod too. I don't think I've gotten decor yet. I can't remember if it was silver teir or gold, but I know I have like... 2 turtle from battle events.

Alright, so I figured out the first one. It was a pain, as you have to press "forgot password" in the RIGHT PLACES (in the game itself just to do the part where you change it for the game in account management). Ugh.
I see! Hope it does return in some way. I don't mind getting another expansion pack lol. Do you know if they'll give us ways to get any missing Nightlights?
Ah, that's unfortunate. I wish they had more quests that did it. I don't think I have the right dragons for that quest (well the right ones for the highest percent. Ah well). Do they still give gems in other ways? E.g battles, ships, and so on?
