Nerfed dragon shot limit and power?

So this is my first time playing this game consistently in about 2-3 years  and I've noticed that a lot of the dragons seem to do less damage and have had their shot limit decreased so now unfortunately a lot of the dragons that I used to use aren't good enough to use in the training ground battles that happen every hour so I was wondering if anyone knew the best dragon to get for the training ground battles now?

I would suggest using a seastormer for battle events. Fast shot and stay by the glowy thingys. Accuracy is very good on the ship and is a long range type shooter (I always recommend long range dragons). Close range doesn't do much.

My top 2 recommendations would be Seastormer and Prickleboggle. Both are excellent in battle events. I've seen a lot of people mention how great Seastormers are from the recharge station but they're also great if you don't camp. I don't camp but I still get in the gold tier every time I use my Seastormer.

A Zipplewraith stole my subject!

I'd also reccomend the newest dragon: The Zipplewraith. It has an incredibly high firing speed, a shot limit of 10, and deals 22 (Broadwing) to 23 (Titanwing) damage points per shot. It's also a relatively fast/agile flyer, with fast accelleration. I'm just warning you: it won't release in the store until a few months after the end of this event (Thawfest 2022), and it takes 17,000 medals to earn one during the event.

Seastormer is excellent for shooting from the "tower". Zipplewraith is good for a direct attack on the ship. I use Zipplewraith for a Battle event if the ship is on the opposite side and I'm still Gold
