More Tracker Class Dragons!
There are several that already exist within the franchise, and while they do look similar there are a few that have some key differences. Most of these come from the 2nd movie, and some have even stayed relevant in more recent games
The Snifflehunch is pretty cool with the nose crests, also has a titan design from one of the mobile games. I guess some issues would be coming up with ingame stats since there doesn't seem to be much on their stats elsewhere. You could proably base them off the Thunderclaw and Windgnasher. They do exist (to a degree) on SoD through a quest, you have to rescue some babies.
The Windgnasher also seems like a good pick too, not too similar in design to the Mudraker, the bumps, head crest, spines, and tail bludgeon are nifty bits of the design. It does have stats outlined in World of Dragons that could be translatable. They also have a titanwing design from elsewhere. Also since Hybrids from Titan Uprising are appearing, the Windgnasher is also very prominant in that game as well as Rise of Berk.
The Thunderclaw would be my last pick, as it's design is noticably similar to the Mudraker, save a few differences such as the tail tip and the lack of ears. They have a slightly different sail, but share nearly the same exact head. They also have a titanwing design. Like the Windgnasher, they also have stats from outside SoD and also exist on the more recent Titan Uprising game where the hybrids are being pulled from.
If these last two exist in the game, you could also feasibly pull in more hybrids as well.
Basically, I feel the tracker class needs a bit more love than 3 dragon species. Will this class not be the smallest? I don't think so, but I think SoD can do better than 3 species. Yes, technically you could say the hybrids belong to those classes, but they are listed under their other class. The smaller classes of Strike and Tidal can use more love too, and they have more availble species! But those are for a different forum post.
Now, I don't animate in 3D, so I'm not that knowledgable on the subject. All of what I know is from the wiki and what is listed as the model animation for pre-existing dragons. I know several dragons share the same animations/rigging due to the bodyshape and size. Since both the Mudraker and Shovelhelm already exist and have their own animations, I imagine some of the work is already done to a degree, instead of making animation from scratch.
Again, I'm not the most knowledgable about this, but this seems like another reason to utilize these species.
Cause and Point, we need more tracker dragons....especially since we're not gonna get any new tracker species from the show and movies.
