Make a re-do quests system!
We all know how max levels don't have any quests left. I think that not having quests is really bad thing because that's the best thing I found in that game. I know we can always buy a new viking or make a new account, but why not make a re-do system?
Maybe make a system that lets you do all the quests again if you passed all of them. It could also be replaying them but I think that starting the quests again will be better option.
That will make more people play the game because maxed levels barely find anything to do. It will also really help us with leveling up baby dragons.
Please do that! It will bring the fun in SoD to much members back!
I agree! That way I could finally get Dart from the Night Light Expansion Quests!
I was considering making a post for this yesterday
I love the storylines and miss them a lot. Additionally, i maxed levels on my main char years ago and am having trouble grinding. I have 3 baby dragons (about to be 4), and it is such a struggle to level them. Additionally, I have plenty of teens/adults I'd like to level too!
In addition, whenever there is new content I am usually a little lost. It's been so long since I've done most of the quests that I don't remember and no longer have context!
Maybe they wouldn't include item rewards (they probably don't want us having infinite dragon egg rewards or double items), but the dragon xp is super important and the stories really make the game.
What a wonderful suggestion!
Or overall getting event storylines that haven't been released as something people who completed all the tasks can do again. I absolutely adored the Golden Dragon's story and how they integrated it with Stoick same goes to the Zipplewraith with the DT levels and the amounts of things SoD was known for ( teaching kids about science ). I know this ones very lenient but it would be cool if either one was considered.
I think it would be fun to be able to replay the quests and expansions without having to create another viking. The quests are part of what make this game so fun. Hypergoof(another forum member)once suggested that they could add a diary that we could buy and place in our hideout and when we click on it we can choose a quest or expansion to "remember". We would "remember" it by playing the quest or expansion again. I think this is an excellent way to introduce being able to replay the quests and expansions. I think it's most likely we wouldn't receive things like dragon eggs, dragons, clothes, ect from the quests again since we would've already received those the first time and this would just be a way for us to replay the quests for fun. We may still get the coins, dragon xp, viking xp, and UDT points(if your viking and UDT points aren't maxed out yet)but I figure the amounts would be lower than the first time doing the quests and expansions because you could infinitely replay them.
I think this is a really good I idea because making a new viking never seemed worth it to me I have a few that were glitched to me during summarhilder but the aren't even finished with the tutorials and the one I bought before that only has three dragons but I can't use the third because I don't have any stables( I get my stables from the video chest around the islands, grinding them when I need a new one, its a great way to get free stables). Also you don't have your good dragons on other accounts.
Repeatable main and side quests would be nice, it would aid in granted exp to baby dragons for max players that done all of the quests already. In the current state of the game there is like... one repeatable quest that gives 1exp? Having multiple that gives a good amount of exp and udt points would be more than a pleasant idea.
Not to mention it would make getting my one and half more platinum stars sooooooo much easier. At the moment, I can only depend on Racing and DT to get to them, which will take FOREVER, since the next milestone for another star is 294,000 points and I got 270,000 something (its hard to keep track sometimes). So, these quest redos would be super convient.
Battles give UDT points too. Farming also used to give UDT points. Not sure if it still does, it would be something you'd have to check unless someone can confirm that it still does, but I know it used to.
Alright. Thanks! The battles are easy to make, so more UDT points right there.
You're welcome! :)
I too think it would be cool to be able to repeat some quests/ expansions. I noticed that once I got to a certain point, I was like, "Ok, cool. Now what?" I mean, there are Battle Events, racing, and Event quests, but I really enjoyed the expansions. Like Hypergoof and HPowers said, I would love to be able to chose an expansion to "remember" in a diary. I hope they can implement this or at least something similar.
I can't believe someone remembered me bringing that up on another thread. Goodness. I feel like if it's that memerable then the re-play idea must be a good thing in general. (I know I would be in game more if I could replay. Rather then coming back for events and poofing again)
I've never forgotten that thread you posted with the diary idea. I really liked that idea; it's a perfect way to introduce being able to replay quests and expansions.
I absolutely love the remember journal idea! What a clever way to integrate a redo quests system.
I would love if I could replay the quests. I wouldn't care if they would have reduced rewards on replay due to being a charicter looking back on their memorys sort of system (Like, the hub to restart an already done quest is a diary or something) or if you could just pay a few gems or coins (depending on the questline) to play again. I don't know if I'd want to get a dragon every time for the ones that give you an already existing dragon but I would still love to experience the story without having to make a new charicter.
Sounds good to me because i am a dragon collector i collect every single dragon i don't care if they are dupplicate or not i aways have space for more so with all those dragons i need more quests to upgrade all of then i love uncondicionaly all of my dragons if i lost one i feel bad
