Let's talk about anime shall we?
Okay, I simply must know...
What is everyone's favorite anime?!??!?!?!?!
Mine is Death Note hands down! L IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also looooooveee The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Maou and Lucifer are awesome x3
Also, I recently started watching Naruto! I like it so far!
L is indeed amazing ^^ he is my fav character from Death Note :)
My favorite anime is Tokyo Ghoul
and I also love Plastic Memories :3
Omg, I LOVE L!!!!!! He was so amazing!!!! But that Kira..... >:( the show constantly made me yell at the screen because I was so mad at Light XD.
My favorite anime is definitely every one I've watched. I just can't choose between them, and I can't choose between characters either. I've watched Ouran High School Host Club, Death Note, Blue Exorcist, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, Say "I Love You", Durarara!!!, Sword Art Online, Kotoura-San (which is actually a little bad.....for young watchers.....), and maybe a few more that I've forgotten. I am planning on starting Fullmetal Alchemist over my next school break, as well.
(Why do I love anime topics so much......I literally screamed when I say the title of the page XD)
Le List of baes:
kirito
lucifer
kaneki
sebby
rin AND yukio
AHHH HIKARU AND KAORU
Yato and Yukine
OMGOMGOMGOMG I SHIP YAMATO AND MEI SO MUCHHHHHHH
im not going to list any more, too many xD
lol my inner fangirl
Kirito and Kaneki~~~!!!
I recently watched Kotoura-san and it seemed almost like watching my own life on a screen right down to the pervy grandpa (though in my case it's my parents "seven girls asked you on a date and you rejected all of them!" to quote my parents). I almost quit five minutes into the first episode because I was having terrible flashbacks to my days in elementary school.
*hyperventilates*
OMG OMGOMGOMGOMGOGMOGMOGOGOG
LUCIFERRR BE MY BAEEEE :3333
Lucifer's hair=bf hair goalsss
((If i had to be honest rn, I'm like hyper))
YES!! SEBBY LIKEY CATTIES!!!
i first didn't like lizzy but i liked her later on
best season: book of circus (i think it was the best!!)
ohmehgerd i ship kirito and asuna so much i'm obsessed with the pic in my siggy.
idk I don't watch fairy tale, since I'm not that interested.
Not sure if anyone's familiar with it, but my favorite anime would have to be Owari No Seraph/Seraph of the End
It has taken over my life plz help me
YAS YAS YASS YASSSSS OMGOMGOMGOMG
i rlly like mika i think he's rlly cute. :3
I am just gonna say this, but Seraph of the End is among my favourites. My friends pushed me to watch it, and I managed to finish it in 2 days... Whoops!
It's literally taken over my life as well... (I ship MikaYuu. I admit it...)
My favorite animes are:
Yugioh (Duel Monsters)
Fairy Tail
Free
Death Note
Ouran High School Host Club
Just started Black Butler
I agree so far, it's awesome :)
Ouran highschool host club was so weird at first and it was like wt-f is this??? How can so much trouble come from a broken vase? xD
Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, Gurren Lagann and Samurai Champloo, those are the three anime a put up on the top of the list as my best anime (and my favourite too)
I haven't been watching anime as much recently, the only on going anime that I watched every week is Durarara (Ketsu). I have animes like Kill la Kill, Zankyou no terror, space dandy and Baccano on the list of animes that I like to watch, but I never am in the mood to doing so so that listed stayed that way for a while now
there's also a lesser anime, more common like Naruto and Bleach that I used to watched don't really consider them the best (I am the fan of manga for both show though, but anime? Studio Pierrot can be a pain a lot of time) but for some reason watched them anyway
there's also Madoka Magica that I consider good.
Did someone say anime?
I can say I've watched quite a few over time, and forgot about more- oops.
My favourites are One Piece, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Hunter x Hunter.
Eat ur heart out I guess haha (you can sort by score)
I suppose I can say I'll always have a show to talk about.
help
The devil is a part timer was so enjoyable to watch! I should check for a new season as it's been a while.
Judging from your fondness of Death Note, I find it surprising that you like the anime haha. If you haven't already, you should read the manga. It's better, up and until the forced plot continuation.
Ah, anime.
My favorites are The World Only God Knows, Nichijou, and Azumanga Daioh, despite being unpopular animes. Trust me, if you love an unpopular anime and meets someone with the same favorite, it'll feel like heaven. XD
Azumanga Daioh was my youth lmao
Nichijou's humor was right up my alley I used to watch both of that and Azumanga Daioh :)
I watched all of these animes a year ago, and I feel like rewatching all of them again. =3
Not very popular but really good
p.s warning
do not start with crystal
dond ask what but just don't
It's too difficult to pick a favourit, but the ones that I love the most are:
Tokyo Ghoul, Fairy Tail, Samurai Champloo, Inuyasha, Bakuman, Ao no Exorcist, Mushibugyou and Noragami.
And I don't know if japanese animated movies count as anime but if they do my favourites are:
Arashi no yoru ni, Karigurashi no Arietty, Howl's moving castle and Spirited Away.
So many Deathnote fans in here; how typical...Don't get me wrong, it was a great anime back when I was in high school and I do have a few pew T-shirts, but it's so old school now I mean C'mon!...Surry everyone, I just really had to get that out of the way first; I won't deny I really did enjoy the art style though but the days of that anime being in my top favorites has long past. Nowadays Guilty Crown stands proudly at the top of my list of favorites and will probably stay there for a long time given how much time and money I've invested into being the best Inori I can be. Hellsing Ultimate also has a very special place in my heart, the art is phenominal and it looks even better on Blu Ray. X3
Before my husband started experiencing some..complications with his mind, he'd finally convinced me to watch Once Piece with him, pretty far in might I add so the art style had much improved (Yes, I'm a bit of an art snob; if the animation isn't to a level of my standards, I just can't watch it!) but that wasn't an issue since he was there to answer any of my questions, and now thanks to him I love it and have plans to cosplay Boa Hancock at the next con I plan on attending. Until he's well again though, it doesn't really feel right watching without him so I started checking out some other animes I've come to really enjoy like Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri and Kill la Kill...though I suppose Kill la Kill is more something I'd describe as I hate loving, but still painfully awesome none the less.
I also just recently finished Tokyo Ghoul/Tokyo Ghoul √A but if I were to say I fully understood the ending, I'd be lying. If anyone wants to better explain Tokyo Ghoul √A's conclusion, I'd really appreciate it. Also the whole time I watched that series I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that the moment Kaneki opened his mouth I knew it was Shu Ouma from Guilty Crown and I must say it definately made the anime more enjoyable for me and might I add it was absolutely lovely hearing that boy scream! Their attitudes have a strangely earie similarity. I was thinking it might be fun to add Rize's black outfit to my arsenal, but at the same time I really want to convince my boyfriend to cosplay Tsukiyama with me (Lawl Tsukiyama Squee! XD). And yes to clarify I have a BF and a husband, our relationship is polyamorous; I don't need you're shallow judgment. Currently I'm still waiting on Assination Classroom to finish dubbing and Gate to finish up, as much as I would love to cosplay Rory Mercury, until I can find someone to make a Halberd that suites my standards of detail, she's going to have to wait..*Headesk*
I don't see what's wrong with old series? There's many great older series around that are absolutely worth watching.
Still, the DN anime was bad. That's all I can say about it. The anime is different and it also ruined the manga's original plot because of contracts, hence the second part of the manga is also... Kinda eh, but still it's better than the anime. Don't even get me started on how the anime ended. LOL.
AND YES ONE PIECE. I also put it off so long because I found the art style to be weird. Too funky. But I got used to it as I was watching and it really grew on me. I don't even see why I found it weird to begin with anymore. It's so expressive and fluid and it just really seems to pop out. It's just so unique and fun and- aaa (though this isn't exactly true anymore in the anime).
I'm SO glad I began watching it. It went from "Ugh, stupid mainstream shounen nonsense" to one of my favourite series ever.
I stopped watching the anime at the beginning of Dressrosa though, mainly because that's when I caught up entirely and wanted to know what happened next. Then I realised that the manga is so much better than the anime in quality, so I never turned back.
Hancock is so amazing! I love her so much. Good luck with your cosplay! I'm still drying to drag a friend of mine into OP censored because she is an amazing cosplayer and also the PERFECT Nami. I want to cosplay Robin with her so bad. (Though I'm not much of a Robin type. She's about 10cm taller than I am and uhh.. Upper area, haha. Oh One piece... Oda and his love for uhh- yeah... "dan nicky").
Of course I'm aware not everyone was in high school when the fandom was booming, but regardless of how old you were when you watched it doesn't change the fact that the ending still sucked royally and only thing that wasn't completely terrible about the second season was Mello... Near can go hidein a fire. c:
omg i'm a huge tokyo ghoul fan I wish there was a third season, since I wanna see what happens after kaneki joins aogiri tree or whatever it's called. :)
Well, like I said it's not my top favorite anime, but I most certainly enjoyed it without a doubt, though I wish they'd explain more of their terms better if you know what I mean..If they made a 3rd season I definately wouldn't have any complaints since I felt like the end of Tokyo Ghoul √A was implying some kind of continuation. Also ever since I finished it, I can't stop doing the Yamori thing with my knuckles; Gahhh, It makes me both shutter and giggle every time I do it!..*snap* X3
Bad ending == yess. Manga ending all the way.
Mello was a stand-in character who should not have existed though, so I automatically disliked him.
I really LOVE Fairy Tail!! It's amazing. My favorite characters are Lucy, Erza and Natsu.
I love Fairy tail! I named most of my dragons after them. My favorites are Natsu, Wendy, Erza, Pantherlily, Lisanna, Elfman, Mira and others that I can't think of right now
Black Butler, Noragami and Akame Ga Kill for sure. They're amazing! Actually, I'm rewatching the first season of Black Butler, so that's kind of a hint of my favourite one? xD I LOVE Black Butler, cause of the characters, some of their backstories make me cry every time I think about them (Poor Finny...) Still, I really enjoyed it, especially Book of Circus. My favourite characters (You're probably gonna think I'm crazy) are the Undertaker and Grell. I have no idea why, but they're both amazing, and kinda weird... Like me xD
I have an extremely long list of anime to watch, and it'll take me a while to get through it.
Another of my all-time favourites has to be Noragami. My friend even has the mangas to go with it (Which I have read). Ireally love the ideas that went into the storyline, cause I couldn't think of anything better.
In fact, our little group loves anime so much, that when we play Kahoot at school, we name ourselves after anime characters. I was Grell (Friends said it would 'confuse' the other players. I won, and they had NO IDEA who the winner was xD)
oh, I haven't watched any in years, but my favourites were
Katanagatari, Samurai Champloo and the incredibly violent and sometimes dodgy Elfen Lied. But only subbed, I am firmly in the "dubbed anime sucks" camp.
Samurai Champloo is such a good series. Too bad you watched the dubs!
other way round - I watched the subbed version - so funny :-D
Much better! I'm still planning on rewatching it once I'm up-to-date with another anime I'm watching now. Samurai Champloo is a thing you just... gotta watch every 5 years.
As you can see I obviously love POKEMON!, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Yugioh and Bleach
I totally ship Natsu and Lucy ^W^

My favourite animes are Hetalia , Attack on titan and FMA
(i can never find anyone else who likes hetalia)
I like Hetalia.A little.F*ck me I like it alot.
Who is you're favorite charicter?Germany hands down 4 me!
Im Glad i finally found someone else who like Hetalia :)
my favorite character is a tie between Poland ,Lithuania and America
Did anyone watch this good but new anime called Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress? It's from the makers of AOT and also the reason why season 2 was delayed.
((Mumei is really pretty and I love her personality so bada.ss))
I admit I'm a casual anime fan; I watch dubs mainly when I do, and I really haven't seen much that isn't super mainstream. That being said, I loved Gurren Lagann, Code Geass and what I've gotten through of Dog Days (kinda stopped after a bit and never really went back; I've got a weird mental block that says I have to finish a breeding project in Pokemon before I keep watching that series...) Feel free to hate me for it, but I prefer dubs when I can get them simply because I can't speak Japanese, awesome as that would be.
And while they aren't technically a series, I'm in love with Studio Ghibli movies. Kiki's Delivery Service introduced me to the wider world of Japanese animation, and Castle in the Sky stole my heart.
Gurren Lagann is the best stuff. Honestly- the subs are better imo, so if you ever feel like trying them, see how they compare to the dubs! You don't need to be able to speak Japanese to read subtitles, though it makes it harder if you just want to watch anime 'on the side' while doing something else. :þ
A lot of valuable and important stuff gets lost in dubs. Though I have to admit that some dubs are pretty neat, like Dragon Ball's.
YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS HE IS SOOOOO CUUUUTTIIIEEE
