I completely forgot about its existence back then.
I wish I didn't remember it.
I wish I could forget it as well, sadly I'm not going to it seems. I don't know why but my mind loves to remember things I don't like.

From what I can tell, people don't like it because of how inaccurate it is to the original show.
I think so at least, the only knowledge I have about the movie are from reviews.
i think the storyline of the movie fits the show, only some episodes couldnt fit in it. but afterall i like everything. only the bending is a bit bad, looks like dancing instead of the bending from the show
The names being wrong is super agrivating. there was no point in saying "Ong" instead of Ang. And "Sew-ka" instead if Sokka.
The whole movie just made me cringe and honestly I wish I never saw it.

It's a bad summary of the first season of the show. Think ATLA but wih the same amount of story as transformers and less explosions and the quality level of Donald Trump actively protecting the rights of muslims.
I wouldn't waste my time on it. Even if you're curious; nothing actually worthwhile happens in that movie.

Well, the movie is NOTHING like the original, the characters were bland, and the bending was atrocious.
Seriously, six earth-benders to move one medium sized rock at the speed of a snail?? Ugh.
remember its a movie and not the tv show. but yeah the bending is bad but the storyline was good in my opinion.
same with the hulk from 2003
animation is bad but the storyline is great and i liked the movie.

the fact that it takes six people to hurl a rock the size of blender and can only make it go the speed of a one your old crawling indicates a problem (plus that guy in the front though) but in all serious ness can someone photoshop that rock to look like a blender

I could throw the rock better than they did!
with or without bending?
Without bending obviously. the rock looks like it only weighs about 15kg and I can lift 20kg with ease. the heaviest thing i've thrown is 75kg. By spinning aorund and building momentum I could easily throw that rock faster, farther, and have it hit the firebender harder than that pathetic display of earhtbending.
Tbf, Mr. Shamalamalaman personally doesn't understand the film's bad ratings. He assumed the main demographic was children, so he catered the film to children. Maybe he thinks kids == movies that lack any sort of depth, accuracy to the canon, or anything remotely enjoyable, eh.
The Sixth Sense was a fluke, I'm sure.
Anyway, I suppose it's cool when someone actually likes it. It's not a good movie- far from that- but eh. I was able to watch it until the end. I can't say that for a lot of films.
If you want to watch a better version go and watch the ATLA episode "The Ember Island Players" the quality of it's storytelling is far better than that of the movie. I've read bad fanfiction that's better than that movie.
