Has anything been said about content from the new movie? Like a release date or all the stuff we’ll be getting? I’m really hoping we’ll get the lightfury and hiccups new flight suit.

Yes, the release date is March 1, 2019. There's already a trailer, which came out on June 7. There will be a Light Fury.

Of course, who could forget the beautiful Starflight? Despite her difficult past, she has found the companionship she had craved for so long, thanks to the help of a kindly group of Nadders. Next to her is her newest friend, Quickflash, whose difficult past mirrors Starflight's, but without the kindness of a mother. Starflight rescued her from drowning and the two became great friends. Both created and given to me by the great DyliehIdol1214! :)

Are you referring to HTTYD 3 content coming to School of Dragons?

If so, we have heard nothing on that subject.

Personally, I think Hiccup httyd 3 flight suit will become a members only item if added to game. But thats just my three cents.

As for the Light Fury who knows.

Nothing has been said or even hinted at as to whether anything from HTTYD 3 will be added in game. However, I suspect once the movie comes out we will start getting new content associated with the movie. I really hope that includes the release of the Light Fury. I really want one and have already been brainstorming names. I know it's a little, ok a lot, early for that especially since there's no guarantee that they'll even add the Light Fury but I can't help myself. I haven't even seen the movie yet and I'm already a huge Light Fury fan and really hyped to get one in game. XD

i hope we dont get a lightfury

if a lightfury really is a form of nightfury, and the lightfury we see in the trailer is the last lightfury like toothless is the last nightfury then i really hope we dont, it wouldnt make sense to have a lightfury just like it wouldnt make sense to have a nightfury in-game minus toothless with the membership, having one would be just as silly as being able to ride a terrible terror, smokebreath and nightterror when in reality they are WAY to small to ride

dear dev team, you have a great game here considering the type of game it is, the size im assuming your team is, and what type of game your trying to make, but you cant keep pushing out new content when theres so many game breaking bugs that prevent players from doing things in the game, for example, how are we supposed to enjoy new content, and expansions, when theres multiple bugs across multiple expansions that cause you to not be able to progress? my prime example being the ice bridge in the quest "the golden room" from the icestorm island expansion

im the type of person who plays things in order of release, so until i can get past this quest and finish icestorm, i cant move on to the expansion that came out next, and in turn, any of the expansions after that, i cant enjoy all the content the game has to offer, and it feels like all you care about is pushing out new content instead to make money, your a company, you need to make money, i get that, but you also need to keep your playerbase happy, and right now, thats by fixing all these bugs that make us unable to progress in quests and expansions

despite what we might say out of anger or annoyance, at the end of the day all any of us complaining about this want is for the game to be the best it can be, we want whats best for it, but that isnt happening while you constantly ignore the bugs and work on making new stuff

i feel like one of the issues here is the amount of games your trying to run, most of if not all of your other games are dead, school of dragons is your best and most popular game, and your overwhelming and overworking yourselves trying to keep all these other dead games up and running, so i suggest you shut down the other games, minus maybe neopets, because ive heard people play that game for nostalgia, and focus on school of dragons

new content is important to keep players yes, but so is keeping your game bug free, and a lot of these bugs are game breaking, like i said, how can i keep playing if i cant progress because the archaeologist is too stupid to cross the ice bridge on the second to last quest of icestorm island? fix bugs like these and then you can create as much new content as you want

oh, and even if these are small bugs, maybe fix bugs that have been in the game for over a year now, like the no dragon firing animation while flying, i personally can live without it, but if this bugs been in the game for over a year im pretty sure it needs to be fixed, but not before the quest bugs

toothless is NOT a titan wing

reason 1: that glow that people love to mention when they say hes a titan wing? thats just the glow he got from challenging the alpha, no dragon has ever gained a glow upon becoming a titan wing (from my understanding anyway, even if they have this still isnt that)

reason 2: the fins on his back, a lot of people love to think hes a titan wing because he can split his back fins now, but the titan wing stage is permanent, it has a rare chance of happening in a dragons adult years (lore-wise anyway, obviously it has to be different for a game) and it is a permanent change, so those fins cant be part of him "being a titan wing" because he can control them, they arent permenantly split in half, and this isnt even something he learned to do on his own, valka (hiccups mum) "unlocked" this ability by pressing 2 fingers behind his head and moving them around in circles, then his back fins split in half, ever since then hes been able to flap them open and closed at will, so thats reason 2 why he obviously isnt a titan wing

reason 3: when a dragon becomes a titan wing they have a lot of noticable differences to them compared to the normal version of the dragon, and they get a fair bit bigger than the dragons normal counterpart, reasons 1 and 2 aside, toothless has no changes to him at all, and even then the glow and his back fins dont really count as changes, because a glow isnt a physical difference and his fins are just split, and toothless isnt any bigger than he already was

so no, toothless, despite what you might think, is NOT a titan wing

I'm pretty sure it's already been confirmed by the writer/director that the Lightfury is not the last of her kind and that the Lightfury is a subspecies of the Nightfury. If I'm remembering right and he did confirm that then it's totally possible to have them in game.

Edit: I did a bit of research and came across a Twitter post by one of the animators for HTTYD: The Hidden World. He states the LightFury isn't a Nightfury, she's a variation of the species and that she's not the last of her kind. This link takes you to his post.

I saw that too.

I've run across a couple stories saying she's not one of a kind. I am also super hyped to see them come into the game, no way they won't bring them. I think she's a gorgeous dragon, and I'm also brainstorming names. I'm thinking something with the word opal... cus of the way her skin sparkles. :)

Yes! Another person who wants Light Furies in game. Like you, I definitely forsee them adding them into the game.

So far my favorite names I've come up with are:

- Luna(yes I know, probably the most overused but I still like it XD)

- Lumina

- Gliss

- Isla

- Misty

Can't decide out of those which one I want to use. I might end up with something entirely different if they add them because there will most likely be threads asking for name suggestions and I might find something I like better.
