How do I disable Forum Signatures?

Not really a bug report, but since I couldn't find a more suitable subcategory, here it goes.

 

It is my opinion that users of this forum don't have much restraint when it comes to their personal sigs.

Just from casually inspecting a few, they take up half a page on the screen, usually because of large images showing their vikings, dragons, clan or whatever information they felt we needed to know about them.

 

But since I find this irritating,  I wish to disable the signatures so all I get are their responses.

I checked the settings, but if there was a function to disable signatures, I could not find it.

Does anyone know if this can be done?

And if so, how do I make it happen?

Nope.

As of right now, there is no way to disable signatures.

I think it would be a great

I think it would be a great addition. I'm on mobile, and sometimes when I want to scroll down a page, I get stuck scrolling down someone's signature full of gifs that my tablet suddenly has to load, and then chrome crashes/the screen turns black/the device shuts itself off.

It used to be WAY worse, though. A few years ago, signatures didn't make a convenient little scrolly box, the entire signature would show up on the page and sometimes I'd have to scroll for more than ten seconds just to see the next post. (That may not sound like much, but try counting out ten Mississippis in your head...)
