New bait options...

There are new fishing bait options available! Be sure to check out the Minnows at Johann's Trading Post as well. Now, there are a total of 3 items to help you earn XP in this area of the game.

How do eggs help earn XP?

Just because they are available if you run out of worms? Or does using eggs get higher XP than worms?

And who's going to run out of worms when you get 20 free worms every time you catch a halibut? - well guess that was a bug because it's not available now.

Ahh, the Fantasy/the Magic - dragons for pets, roosters that lay 3 eggs at a time, wolves that catch/eat fish as if cat or bear, free-standing composter that makes worms, bunnies that make wool..... and eggs (apparently in the shell) for fish bait.

Could be weirder.

...

From my experience with wasting my huge collection of eggs stocked up, the eggs seem to attract more higher rewarding fish like salmon and eels for the fishing level. Though I cannot say if that is why they were used as a bait, then all I can say is that it is not unusual for a fisherman to use strange baits in order to get a more satisfying result.

Not really...

I used about 25 five of my huge egg collection and guess what... only HERRINGS AND PERCH!!!! and I was fising in my farm (and then later salmon falls!) so yea I am really unlucky or eggs don't do anything diffrent from bait, (probobly both :P).

The chicken in the farm are not rosters. They do not have the right feathers. I have no idea where you commint on wovles came from. I do agree with the composter being odd. I should make somthing that speeds up plant growth. The bunnies making fur is a nice way of saying you kill and skin the rabbit, but because of their breeding you keep the same amount of aniamls. As to the eggs, i fish and have use deviled eggs as well as freash eggs as bait before.

Thank you for summing that up!

Silly me. It bothered me that the chicken's combs are rooster-sized, but you are right. They don't have rooster tails. And thanks for explaining about the bunnies. When I mentioned them to others, they just said, yeah they do that on Farmville too.

Quest - The Wolves are Coming!  Stated or implied - wolves catch and eat fish as their primary diet. In my area, wolves will roll on a dead fish when they find one, but it's not their usual source of food. Of course, just because I never heard of it, doesn't mean it's not possible.

Eggs...well, I should be quiet, play the game and not dwell on things like wouldn't you cook the egg first, or all this food grown but Viking never eats. LOL
