Easter!
Yeah, I'm almost late, (didn't even get on till now XD) Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter! (He is Risen!)
Do you guys have any Easter traditons? :3 We go to our grandparents and have a lunch then the younger family members search for eggs, so basically, it's just a reason to have a family gathering (I mean, we also go to church on Sunday morning, and I enjoy that too(If anyone wants to hear more about it let me know! :))
So yeah; just wanted to see what all y'all were doing this fine Sunday! :D
Happy Easter to you too. My family sat at home at a chocolate cake and let me and my sis play like three hours of SoD. Thats a pretty normal easter for us.
What is easter? What do you get from collecting eggs? Why do you guys celebrate it? Who hides those eggs?
Eggs are not sought here, they must be obtained by singing. The caroler sings the Easter song and gets eggs and sweets.
At least it was explained to me that it is celebrated from generation to generation.
My country is probably the only one that celebrates Easter like this, because all the other eggs are hiding and the children are looking for them.
Happy Easter to you too!
The tradition of our country, which is observed by almost everyone. Paint the eggs in different colors. From morning until 12:00 in the morning, carolers walk and knock on the door and start singing a typical Easter song. Subsequently, they get sweets and eggs (but someone gives money, alcohol, but mainly to adults) and they are given on wicker which have a ribbon of color so that when they walk down the street other carolers know that they were there and there. But if someone arrives after 12:00, a bucket of water will spill on them. That is our tradition. Strange, isn't it?
Happy Easter to you too! Most of my traditions just involve visiting family.
Happy late Easter from my part! Hope you all enjoyed it.
I was coming back from a trip, and we barely made it to mass. Talk about Fast and Furious. My dad had to help the father too lool.
I usually spend it with my cousins, but this year we only celebrated with the main family. It was nice to not see that one aunt who always questions why I don't have a boyfriend yet. :)
