Dune Carver; Requests
A medium-sized sand dweller, Dune Carver dragons forage for plant roots and vegetables along stretches of beach, shoreline shrub patches, and mangroves that they ferociously defend from intruders. When under threat, they prefer to flee than to fight but can use their horns and saber teeth to devastating effect in battle.
Rules and Stuff
- Form must be completed to get Dune Carver; items with * next to them are optional
- Infinite Reserve/WIP’s
- Markings are fully customisable, line art can be modified to an extent (scarring, accessories, etc.)
- While I can reference off HEX codes, it’s a bit of a process to use them and I’d ask that people avoid them please!

What is their motion, like, how do they move - bipedalism on the front limbs? Kind of a slither?
Do they burrow in the sand? Semi-aquatic?
You mentioned mangroves - are they a more temperate or tropical species?

Clarification on Marking customisation: I can draw any pattern on the base as long as reference or a good description is provided- it doesn't have to be the stripes that i scrawled randomly on to test shading. Side note that default markings has been cleaned up if anyone still wants them

I didn't do much flavour text on this species cause it was just a cleanup of an old design I had lying around, and I'm using it as a refresher before I release my bigger project. But just off the top of my head for ya;
Fire power is a small but powerful and sustained charge in the roof of the mouth that heats up the sabers, giving it a burning bite. Locomotion is a snake-like movement with the tail while also pulling themselves along with their arms. They bury themselves to rest, patrolling their territory during the day. When under threat, they can flee to water, or if the pursuer can also swim, can take to the air in short bursts of flight. Their habitat range favours temperate environments.
