Dragon Tactics Runestone
I am now able to play it (as in I can see my dragons XP, Viking, and see what items I get in the chest) on mobile! Not sure about PC, haven't been able to log in yet, and so far it is pretty challenging!!! The first and second level I had a hard time because I didn't realize I wasn't wearing armor and the dragons I used were level 20 and under lol I passed it once I put on armor and with a level 45 Titan Monstrous Nightmare and a level 49 Titan Scaudron on first level. Forgot what armor I wore though.
Now, I put this topic in Player Tips in case anyone wants to put in what they wore and dragons they used on that certain level! Please don't forget to put in the level of your dragons you used and weapons!
Thanks for letting me know. I had just sent a ticket about it yesterday for the second time.
I used tier 3 bewiderbeast armor (full set) and T3 legendary axe. I used a ridgesniper and galegash, both lv 48. The runestone levels are very interesting.
It's minimum recomended dragon level is 30 or something, so it does not disappoint.
Viking- level 50
Dragons- Mistmare(my Frightmare) level 37 Stormnado(my Deadly Natter)level 35
Just gonna talk about the 3 Runestone levels I do most of the time
(Note: My viking's level 50, so I tend to not worry about my viking as she can tank/crit/dodge a lot of enemies)
Armor:
- Boneknapper helmet
- Bright Stormcutter Chestplate (Fused)
- Bewilderbeast pelt
- Bewilderbeast bracers
- Bewilderbeast pants
- Bewilderbeast boots
- Bewilderbeast shield (Tier 3)
Weapon:
- Grimmel's crossbow (Gas/Healing as 3rd skill)
I love crossbows because you're basically a mini-dragon X'D
==============================================
I keep using Bonestormer because it has a long distance basic attack, 1 single powerful attack, and 1 AoE attack.
A lot of people recommend Titan Deathsong in Runestone as well, because of how there's so many enemies you're gonna face in this DT level.
The Lab
Dragon types you should use here: Long-distance attackers/ Gas and Wild
Recommended dragons: Zippleback/Zapplejack and Bonestormer
Enemies you should watch out for: Titan Deadly Nadder (Use a gas dragon to take them out)/ Titan Stormcutter (Aggros at long distance)
Strategy: Just single out the enemy vikings, but keep your eye on the titan dragon. Especially if you're facing the Titan Stormcutter. Then when all's said and done, just run to the switch with your viking.
Dragons that I've used here: Level 20+ Long distance attackers
Escape the Cave
Dragon types you should use here: AoE attackers
Recommended dragons: Deathsong and Slithersong (Literally finished this level with just 2 turns)
Enemies you should watch out for: Titan Crimson Gorecutter (You need a gas weapon for this one)/ Titan Deathgripper (Just ice em.), the 5 vikings at turn 3
Strategy: If your viking's a high-level like mine, you can pretty much solo the lone titan dragon guarding the treasure. But if not, you can opt for one long-distance attacker to aid you, and another as an Ao3 that will blast/stun the group of vikings at turn 3. After your viking collects the treasure, you can aid your dragons at taking out the group of vikings.
Dragons that I've used here: Level 13 Slithersong, Level 26 Titan Deathsong
Save the Village!
Dragon types you should use here: Gas and Wild
Recommended dragons: Zippleback/Zapplejack and Bonestormer
Enemies you should watch out for: Razorwhip titan (certain instances), pretty much all the vikings
Strategy: I find that most of the enemy vikings here dodges attacks often, so it's best to single them out. Or, have a sniper and a tanker. The scauldron that comes with this level to help you is actually pretty strong, so best to utilize this dragon as often as you can in attacking.
Dragons that I've used here: Level 22 Bonestormer, Level 24 Zapplejack
Ok, so I did every level with the same dragons and I must admit...I didn't think I wouldn't win. I used Titan dragons, of course, that everyone can get for free and/or purchase them with gold. So lets start with me first!
Viking level: 50
Armor: Might Bewiderbeast Helmet T2 Legendary, Mighty Bewiderbeast Pants T2 Legendary, Mightyy Bewiderbeast Boots T2 Legendary, Intense Odin's Storm T3 Legendary, Exquistic Sheild T3 Legendary, Groncicle Chest Plate T3 Epic (All of these are in DT Icestorm Island, good luck finding them!)
ENOUGH about me, lets talk about these levels and my Titan dragons!!!
The Lab level 1:
Gronkle level 40
Hidious Zippleback level 38
Escape the Cave! level 2
Gronkle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Dragon Racing level 3
Gronkle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Everyone for Themselves level 4 (I'll explain how I beat this level)
Gronkle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Scavenger Hunt level 5
Gronckle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Back on the RAcetrack level 6
Gronckle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Save the Village! level 7
Gronckle level 40
Zippleback level 38
Boat Graveyard level 8
Gronckle level 41 (Rockeater leveled up)
Zippleback level 38
Remember, I used the same Titan dragons that is super easy to get.
Now, let's talk about that cursed Everyone for Themselves. If you defeat the first round of the enemies, you usually get another dragon and Dragon Hunters, please remember that your Viking can ONLY defeat the Dragon Hunters, and your dragons can ONLY defeat the other dragons they are supposed to attack on the side they are on. On the second round destroy ONE Dragon Hunter and have your Titan Gronckle stay right beside the Dragon Hunter, your Gronckle has over 4k health and the Hunters damage is 100-600. As for your Zippleback, use their self charge (including the first round and stay hidden when you use it so the dragon doesn't attack your Zippleback they might lose their health!) When the second dragon appears have your Viking stand in between your dragon and the 'enemy dragon' because the Zippleback fire isn't...strong lol I have over 3k health so I'm alright taking two-three hits. If I get low on health I move out of the way and have Rockeater stand between them and he can take some of the hits if Skelan and Chris hasn't defeated the dragon yet. Once the Zippleback (or any of your titan dragons) defeats the dragon another dragon should appear and that is for the Gronckle. Rockeater defeated the dragon in two hits then I defeated the Dragon Hunter in one hit. Congraulations, you completed the blasted cursed level four and got all the chests! Yes, I lost three times but it was a lot quicker than when I first played that level lol
I highly suggest not to use these dragons when you pass this level. They don't do a lot of damage so its really slow. :/ But, this is proof that I can pass these levels with a Gronckle and Zippleback!
I hope this makes sense and good luck!
