Dragon Energy and Happiness Disappears

Sometimes (this happened to me twice, the first time yesterday and the second time today) when I complete a quest, my dragon's energy and happiness instantly depleats to nothing.  When it happened today, my dragon had about half energy and full happiness before I finished the quest.  As soon as I got out of the dialog box, I saw that my dragon's energy and happiness were gone.

I tried reloading the game, but my dragon's energy and happiness were still at zero.

I'm on a PC running Windows 7.  I use Mozilla Firefox that is on the latest version.

I'm having this same problem.

I'm having this same problem. I'll play with my dragon and feed it fish so both meters are full, but if I do a minigame or visit my farm for a few minutes, both his energy and happiness are at zero. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough.

same

i've had this happen to me multiple times just today. One just now after completing the fireball frenzy quest. It happened with my main profile on my account too. I just finished filling up both meters too. : (

Hm...

I am also having similar issues, but it's with Flight Club instead of Fireball Frenzy. I make sure both meters are full before I enter and, upon completing one or two events, I leave in order to check up on my dragon. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes both meters will be completely depleted with only one point left in the energy bar and none in the happiness bar. Thankfully, I've been making a point of carrying a load of fish and chicken eggs, so it's not too big of an issue to resolve. It's just weird how my dragon is suddenly moody out of nowhere like that.

And I have already message you my information, Brynjolf. I hope it helps!

I'm sorry Brynjolf, I know you that you know your job but, I noticed that what all these vikings have is  not a problem, I mean, everybody knows that playing Firball Frenzy, completing an event in Flight Club, and racing in ThunderRun, they all cost your dragon energy. And from my experience, when the dragon level up he loses all his energy and happiness.

After all, you're the admin here and you know better than me, but I just wanted to remind you :D

Thanks for looking out, Trainer M! You're absolutely right that an active dragon will deplete its energy and happiness although it's not supposed to happen when your dragon is idle or after leveling up. And huge drops when doing small activities is also an issue. We're just looking into it to be safe :)

I have this too, and yes,

I have this too, and yes, dragon's energy depeletes, but it doesn't go from like 34 to 0 in one go! Even more so with the happiness! (Then again I have a Monstrous Nightmare... They're supposed to be angry at you, lol)

I've also had this occasionally, but after fishing! My dragon could be like on say, 17 energy (which isn't enough for Thunder Run) and so ill go grab a few more fish fo rhim, i'll turn around and feed him and suddenly everything is flashing red! So i'm all "Ugh thank the gods I managed to censored some salmon".

I highly doubt the dragon is going to drastically lose energy in one go like that...

Dragon energy dropped from 34 to 0

I was collecting Kelp on the school beach for the Time for Togetherness quest. Once I'd collected the kelp (flying my dragon down to the beach) and returned to Astrid, she gave me the yaknog and my dragon's energy level suddenly dropped from 34 to 0. The happiness meter was unaffected. Any ideas?

I'm on a Mac with OS X 10.7.5. Thanks.

There have been some changes

There have been some changes around the game since this issue was first reported. Are you still noticing this problem with your dragon's meters? Check into the game and let us know. If the issue keeps coming up, we'd be glad to look further into it with our team!
