Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

"Reg."

The dark ginger introduced himself, seeming to he the only one at the table who wasn't actively hostile towards her or trying to avoid her.

"Reg." Lorelai purred his name in a sensual way, letting it roll off her tounge and knowing full well what she was doing. "I like that."

It did not seem like she was permitted to continue her flirtations as another voice interrupted her chat and Reg's attention was directed towards Herschell.
"Ha! A friend? Please!"

Lila visibly let out a loud sigh of audible exasperation. "Here comes the cavalry."

"You'd bite his head off if you could." Lynn continued.

"Oh.... I've bitten more than that." Lorelai mumbled with a sly smirk.
She turned her gaze to Herschell and scoffed as he was now choosing to ignore them and discuss... food? "Avoiding conflict as always I see." She murmured to no one in particular. "Coward." She hummed and slid off of the table, stopping as she came face to face with Lynn. Despite him standing a whole head above her, she did not seem all that intimidated. "Remove your person from my exit, please. I must take my leave of this sad little.... fashion disaster."

I'm flattered a celebrity such as yourself knows about the little o' me" he said " but nah, me and the girl. We may be bonded but it's anything but soft. Violeta Ungur/Heru the Daemon

Violeta was about to reply but yelped instead, someone jumping off their table and vaulting Aligerous. Seriously?! That person just TOUCHED another person's Daemon! Rude much!

"What was that all about?!" Violeta asked as Heru squawked in surprise and shifted to his silk moth form out of shock.

"Seriously!?" Heru cried, watching the other kid take off again

Just as some other teens rushed over, Herschell already began to run through a list of his goods. However, Reg was slightly distracted for a moment by the way the purple-haired girl echoed his name.

Reg wasn't sure how, but Lorelai had somehow managed to say his name in a way he'd never heard uttered before. He didn't even know the word could be said in such a manner, yet somehow the girl had figured it out in one go. The flirtatious follow-up did not aid in dampening the unwilling flush that lightly dusted his face.

"It's just a name," Reg shrugged, unsure how else to respond. As a punkish-looking male suddenly walked up and began picking a fight with Lorelai, Reg used the opportunity to answer Herschell, happy to get one step closer to lighting his fix.

"Usually use Bic, but anything will do for now." Reg said.

"Refillable. Remember?" Corsen piped up from the ground, earning a sigh from the teen.

"Zippo, then."

Kriivthi simply walked to the other side of the table as the purple haired girl pointed him out, still interested in the drama, just has no interest in participating in said drama. Lynn, his equally punkish dressed friend Amble, and Jesse, a girl who's clothes looked to have costed more than Kriivthi's entire wardrobe had all blocked the cat like teen from leaving.

"Psh, no wonder Hersh dumped you. So bossy" Amble sang. Herschell let out a short chortle as he listened to the drama sparking behind him.

"And such poor taste in style" the golden brown haired girl added, her tone condescending.

"Aight, as much as I 'love' a food fight, I think I'm cool with keeping my clothes clean today" Herschell chirped. Deciding to wrap an arm around Reg's neck and quickly lead him off back into the building. Explaining some other things he has for lighters and maintenance of said lighters.

Aurvang jumped off Kriivthi's back and into the sky to chase the other two birds around. Leaving the darkly dressed teen to reveal himself sitting beside Jach. Of course, Kriivthi immediately didn't like being visible, even if no one was looking at him. Lynn rolled his eyes then pinned a harsher glare on the lilac coloured haired girl before he side stepped out of the way with a patronizing smile and a teasing bow.

Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

Azul

"Whew that's creepy." Yagi mused with a low whistle. "I see im not the only one who do the homework. I'm flattered a celebrity such as yourself knows about the little o' me" he tone came across as taunting, something Azul did not acknowledge. "But nah, me and the girl. We may be bonded but it's anything but soft. Let's just say it's more like a petty long game."

"I am sure that is what you think." Azul responded mildly. While his tone gave no indication of it, it could easily have come across as patronizing.

His attentions were more focused on what was going down directly below them.

Lorelai, surrounded by enemies, was once again making a scene.

The foolish girl.

It was almost as though she liked getting in these situations.

Azul was always very much an advocate for Lorelai and Herschell's separation, but the two hormonal teens could not seem to keep away from each other. It was exceedingly tiresome to watch.

Furthermore,  they two had started multiple turf wars as a result of their respective groups over the years. Both were equally popular and equally matched. And Azul was getting far too old to continue to intervene.

Since she was in no real danger, he decided to take the back seat on this one. Let her learn her lesson the hard way.

"You're gonna want to see this." Azul mused flatly to Yagi. "The pique of human obstinance." If anything, his harsh words actually sounded slightly affectionate.  He did feel more kindly towards humans, but that did not mean he could not ridicule their behaviours.

Settling down, the butterfly prepared himself for the long haul.

Lorelai

"Psh, no wonder Hersh dumped you. So bossy." Another one of the punk kids jeered.

Lorelai merely placed her hands on her hips. "And who says he didn't like being told what to do?" A coy and very suggestive smile cracked on her lips as she tilted her head. Then she sighed. "You know. You really gotta watch what comes out of your mouth. I've been making suggestive jokes literally this entire time. And it's obvious you're not catching on."

"And such poor taste in style." Someone else added.

Lorelai shrugged. "To each their own." She replied passively,  not interested in allowing them the satisfaction of provoking a reaction from her.

"Aight, as much as I 'love' a food fight, I think I'm cool with keeping my clothes clean today" Herschell interjected.

"Or lack thereof." Lila mumbled as she watched him depart.

His friends finally moved from her path, bowing in a taunting way.

Lorelai merely smiled a queenly smile as she elegantly strolled by.

That's when the unspeakable happened.

Someone had SOMEHOW gotten a hold of... mashed potato? It looked like such a dish. The food flew through the air, whizzing by Lorelai and splatting unceremoniously on Amble.

Twisting her head around, Lorelai could not help but sigh in frustration.

Michael was leading the charge. Her entire posse was running towards them, probably under the assumption that Lorelai was some kind of damsel that needed rescuing.

It was almost embarrassing,  really. Lila had the capability to single handedly take down Herschell's whole crew if she so desired. Okay. That was a dramatic overstatement. But the point still stands. Not even dearest Hershey was aware of her combat skills.

Lorelai cursed loudly as her gang furiously stormed the area, launching food. Why couldn't they just listen?!

To be fair, most of the kids at the school were between the ages of 12 to 15, however, she still loathed such infantile behavior.

Yagi.

Oh Yagi didn't like that

"Quit projecting, oldman" He said, in the even tone. The annoyance carefree tone still masked the fact that it did bothered him

"You're gonna want to see this" said Azul, undetered " The pique of human's obstinance"

Yagi huffed at the fancy word and was a little hessitance at the invitition,  but eventually he crept forward to be next to  the tiny butterfly and follow his line of sight.

"What a waste of good food, Roku would have been furious" Speaking off, Yagi turned sligthy to look at where he last saw Roku and see that she's no longer there, well figured, but that's okay. He can leave her alone for now and track her down later via his shadow network. The girl doesn't like to be expose to light anyway so her creeping within the shadow work in his favor, stupid girl. Focus back on the little food fight, Frankly, Yagi doesn't care at all what other humans do but he's still interested in Azul so he commented "I do saw some similarity in our human though, albeit Roku's not at all confrontational. She has this habbit of running away from things a lot as much as running into things headfirst, letting the emotion get the best of her. I wonder if they could be friend, though I doubt it. It's more likely She would put your girl into her little k,ill lists"

There's a food fight now

"This is a school right?" Coronach mused, keeping a smile from crossing her lips as she watched some tension from afar, with the same showy boy.

"Honestly i'm not sure anymore-you got scissors right? In case there's a riot?" Aligerous asked, also trying to keep a smile from his horse face

"I keep a exacto knife with me," Coronach patted her bag "I don't think i'd like to go-"

SPLAT!

Something smacked Aligerous on the shoulder, coming from where some tension was arising and a food fight had now started. Her mouth dropped with shock at the childish, yet a little infuriorating, act.

While the Dæmon had just licked it off anyways, thankful it was mashed potatoes. He was a little angry that he was just praised for his lovely coat.

"Oh no we're in a school alright. A preschool." Coroanch slid under the table, trying to avoid the flying food.

Yes there is a food fight now XD Great first day of school

Amble growled as the victual landed on his shoulder, splashing into his face and entangling in his blond hair. The doberman dog at his side let out a deep growl and followed his human towards the food stand where he picked up a couple of cupcakes and sending them towards the flamboyant ginger. Jesse yelped and ran to hide under a table to avoid the flying parfeit, her snow leopard jumping over to the buffet in search of ammo. Grabbing sugary breads and yogart then bringing them back to his angryly shouting girl, who wasted no time in snatching the foods and aiming them at Lorelai's charging possy. Lynn simply crossed his arms and sighed, tilting his head towards the purple hair of the leader.

"Awe, how sweet, your friends coming to your rescue" He purred, giving the girl a forced smile.

Kriivthi jumped to his feet and made his way far from the commotion, teachers turning their heads and staring at the ordeal with blank faces. All the while the parents are staring and shaking their heads, some pulling their younger kids away, while others pushed their oldests into the fight.

Reg peeked back as he was shepherded away, impervious to the situation as he had no side in the feud. Food had started to get catapulted at the bodies of various persons and daemons, whether involved with a side or not. Reg supposed the only upside was that the event was happening outdoors so some poor janitor didn't have to clean off the walls and ceiling.

Corsen scrambled after the gingers, not wanting any stray food to mess up her lustrous ruddy coat.

"So how long has this war been going on?" Reg asked after Herschell and he had briefly discussed the lighters. By this point, the trio had ventured into the building and out of reach of the flyaway potato splatters. Despite not having gotten caught up in the crossfire, Corsen still shook her fur out as a dog might after coming in from being out in a light rainfall.

Herschell shrugged and glanced out the window, watching yogart and donuts fly.

"I'd say a little before we broke up I think? Few months-ish now? I don't remember honestly" He cooed, picking up his pace.

"I do know, however, it's mostly between our possy that the heat gets... out of hand. As you can see" He chuckled, gesturing to the courtyard.

"So, new here?" He chirped, pushing open the door to the stair case. Immeditatly getting distracted by a small thud on the nearby window where a glaring grey and orange lizard hung. Herschell let out a small chortle before letting the creature in.

"You left me you punk!" Maylandi snapped, lunging at the ginger's face and angerily slapping him. Although the small hands of the reptile didn't do much to Herschell, so he simply laughed and then continued to lead Reg up the stairs.

Lorelai

"Awe, how sweet, your friends coming to your rescue." Lynn taunted as an explosion of food rained over Lorelai's head.

Sighing, the older teenager crossed her arms. "Honestly, now is not the time, luv."

She yelped as a cupcake went flying past her nose. Doing a back hand spring to avoid it, Lorelai launched herself into the air, twisting on the palm to her hand to gain enougbn leverage to stick her landing on top of a table.

She was about to cast a smug look over to Amble when someone's peanut butter and jelly sandwhich smacked her right across the face, leading a smear of jelly along her cheek.

For a breif moment, the fighting ceased as eyes turned to stare at Lorelai in horror.

Lorelai slowly brought her fingers to her cheek. She wiped the jam off and brought her fingers to her lips, licking the sweet substance off her hands with a massive grin.

After realising that they were no longer in immediate danger of being possessed by a ticked off siren, the food fight resumed.

It was mostly the younger kids in Lorelai's crew who had started it. The ones who idolized her and followed her around like a lost puppy. The older ones knew to stay out of it and watched from the side lines in case someone got hurt.

Michael was tosisng bagels at Lynn and the others around him, screaming a war cry.

Lorelai had to flip off the table to avoid a stray bagel.

She crouched by the ground, quickly rolling out of the way of another cupcake.

Springing to her feet, Lila cartwheeled across the field, shifting into multiple back handsprings to avoid a lot of the food being aimed at her. She wasn't about to ruin her clothes or her makeup.

Retreating behind the building, Lorelai ran quickly at a tree.

She used the momentum to push herself off and twist in the air, grabbing onto the second-floor windowsill. Hoisting herself up, she quickly unlocked it and slid in, slamming the window closed as some more potatos mashed into the window where she had just been mere second before.

Panting, she leaned across the stairway railing.

"So how long has this war been going on?" She heard Reg's voice drift up from the bottom of the stairwell by the entrance.

"I'd say a little before we broke up I think? Few months-ish now? I don't remember honestly." herschell responded. "I do know, however, it's mostly between our possy that the heat gets... out of hand. As you can see. So, new here?"

Lila sighed, she lifted herself over the railings, perching pecariously on the edge. Then she jumped. Launching herself across the space, she grabbed onto a nearby hanging chandelier, using the momentum to swing over Reg's head before she let go and dropped to the first floor.

She gracefully rolled forward to minimize the impact, landing behind Herschell almost silently. A cat always lands on her feet, after all. If Lila noticed them, she gave no indication of it. Without even sparing a glance at them and completely ignoring them she rolled to her feet, dusted herself off and strolled down the corridor, an undeniable sway in her hips as she moved.

Azul

Azul remained completely silent all through Yagi's continious and perpetual ramblings. His focus was on the ensuing foodfight moreso than the chattering Tasmanian Devil.

"I do saw some similarity in our human though, albeit Roku's not at all confrontational. She has this habbit of running away from things a lot as much as running into things headfirst, letting the emotion get the best of her." Yagi continued on endlessly. "I wonder if they could be friend, though I doubt it. It's more likely She would put your girl into her little k,ill lists>"

"Hmm." Was all Azul replied to the poorly veiled threat.

He was an old and powerful dæmon, and was in no way intimidated. Nor did he particular seem to care.

Seeing that Lorelai was now seeking shelter and making her way into the building, he decided that it was time to go.

Without so much as a farewell, Azul raised his wings and took to the sky, circling high above the ongoing war beneath him to avoid being smushed by a flying bagel.

He drifted around the school, trying to figure out a way in. He flitted by a third-years dorm room, the window cracked ever so slightly and music loudly blaring from inside.

He slipped in, earning a loud screech from said third-year.

Completely undetered, Azul zipped through the room and into the main hallway.

Oooo, that's a lot to read

Jach leaned away from the girl's touch. He didn't particularly like physical touch, especially when it without his permission. Luckily she turned her attention to a newcomer soon enough and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Aaaaaaaand then a food fight began.

He ducked as bread roll cannoned over his head. This was... Not something he wanted to be in.

Following Kriivthi's example, and trail, he made his escape.

Sika darted all around the place they were, the parrot hot on his tail. He was quick and agile enough to stay out of her reach, except for when he bashed into a pillar trying to avoid that same bread roll.

Maylandi had disappeared when he looked back up, and so had his human. With a sigh, he lifted into the air, grabbed a carrot stick from the floor, threw it at an unsuspecting person, and went on search of Jach.

He may have participated in the fight a little though, if he had to admit.

Reg snorted when the conversation was interrupted by an angry lizard slapping Herschell across the face. However, despite the action, the lack of force behind the daemon's current form barely made a sound against the human's flesh, rendering the situation more humourous than threatening.

Before Reg could even say anything, he instinctively felt a human-sized force jump from overhead. The shadow cast by the individual only lasted for seconds, but Reg could feel the hair on the back of his neck stand up out of reaction to the small swish of unnatural air pushing past.

Reg whipped around, only catching sight of the purple-haired girl who'd they'd last seen in the courtyard only minutes before. Glancing up to the nearby window and comparing its placement to the swaying overhead chandelier indicated that Lorelai had used the lighting fixture as a makeshift swing.

"Apparently, women falling from the sky is a regular thing here, then." Reg scoffed, making sure his disgruntled tone echoed towards the retreating figure of Lorelai drifting down the hall as if she hadn't just performed acrobatics moments before. A honk emitted at Reg's side, Corsen having shifted into her flamingo form, her wings fanned out in alarm.

Herschell glanced back with a raised eyebrow before slightly hanging off the rail to peer at who Reg was talking about. Rolling his eyes as he noticed the shimmering purple swaying away.

"Nah, not women... Just witches" he chirped before prying his wandering eyes off the girl and continuing up the floors.

Aurvang shimmered out of sight as the food started flying below, raising his altitude while the green parrot noticed her human wandering away. Flipping around and flying along the building until she charged at a window and shifted to a lizard as she slammed into it. Focusing intently on something inside. Aurvang hummed to himself as he looked at the recovering crow, gliding over to his side after he dropped a carrot on someone.

"Where's your human?" He barked, looking around the faces below, more so the ones closer to the building, as he knew neither Kriivthi or Jach were very confrontational. Said human was slinking around the building walls avoiding breakfast foods and other sweets. Kriivthi tried to find a clear path to the building and away from the food fight.

Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

"Apparently, women falling from the sky is a regular thing here, then."

Reg's voice echoed after Lorelai.

The purple haired woman merely cracked a small smile as she continued to stroll. She was willing to let it slip, but then Herschell had to open his trap.

"Nah, not women... Just witches." He crooned, clearly with the intent to have her over hear.

Unable to stand for such an offence, Lila dramatically flicked her arm up above her head, flipping them off and not once looking back. "If you're not careful, dearest, I might turn you into a chicken... oh, wait." She paused, briefly to glance over her shoulder. "You're already a co.ck." blowing them a merry kiss, she continued on her way, strolling down the hall with a happy skip to her gait.

Lorelai turned the corner and guaged her surroundings.  Most of the kids were concerned with the foodfight that was still going on outside so the hallways were vacant, thankfully.

Pleased that as far as she could tell, no one was around, Lila began to Hum a soft tune to herself.

Not once did she break her aloof air as she sashayed down the winding corridors, heading towards the massive theater complex that was build separately from the man building, attached by a hallway.

She flushed her shoulder against the heavy door and pushed it open, breathing in a dee breath as she beheld the enormous, dark, and vacant room.

Light spilled in from the glass dome that crisscrossed in elaborate patterns over the roof, flooding in and down like a spot light.

Was she supposed to be here?

Probably not.

Did she care?

Definitely not.

A shadow fell over her face, luminescent blue wings skirted across the edges of her vision, causing a smile to cross her face.

"starting more turf wars, I see." Azul commented as he flickered down, spiraling towards her.

"Ah, Someone is talkative today." Lila countered with a grin.

Azul somehow managed to roll his eyes despite his current form.

giggling, Lila lifted her finger, allowing Azul to delicately perch upon it.

Humming softly, Lorelai made her way down the center aisle of the chairs, a skip in her step.  "I haven't started anything.  That was Michael." She sighed. "It's an embarrassment really. I could take down every single one of them if I wanted to."

"Yeah. Great idea. And expose your... extracurriculars?" Azul scoffed.

Lorelai returned the sound. "They wouldn't even remember if I told them not to."

"If I told them not to." Azul corrected gruffly.

Sighing,  Lorelai hoisted herself up onto the stage, turning her gaze to her dæmon. "Fine. You win. But I still didn't want this."

Drifting off her finger, Azul fluttered up into the catwalk above.

Jumping to her feet, Lorelai strolled after the Butterfly, heading towards the back of the stage.

Yagi.

Azul only made a dismissive thoughtful voice in response before the older daemon fluttered his wings and leaving unceremoniously. This too, slightly thrown Yagi off a little.

Truthfully, the whole thing was Yagi testing the water. Putting himself right next to the bogeyman; the potential threat and observe his reaction. The result was not as enlightening as yagi would have expected, a little disappointed really. Yagi walked out of it still not knowing what to think of Azul, if he really is a threat or allies. But if Yagi have to listed one thing it's that he personally doesn't like his vibe. There're the air of high and might Yagi want to personally drag it down and tear it apart himself. So although he doesnt painted Azul fully as the enermy for now, the young daemon can't help but wanting to have the last word as Azul leave, wheather if the older daemon heard it or not.

"You too better watch it oldman," he said, shadow eclipse his form fully and leave only a wicked grin "we may be on the neutral side of things now but if you stray to far low from the path my maw will be able to close around you and drag you down with it"

Satisfied, the shadow engulfed him fully and pull his form into it as thought sinking into some liquid before disappear entirely from the branches.

Herschell Reidri | Maylandi

Herschell slowed his pace as he heard the echo of his ex's last statement, rolling his eyes once more as he kept going. "Already a c.ock?" he breathed out, pushing the door onto the floor holding his room. "Guess we just figured out why she keeps crawling back to me then" He smirked to the ginger, then found his way to his dorm. Swiftly unlocking the door and leading everyone in.

His room was fairly big, however it was a fairly normal size for the school. The school only gets a few hundred kids a year, so most of the time each student has their own room. And a spacious one at that. Each room having a large bed able to hold an adult and a large dæmon, a dark coloured wooden desk that could be moved around to the person's liking. While a very small bathroom laid at the entrance with an open shower layout. Then, there was a small area left over for whatever the occupant wished to do with. Herschell filled this empty area with musical instruments and speakers and some room for Maylandi.  Which is where she jumped off the ginger's shoulder and landed as a wolf to lay down in her plushy bed. His walls were decorated in random band posters and schedule's for classes and other activities, while random miscellaneous clothes and books scattered the floor.

Herschell pulled a chair over to his closet and climbed on top, pulling down a large blue fabric bag and tossing it on his bed. Upon opening the bag, there was several random objects organized in several different clear bags. Keys, pens, jewelry, trinkets, paper weights, and of course lighters filled the bag. Pulling out a couple different handsized bags of a couple different types, then tossing them to Reg to go through.

Corsen stood with a shellshocked expression adorning her beaked face, top and bottom bill held agap upon hearing the humans' exchanges to one another. Reg only snorted at the female and other male's bickering. Corsen shook her elongated neck before hurdling up the stairs behind the two human males and the lizard daemon, her wings still held out slightly until she reached the next floor.

Stepping into the lighter ginger's room, the daemon gave the room a quick once over, attempting to discern the type of person he was beyond the limited conversation she'd overheard.

The room was not unlike Reg's in terms of layout; bed, desk, and a small bathroom. However, the place was also much more used, indicating Herschell having lived in the space for a length of time. Embellishments relating to music covered much of the wallspace, while most of the room's extra capacity was preoccupied with instruments. Reg did not have many such items dedicated to one hobby, too flippant to commit himself to a given area of interest.

The stray garments and books littering the floor were the closest aspect to matching Reg's own living style; her human had little control over maintaining a tidy room, much to Corsen's annoyance.

Herschell's daemon, whom Corsen hadn't caught the name of, morphed into a wolf, stowing down on what must have been her personal bed. Corsen personally often shifted into her flamingo form in the evening, standing on one leg to sleep by the window. She didn't mind sleeping in her other forms, but she never dared slumber near Reg in her red panda form, as the boy would complain about sharing the bed or would kick her off subconsciously (or so he'd claim the following day) at some point during his nightly flailing, anyway.

Upon hearing the sound of her human handling crinkly plastic, Corsen brought her attentiveness to Reg as he reviewed the small baggies that'd been retrieved from the nearby closet by Herschell. Corsen waddled closer, inspecting the goods with her bird form's side vision.

Reg discarded a few options immediately, continuing his perusal of the remaining two he held on to. The teen side-eyed his daemon with his piercing blue eyes.

"Why don't you offer your micromanaging like always to help me pick?" Reg flouted at his daemon, a cold smile playing on his lips after voicing his snide comment.

"Hmph!" Corsen harrumphed before turning away, her feathers ruffling on end and making her appear akin to an oddly shaped, puffy pillow. She bent her neck backward to groom the pink plumage back against her sleek, lithe body. "If you must, then either of those are the least offensive variety."

"I'll take this then," Reg ruled, placing the rejected lighter bag with the rest of the relinquished items.

Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

The velvet curtains caressed Lila’s skin as she moved past them, submerging herself in the darkness of backstage.

The only source of light was the glowing exit sign towards the back.

Pressing up against the handles to the door, Lorelai let herself into the backstage hallway, her heeled footsteps clicking through the barren hall. Taking an immediate right, Lorelai entered one of the dance studios, appraising herself in the floor-to-ceiling mirror which lined the walls of the room.

Lorelai made no effort to disguise the fact that this was a place she frequented on the regular. She had a bag stacked against the corner of the room as well as a training dummy she had lugged in a few weeks back. She had been using the space as sanctuary to de-stress and keep sharp. The light fixtures in the room had been busted for quite some time, leading the other classes to use one of the other studios instead which left this one rather vacant. Every time someone was sent to fix it, it mysteriously broke again. Which may or may not have been Lila’s doing.

Humming once more, Lorelai set to work. She slid her wedge heeled boots off her feet, padding barefoot over to her bag where she pulled out a change of clothes.

Running her fingers through her silken purple tresses of hair, Lorelai pulled it up and off her neck, fixing it into a high ponytail with a silver butterfly hair tie.

Lila exchanged her pumps for pointe shoes, wrapping the delicate straps up her calves and fastening the apparel onto her foot.

Rising to her feet, Lorelai strolled over to the barre, kicking up a leg over it. Bending over the appendage, Lila began to warm herself up.

“So, Azul.” Lorelai hummed pleasantly as she switched legs. “What do you have for me?”

The blue butterfly drifted downwards, landing on the barre about half a metre away.

“There are 5 new students. Roku, Violeta, Conorach, and you’ve met Jach, and Reg.” Azul reported. “Kriivthi has been here a few months as of now.”

Lila whistled, impressed by her dæmon’s memory and observance. “Kriivthi?”

“The disappearing kid.”

“Oh! Casper!” Lorelai giggled. “He seemed nice.”

“You haven’t spoken to him.” Azul stated flatly.

Lorelai shrugged, switching her position on the barre.

Sighing, Azul continued. “As far as I can tell, Conorach possesses some kind of invulnerability.”

“You mean the kid who jumped out of the tower this morning?” Lorelai mused.

Azul merely nodded.

“I’d jump out of a blimp if I had that kind of power.” Lila chuckled, rolling forward to press her palms to the floor.

Azul sighed. “I am not remotely surprised. Reg has the ability to control the quantity of objects.”

“Oh! So, if I befriend him, are you saying that I can get unlimited booze?” Lorelai chirped.

Azul sighed yet again. “No.”
“I don’t see why not.” Lorelai wrinkled her nose as she placed her ankle on the lowest bar. She slid backwards into her oversplits, gingerly grabbing her back leg and pulling it up towards her head. She pressed her foot against her head, leaning into the stretch.

“Then there is Roku. I am not sure what her abilities are but her dæmon appears to be able to manipulate shadows.  The pair come from the streets.” Azul continued, ignoring Lorelai’s comments. “Yagi is very much misled and full of a special kind of hatred. He knew me.”
Lorelai glanced up at Azul with a concerned expression. She pushed herself to her feet and switched legs, now stretching out her bad side in the same way.

Azul fluttered his wings ever so slightly. “It is not often I get recognised. I thought I had finally faded into legend. Apparently I assumed incorrectly.” Then he continued on. “Violeta spelled out all of her abilities for me. The girl hails from a culture that respects dæmons and sees them as gifts from the gods. Her dæmon, Heru, possesses psi navigation, light manipulation and muscle adaptation. And they like bread. They really like bread.”
“Sounds like that one is a talker.” Lila chuckled as she rolled onto her belly, arching her back.

“You have no idea.” Azul scoffed.

Lorelai grabbed onto her ankles, moving her feet to her head. As annoying as her dæmon could be, she was thankful for Azul’s general disinterest in interaction and preference for observation. He was very sharp and has a memory that was surprisingly accurate. Hardly anything escaped his attentive gaze. “Is that all you’ve picked up on?”
“All?” Azul scoffed. “That’s more than you notice in an entire month.”
“Touche.” Lila giggled, pulling herself to her knees.

“Well, there is one more thing.” Azul stated. “And I cannot say I have quite figured it out.”

“Oh?” Lila’s eyes lit up with interest.

“Kriivthi's dæmon, Aurvang, got hurt in the fight. And Kriivthi had a very visceral reaction.” Azul hummed.

“So? Maybe one of his abilities is empathy.” Lorelai shrugged as she rolled to her feet. “Or maybe he just cares about his dæmon and doesn’t want to see it get hurt.”

“Maybe.” Azul responded.

“Either way, none of them sound like they pose any kind of threat.” Lorelai pranced on the balls of her feet towards the speaker in the room. “And I want to train.”
Slipping a disc into the speaker, Lorelai selected her song.

((This took me so long to write, I had to go back through the beginning of the roleplay and read through every single one of y'all's posts after Lila showed up with Azul so I would not be metagaming. I also learned in this endeavour that we collectively use the word "yelp" a lot.))

‘That's what I'm looking for...’ Sika replied. He swooped down and snatched a grape from a table, then flew back up to Aur's level. ‘Where's yours?’

Jach was, in fact, hiding behind the food stand. Not the best place to stand when food was the ammo, but it was so far good enough. He'd lost of Kriivthi on his dodging journey across the battlefield and was now searching for him. Always trust Kriiv to find a better hiding spot...

A slice of ham slapped him across the face and he sputtered a curse. DEFINITELY not the best place to stand. He edged along the wall away from the chaos, making his way to the grassy area where there were fewer people.

Herschell | Maylandi - Kriivthi | Aurvang

Kriivthi slinked near the wall then started quickly climbing said wall, perching on a hall way roof while the kids below continued their immature brawl. His sight first went to the contrasting flying dæmon's, then his gaze started scanning the area below for the teen that appeared to have lost him in the scene. Catching the dark haired teen making his way to a near vacant grassy spot, he stood and started walking down the low hanging roof towards his friend. Making a couple clicking noises as he walked. Aurvang kept looking in the large of group of kids until he heard a series of different toned clicks echoing from the roof off to the side.

"Walking on top of the school apparently" He chirped, partially folding a wing and turning to glide over to his human. The teachers had started walking over and pulling the children apart while others had started taking the food inside. The two possy's were pulled apart and brought inside to see out a detention for causing the scene. However, food still found its way into the sky every so often after.

Herschell patiently waited as he watched Reg and his dæmon shortly bicker before he chose. Collecting the rejected bag and returning his loot to its hiding spot.

"Sweet, well if you don't need anything at the moment, shall we get back to the food fight?" he chirped, holding the door open for Reg with a smug smile.

Violeta Ungur/Heru the Daemon

Violeta groaned and took cover as the food fight started. She did not want to get in trouble before she even registered for classes! Ugh! WHY were teenagers so childish sometimes?! She glanced between Heru, Aligerous and Coronach as they joined her under the table.

"They're worse than the clan kids sometimes. Trust me on this. When they get started on a food fight, we use raw fish to hit each other. I've been thwacked with everything from salmon to cod!" Violeta commented and Heru laughed.

"And you've done your fair share of the fish thwacking yourself!" The now silk moth daemon commented, perching on her scarf that held back her bushy coppery brown curls

Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

Clicking 'play' on the speaker, Lila hurried towards the middle of the room as the static crackled through the air.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RYqQVLnrzLshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYqQVLnrzLs

Starting in the 5th position, she slid into 4th, extending a leg fully up in a développé. Keeping in beat with the music, Lorelai repeated the process onto the other leg. Raising up onto Pointe, she performed a tight pirouette spin.

"Keep your back straight." Azul critiqued from the barre.

Grunting her annoyance she extended her back leg behind her, arching her back. She grabbed a hold of her ankle and pulled her leg flush against the back of her head in a needle position, demonstrating an impressive display of flexibility.  Bending at the knee, she was able to touch the top of her foot to her head.

Closing her eyes, Lila pinpointed the rising tension in the song. She took a deep breath and let go of her leg.

Using the momentum of her leg snapping back down, she aerialed into the training dummy, her foot connecting with the rubber face of the fake person. She pushed off it, flipping backwards. Unfortunately, she was unable to stick the landing and fell to her knees.

“Focus!” Azul scolded.

“I’m trying.” Lorelai gritted her teeth and launched herself into a back handspring.

Her feet moved in unison to the beat of the song, never once going off pointe as she danced around the dummy, her limbs striking against it. Despite it being combat training, she fought in a way that looked more like an elaborate dance.

Flipping backwards, Lorelai grabbed a hold of the shoulders of her dummy and fan-kicked her legs around its head, situating herself squarely on its shoulders.

She was then able to fall to the side, bringing her target down with her.

Hitting the ground, Lorelai rolled forward and gracefully to her feet.

Slowly she rose up, bringing each arm elegantly out to her sides. Following the gradual swell of the music, Lila raised her arms above her head, stepping into 5th position once more.

The song began to build and Lila followed that tune, leaping and spinning in the air as she gracefully waltzed around the studio.

Raising onto a single pointe, she began to spin. The sleek wooden floors allowed her to build more and more momentum as spun faster and faster.

Then as the song broke into a crescendo she leapt forward, bending one leg back and sticking the other straight forward in a flying kick impactful enough to send the dummy flying across the room.

She went soaring over the dummy, and tucked in her chin to roll forward. Unfortunately, she hit the ground wrong which sent a jarring flare of pain rolling up her shoulders.

Lila still completed the roll, popping up to her feet as she glanced at where the training figure had crashed into the adjacent wall.

Grinning, Lorelai sprung forward, flipping off the palms of her hands to stick the standing on pointe, raising her arms in the air as though bowing to an imaginary audience.

Her face glistened with sweat, the sides of her hair sticking against the back of her neck, her chest heaving as she struggled to catch her breath. She glanced over at the training dummy with a sadistic twinkle in her eyes.

At least she was no longer imagining Herschell's face on that silly thing.

See?

Personal growth and improvement.

"In a real fight, you would have been brutally murdered." Azul put simply. "You don't have time to go peacocking around in order to show off your leaps."

Pouting, Lila drew a peal of laughter from her lips. "In a real fight, I would have already won."

Azul did not respond to the girl's haughtiness.

Returning to the bar, Lila one again began to stretch. Now that her muscles were warm, she could go deeper into it without risking an injury. She had torn muscles many times trying to be perfect for Miss Stanton. It was a painful and grueling process that set her back weeks.

"Do you think I should pay bread girl a visit?" Lila hummed.

"Violeta." Azul corrected.

"Yeah. That's what I said. Bread girl." Lorelai grinned.

Azul rolled his eyes, clearly regretting telling her that particular anecdote.

"I can steal some cinnamon rolls from the cafeteria and give her a basket." Lila purred. She lowered herself into her middle splits, pressing her chest to the floor as she rolled onto her stomach.

Azul once again did not respond, instead choosing to gaze at her with what Lila suspected was indignation.

Roku returns, also Yagi was there

Yagi found Roku not long after, holing up in the vent as usual. The girl was on the move but doesn't seem to be too motivate by any task, Possibly just surveying her way around as per usual.

"Yo" Yagi greeted, barely earn any acknowledgement from his person "Miss me?"

Roku gave him a cold shoulder, just like Azul did but the former is to be expected more from the time they spent together. Similar to what that just happened a few minutes ago, Yagi took it upon himself to be the chattering one of the two

"The courtyard is having fun without you" He poked and proped with his words, still no reaction.

It was then a faint song can be heard through the vent. A lot of sound can be heard through the vent system really, which is why it's a perfect passage way for the likes of them...well too much sound do bothered Roku a lot and the sounds can be mix up horribly at the time. Thankfully, this time despite the warzone that's been going on in the courtyard, the faint song seems to take the center stage this time. Roku and Yagi follow them until they found and exit and...

oh...

Roku seemed to have found herself in the ventalation systems of the theather somehow and Yagi teleported to her without knowing where they were or would the ventalation systems already connect to the main building? Yagi can investigate that later but right now the problem(?) at hand being that right out side the vent down below, at the vacnt stage are Azul and his girl.

And if Yagi is being honest, he's not in mood to meet Azul again, not because he is a threat but it's Yagi's flare and showman ship that said 'You just leave him with that cool last word, meeting him again so soon right after would be so lame!'

Surprisingly, Roku doesn't creep forward to look at the spectacular, instead she took her eyes off the the dancing form, retreated back deeper into the vent and lean against the wall through the limited space where she curled up in the fetal postion. She seems content to just listen to the song.

It's the different song. Too wild. Hers are softer.

...Is probably What Roku is thinging. The girl probably reminiscent and wallow in her regret right now, good. Yagi thought, decided that he wouldn't risk being in such close aproximity with the all knowing all poweful daemon this soon, so weighting this option he decided to let all of them be and retreated away into the shadow, leaving Roku all alone again.

A few minute after, the song from the old record player's being turn off and the pair that occupied the stage's likely make their leave, but Roku made no move even as everything fell into silence around her.

Neveah | Drishti

Neveah took a deep breath, feeling the reassuring weight of the snake wrapped around her shoulders, and then pushed open the door and set foot in the hallway.

She had spent the whole morning memorizing her rooms, committing surfaces and distances to memory so she could navigate them without Drishti’s help. As much as she appreciated it, she liked a little autonomy at least in her own quarters. So she could go to the bathroom in the middle of the night on her own, for example.

Drishti didn’t particularly like it, but he knew her well enough by now to know arguing would get him nowhere. So he perched passively on her bed for most of the morning, keeping an eye on her progress and occasionally giving a sharp warning when she was threatening to hit her head or stumble and fall. He hadn’t felt the need to physically intervene though, which she counted as a not-so-minor victory, considering his protectiveness. They were getting better.

But now that she could more or less find her way around her rooms, that left a whole sprawling school compound. And that, she definitely needed Drishti for.

Sensing she was ready to go out, the magpie flapped the short distance from the bed to her shoulder and changed forms, turning into the long snake he usually was. He wound himself around her shoulders in familiar loops, allowing him to steer by squeezing certain parts of his body. She found the door without his help, then closed it and stood still for a moment, allowing her other senses – hearing, smell, and most importantly the vibration-sensing their bond granted her – to collect information about her surroundings and decide where to go.

Right now, all those senses collectively pointed to activity to her left. Neve smelled a very faint scent of freshly-baked bread, along with the vibrations of people walking and running down there. And if she listened closely – but she was never sure if that was her doing or Drishti manipulating the sounds just a little to help her – she could even hear voices.

“Left it is,” she said aloud, although she knew Drishti had gleaned her decision from her body language already. She could feel the gentle pressure around her left shoulder and turned until it stopped, signalling the walkway lay straight ahead.

Neveah had long since learned to balance in the darkness, so her walk through the hallways was confident, if careful. It took her down a few turns, not running into anybody, vibrations, smells and sounds getting stronger all the way.

Too strong, as a matter of fact. She stopped at a corner, placing a hand on the wall and frowning. Through it she could sense…impacts? Vibrations not normally associated with breakfast, she knew that much. She debated going on for a second, before turning her head towards Drishti’s. “Go look?” she suggested quietly.

She felt him tense for a moment, as his thoughts warred between not wanting her to walk on into an unknown and potentially dangerous situation and leaving her here, however briefly. Neveah waited patiently, knowing he didn’t appreciate her trying to force him into a choice, and that patience was rewarded when he breathed a soft “Alright.”

She pressed her hand a little harder against the wall, grounding herself as she felt him change forms. Then the quick push against her shoulder as he took off and the sound of his wings flapping growing fainter.

Neveah waited for a few minutes, feeling strangely vulnerable without the familiar presence of her dæmon on her shoulders. Blinder than ever, shot through her mind, and she shook her head to get rid of the thought, resisting the urge to squeeze her eyes shut because that wouldn’t do anything anyway. She wouldn’t trade Drishti for anything, not even her sight back, but sometimes she got this chest-squeezing longing to just see. Just a quick glance, to remind her what the world looked like. She knew she would forget, or that her memories would distort, her mind filling in blanks, and she wouldn’t know if the colour green she remembered after three years of not seeing it was still the actual true colour.

It hurt, sometimes. As much as she tried to not let it.

The sound of wingbeats approaching pulled her out of that spiral before she could get too far down in it. Neve shook her head in annoyance. Drishti was supposed to be the one who got lost in his thoughts at times, not her. She tried to chalk it up to her change in circumstances, from her home where she knew every square inch to here, but wasn’t sure how true that was.

Drishti landed on her shoulder and immediately turned back into a snake, possibly sensing her faster heartbeat. She could feel it slowing down as the familiar weight settled again. “Food fight,” he reported without having to be asked. “Or the aftermath of it. Seems like the worst is over, but there’s still some morsels flying around.”

“Hmm. Too much?” she asked, knowing his answer before he gave it: “Too much.” She wasn’t keen on entering an unfamiliar space that had flying objects in it. That was one situation where sight was rather instrumental. “Guess breakfast will have to be postponed. Let’s go exploring then.”

She walked on without a fixed direction, wandering through hallways with Drishti only making sure she didn’t run into walls or dead ends. She trusted him to remember the route for when they had to get back, only focusing on the winding corridors ahead. Not sure how long it had been when Drishti suddenly spoke up: “Separate building. Heading towards the connecting walkway.”

Neveah didn’t break her stride. “Forbidden to enter?” Not that she would let that influence her decision to go there or not. She could always say she hadn’t seen any warning signs. And that wouldn’t even be a lie.

“No.”

“Any idea what kind of building?” she asked, although she knew Drishti would have said if he did. He did too, judging from his lack of response apart from a flick of his tail. She smiled.

She kept on walking, the sounds and vibrations of the main building growing lesser, until she felt the snake give her shoulders a short squeeze, making her stop abruptly even before her brain had fully processed it. “Door on a crack inward,” Drishti explained.

Neveah reached forward, feeling the rough surface of the door and pushing until she felt it move, slipping through the formed opening and returning it to its former position. She could hear from the echoes of her footsteps that she was in an open space, which was confirmed when Drishti said “Theatre.”

Neve hummed in acknowledgement, standing still and taking in her surroundings. There was no one in this room, save for a few mice, but she could hear a faint trail of music coming from somewhere up ahead. She said as much to Drishti as she moved towards the stage, trusting him to keep her from hitting any of the chairs on the sides of the walkway. Following the music lead her up the stage and off it, and then carefully picking her way through the backstage hallways.

The music stopped, but by now she was close enough to feel the vibrations of whoever put it on and followed those. By the time she found the right door, she could hear a melodic female voice chattering about…bread? Neve focused, but she could only sense one heartbeat, so who was she talking to?

Quietly, she pressed her hand against the door and took a moment to check again. No – two heartbeats. But one very soft and different from a human or indeed a mammalian one. Not a reptile or amphibian either…insect? A person and their dæmon, in any case. And…someone else. Two someones, somewhere above her, sending out vibrations with an odd echoish quality. Up in the vents? If they were there, they probably weren’t interested in company, so she decided to leave them be.

She could feel the vibrations of the girl’s? woman’s? movements as well, but those puzzled her too. If she had to guess, she would say she was doing some kind of gymnastics, but she didn’t have enough experience with such activities to pinpoint exactly what she was doing.

Well, I’m certainly not going to find out by standing here. She resolutely pushed the door open just a bit, sticking her head around it and politely asking: “Hey, sorry to intrude. Would you mind if I waited out the food fight in the courtyard here?”

Reginald Eason Pierce | Corsen

The teen debated the potential of getting hit by stray food while getting his smoke in. He decided to take his chances with the former in favor of the latter.

Reg nodded once to Herschell. Corsen stepped out of the room first, her feathers finished having smoothened down once more. She dashed over to a nearby window set into the hallway, surveying the courtyard setting below. Reg also peeked through the glass in passing. From what he could tell, the food fight had been brought primarily under control by the school faculty.

"Thank gods," Corsen murmured, mostly to herself. "I haven't a clue why humans make up such games."

"Says the one who was playing with her food earlier," Reg sniggered in passing.

"I..." Corsen began to speak but seemed to not have a way to combat the backing Reg's statement maintained.

Reg paused right before descending the staircase, not without casting a quick scan across the overhead windows where Lorelai had seemingly jumped from earlier.

"Chandelier is all clear," Reg called back at the others before leaning against the beginning of the wooden railing. He slightly shifted upwards, before sitting atop the fixture. Only held in place against gravity for a moment due to his hands clinging to the undersides, letting go allowed his body to effortlessly scale down alongside down the stairs, only once again helping himself slow down near the bottom.

Corsen sighed at the redhead's antics, knowing it was more due to laziness of not wanting to bother walking down the stairs than anything of daring. The flamingo flapped her wings long enough to lift her body into the air and glide her down to the lower floor behind the human.

Lorelai -18- |Azul -Dæmon-|

“You need to continue to train.” Azul replied after a moment of pause.

Lorelai melodramatically groaned.

Azul chose once again to ignore her. “Three minutes is not going to do anything for you.”

Huffing, Lorelai rolled out of her splits backwards, pushing up into a handstand. Walking on her hands, she waddled over to where the training dummy had collapsed on the floor. Lila cartwheeled onto her feet and plucked it off the ground.

“You leave your left side undefended.” Azul observed. “Remember to cover it.”

Lila wrinkled her nose at her dæmon, grabbing a hold of the dummy over her shoulder. Without breaking spiteful eye contact with Azul, she hoisted the dummy over her side and rolled it across her back, slamming it into the wooden floor. Straightening her back, she placed her hands at her hips and regarded Azul passive aggressively. “I can do this all day.”

Azul sighed as he fluttered off the barre, flitting across the room and perching on top of the record player.

Lila hummed taking on a more musical tune with it.

Hey, sorry to intrude. Would you mind if I waited out the food fight in the courtyard here?”

The voice caused her to tense, her head snapping over in the direction of a new comer. Someone she did not recognise. A new student perhaps? But she could not have been out in the courtyard, otherwise Azul would have spotted her.

A small brown-haired girl stood in the doorway, a snake wrapped around her lithe frame. She gazed in Lorelai’s direction with blank, glassy eyes.

Initially, alarm wormed its way through Lorelai’s skin, prickling in gooseflesh around her arms. She could not allow herself to be seen in her current state. Her skin slick with sweat, her hair messy and disheveled. She had never allowed anyone to gaze upon her like this. But that alarm faded when she took closer notice of the girl’s eyes.

Was she blind? It seemed that way.

But blindness was a spectrum, so to what degree?

Lorelai started forward, flipping over her palms as she did a front handspring, landing by the girl’s side.

They were about the same height, it appeared. With Lorelai being a couple centimetres taller.

“Oh, sure thing, hun. The kids out there can get a bit rowdy.” She cooed as she inspected the new student. “My goodness, who gave you that outfit?” Genuine sorrow laced her voice as she walked around the poor girl. She did not speak in a patronizing way, nor did she sound teasing. She genuinely seemed distraught by what Neveah was wearing.

Azul, meanwhile, kept his attention on the girl’s daemon. He waved his antenna at the creature, trying to get a feel in the air around him. While his senses were sharp, it was not to the extent that he would be able to sense Roku in the vents so the girl’s presence was left undetected.

Maylandi trotted out after the two and Herschell closed his door behind him, following the other ginger to the stairs.

"Chandelier is all clear," Reg announced before letting himself fall over the edge, his dæmon rolling her eyes before she glided after. Herschell looked over the railing with a curious gaze while the other teen made his way down.

"I like this guy's style" Herschell chirped before he followed suit, the wolf shaking her head.

"You only say that cause he seems like a mirror of you" She mumbled before shifting to a parrot and diving down.

Neveah sensed the girl’s heartbeat jump for a moment, but attributed that to her surprise entrance. She then felt a series of confusing vibrations, ending with a tremor and an audible thump as the girl landed next to her. The unexpected movement made her flinch, which caused Drishti to tense up and bare his fangs protectively, hissing softly.

“Oh, sure thing, hun. The kids out there can be a bit rowdy,” the girl sang, before her voice dropped in horror. “My goodness, who gave you that outfit?”

“That would be him,” Neveah smirked, jabbing a thumb at Drishti, who dropped his threatening display in favour of a sheepish look, tense coils loosening. She shrugged. “Don’t worry about it. I don’t, it’s not like I can see it anyway.” She gave the girl a friendly grin for good measure. People tended to awkwardly tiptoe around her blindness, especially at first, and she wanted to get that out of the atmosphere as soon as possible.

Lorelai merely kept up a friendly expression, despite the snake's hissing warning.

“That would be him,” the new girl commented wryly, as she gestured to her dæmon. "Don’t worry about it. I don’t, it’s not like I can see it anyway.”

"Yes, of course a dæmon does not have a fashion sense." A pleasant giggled spilled from Lila's lips. Her tone dropped ever so slightly. "Oh, but dear. Beauty is power." She cooed, tilting her head. "Ah! Excuse my rudeness. My name is Lorelai. But I much prefer to be called Lila. My dæmon's name is Azul."

Azul fluttered over, gently landing on top of Neveah's forehead in greeting.

Lila took a few steps back. "You'll have to excuse him. He doesn't talk much." She purred in her usual tone.

"hmm." Came Azul's gruff reply. His voice still resoundingly deep for such a little thing as a butterfly.

Neveah tilted her head, focusing her misty gaze on where she estimated Lila’s eyes were. “Who said I wanted power?” she asked, tone dropping somewhere low and serious. Then she straightened up again and smiled cheerfully. “I’m Neveah, Neve for short. The apparent fashion disaster is Drishti. Nice to meet you two.”

Drishti let out a short warning hiss just before the air stirred and something landed on her forehead. “You'll have to excuse him. He doesn’t talk much,” Lila hummed, moving a few steps away.

“Hmmm...butterfly?” Neve asked Drishti quietly, who squeezed lightly in confirmation before raising his head and flicking his tongue at his fellow dæmon.

“Hmm,” Azul rumbled, the sound vibrating through her skull, surprisingly deep for such a small and light animal.

Lorelai scoffed, taking a liking to Neve's sense of humour.  She daintily extended a finger and allowed Azul to drift off of Neveah and onto her fingertip. Smiling, she brought her hand to her head and Azul settled down in Lorelai's hair as though he were a living hair clip.

"Well, I suppose it is good to make your acquaintance, Neve." Lorelai strolled over to where she had thrown the training dummy, picking it up and pushing it across to another corner of the room and out of the way. She headed back over to the music player and flicked through the disks. "So, Neve, if you don't mind my asking, what can you do?"

The butterfly was removed from her forehead and Lorelai strolled away into the room, eventually stopping. She started making a series of sharp tapping sounds Neve couldn’t immediately place, until Drishti whispered “Music disks,” into her ear.

“So, Neve, if you don't mind my asking, what can you do?”

Neveah walked after her, stopping in the middle of the room and sitting down cross-legged. Despite knowing it likely wasn’t what Lila meant, she began with: “Read, do math, enjoy the outdoors…take your pick. Though there are some things I prefer not to do, such as stroll through an area containing airborne food, which is why I ended up here.”

“However, if you’re referring to what Drishti lets me do, I’d say the main thing is vibration detection. Which is why I’m going to request you to put on something soft, if you must. The louder the music, the stronger the vibrations it gives off, which makes it a lot harder for me to sense the ones not caused by it.”

Sometimes she liked that effect, but only in familiar places where she was comfortable giving up most of her perception. A backstage room in a vacant theatre with a person and dæmon she’d met all of three minutes ago did not fall in that category. Not to mention the unknown presences she could still sense in the vents above them.

"Read, do math, enjoy the outdoors…take your pick. Though there are some things I prefer not to do, such as stroll through an area containing airborne food, which is why I ended up here.” Neve replied rather smartly.

Once again, Lorelai found herself laughing. Clever kid.

“However, if you’re referring to what Drishti lets me do," Neve contined, "I’d say the main thing is vibration detection. Which is why I’m going to request you to put on something soft, if you must. The louder the music, the stronger the vibrations it gives off, which makes it a lot harder for me to sense the ones not caused by it.”

"Huh." Lorelai paused for a moment and turned to gaze at Neve. That was definitely something new. Which meant that the girl could likely track all of her movements regardless of how stealthily she was moving.  "Then I won't." She set the disk aside and joined Neve on the floor. She wouldnt be caught dead sitting cross-legged so Lila opted to bring both legs to one side of her body, sitting neatly with her hands folded in her lap. "As for me, I sing." She offered rather cryptically with a grin.

Azul scoffed at that understatement but offered no further contribution to the conversation.

Lila stilled as she explained her shared power, though Neve couldn’t tell what might be flitting across her face. Drishti probably could though, and if it was anything strange or important he’d tell her later.

“Then I won’t,” Lorelai said, earning a smile from Neve. She moved over and sat down across from her, though the uneven distribution of the vibrations led her to believe Lila probably wasn’t sitting cross-legged like her. Drishti slid off her shoulders to stretch out on the floor, long body sweeping out and his head on her lap.

“As for me, I sing,” Lila announced, and Neve could practically hear the grin in her voice. Azul scoffed from somewhere in that same direction.

“I don’t suppose I could ask for a demonstration?” Neveah responded, curious to see what Lila would do now that she’d taken her bait.

“I don’t suppose I could ask for a demonstration?” Neveah responded curiously.

"You could." Lila briefly appeared takenaback, before a sly smile spread across her features. "But are you sure that is what you wish?" She practically purred the words.

While she had no ill-intentions towards Neveah, Lorelai rarely allowed herself to sing for another person she was on friendly terms with. As a matter of fact, she has been unable to sing with practically anyone since Azul showed up. it was something she really struggled with initally as it had always been her dream to become a singer. Now she could no longer do that without drawing the entire audience onto the stage. It would dissolve into mayhem. Furthermore, she feared that someone would record her voice and weaponize it.

She smiled slightly, wondering how far Neve's curoisty would take her.

"Rowdy is an understatement." Coronach muttered, coming back up from under the table after the food fight d.ied down. "And my parents thought I was reckless!" she laughed

"If I offered to knock down the wall surrounding us, I bet you would say yes in a heartbeat." Aligerous cooed, shifting back to raven form to avoid becoming another person's gymnast tool.

"I mean yea, this school is a little sufficating don't you think?" she tipped her head, looking to Violeta knowing that the girl probably felt the same. She did come from some other world, without walls and regulations on Dæmons. So being here must be a little underwhelming. She sat back a bit and looked to the sky "I find it stupid you guys can't become dragons, or gryphons or something big that flies."

"I do agree, it would make it less obnoxious to buck you off everytime i'm about to ram through a wall."

"Did you say ram through a wall?"

"Oh right, going fast makes me stronger," Aligerous mentioned lazilly, like this wasn't the reason they had been sent here-so much damage on that day. It was a little funny though.

Violeta had to giggle at the interaction between her new friend and her Daemon. She could see them being friends even in this walled in place. With her family, there were no walls aside from the ones they used for shelter on their ships. Even then they were only temporary.

"My friends call me Leta, by the way." She told Coronach, figuring the girl deserved to know her nickname at this point as they waited for the food fight to subside. Heru was sitting in her lap as a burrowing owl again, his shimmering feathers light in color along the brown bits

*Video game sounds* Friendship achieved!

Coronach was brought back to Violeta, after Aligerous's very late explaination on his third power. She smiled, glad that she was considered a 'friend'. She knew at least one person here wasn't stupid and wants to be friendly.

"My friends call me Connie," she told her

"My friends call me... Aligerous... That's it-Why don't I have a nickname?" he gave a playful peck on Coronach's head "I can be Al, or Gary..." he started suggesting nicknames that not at all seemed right for him.

Violeta had to giggle and Heru laughed.

"I don't have a nickname either. Then again, my name's too short for one. So just Heru is fine." Heru chimed in, rolling his birdy eyes.

"How about Gerous? It's an old Gyptian name. It means "Watchful, alert" in our language. And it's part of your name." Violeta suggested to Aligreous

(I used the meaning for the name Gregory since it's Greek form was Gregorius and it was close enough to Aligreous)

((ooh good idea :D))

"Ah I like it! I hope it catches on, what do you think Coronach? Does Gerous just roll off the tongue?" the bird churred in a pleased way, hopping about with excitment.

"Sure... Maybe you'll stop nagging now?" she rolled her eyes, shoving the bird away playfully

Reginald Eason Pierce | Corsen

Reginald slid off the remaining few inches of the polished wooden beam, leaving the length open for the other teen who seemed to be following in a similar manner.
Without another word, Reg headed back through the doors into the yard, making sure to stick close to the building until he was out of reach of any stray food bits flung in the open spaces.
The red-haired teen shuffled around the decorative shrubs until he approached a more secluded zone of the outdoor area.
Reg backed against a nearby wall, lifting the new lighter up alongside the same smoke that'd gone unlit all morning. Flicking the metal wheel managed to produce a small flame without an issue. Quickly a puff of smoke produced from the tip of the cigarette hanging on the ginger's bottom lip.
Reg glanced around the area, almost certain he heard a faint clicking sound. However, a quick glance left or right rendered to him nothing out of the ordinary. The teen took a drag of his smoke, figuring it was just the old structure creaking.

Kriivthi noticed the taller look-a-like teen finally settle in the secluded area, making him slow his pace until his dæmon barked at him to stop. Startling the teen and causing him to stumble in his step, just enough to slide off the curved roof and down below. The wall wasn't too tall, and he's fallen off it plenty times before without much injury. However, his landing was cushioned by another teen, the red head he met earlier to be exact.

"Maybe you should just stop going on the roof... considering how often you fall off it" Herschell's deadpanned voice spoke. Some kind of creamy icing on his finger, which he pulled off the wall on the way over. Kriivthi frantically climbed off Reg with worried apologies flowing from his mouth.

Reg suddenly felt the wind knock from his lungs, which was unfortunate because he'd just sucked in on his cigarette. A mouthful of smoke forcefully exited from his lips, leaving him sputtering as he involuntary coughed for a few moments.

However, more concerning was the cause for impact and the reason for the redheaded teen to be laying on the ground, sprawled under another boy. Somehow, for the third time that morning alone, a student at the school had fallen out of the sky. Reg supposed with those odds, it was only a matter of time before he really did get a concussion by mere association.

The black-haired male had inexplicably landed on Reg during what was presumed to be an accidental fall from the small rooftop above. The impact had pushed Reg off his feet, landing heavily on the ground below Kriivthi. Reg was a bit too stupefied to be able to tell who it was at the moment, despite the other profusely apologized for the incident after rolling off of the ginger's body.

"This is not... how want... under people," Reg wheezed somewhat incoherently after he finished his coughing fit, currently lacking the willpower to either start yelling or to get to his feet.

Corsen flew over to the scene, glaring at the black-haired boy for a moment, before sighing at Reg's lanky body in its sprawled form. She briefly inspected the boy but found he seemed to have no critical injuries.

"This is not... how want... under people," Reg spoke, making Kriivthi wide eyed at the statement. Completely unsure how to think, or what to say so instead just continued to say sorry to the ginger for the thousandth time that morning. Internally thinking how much the guy probably won't ever want to see him again now.

"Oi, Kriiv... You broke him" Herschell whined, pulling on a mock saddness at the downed ginger. Kriivthi started frantically jumping to his feet, still spilling sorry's from his mouth as he tried to help the other teen to his own feet.

Reg finally got over the initial shock, shaking off Kriivthi's helping arm. Reg rolled over onto his knees, feeling relatively fine... considering another human had just fallen into him full force. Luckily his side had taken the brunt of the impact, which may provide soreness later, but at least he hadn't hit his head.

"I'm fine, and stop," Reg stated bluntly, probably coming off irritable. Understandably so, though right now he was more annoyed with the constant apologizing. "Where did you come from? Why?"

Reg glanced around, looking for the now missing cigarette, finally spotting it having been flung several feet away. He snatched it up before it could fester in the dry grass long enough to spark a fire.

Kriivthi snapped his mouth close with a muffled click as Reg spoke, pulling his hands back to his sides awkwardly. About to open his mouth to say sorry again, but managed to hold it back, now hesitantly scratching his head as he looked up to the roof.

"Well... I was... the food.... Then Aurvang.. And then... the shingle... and... Sorr- er... Uhm. Yeah" Kriivthi hesitantly spoke, moving his arms around and pointing in directions as he tried to string together a proper sentence.

Reg sighed at Kriivthi's response, somewhat getting an answer to his questions, albeit in an extremely vague and scattered manner. The ginger teen was about to bark out as much, but realized that Kriivthi already looked like he was suffering with enough guilt. The last thing Reg wanted to do was extend the second-hand awkwardness he was receiving from the black-haired teen's sputtering.
Reg decided to take a drag of his smoke before answering, hoping to settle the irritance behind his next words down a level.
"Anyways, whatever. Accident. I get it. Just go inside next time. Especially if this keeps happening to you?" Reg managed to rein back his snap into an annoyed mutter, rubbing his temples with his free hand while he spoke.
Corsen still seemed unimpressed by the entire situation, but now knowing that Reg wasn't hurt, she looked to Kriivthi.
"Are you hurt?" She asked the boy, unable to tell since he'd landed on her human more than the ground, but that could have still caused some strong impact for the fallen teen, as well.

Roku with the introduction of---t h e b o y

....

"Are we there yet?"

"Shhh not yet! Keep you eyes close! Hee hee"

......

...

"Anddd Open!"

Roku blinked her eyes open and was greeted with the sight of the empty wooden stage. Bellow she could see various table and chair being fold aside against the wall

"What is this?" Roku asked

"A theather? Or a club? a place adults hang out and enjoy themselves at night"

"Abandorn?"

"No, they just closed it in the morning."

Alarm going off in Roku heard as she turned her head sharply towards the boy

"This is very dangerous! We could get caught!"

"Not if they didn't wake up for it! Here help me with this!"

the boy is currently busy himself with a tool of a sort, trying to lift it and bring it out into the stage. The object seems fimilar.

"This is..." Roku asked, ended up not helping him in the end. but he did seems to get it sort out already, he placed a big disk on it and put a pin on top as the scratchy sound of a song began to play. Roku's alarm going off again but the boy seems clueless to how dangerous this could be. He walked toward the center of the stage, throw his arm wide and bow to the invisible audiences. His clothing, Roku noted, worned out and typical for the street boy actually do have some sort of flare to it that Roku thinks if it's cleaner it would make him fit in to this setting. and the the boy began to dance around a silly dance, not that Roku is qualified to know what dance is silly and what is not but she think that it's very oppose to how slow and soft the music actually sound. Almost sad.

"Come here dance with me!" He beckoned

"This is stupid, you are going to get us caught" Roku stood her ground and deadpaned

"Come on haha!"

the boy pulled her arms towards him and shifting her arms back and forth to matching his marching steps. urging her to dance with him

"This is stupid gross adult stuff we are doing"

"What?? dancing??"

"Yes, it's something the adults do"

"Not like this, here the adults would do it like this"  He exagerately somber up and shift into the slow dance that actually match the song now but it last only for a few seconds before he stop laughing an airly laughter and start doing his weird formless dance again "We do whatever we want. Ours is a lot funner. Come on, Please humor me"

Finally Roku gave in and began to shift around on her own accord without him pulling, this seems to please her friends greatly as

he laughed that stupid laugh again. and his dance became wilder. Sometime they danced seperately, something they join up with their arms linked. The boy twirled her around. It was then some strange emotion began to bubbling up inside of her chest, travel toward her throat and burst out, softly in a form of--

a giggle.

the boy stopped immediatally, gwarking at Roku with the stupidest grin as though he just found gold

"Roku...! Did you just laug--"

"HEY!"

------------------------------------------------------------

The Present Roku woke. There's not actually someone shouting that interrupt her dream. It just cut off as though it deemed that that's enough she want to experience. There're something wet in her eyes, gross. Roku irritatedly wiping them away. Notice and thankful that Yagi wasn't here otherwise she wouldn't here the end of it.

She also noticed that there're more talking on the stage now, and finally that perk her interested a little to puch her back toward the exit again but then seems disappointed that the girl seems to converse over something Roku herself doesn't find interesting.
