I just managed to earn enough gems to purchase a Changewing egg, so I excitedly purchased one right away. I then ventured to my stables to hatch my new companion, but when I attempted to place it on the pedestal, a message reading 'Create pet failed' appeared. Due to this message, I am un-able to hatch my Changewing, to which I am extremely frustrated by. If this glitch is un-able to be resolved, I will seek a refund, as I have not received what I have paid for.

Thank you for the advice, I greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately, my computer isn't allowing me to clear my Unity Cache, so that's not an option. Admins, I am begging you, please reply. This issue has been on-going for three days now, and I have had absolutely no reply. This behaviour is unfair, as I have invested real, hard-earned money into this glitchy game. Help is still required, so please, solve this bug so I can hatch my Changewing.

Hey there,   I was

Hey there,

I was experiencing similar frustrations when I bought a stormcutter egg the day they were released. I ended up buying two since the first one disappeared, and then reappeared when the problem was magically resolved. The second one kept saying "create pet failed" over and over... browser and unity cache were somewhat irrelevant.

What was most frustrating, however, was the lack and delay of response from the admins on this forum. I posted several threads and messaged Brynwolf about three separate times, politely inquiring about my concerns. I understand that the admins are busy, but after the weekend, I assumed that my issue would be given some priority. My problem wasn't resolved for almost an entire week later (on a Wednesday after waiting the entire weekend prior). That morning, I left an expressive/ cathartic thread about the lack of customer service for a loyal SOD player and member, an ordinary paying customer that contributes to this enterprise's fiscal resources. Several hours later, I went into the hatchery and out of no where my egg began to incubate and the "vanished" egg reappeared. It seemed fantastical since I still had not received a response from administration. I don't know whether or not an admin acted on my behalf to, finally, resolve my problem.

I wish I could give you some advice, but the truth is that the glitch is most likely not from your end. Be persistent; express your discontent, yet polite, until your issue is addressed. Remember, the admins are off on weekends and they may not have had the time to get to you by Monday. However, I think they need to release new eggs during the week for this exact reason.

I hope you find a satisfactory resolution.

I have had this glitch with a Snagglefang and it's been alomost a month now without it being fixed, very frustrating.  Clearing your cache won't make any difference.  You are at the mercy of the admins.

While it is an absolutely

While it is an absolutely horrible bug, I am glad that I'm not the only one experiencing it. It's been about two weeks since I first attempted to hatch my Changewing, and yet, the admins have showed no intrest in my issue. I am extremely displeased with the School of Dragons team, as a decent amount of money I have invested in this game to purchase my egg has gone down the drain. Even if they are not sure how to solve the issue as of now, I would appreciate them communicating with me and informing me so. Communication really is key, and I feel legitimately cheated out of my money.

Laziness shouldn't be tolerated. I expect the admins to be on top of every issue that players encounter ASAP, especially if it involves a financial payment. Honestly, I have never played a more glitchy, disorganised game than this one. I'm surprised that this game isn't in its BETA stage, at that Steam actually granted it permission on their platform. If it were me, I would tell the producers to keep dreaming. What's worse is that the admins don't seem to care if their users are experiencing issues. Isn't their job to communicate flowingly with users and ask for feedback/improvements?

I have come across multiple threads in which forum users have literally begged the admins to respond. Unfortunately, this rarely gets the admins attention, and more players are being left in the dark as to why they are experiencing such complications.

In my personal opinion, the admins need to spend a little less time creating new dragons and lands, and a little more time assisting their members and solving the on-going hacker issues. Sure, new content to entertain players is important, but ensuring that users have a safe, trouble-free experience is vital, and should always be the number one priority. I understand that the game needs financial contributions to continue running and to pay employees, but is it worth ripping your players off? Cheating them into believing that they're going to be rewarded for their input? If the producers want to see the inside of my wallet again, they seriously need to get their game together. Start cracking down on bugs and glitches, and give harsher punishments to those who hack. But most importantly, communicate with your players.

hmmI

In a word of defence for the admins, there are soooo many glitches in the game and soo many players complain, there is

500 of us and 10 of them. They can only work so fast and on so many things to not let the players down. If they focuse on fixing bugs then players will complain about the lack of dragons, if they focus on dragons players will complain about

Bugs. The best was to resolve your problem is to PM the admins about your problem. And you should suggest they get more admins and 10 of them fix bugs while the other 10 make dragons etc...
