A list of some bugs that I have been experiencing these past few days:
 

1- The Store does not open until the server goes down;
 
2- Mystery Chests do not give Medals as in previous events, they only give common prizes as if there were no Event;
 
3- The Daily Bonus Mystery Chests do not appear in the backpack;

You might want to uninstall and reinstall the game to fix this problem.

 

If it does not clear up, you can send a Forum Message to Brynjolf (Game Adminstrator) asking for help. But he will need more information then you listed here. Tell him what type of system/device you play on, the type of OS (OperatingSystem) it has, type of browser you use, is your device moble, etc.

You buy the Mystery Chests in the Store, Click on the Chest option button. See Page 2 for the Thawfest boxes. 

 

The Mystery Chests gives you one item, per chest that you can keep: to wear, to give your dragons a new look, or use on your farm, etc.

OR

You can choose to Exchange the Mystery item for Thawfest Metals. Click on your daily Thawfest button, and go to EXCHANGE. You will find a list of items available in the Mystery Chests. You will also find instructions on how to exchange these items for metals.

Not the ones in the market
The Mystery Chests that I mentioned are not the one in the store, they are those that are at the end of the Maze or that are scattered across the maps.
 
They do not give medals as usual at events, they only give usual prizes (eggs, saddles, farm items, etc.)

Thanks for corrected info, but I have question . . .

When I click and buy one of these chest located around the school and all the islands, I always see a message telling me how many medals are in the chest.

 

I then quickly watch the Thawfest symbol on the left side of my screen. The medals I bought go directly into my total medal count. I see a small white fireworks display over the Thawfest symbol as my medal count increases. This happens anytime I collect medals; DT, battle events, Thawfest sheep, etc. I have only bought 4 of these boxes, but it has correctly updated my total metal count each time.

 

Have you seen this happen?
