I've been meaning to write this since new years day, and I've finally started!
It's about a Mirage Fury (thank you Derpy :D) who is exiled from his home and gets into all sorts of trouble, but I've written it like a journal from the dragons point of view.
If you can think of anything that should happen please say, I tend to get stuck pretty quick.

January 1
Exiled. I've been exiled from my clan. The new Leader saw my white claw and immediately threw me out. My friends, my family, did nothing, just watched as I was chased away from my home. They looked afraid, for me or for themselves I could not tell. I'm afraid, I've never been without a home before, ever. I hatched and grew up in the mountain range and was never far from friends or my cave. Now I'm out in this desolate, icy place, the cold seeping through my scales and the night sky filled with snow...

Still flying, still looking, still nothing. No cave or hollow to shelter in, no prey to eat, no water apart from the ice and snow. I'm so, so cold. My wings will not work, maybe I'll just land here and sleep...

Silence. Profound, deafening silence. I cannot move, I cannot see, I cannot feel. Snow has cover me while I slept, encasing me in a cocoon of ice. I do not know what to do, except hope that help will come.

January 3
It was hours later when I was awoken by a thumping. The compacted snow groaned and trembled as something wallopped it again and again. Gradually I could see again, full whiteness at first, which got brighter and brighter until something dug the snow away and the sun dazzled me. There was shouting, a language I vaguely recognised but could not place in my befuddled state. Hands, spades, picks and axes chipped at the ice snow, slowly revealing my frozen, full scaled body. In all my life I didn't think I would be rescued by humans, but it is to them that I owe my life.

It was two days before I was strong enough to fly, yet even then I could only manage short flights, the cold had really taken my strength. The humans looked after me well, one of them in particular was a great help. Her name was Sath, she could speak Dragontongue and the humans language, and she translated for me often. She was there when I first woke in the camp, where I realised I was not just another Fury...

Entry 6 (I'll try and stick to past tense from now on)
January 3 (sorry about that XD)
The first thing I saw when I came round again was a deer hide tent with a fire in the centre and a girl with short, dirty white hair framing her dark face. Her hazel eyes watched Mrs like a Terrible Terror watches a fish and I gazed back at her with my dark blue ones. Her eyes still on me she called to someone outside the tent, speaking quickly in her own language. Then to me, in Dragontongue, she said quietly: 'I'm Sath Hansworthy. May I know your name, Fury?'
I so wanted to tell her, but the Leader had stripped me of my name when he banished me. To be nameless was the greatest shame, for other Furies would treat you like a fly or a speck of dust, invisible, unhearable, as if you had never existed.
'I do not know my name,' I told her.
'I didn't think you would, no Whitetalon has a name.'
My curiosity flared. 'Whitetalon?'
'Yes,' Sath paused as someone carrying a basket of fish came in through the tent flap. I started hungrily at it, I hadn't eaten for three days and was ravenous.
Sath said something in humantongue and took a couple of fish for herself, the woman with the basket dumped the rest in front of me. I uncurled my stiff body and tucked in while the girl roasted hers over the fire, the delicious smell filling the tent.
When they had both finished I crept nearer the fire, I still felt like a block of ice. 'How did you find me?' I asked.
Sath kicked the grease from her fingers. 'I and some of the tribe were coming back from a fishing trip, when we crested the hill we saw your tail fin sticking out of the snow, so we dug you out and brought you back.'
'Why did you bring me back? You could have just left me there and saved yourself the trouble.'
The girl stared into the flames, remembering events from years past. 'When we saw your white claw we had to bring you back. We owe a debt to the Whitetalons,' Sath paused to collect her thoughts. 'About three years ago, the worst blizzard in living memory swept this part of the country, and we were caught in it. There was no way we could have survived, if it hadn't been for a purple Whitetalon skradder. She led us to shelter, brought us good and fuel for the fires throughout the storm and kept watch for danger. She hardly spoke, the only words I ever heard her utter were her name, or title, Ka Ledasio, meaning The Leader in Neverian. When the storm abated she vanished, and has not been seen again.'
I have this some thought, but still I did not know who these Whitetalons were. Who I was. 'Who are the Whitetalons? Why is having a single white claw so important?'
Sath smiled at me sadly, and I tried to copy. 'A Whitetalon who does not know about Whitetalons. How extraordinary,' she chuckled. 'I will explain...'

I was trying to write entry 6 last night, at about 11 pm I was so tired that when I spelled extraordinary it somehow gained a C and a Z and all the letters were in the wrong order. I can't even remember typing it so I must have sleep typed!

'I will start from the very beginning, when the Whitetalons were first created.
'Thousands of years ago there was a race pic Dragons called Drax. They were so powerful that they could raise mountains, drain seas and even fly beyond the universe. Many a time they were called upon to perform great feats of magyke and they were admired throughout the worlds. But there was a Zyre Darrak, a Multiverse Dragon, who grew jealous of them, and he set a magykal trap that would draw Drax from far around. When the first Drax arrived it entered the strange ripple in space and vanished, its power transferring to the Zyre Darrak. When the Drax behind saw this, they stopped and play planned, and as their plan grew so did their numbers. A single Zyre Darrak was no match against a thousand Drax. As one, they charged into the trap, their combined power so great that it blew the ripple apart. The Zyre Darrak was sent flying into space, not to be seen again for many years. The Drax, however, were at the centre of the explosion. The energy on there was so strong, so wild that their magyke fused together, and their minds became one, creating a collective consciousness that could span league upon league. When the energy finally settled, they could feel each other there, they knew each other like siblings. Yet they did not know themselves. Not only had they been bound together and the middle claw on their back right foot turned white, they were also nameless.
'As the years passed their descendants hatched, some of them also Whitetalons. They formed a kind of secret society and vowed to watch over everyone and everything.
'They are still Drax, in their own way. The original Drax died out long ago, driven to extinction by power hungry humans and dragons alike. We tend to stay secret to avoid that kind of conflict. But alas, it is impossible to avoid.'

Rather a longish name for a smallish Viking. Hiccup is a member of the Hairy Hooligan tribe. He has bright red hair and about a million freckles. the series starts when he's ten-and-a-half, and progresses until he is fifteen and King of the Wilderwest. His best (and, for a few books, ONLY friend) is Fishlegs.
Fishlegs is scrawny, allergic to reptiles, pretty much scared of everything, and the only sane one of the group (well, the only sane one when Hiccup is making a Plan). But he's fiercely loyal to Hiccup, and a good deal stronger and braver than he thinks. 
She's a Bog-Burglar, a member of an all-girls tribe of people who, well, burgle things. She is a very accomplished thief and a master escape artist.

Entry 8 (?)
January 10
It's been days, over a week, I think, since I was exiled. The human tribe has been so kind to me, bringing me food and water when I was too weak to move, then teaching me to fish when I was up again in this icy waste.
Sath has hardly left my side in all this time. We seemed to have forged a connection between us, not because we speak the same tongue, but like the Whitetalons one. I first noticed it when we were fishing, Sath with a reel of line, me with a length of string tied to the tip of my tail. I had my eyes shut to better feel the tiny vibrations on the strong when suddenly I knew exactly where Sath was and vaguely what she was doing. She was reeling in a fish, a Northern Wolffish by the looks of it, and having a tricky time. I opened my eyes to see what was happening and found the fish already reeled in and on the ice. I've had a few experiences like that since, But now Sath is teaching me to control them. I can now turn it on and off when I want to find her, or just to know where she is. But there is something strange with Sath. Sometimes when she is away she does not feel like Sath. I mean, she is Sath, but slightly different somehow, as if she acting as a character based on her. Or maybe it's the other way round...

Now that I was strong enough to fly again I went to explore. There was an intriguing I've cave down the slope and across deadly looking I've spikes from the camp, so I decided to go there. I raced down the slope, gliding low, and looked and twisted through the spikes. Where the snow had stuck it was bright and dazzling, where the ice could be seen it was blue and clear. When you looked, this place was beautiful.
I landed at the entrance to the cathedral sized cave, the huge blue pillars and arched sweeping above me. Warily, I crept in. Why hadn't the tribe settled in here? It was sheltered, it was near the fishing spots and it was quiet.
I stopped. It was too quiet. It was the silence of someone trying to be silent. I turned to hurry out, but before I could something reddish black in colour charges me and pain flared across my eyes, plunging me into darkness yet again.

January 11 (it's going to be switching between Ka Shayam and Sath from now on)
In the camp, Sath was repairing a net. She got up to spread it out on a nearby rock, but before she reached it the tangled rope dropped from her hands. The sudden pain across her eyes was so strong, so blinding it made her whimper. Yet it was not hers.
'Ka Shayam,' she breathed. In a blink of an eye she was flying down the slope to the ice cave, leaving behind confused people and a broken net in the snow.

'Ka Shayam!' I heard Sath clearly in my mind, her thought-voice panicky. 'I'm coming!'
Ka Shayam. That is what she has been calling me for the past few days. In Neverian, it means The Warrior, which doesn't fit, to my mind. I wished it was true now though.
'Sath!' I howled. I couldn't see, there was I've all around, a snarling kreeture circling me. I was helpless. I could sense Sath not far away, traveling so fast it was if she was flying, but there was hot, rank breath closer.
I felt and heard the kreeture pounce, it's claws raking the ice, and I braced myself for the blow. But it never came. There was a strange rattle and hiss and the kreeture screeched in pain. Something growled right in front of me and I flinched away. But the growl was not directed at me, I heard the rattle again, claws scratted and then there were three chlinks as something lodged in the ice.
'Shay!' my head jerked and my ears shot up. Sath was here, her shots had been aloud, not thought-voice.
'Sath!' I bellowed. The pain in my eyes was horrendous, I could barely form a coherent thought. Through it all I heard growls, claws on ice, whimpers and roars. And Sath, right beside me, breathing quick, whispering it would be alright.
I didn't believe her, even though I wanted to so, so much.
