accidental gem-wasting
I just wasted some gems by accidentally clicking the button to speed up the growth of my sunflowers. While a refund of said gems would be nice, it's not a big deal; mostly I just want to point out how easy it is to do that when you're clicking rapidly through a row of plants, and suggest that maybe there should be a confirmation dialogue or something.
Sorry about the inconvenience but thanks for letting us know your thoughts, ShinyHappyGoth. Feel free to discuss this topic and any other suggetions you have in our Suggestions board!
I've done that quite a few times. A pop-up dialog with something like "Are you sure you want to spend your gems?" to confirm would be nice to avoid this from happening.
I would love if this became an option we could choose to have in our settings. Wasting 2 or 8 gems might not seem like a lot, but it builds up over time.
I think so as well!
It´s really depressing when you save up your gems but then lose them because you accidentally click on it.
That´s how I lost all or most of my gems T_T
And it would be nice if that confirmation dialogue is also added for the race, flight club and fire shooting minigames.
Agreed that this feature is necessary. My 7 year old blew through 75 gems "accidentally" and has no idea whatsoever where they went. He said he had to "pay gems" to get out of the "racing game" -- which I know makes no sense, so clearly he's confused. But the point is, gems are real money, and if the game can't program stuff to the level of a 7 year old, then as a parent, I'm inclined to not let him play.
We genuinely appreciate this type of feedback and will be sure to share it with the rest of our team as they work on future updates to the game. However, in the meantime, we do encourage our players to pay special attention to the buttons that they press while playing and in particularly when using any of our instant harvest or refill options while collecting items. After all, it is important to us for our player to learn how to budget both their gems and coins while in SoD. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for sharing your experience with our team.
yes, thats understandable
but its just that everything close together and the auto button is so close to the other button(s)....
Ive wasted so many gems that way...when im trying to save up gems for things like snoggletog and everything.
Many other people have this problem(pretty much everyone)
I mean, it would be easy to do
when you turnin items for quests, or accept them theres the "yes" vs "no" button
it would be nice if there was a button for auto harvesting....
I had a rabbit push my avatar while I was trying to feed the other rabbit in the pen. When my avatar got pushed my mouse moved and I accidenly spent gems on the rabbit. And then later on I spent gems on a turtle by accident. I saw a post about this from 2013, It's incredible that they haven't implemented a seemingly simple fix yet ;-;
Gems aren't easy for non-members to get, nor should they be as they are an incentive for membership. But some of us can't afford a membership at the time and when we spend what few gems we have it is very frustrating.
Please implement a feature that confirms a gem purchase.
[accidently posted twice]
Great idea! It would be a nice addition to the game. XD
