38 gems a day+50 per week!
Hi! This is my first post and the reason that I created a forum account.
Hope you find my guide useful, it can be used by both members and non-
members, and works even if you don't have a game account. Now that
is over, it makes sense! Thanks for reading!
So, you need gems? Either you're new to School of Dragons, or you've just
bought that dragon egg/expansion/other you've been wanting. Here's my
easy solution for how to stock up on this desirable currency!
Step 1: Open the game and log in.
Step 2: Claim your daily reward. (Let's say that you have 0
gems and it's your first day playing, you receive 5 gems)
Step 3: Watch a video by tapping chest icon in the top right
corner of your screen, which will give you 10 gems. Icon will
now be surrounded by a yellow ring, preventing you from
watching. Come back in an hour for another video. (Yes, the
ring in the photo was drawn. I hadn't used it yet. I also know
how lousy I am at pasting photos)
Step 4: Repeat step 3 three times, and chest icon will vanish
for the day.
Step 5: go to the store/trading post, which is located just
below the chest icon, an orange circle with a shopping cart.
Step 6: go to the 'earn gems!' In the top right corner of your
screen.
Step 7: watch a video four times, the max amount. It will
give you two gems each time, 2x4=8.
That's it! Make sure to do this consecutively so that you get
that 50 gem reward in total, and soon you'll be a fantastic
player! (P.S: If you have any in game questions, just ask! I
have tips from playing that can be pretty cool. Dragons
forever!)
...Wut. I already put up a post in Player Tips listing literally every way possible to get gems, and in a single day I can get over 1,000 gems. :/ Which would be 7,000 a week, 100% free. XD
I was simply trying to help others players who don't have the time to check in very often a day, wasn't trying to offend. Have been waiting until Snoggletog was over to post. I read a lot of your threads, Cryptic, and admire your commitment to SoD. I was just trying to help, and I hope that someone found this useful.
Not offended at all, just a little confused since something else was posted with this content and much more. I'm sure someone found it helpful though and since that's the point of both our posts, I'm not upset at all about it.
Better get used to it- people would rather make entirely new threads in different subforums than reply and add to a thread that already exists. Don't ask me why.
CrypticMoonFang, you didn't mention the videos in the store or the one on the daily prize tab so there is no harm done

Just for the record, there's been 'how to get gems' posts for years by various different people. New ones popping up on the feed don't really hurt anything.
