Wings of Freedom/Flight to Freedom - Recruitment
You told me we will talk in 2 months on facebook but have to stay in lower ranked clan for nwo
Point of clarification: are the 1K trophies for Wings of Freedom, Flight to Freedom, or both?
Also a heads-up that you've got a typo ('agreemee') in an otherwise really nice 'about us'.
Not a problem; as said, it's really nicely written.
Thank you for the clarification. I'm not a dedicated racer but from what I've seen of the Wings of Freedom clan around the forum, you're a level-headed, on-point bunch so perhaps now I've got a real goal to work towards instead of 'see how high I can get this number'.
My user name in the game is: DBest Viking
I am currently not in a clan, and I do not have an additional viking
Previously, I was in Brothers Courage SC
I currently have 6057 trophies
I have been playing everyday in a week for a while...
I want to join Wings of Freedom, pretty much because I know a few people there, and I have some friends there from Brothers Courage SC. I will follow the rules and agreements of this clan. I actually have also sent a request on the clan page already.
Finally got my fourm account!
BTW im a Flight to Freedom member im gonna try my best
so my name is lalakikigogo
Ive been in and currently in balzing dusk riders
I have 88 trophies
I go online once or twice a day
Recruiting now!!! Looking for friendly... "like to have fun" members, who enjoy racing and battle. You need 1000 trophies to join WoF. Submit application here and send a request to Flight to Freedom (for orientation and possible training). Once you complete that, you will begin the "flight" over to WoF.
CONGRATS to Happy Happy who just arrived and is now a proud member of WoF!!
- Viking Name- in game: Iora, on forum: Sylph264
- Additional Vikings- Huricania, and she has no clan
- Previous Clan(s)- Snow Leopards
- Number of Trophies- 32,210
- Activity- I recently went completely inactive, but with all the expansions being added I've been on every single day for at least an hour in the past month, and I plan to keep it that way- so seven days a week.
- Reasons for Joining- Many of my closest friends in Snow Leopards, who are the reason I fell in love with SoD in the first place, have abandoned the game. The fun and competitive nature that I came to enjoy as part of the clan are gone and I dearly miss that. Wings of Freedom is highly active and, just like Snow Leopards when I first joined it, clearly has a lot of life left in it. I miss competing in the competitions and I'd love the opportunity to do so again and make more friends in the process.
Thank you for your application! You agree to all the code of conduct and rules that are written here?? Let us know and we will be back to you as soon as possible.
I am Lassiel
Of course. I'm looking forward to joining your clan!
I was sort of approached by someone in this clan- fellow goes by Link Zelda today (well, night where I am). We were talking, me, him, and someone else, and my being clanless popped up and he mentioned that there was a recuitment clan for this clan... so I thought I would drop by to check it out. Been considering another clan, but I feel like I have seen more of your members around and since I haven't actually made a decision yet... Well, it couldn't hurt to take a look, right? Thing is... I don't actually KNOW much about the clans, as I've been a lone wolf up until this point. I feel like I have a general idea of what you are about from the rules, but would it be okay to ask for more information? To be honest, I have never been in a clan in any game I have played.
Hey there, Garrus. I can try to answer any questions you might have. What information would you like to know?
Well, for starters, what "work" would I have to do for the clan? Is there a minimum ammount of hours I have to be on per week? Is "coaching" non-clan members on racing tips acceptable? How "active" are clan members (as in, if i want to chat with the rest of the clan, will it be easy)? Is my practice of deliberately handicapping myself while on my snow wraith acceptable?
Also, it seems that the recruitment post is broken... I can no longer see it.
It seems like that image occasionally breaks. I think it is a Photo bucket issue.
I'm not sure what we said about work, but overall we just want members who participate and contribute. That can take the form of trophies, battles and just hanging out and having fun. There is no prescribed number of hours to be active or trophy earning requirements, but if we don't see someone around for a long time or we see that they come online but never spend any time with their clan mates, it may cause problems. Every situation is unique, though, so we don't like to make hard-and-fast rules about these things.
We are an extremely social clan and there will regularly be conversations happening in clan chat as well as group racing and clan parties.
There is nothing wrong with helping non-clan-members, but we would appreciate that you don't pass on things that we have taught you to non-WoFs. If people want to learn these things they should be prepared to join and contribute towards the clan's efforts.
You can handicap yourself as you like, though in Tournaments we would really prefer that you don't make it easier for others to win against you. Most top racers you face fron top clans would prefer that you put your best effort forward regardless of dragon used and regardless of whether a Tournament is on.
As regards the handicapping, I do it specifically because when I don't, I don't get the races I enjoy, unless the other racers are also on snow wraiths. I tend to get enough of a lead that, well, for me the race becomes boring. By waiting a few seconds before accelerating, I get a more exciting race (which is the reason I became addicted to racing in the first place), and feel like I actually work for my position (This is part of the reason my starting skrill is my primary racing dragon. That, and because I can make her DANCE). The snow wraith is the ONLY dragon I do this with. All other dragons, I give 100% from start to finish.
When I say helping non-clan members, one of the things I regularly do after a race where the other participants aere very obviously "green" (we all can tell when you enter at level 12 on a deadly nadder!) is try to give them advice on the shortcuts and sticking to the inside of the track... since especially on the starter dragons, I feel they need all the help they can get, and I don't want "new blood" to be turned off from racing by a bad experience.
Social obligations with other clan members... that seems sort of interesting.
Oh, and the image was working just now.
Hmmm... on the whole, consider me interested. It's something new for me, but what the heck. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. May I apply?
I can understand perfectly why you would handicap the Snow Wraith and have no problem with it. I personally just don't use the Snow Wraith if I don't want to have its advantage. And I only want to have its advantage when the people I'm racing have it too.
Yes, you're welcome to apply. Please PM me your friend code as well and I will get back to you once I have spoken with the other leaders.
I want to apply, i wanna join flight to freedom/or wings of freedom, may be best to start in flight to freedom, i have a fb account so i can apply to u through there:)
So I am currently already in Flight to Freedom but my forum JUST got approved so I thought I would officially apply to be apart of the Flight of Freedom/Wings of Freedom clans!
Viking Name: Khaleesi (Hal in game)
Additional Vikings: I have none
Previous Clans: Clockwork Crows for a day... But I joined mostly because I was super excited to be invited to something! My original goal from seeing the clan pages was to get into your guys's clan!
Number of Trophies: Around 1500
Activity: Between 3-7 days a week. Varies depending on how busy I may get
Why I would like to join:
I would like to join the clan because I feel as though it is a great environment that is both social and competitive. I love the aspect of making friends and being apart of something bigger than myself. Not only will I be making new friends, I will also be learning along the way. Being able to truly say I have contributed to an amazing clan would be great! I want to be able to help as much as I can and hopefully I can find my home in the Freedom clans <3
Hi! I am looking for clan to join. I have been active for about a year and a half now, recently upgrading my account to a membership. You're clan seems pretty cool and it would be nice to be in a clan for once.
Viking name (in the game): jynxxxxxxx --- only viking I use
NO PREVIOUS CLANS (sorry if that is bad)
I don't have any trophies, I never really got around to earning them by playing against other players in Fireball Frenzy or Thunderrun Racing..
As far as my account activity, I log on (using my phone) at least once a day to earn my daily bonus, check up on my dragons (6), and work on some quests.
I have been searching for a clan to join for a while now, I just haven't found one that really stuck out to me. I would also like to be apart of a clan that is doing fairly well on the leaderboard. Of course, the amount of trophies one has is not a reason to join clan. Victory is not a reason to judge a group or a person. Anyways, I also would like to join your clan because your quote really stood out to me. I especially like the part where it said, "Fly with honour," because it just sounds so encouraging by basically saying to take pride in who you are (not sure if that is what you meant by that, but that is just how it sounds to me).
Viking Name : NindzForevz
Forum Name : nonang01
Friend Code: EYVHLM
previous clan : Ninds Dragon Riders
Trophies : 226
Activity: almost everyday
I just want to be the best viking in this game. with friends and clanmates.
This clan haa certainly caught my interest and I will defintely be willing to join, though if I may ask, is there a cetain minimum to the number of trophies needed per week/month?
