What is the best method to buy a stable? (Returning Player)
It's been a while since I've last played, and there seem to be a lot of new ways to get dragons/dragon eggs (excited about that bit)
However, to house these new dragons, I need a stable. Is it better/more cost efficient to
a) just buy with gems. I'm fairly close and should be able to reach 300 in a week or so
b) buy the UDT Boulder stable. I am also fairly close in the way of UDT points/coins
c) I've heard that there's an achievement that offers a stable. I'm not sure if it still does though, or if it's worth the trouble.
I may be completely overthinking this, and if I am, feel free to tell me!
Thanks!
A) only through Battle events do you get the amount of gems you need
B) I think UTD Boulder Stable is good for beginners and coins are also easier to obtain. So if you don't have gems or a kite for Battle events, this stable is definitely advantageous.
C) Unfortunately, there is no Achievement that gives a stable, you will get a free stable if you buy a 3-month membership.
I would just like to add (if you don't know about it) as was the custom in Mystery Stable was a chest that gave 300 gems, this chest has been erased for a long time and is not available.
I had no idea that chest was gone, haha. I haven't played in way too long, and I remember creating profiles, buying a mystery stable for the discounted membership price, opening the chest, and repeating. I did it like 4 times then got bored XD
So there is good news that you could get one for free!
In certain areas like the Wilderness and Lookout especially, you can find chests that you watch an ad, and it will give you a random thing, and they sometimes give out Tidal, Stoker, or Boulder stables.
I've received so many stables from them, I'd give you a few if I could!
You only get five chests a day, and they range from farm decorations, to dragon eggs (Thunderdrum, Whispering D.eath, Gronckle, Nadder, Monstrous Nightmare, and rarely, Stormcutter. Maybe more I'm forgetting.) to stables.
I think you also can win certain dragon paints/skins and saddles.
They are in more off to the side places, like two parts of the beach at the Lookout, along with occasionally being by Fishlegs, and on the cliff overlooking the Lookout.
At the Wilderness, they aren't there as much, but I see them by the tent, and a few other places I don't know the names of as well, but just look for bigger chests with the dragon classes painted on the sides.
You only see one at a time, so just leave the place at the map, and go back.
I have the best luck at the Lookout, so try there first! Hope this helps, and you get a new stable soon!
Ad chests are only a thing on mobile. If you're playing on PC, that's not an option.
Thank you, I'd never heard of chests that open for an ad, just for gems or gold. I'll most certainly look into that, not having to spend gems OR a whole bunch of gold would be lovely!
