Aki

“I suppose you’re right but I know there’s more into his shift of character than meets the eye. He has become less and less his usual self lately,” Elise said, glancing at the direction where Luchter left, “But perhaps I should not worry excessively, either. I apologize for souring the mood, Aki.”

“No, it’s fine,” I replied, shaking my head. “I didn’t really notice it until now, but let’s hope it’s nothing too serious.”

So you haven’t told Elise all these years? I thought.

In truth, the younger blonde’s comment made me grow concerned for Luchter. We really are running out of time, aren’t we? I’ll talk to him about it tonight or tomorrow.

I looked up at the sky and saw the moon coming out of hiding from behind the clouds. Oh, that reminds me, I’ve a meeting.

“Ah, I have to go now,” I said to Elise. “See you later.”

I smiled and waved goodbye as I walked towards the palace entrance.

Summer

((@DemonQueen let's just finish up the interactions between Karis, Cosme, and Mika and then I'll interact with Rukath. I'd rather the store not be open til 3 XD))

✧✧✧

Summer shifted her bags in her hand so that she could hold them better as she walked back to the shop. It happened that the blonde girl was spotted by Cosme and had to run around town to avoid him, delaying her return by a (long) while.

After all in the end… the pyrokinetic thought. She ended up sending him away with some fire. Although it was more of blasting him away.

The blonde demon sent a message over to the shop a while earlier, informing Karis that something came up and to close the shop for her.

When she arrived at the storefront, she took out her key, unlocked the door, and walked in. She placed her bags down on the ground and stretched. “Man today ended up being a long day. I hope Karis didn’t mind.”

Summer picked up the bags and went into the back to store the ingredients she bought. Once she finished, she left the kitchen to see a person staring at the walls of her store.

She cautiously queried from behind the counter, “Um, who are you and what are you doing?”

Ashley was excited. Of course they were going out to explore while the kitchen staff made a welcome feast for the two newest members of the Romanus family. They were going to the nearby Shinto market to introduce the two kids to their new home. Silvius was also excited. He wanted to explore. So did his sister. She LOVED adventure. There were all sorts of crazy things at the fairy and kitusne market. They would go explore the fairy island in the morning. Ashley had to duck some little creatures that looked like minature dragons that accompanied some of the Fairies and Kitsune kept as pets. She saw other Japanese spirits inlcuding Yokai, Tanuki, Baku, a Hihi - a baboon like Yokai - spirits of all sorts including Kodama. Ashley knew about all sorts of Japanese spirits! She'd always been interested in that sort of thing Silvius recalled. Their father knew a few of them and introdued them to a Kodama named Megumi or something like that. Then Ashley saw a pet stall and zipped over to it. She'd always wanted a pet. "Oh wow! These are so cute!" Ashley cooed, seeing some of the miniature dragons as one of the little creatures zipped past her to prech on a branch near the owner. "They're called teacup dragons. People breed them as pets for those from outside the Kyamark family who can't get familiars. They're quite popular actually. Thankfully the dragon type beings don't consider them an insult. Some keep them for themselves if I recall." Osamu explained as Ashley examinied one little creature. It was pearly white with a nasal crest that reached her forehead. It had blue tipped wings, ears and a tail. Ashley noticed that they had two sets of wings, one attached to her back legs and a primary set. The little creature took a piece of fruit from her tray and broke it half, offering Ashley the larger half. "That's Gem, she's not usually so friendly." The owner of the stand coming over. "She's available for adoption by the way."  She added with a kind smile. "Can I get her dad?" Ashley asked, eagerly glancing at her new father. "Of course sweetheart." Osamu agreed immediately, wanting to spoil his daughter as she took the offered piece of fruit. The little teacup seemed to like the idea and chirped happily. "It's my policy that teacup dragons always choose their owners, not the other way around." The store owner explained as she handed over the cage and Osamu paid for the little thing

Mizuko- Siren

-

It was a little past midnight and Mizuko had just arrived on Mainland. But contrary to the time of day, that marketplace was still lively. The Siren wondered the market, stopping to see what each store had to offer.

Despite her royal status, Mizuko prefered living a normal life. She didn’t see the need to dramatize her presence, for example, by surrounding herself with bodyguards.

“Can I help you dear?” an Old man at one of the stalls asked. Mizuko turned to face the man, looking at what he had to offer. He was selling lavish furniture, bed sheets, covers, pillows and curtains.

“Hmm, well, I suppose I could redecorate my room,” the Siren said, stepping in the store and looking at the various prints and materials.

Viriz- Forest Spirit

-

Viriz continued to walk aimlessly through the forest, to his dismay there was no-one else around. Or so it seemed. Suddenly, a soft voice caught the deer creature off guard. Immediately, he spun around to see who it was. There stood a young girl (He thinks she’s young coz she’s short XD)with brunette hair and sparkly yellow wings.

"Hello little guy. Are you hurt or anything? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. But I see you're fine so I'll leave you than." she said, turning her back after she presumed that he was alright.

“No, wait!...I’m not alright, this isn’t who I really am. I need help turning back into a human. Do you think you can do that?” Viriz pleaded, leaping in front of the girl.

Lucy jump-scared. She tried to hide the fact that she's a little surprised but she was almost certain it didn't work. The deer can talk... snap out of it... he must be in the same situation as I am... he's a human... well sort of...

"Umm...well... I haven't had these wings until a few hours ago either. And I had comfy clothes on." She took off her gloves. "And I wasn't glowing... I just freaked out and ran away... I'm kinda trying to figure out the same thing."

She was thinking. "Maybe we could try to concentrate really censored our human forms.... I saw that in a moive..." She added a little embarassed." Lucy closed her eyes and thought really hard of a picture she had of herself and her sisters in her dwelling. She felt herself tearing up, but also something else. Something that wasn't painful or uncomfortable but an unusual feeling. She wiped her eyes really quickly, so no one can see that and opened her eyes.

She saw that her wings have disappeared. "It's working!' She wanted to fist bump the air when she saw her hands are still glowing. "It's... almost working..." She blushed really quickly as she was thinking of something else. She looked down and sighed in relief. Althought her green dress was gone, her comfy clothes were back on her again. "That's much better." She looked at the other to see how's he doing.

Smile, everybody's watching! >:)

Shoot, so I had a really long post I was gonna get on this thread yesterday, but the moment the page refreshed, two hours of my hard work was gone. I was going to summarize it, but then there are a lot of important details that can't be left out so yeah, I'll need to retype that. However, for the next few days leading up to my departure, I will have a tight schedule, so I might post only one or two times. Please understand my situation.
-
Yeah, I'm really disappointed because on Tuesday morning, I will be leaving for vacation that will last a bit more than a week, and I'm unsure if I'll be able to post in that duration. My phone is super slow when it comes to typing up posts, so if I'm allowed to bring a laptop and have good internet connection, I'll notify you guys.

Well thanks for your time, I'll be back with my deleted post!

Rukath Soular-Manakete

Rukath found himself lost in all that was in the candy shop, there was just so much to see. He found himself looking over the caramels when he heard someone ask who he was and what he was doing. Startled Rukath spun around to see who was asking questions, a small packaged caramel stick he had been looking at in his hands.

"Oh um, my name is Rukath.. I'm new to this place and I was just exploring when I found your shop.. um would this be enough or even the right currency for this?" he asked, dragging out a couple wrinkled dollars from the roughly eleven dollars in his back pocket, and held up the caramel stick with them.

Summer

The late night shopper spun around to face Summer. From what she could see, the blonde was holding a caramel stick.
“Oh um, my name is Rukath.. I'm new to this place and I was just exploring when I found your shop.. um would this be enough or even the right currency for this?” he asked, pulling out several wrinkled, but recognizable papers and held it up with the caramel stick.
Well, I haven't seen dollars in a while, she thought as she walked over. He must be newly awakened to be wandering and exploring at this hour.
The thought brought back some fond memories of her own arrival, causing her to smile to herself.
“Nice to meet you, Rukath. I’m Summer,” The demon greeted and then shook her head, “And nope. We use a completely different currency based on gold. Dollars are basically useless here unless there's an antique collector who wants it. Anyways, one dollar is basically worth one white gold.”
She took out several gold she kept on her and held out the stones, pointing towards a small whitish-gold stone to show the other blonde the currency.
She then went around the different golds, comparing each of their values to the dollars.
“One yellow gold is five dollars, green gold is ten, and rose gold is twenty,” she said as she pointed to each. “Considering you're new here, I’ll allow you to take the caramel stick for free and give you some money for now. Your parents should’ve left some ((a lot of)) money in your new home so go see if you received any when you get back.”
Summer gestured for Rukath to take the money she already held out while she was showing him the different golds.

The blond female walked towards Rukath, a smile on her face, he could not tell what it was for so he guessed it was out of amusement and kindness. She introduced herself as Summer and then went on to explain to Rukath that his bills were close to worthless and then she went on to what the currency that they used was and what each stone was equivalent to his native currency.

Rukath never liked the idea of gold being used as everyday currency, it was to dense and thus a small amount weighed a decent amount but he had no other choice here in this world. Nodding Rukath memorized which stone was worth more than the others and guessed that there was a metric like value to them. He smiled in thanks when Summer said that he could have the caramel for free.

Rukath was taken aback at offer of money and the fact that there was more back at his house, "th-thank you" he said as he gingerly took the stones from her. he looked at the assortment of colored gold, finding them lighter than he expected but still not as light as the now useless paper and coin in his pockets. "I will be sure to look for that money you say my parents left me.. whoever they are.. I can't thank you enough for the kindness you showed me today, I will be sure to repay you" he said before slipping out of the door, giving Summer no time to wave off his offer and escaping the slightly awkward, to him, situation. Well then, a literal gold standard, no more fiat currency.. don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing he thought to himself, dropping the little ovals into his pocket as he walked down the market, slowly enjoying the caramel as he went.

Turns out it was getting pretty late and Ashley yawned as Osamu paid the required amount of rose gold for her little pet. Gem was happily perched on her head and perfectly content to sit there for now. Osamu soon had to take them back after explaining the monetary system. White gold was the lowest currency, yellow gold the second, then green gold and then rose gold was one of the higher ones. Gem cost them about 5 rose gold so that was about 100$ in human currency. They would get toys and things like that for Gem in the morning. Now it was time to head home for a late dinner and bed. Only Vampires and nocturnal spirits stayed out this late. When they returned to their complex, the food was ready. There was a huge spread of Japanese cuisne, ranging from smoked salmon to sushi. They really went all out trying to impress the kids. "Oh wow! This looks amazing!" Ashley squealed as she flew over to the table in the dining hall. Silvius had to laugh and grab her ankle, her wings fluttering. "Slow down kiddo. It's late so we eat then right to bed." The young Kitsune warned and Ashley rolled her eyes as she sat down with Gem fluttering to the table. The little teacup dragon was nosing around a bowl of asorted nuts and fruits, picking out which ones she liked and sorting them. Ashley giggled as Gem offered her a piece of mango. "Why thank you Gem." She told the teacup and took a bite. It was a lot jucier and sweeter than she was used to. She suspected some nature spirit grew it. She happily devoured her food as she always did when hungry. Silvius rolled his eyes and used his chopsticks in a more sedate manner. Lanatana chuckled and smiled at her husband. Soon enough Ashley stuffed herself and Gem silly so they were both snoozing at the table. Silvius had to chuckle at that. "She always does that when she's excited." Silvius explained. "Don't worry, we understand. We can have someone show you to your rooms so you can settle in. They're conjoined so you won't be apart but still have privacy. We understand that's how things were for you at home in Society." Osamu replied, a small smile on his face. Silvius smiled. "We'd appreciate that. And Ashley's favorite color combinations are blue and gold, blue and bronze or blue and green. She's also a major superhero and science fiction lover." Silvius told them as he cradled his little sister in his arms and carried her upstairs, making sure Gem was snuggled with her. Ashley would never forgive him if he left the little thing behind. He carried her to the rooms the young hired servant indicated - she was a young Baku who had just awoken a few days ago and was hired by their family - and it was clear she knew her way around. 'They must've been surveiling us for some time.' Silvius thought as he saw the bedroom his sister was to be in. It looked EXACTLY like her room at home with a few slight differences in terms of lighting and size. All her things were here including her Transformers collection and crystals. There was even a small nook for making jewelry and all sorts of jewelry supplies. There was a wardrobe with green and blue galaxy whorls on it and the whole room was in a science theme of astronomy or nature. The roof was painted like a star chart and the floor looked like a fairy's dream garden. Crystals lined the walls acting as lights and there was even an alchemy station for her to fool around with crystals to see what they did. Silvius smiled, setting his sister and her new teacup dragon on the bed, making sure both Gem and her stuffed teddy bear that looked like Optimus Prime were snuggled up with her as he tucked her in. After the young Yokai girl showed him how to use the crystal lights, he used the door that linked their rooms to go to his own. He was a major fighter and liked fighting games as well as other interests. He saw his true parents had done their homework. There was a workout area in one corner, a closet in a traditional Japanese style in the other. Basically, his room was set up like a mini dojo. He always preferred a more traditonal Japanese style to Western styles of living. There was even a traditional Japanese bed. He yawned, checking the time. Almost 3am. Yikes. He would sleep late tomorrow that was for sure.

(BTW I read this book by author James Rollins called Jake Ransom and the Skull King's Shadow where they use crystals for pretty much everything such as lights, heating, cooling, etc. I was thinking maybe the Domain had something like that to fool around with instead of typical lights like in Society since humans don't use alchemy or magic

Luchter Siegcador - Draconic Demon

Luchter paced the maze of hallways that was the palace interior, navigating his way to his room. It had been troublesome for the prince during the first few days he lived there but soon enough, he became accustomed to it. Eventually, he realized that the place looked complicated when it actually wasn’t.

En route to his room, Luchter passed by Morgan’s room. The door was left ajar and chatters could be heard from inside. Curious, Luchter peeked through the small gap. Morgan was there, sitting on his bed while swinging his legs, seemingly conversing with someone.

“I don’t know, Mr. Barok. I’m not scared of you anymore but that doesn’t mean Simon doesn’t creep me out anymore.”

“Then you should try approaching him like what you did with me. Simon may look eerie but I can assure you, he is a reasonable man. He will never do any harm to you.”

“Yeah but even knowing that, I still can’t accept him as that kind of person.”

Luchter let out a breathy laugh. Morgan was a shy person and one that wouldn’t usually voice his thoughts. He talked over his problem to him a few months ago, asking for a solution. Luchter knew how restless the young demon could be around his granduncle, Barok, so the prince told him he could try to break his problem by embracing his fear; conversing with the frightening counsellor.

Morgan reluctantly did as he suggested. He started from simply being by Barok’s side to making small talks with him. It eventually developed into a habit of chatting with each other every evening if the counsellor had time to spare. It was a rather bizarre relationship, a cheerful innocent child and a forbidding minacious adult.

“Tell me, Morgan. How was your day in the library?”

“Well, Father let me borrow a novel. It’s kind of thick but it’s not too difficult for me to read.”

“Did you notice anything strange about your father?”

“Strange? Um, he did let his mind wander for a bit. I’m not sure if it’s just me but I feel like he tends to be deep in thoughts lately.”

Luchter stepped away from the door, mulling over Barok’s inquiries. It seemed apparent that Elise was not the only one noticing the oddity in his attitude. At this rate, he dared say all members of the Siegcador bloodline who lived in the palace would eventually know something was up.

Luchter turned on his heels and entered his room located across Morgan’s. As soon as he closed the door shut, he undid his belt and stripped off of his elaborate coat, revealing his maroon vest and white dress shirt. He removed his cravat while he sauntered over to a full-length mirror sitting next to his closet, closing his eyes. Slowly, he unbuttoned his vest and the top half of his dress shirt, just enough to reveal his chest. Steeling himself, the blonde demon opened his eyes to meet his reflection. There in the middle of his chest was a sinister crack imbued in soft periwinkle glow. The prince lightly traced it with his finger, recalling the events that had transpired seven years ago.

Suddenly, Luchter felt a sharp pain in his chest. Instantly, he clutched his chest and curled inwards. His breath quickly turned into panting, beads of sweat rolled down his cheeks. He turned to his chest, realizing that the crack Thanatos reaped open was still there.

What in the…?

Luchter, this dark energy… We cannot terminate it, Rusalka informed woefully.

Luchter groaned in pained, dropping to his knees. It was all for nothing then, the terrestrial Guardian uttered.

It is not. None of us are able to eradicate it, even with our powers combined but we can postpone it.

Tell me how to do it.

If Deirdre and I fully merge ourselves with your Spirit Flame, we will be able to decelerate it long enough for around seven to ten years from now.

Alright, go for it. That should be enough time till I find the new Wielder.

Seven to ten years… I don’t think I can hold it up for much longer. Luchter heaved out a sigh, buttoning his dress shirt and vest. He picked up his coat and belt that were left crumpled near the door and hung the piece of clothing in his closet while his belt was rolled and put inside a drawer. Afterwards, the prince walked over to his balcony. He rested his elbows on the railings and hunched forward, taking in the view of the central city. Far away from the city was the portal to the Mainland, shining brightly in contrast of Helldomain’s eternal twilight.

Tiki, you might just be my last hope.

“I suppose I’ll get going now,” Cosme said with a shrug. “Nice chatting, Karis.”

“That boy, so determined.” Karis muttered, shaking her head. The succubus turned back to the vampire she was serving, before being distracted by the perverted demon.

“May I have this to go?” he said, looking up at her as he made his request.

“Sure thing,” Karis smiled welcomingly as she boxed up the cake. The vampire then made a second request.

“And a box of wagashi please.” he added.

The redhead looked at where the Wagashi was being displayed, there was only one box left. That particular confectionary tended to be expensive due to how much time and effort is required in perfectly shaping each piece, not to mention Alex has to do it all on his own (I’m assuming. Can change if u want).

Wagashi was Akemi’s (A good friend of Karis) favorite sweet dish, it was her that told the demons about it and it’s been selling well ever since they began making them. Surprisingly she hadn’t show up this week to buy some.

“Umm, sure thing,” Karis said, picking up the last box of Wagashi and handing it to the vampire, “Here you are, that will be (>Insert how much Gold it’d all be here :p<).”

(Timeskip to when Karis closes the store)

“Really Summer? Even after I specifically said not to purposefully take too long, what do you go an do? Take the whole day off!” Karis complained to herself as she locked the door to the store. But a smile came to her face, sighing, “But for some reason, I can never stay mad at that girl. She’s my best friend after all...but she still owes me a day off now.”

Still afraid of what had just happened to her, Sakura burst through the front door and ran up to nearest secluded spot: a large tree. Allowing her body to drop onto the tree trunk, she began crying.

“Brother, where are you, please show yourself so we can go home. Please, I'm scared, I'm scared of this place.” Sakura said, weeping, letting her body slide down to the ground. She sat against the tree, and curled up into a ball, placing her arms around her legs and pulling them in. She then drove her head into her knees as she continued to cry.

Aki

✧✧✧

I rode the wind through Helldomain, navigating through the lava covered island. As a werewolf, it wasn't particularly attractive to my taste of “home”, but the island was definitely unique and magnificent in its own way. After several years of living here, it began to feel more comfortable. I looked up at the full moon shining luminously from above, boosting my powers. Tonight was the only night each month in which I could be like a normal werewolf.

I glided towards the portal connecting Helldomain to the Platform holding portals to all sorts of locations, gracefully came to a stop before it, and walked through.

I remembered learning the painful way that portals maintain inertia when crossing them. One day, I was walking up to the portal when suddenly, Soraka came flying through. She crashed right into me head to head, nearly knocking the lights out of me. The experience at the moment wasn't pleasant, but the memory of it gradually became fond.

I crossed the platform from the Helldomain portal to the Howling Woods portal. I was greeted by the serene woods and the ever misty and chilly air. I closed my eyes and sighed. There were places to be. I just had to run the directions through my head one more time.

Summer

“th-thank you,” Rukath said as he gingerly took the stones from her.

“No problem,” Summer replied. My family’s pretty rich anyway. She added silently.

He looked at the assortment of colored gold and added. “I will be sure to look for that money you say my parents left me.. whoever they are.. I can't thank you enough for the kindness you showed me today, I will be sure to repay you.”

Before the demon could turn down the offer or anything, the boy left the store and disappeared.

I guess these things can’t be helped, she thought as she closed the lights and walked out, locking the door once she was outside.

Summer then thought about Karis. I’ll give her something to make up for today. Plus there were a ton of deliveries today, so she deserves a good treat.

The pyrokinetic began walking to the Platform when she thought she saw Mizuko at a market stand on the way there.

She went over to the shop to get a better look of the aquamarine haired girl and smiled when she saw it was the siren.

“Hey, Mizuko! What's up?” she called out a greeting to the other girl.

Mika

((I suppose there probably is another person or two making sweets otherwise he’s screwed XD And same, idek prices. Don’t ask me!))

The demon boxed the cake and handed over the last box of Wagashi to Mika and named the price, “Here you are, that will be (>Insert how much Gold it’d all be here :p<).”

The vampire took out the said amount of gold and paid. “Thank you!”

He then left the store, finding himself pretty broke now.

✧✧✧

Mika walked back to the Platform after a little window shopping. It was now past midnight and he just had to go pick up some blood back after dropping off his goods at home. The vampire walked through the portal to the Forgotten Forest and began following the path home.

In the middle of his walk, he heard someone crying and froze on the spot.

“Brother, where are you, please show yourself so we can go home. Please, I'm scared, I'm scared of this place.”

Sounds like a girl. Is she lost? Mika thought and silently approached the sound of crying. Maybe she’s from a different island and somehow ended up here?

When he got close enough, he saw that the source of the crying was indeed a girl. A cute girl in fact, he thought. But upon closer examination, the girl was also a vampire. He presumed it was safe to say that she was newly awakened.

Should I go up to her? The blonde debated on approaching the girl or leaving her be.

The girl’s words repeated in his head again and he began to sympathize for her.

Ugh, screw this, he finally decided to try and comfort the girl.

Mika walked out of hiding and approached the girl, crouching down in front of her. “Hey, what’s wrong? Are you lost?”

The white haired vampire looked up and saw a blonde boy crouched down in front of her. As he spoke, she caught glimpse of his fangs.

“You’re a vampire too,” She whimpered. Sakura considered her options, ordinarily she’d run in fear of being devoured by the monster’s fangs, but in this case, she was also a monster. Perhaps that could work in her favor. “No- no I’m not lost. Well maybe I am. But that’s not important right now- right now I’m looking for someone…” She said sniffing, wiping her tears with her sleeve.

((I’m just gonna skip till the twins actually transform coz I’m sure everyone’s tired of reading ppl crying in pain and turning into some next lvl sh...I mean things.))

“No! No! No! The Sea Serpent, it’s eaten me! It’s eaten me! I’m too big for it to swallow, look, I’m stuck in it’s head, I can see through it’s eyes!” Silver panicked , thrashing around violently, not realising that he was the creature itself.

Sapphire, who had also been transformed into a sea beast frowned, fluidly swimming over to her brother’s side.

“Relax you melodramatic clown. You’ve not been eaten by a Sea Serpent, you are a Sea Serpent. Besides, I’ve become one too. Hehe, and to think you were the one trying to scare me earlier,” the younger twin reassured.

“Oi! This is a very serious matter!” Silver growled.

“You, of all people, can't talk about being serious,” Sapphire retorted.

“Where are my legs?! No, my poor little legs, my babies have abandoned me...now how am I gonna run from the feds?” The male twin whined, ignoring his sister.

“Oh brother,” the female muttered, sighing. “C’mon, let’s go see if we can get help.”

Mika

The girl looked up at Mika, whimpering, “You’re a vampire too.” She whimpered.
Did I hear fear, or was that my imagination? He thought. Of course I’m a vampire. Why else would I be here? If it weren't for that stupid incident five years ago-
His thoughts were cut off when the female vampire spoke again.
“No- no I’m not lost. Well maybe I am. But that’s not important right now- right now I’m looking for someone…” She said sniffing, wiping her tears with her sleeve.
Ok, now she looks pitiful. If I remember correctly, she was calling for her brother, the blonde thought.
“You’re looking for your brother, right?” He asked without thinking about his words. “What bloodline are you from?”

Aki
I morphed into my full moon form and ran deeper into the woods. I lost track of time as I ran, the wind soothingly running through my golden fur. As I followed the directions, I recalled the days leading up to this meeting.
Seven years ago, following the Lost Invasion, I received a book from Fang’s place called Messages. After things became normal and I could settle down, I checked out the book. Apparently, it was a communication device between my mother, Yuuki, and my supposed uncle, Andor. The book worked like mail, except it was more convenient. Writing in it would create a message in the other user’s book where they could see it and respond to it by writing in their copy of the book. It took a while for Andor to even notice that there was a new message and get back to me. We exchanged news of what has happened, although it didn't seem like the Mystic was going to reveal his location anytime soon.
It made me wonder what was so bad that he had to hide. It wasn't like Grandfather was going to hunt him down. Speaking of whom, I hadn't seen or reached out to him since the Lost Invasion. I figured we would see each other eventually and make up, but I never went up to him. Neither did he try to find me. It felt like the event was just meant to be forgotten and everything could be peaceful...almost too peaceful.
I narrowed my eyes as I noticed that the part of the woods I had enter began to grow even more misty than before. I slowed my pace and began running more carefully.
I eventually found myself heading downhill, the woods and fog around me thinning. A nostalgic feeling flooded me as I remembered my mother heading down this same path in a memory long ago.
So, this is it? I thought as I entered a huge field of tall grass.
A gentle breeze passed by as I observed my surroundings.
This place really exists, I thought.
“Ah, so you’ve arrived,” I heard a deep voice speak from in front of me.
I looked before me and saw three wolves. One dark brown wolf with violet eyes stood in the front. Two younger looking wolves flanked him. One was lighter in color, having mostly white fur tinted purple, while the other had black fur with darker shades of purple. But both shared the brown werewolf’s violet eyes.
“You must be Aki, also known as Hikaru, daughter of Yuuki and Kyle, am I right?” The brown wolf said.
I nodded.
“Very well, let me introduce ourselves,” he continued. “I’m Andor Mystic. These two are Kathleen and Saige Mystic. I suppose you’ve waited long enough. Hear us out now.”

Sakura Esper- Pureblood Vampire

“You’re looking for your brother, right?” the blonde boy asked, to which Sakura nodded. “What bloodline are you from?”

“Bloodline?” she murmured, lowering her head. Her thoughts trailed back to when she first arrived in this place, she remembered seeing the word bloodline carved into the stone tablet. If she remembered correctly, the stone tablet said “Sakura of the Esper Bloodline”. She looked back up at the male vampire, “I think- I think I’m part of the ‘Esper’ bloodline, at least, that’s what it said on the stone tablet.” she answered, hoping that would answer the boy's question, she began to fidget with her fingers, nervously.

Mika

“Bloodline?” She murmured, lowering her head. The silver haired seemed to think for a moment before looking back up at Mika, “I think- I think I’m part of the ‘Esper’ bloodline, at least, that’s what it said on the stone tablet.”

((And it was at that moment he knew he screwed up))

Esper bloodline? No way, he thought in disbelief, staring at the girl. There's no way…

So that means her brother is Zero! He realized. But Zero...disappeared seven years ago. Argh, what do I say?

Mika ran through his options. There was no way he would be allowed near the House of Esper by any means. Telling the Esper about her brother’s disappearance will do no good either. Ah…

The blonde shuffled through his groceries and found the wagashi he bought earlier. He took it out and opened it, presenting it to the silver haired vampire.

“Um, Miss Esper, would you like some while we go? I’ll take you to your family’s house,” he offered, hoping the rather expensive treat would help calm her.

((Me: *has no idea what she's doing* and wow, this is so much calmer than the beginning of Unbreakable))

Aki

Andor began explaining the Mystic bloodline’s existence. I listened patiently, taking in as much information as I could.
((No, I’m not going to write a whole lecture. I'll summarize it later. Anyways, some details still have to be sorted out))
Afterwards, Andor stepped back and looked over at the white furred wolf, Kathleen. “I’ll leave the rest to you. Come back as soon as you're done. We can't risk being out in the open for so long.”
“Yes father,” she replied.
Andor and Saige turned and disappeared into the mist, leaving only Kathleen and I to talk.
I looked over at the Mystic and awaited her instruction.
She seemed to be watching the woods around us, her ears angled outwards. I sensed some nervousness from her, but it soon faded away. She twitched one and then looked back at me. “Ah, sorry. Let’s turn back into our human forms.”
She morphed first, turning into a youthful woman wearing a large white coat. Her eyes remained equally deep violet ((even though it’s diff in the ref)). Her blonde hair was cut to shoulder length, similar to my sister seven years ago. I followed in suit and reverted to my human form before glancing up at the night sky in hopes to tell the time. Unfortunately, when I looked up, it seemed that mist had shrouded the sky, preventing me from checking the position of the moon and stars in the sky.
Kathleen seemed to notice my worry and said, “Oh, don't worry about time. We have plenty, since we’re in a time valley*. Only half an hour passed at most outside this zone.”
I nodded, “Right. I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Now, onto the real purpose of this meeting,” the other blonde redirected the conversation back on track. “You wield the Divine Light, don't you?”
I nodded and Kathleen smiled. “Nice to meet you, I am the wielder of the Divine Balance. Let's connect now.”
She revealed a magnificent bow and gestured for me to take out my sword.
I unsheathed the katana, “Let us.”
✧✧✧
((Another skip cuz I'm feeling lazy))
I yawned as I rode the wind, my legs criss crossed into a sitting position on the air, back to Helldomain.
We did great today, Kathleen said telepathically. Kiyoshi, mind we disconnect for now? Kazue’s ready.
Not a problem, Miss Kathleen. The Divine Light’s spirit replied.
Message Andor for our next meeting please, Kathleen called over to me.
Alright, see you soon, I said my farewell.
Bye~ I heard the my cousin say before her and Kazue’s presences disappeared from my mind.
Tonight was one heck of a night, I thought to Kiyoshi. How come you kept that all hidden from me?
Well for one, it's embarrassing for a dragon to admit his own demise, he said. Second, I must have permission from the head Mystic…
Ok ok, let's just get back and rest, I ended our conversation.
Then another question came to my mind. Kiyo, how come we seemed so much more powerful tonight while we were practice-combatting Kathleen and Kazue?
Because there's no way I can afford to lose to her, Kiyoshi said, seemingly crossed. And I amplify my power for you to use as you grow. If you didn't strive to become a better master of your abilities and all I did was hand you power, you wouldn't be any better than you were seven years ago.
I felt slightly agitated by the remark, though I knew he had a point. Just before I could give a snide reply, I saw the palace in the distance and began descending towards it, deciding not to give him any more of a reply than a “Hmph.”
I landed at the entrance and walked in, navigating through the palace to my room. I entered, seeing Luchter over at the balcony. “I’m back, Luchter. Is Morgan already asleep?” I said as I undressed and put on my night gown, placing my clothes in my drawer or closet as they belonged.
*Time Valley- a phenomenon in which time seems to slow down in random locations, allowing those within these certain locations to accomplish more during a given amount of time than they would outside of the time valley. Each one's effects varies from place to place. For this specific one located in the Howling Woods, what feels like four hours within the time valley is actually only one outside of it.

Nixon Cornelius - Pureblood Vampire

Nixon slid off Atlantis’ back and lead him using the reins towards the front gate, which were already open. So were the front doors, and a woman with short silver hair stood in the middle of the opening. Nixon immediately went to bow down and greet her Majesty but was cut off.

“Where is Ezio, sir Nixon?” Skylar asked the rehead, who was lowering himself to his knees.

“Ezio did not come with me, Miss,” Nixon replied, then he felt the second presence.

“Please step aside sir.” Skylar said, walking past Nixon and removing the black cloth from her eyes, exposing pupils that glowed blue, and a thin film of magic spread over the front yard of the Manor.

-

Audrey dashed from bush to bush, evading the redhead’s view skillfully until he reached the front gates, where a woman with a cloth covering her eyes stood.

She’d be pretty without the cloth, Audrey thought to herself as she remained quiet.

Suddenly, there was a thin blue film that started to grow from the woman, spreading beneath her feet, causing her to curse quietly under her breath and start to make a run for the front gate.

-

“So there is someone else here,” Skylar whispered to herself as she started to approach the figure that started to run towards the front gate.

Doesn’t she know that barriers prevent anyone from exiting or entering? Skylar thought in curiosity. Yet again, little to no one knows of the Krymark Manor.

Skylar easily had the girl pressed against the barrier, with no way to escape. The silver haired woman began to raise her blades behind her, palms beginning to glow with magic.

“Who may you be, and do you know that you’re trespassing on private premises?” Skylar said to the girl, who turned around and stared at her.

“M-my name is A-Audrey, Audrey Chevalier. I’m sorry if I’m not supposed to be here, I’ll never come back again. Please let me go,” the girl said quietly, fear in her eyes as the Virtuous Contract began to shift from its position behind Skylar.

“Your Majesty, clearly from the unrefined way she speaks, you could make the assumption that she is a newcomer to the Domain. This girl does not how to introduce herself properly and uses terms often taught in the Society,” Nixon suddenly spoke up, looking at Audrey’s stunning eyes and headpiece.

“Do not speak up when it’s unnecessary.” Skylar said flatly, before the deadly glow in her eyes started to soften and her blades lowered back to their normal positions. There was a brief silence before Skylar spoke again.

“Are you new her-” Skylar began.

“Sorry to interrupt again, but the island is being spied on. I detect two different spirits within a 40 meter radius.” Nixon cut her off.

“That is a good reason to cut me off, Nixon.” Skylar replied with a sly smile before whirling around and leaping up, switching the Virtuous Contract to a spear and throwing it down in the ground before, swinging around it and launching a series of graceful attacks. PhonyKaleidoscopicAmericanlobster-size_restricted.gif

Within a frame of a few seconds, the spirits were eliminated, leaving both Nixon and Audrey in an awkward staring state.

Her Majesty is amazing, no wonder she defeated Jasper, although I doubt it was easy, Nixon thought to himself, imaging a battle between her Majesty and her brother.

Who is this woman? She fights like a trained assassin, Audrey thought, marveling at the cold mannered woman’s smoothness in her combat style.

“Can I be your apprentice?” Audrey suddenly blurted out.

Skylar turned around and gave Audrey a cold stare that sent jolts down the girl’s spine.

“You’re too weak. Return to the Mainland at once, newcomer,” Skylar replied abruptly, opening up a portal and blasting a weak beam of magic, pushing Audrey gently into the portal and watching the girl disappear.

“Your Majesty, I was notified by an unknown being that the person who will reveal to you… your past is now in the Domain.” Nixon told Skylar formally.

“Who is this Unknown being?” Skylar questioned.

“I was instructed to say no further.” Nixon replied quickly. “Please excuse me, if you will,” Nixon said, feeling the barrier weaken as he stepped through it and got back on Atlantis’ back before opening up a portal to the Cornelius Isles.

(Jasper’s part will be uploaded hopefully later on today)

Mizuko- Siren

-

Mizuko was still busy looking for new furniture to decorate her room with when an all too familiar voice called out her name.

“Hey, Mizuko! What's up?” A blonde girl with pale blue eyes greeted.

“Hmm, oh, Hey there Summer,” Mizuko smiled upon recognizing the girl. “Nothing much, I’m just looking for a new set of bed sheets, covers, and curtains. I’m thinking of giving my room a new look, but I’ve not seen anything which tickles my fancy. Oh well, perhaps another time,” The siren said, turning to the demoness. “Anyway, how come you're still here so late at night? Did you close the shop late or something?”

-

Viriz- Forest Spirit

-

"Umm...well... I haven't had these wings until a few hours ago either. And I had comfy clothes on." The girl said, taking off her gloves. "And I wasn't glowing... I just freaked out and ran away... I'm kinda trying to figure out the same thing."

“Ah, so I guess we’re both in the same boat. Well that’s annoying,” Viriz said, voicing his dissatisfaction.

"Maybe we could try to concentrate really censored our human forms.... I saw that in a movie..." the girl suggested.

Rukath Soular-Manakete

Rukath wandered the market until he came upon a small bookshop where he entered in the hopes of finding some books so that he could read up on the workings of this world. The bell of the shop rang as he entered and the pale looking creature behind the desk barely looked up from his paper as Rukath entered. The Manakete looked around the small store that had shelves that reached the ceiling and were packed with books. He ran his finger across the spines of the books, getting an idea for where each book was.

Rukath passed over a basic Domain history text book and picked it up, it was evident that it had gone through many hands for the corners were frayed and the spine looked like it it had been repaired at least twice, Rukath also guessed that it was also outdated and was missing any recent events. The next book he picked up was another text book of equal wieght and size but it seemed to be an introduction to magic types and a few beginer spells for each. Ther final peice of information he picked up was a skinny economics pocket book that wenr over how the domains currency worked and how to use it properly.

Rukath carried his stack of books to the front desk and the seemingly board vampire called out a price before he could even set the books down, "fifteen white" he stated, barely casting the manakete a second glance. Rukath remembered what Summer had explained about the denomonations of the stones and pulled out a green gold and yellow gold and set them on the counter. The vampire scrapped the stones into his palm, looked at them and then dropped them in the till, "thank you, come again" he blankly said. Smiling, Rukath picked up his book and began walking down road towards the portals, the rest of his carmel stick wrapped up and stuck in a back pocket. As Rukath walked he found that the talons on his toes clicked lightly on the cobble stone road.

A flash of blue in the alley to his right caught Rukath's eye and out of curiosity he turned down the ally to see what it was. To his surprise it was another portal and his stood and watched as a female with violet hair and a gold head peice came out of the portal backwards, it was almost like she had been pushed through it.

Rukath cocked his head slightly, the female seemed familier but he did not recognise her. "Hello?" he called to her, his books tucked under one arm.

Ace Esper/ Sakura Esper- Pureblood Vampire(s)

[Ace]

Ace ran to the window to see his mother greet the visitors. Like Ace had detected, one of them was Nixon but the other was seemingly hiding away.

“I wonder who that could be?” Ace mumbled.

Skylar seemed to be conversing with Nixon for a short period of time before she unexpectedly removed her eye mask. Ace rubbed his hands together in anticipation.

“Mom is about to beat someone down!” The young vampire exclaimed. To his surprise, she didn’t target the trespasser but went on to attack two spying spirits, eliminating them with elegance. “Mom is so cool! I wanna be just like her one day,” Ace said with a glimmer in his eyes, directing his remark to his grandmother.

[Sakura]

Sakura began to worry when the blonde male didn’t respond to her at first, Has he never heard of the ‘Esper’ bloodline? Does he not know where I can find my brother?

Strangely, he began searching through the bags he was carrying. Sakura raised a brow, what’s he doing? She thought. Eventually, he took out a box of wagashi.

“Um, Miss Esper, would you like some while we go? I’ll take you to your family’s house,” he offered.

Sakura’s eyes, widened, they were one of her favorite treats. Suddenly, a flashback from the society entered the girl’s mind. The male vampire’s figure was replaced by that of her brother. Back when they were together in the dojo, he also approached her with a plate of wagashi when she was crying over some matter and ran to her favorite spot: a cherry blossom tree.

When the flashback ended, she could see the other vampire once again. Her eyes began to water once more, she couldn’t help but feel sad after being reminded of her brother’s kindness so directly. But she didn’t want to seem rude when he was offering her such an expensive sweet, so she accepted a piece and stood up.

“Thank you,” the white haired vampire bowed.

Ashley yawned, then started to panic, trying to remember where she was. This wasn't her room! Where was Silvius? Then something beside her moved. Did Snowy the cat sleep with her again? No, this thing had feathers and chirped. "Gem? Sorry, got a little dilerious there for a moment." She apologized, recognizing the little teacup dragon and rubbing her head. Gem purred in response with a little squeak and licked her face. Silvius poked his head in. He had been up early to train as always. "Morning sleepyhead." He greeted with a grin. "Morning bro." Ashley replied, yawning and noting a new outfit ready for her. It consisted of a blue tunic with a sort of flower design that she didn't recognize and brown leggings with tan boots. "Figured you'd wanna sleep in so the Yokai girl Minka put that out for you. She says the flowers are called pantherlilies or something." Silvius told her. "Oh and it's almost noon." He added with a wink before closing the door. Ashley rolled her eyes and got dressed. She had to admit that she liked the new look. There were even holes for her wings - which had vanished sometime during the night. She brought them back easily. Gem twittered, pointing at her tummy. "I know, you're probably hungry. Let's go get some brunch then explore, shall we?" Ashley suggested and Gem squeaked happily.

Summer

“Hmm, oh, Hey there Summer,” Mizuko saw the blonde and smiled. “Nothing much, I’m just looking for a new set of bed sheets, covers, and curtains. Oh well, perhaps another time,” The siren said, turning to the demoness. “Anyway, how come you're still here so late at night? Did you close the shop late or something?”

“Ooh, cool. Well I went out to stock up on ingredients we were running low on and I ended up coming across Cosme,” Summer answered, sulking towards the end, “And then things went downhill from there. It took forever to get him off my trail!”

“Ah, but forget about that,” she returned to her usual friendly demeanor. “Tomorrow’s Sunday. Should we all get together and hang out tomorrow?”

Mika

The girl’s eyes widened at the sight of wagashi. Mika figured it would cheer her up, but the newly awakened’s eyes began to water once more.

Cr*p, what am I doing wrong? He thought. The last thing he wanted was to trespass territory and get kicked out for 1) trespassing, 2) making the newly awakened Esper cry, and 3) perhaps saying something stupid concerning Zero.

The blonde vampire snapped out of his thoughts when the Esper accepted his offer and took a piece. She stood up, as did Mika.

“Thank you,” the white haired vampire bowed.

Mika let out a breath of relief. “No problem,” he mumbled, somewhat abashed. “Let’s get going then.”

He took his own piece and put away the box and walked ahead in the direction of the House of Esper, trying to figure out what to say next so that the walk wasn’t so awkward.

A while into the walk, he mustered the courage to ask, “What’s your first name, Miss Esper?”

Luchter Siegcador - Draconic Demon

“Ah, evening, Aki,” Luchter greeted a little belatedly, turning to see the werewolf halfway changing to her night dress. He promptly looked away, waiting for her to finish before answering her question, “Last time I checked, he was talking with Barok. It seems that they are getting along better than I expected.”

Luchter walked away from the balcony, entering his shared room with his wife. “Earlier, Father told me a possibility that the new Wielder attends the school in Mainland. His theory - well, it was Barok’s - convinced me enough, therefore I will pay a visit on Monday.”

Barok gently closed the door behind him. He stepped to the direction of his brother’s study but immediately halted when he heard a set of heels clicking against the marble floor approaching him. He turned to the direction of the source to see the princess of Helldomain and his niece, Elise. She stopped in front of the counsellor, eyeing him for a moment before opening her mouth; however, Barok quickly cut in.

“You wish to hear what Morgan had to say of your brother’s behavior, do you not, Princess?” he asked.

“Am I truly that easy to read, Uncle Barok?” Elise chuckled.

“Not normally. It is simply the only question you have been asking me as of late,” Barok said curtly.

“You can’t fault me, can you? I knew something was wrong with him a few months back but I didn’t expect it to turn out like this,” Elise uttered, heaving a sigh, “What did Morgan tell you?”

“He notices that lately, Prince Luchter frequently let himself lost in thoughts. One behavior I have been seeing for myself in recent times,” Barok replied.

“It seems that we are not the only ones, then,” Elise said, somewhat relieved, “I wonder if Mother or Uncle Jakob knows? They left for their duties before I could ask.”

“If either of them knew, they would have reported it to Xander long ago,” the counsellor pointed out.

“Fair point,” Elise agreed, “I suppose that is all for now. You have my gratitude for your cooperation, Uncle Barok.”

“I am honored to be of service, Princess. Now, if you will excuse me,” Barok bowed respectfully before striding past his niece, heading for the king’s study. Elise nodded in response, watching the counsellor on his way for a moment before heading to her own destination.

“Ooh, cool. Well I went out to stock up on ingredients we were running low on and I ended up coming across Cosme,” Summer answered, sulking towards the end, “And then things went downhill from there. It took forever to get him off my trail!”

Mizuko narrowed her eyes, forging a ki blade around her hand and swiftly slashing it through the air once.

“Is he still bothering you? I’ll cut him down to shreds if he is!” Mizuko threatened. “I know perfectly well how irritating guys, who don’t understand the meaning of ‘no’, can be!” she said angrily.

The Siren soon realised that she’d attracted quite the bit of attention by creating the energy blade, people all around the Market were looking at her.

(The energy blade, just imagine it emitting a faint blue light instead on an orange one.)

“Hmph,” the aquamarine haired girl crossed her arms.

“Ah, but forget about that,” Summer said, returning to her usual friendly demeanor.

“If you say so,” Mizuko muttered her reply, reluctantly.

“Tomorrow’s Sunday. Should we all get together and hang out tomorrow?” The blonde demoness suggested.

“You mean today, it’s passed midnight.” Mizuko corrected jokingly. The Siren considered the girl’s suggestion, placing her index finger on her chin. Well perhaps that would be a good idea, it’d give me an excuse to be away from my foolish mother. “Alright, sounds good.” she smiled.

“Ah, evening, Aki,” Luchter greeted.
Once I had gotten into my nightgown, he answered, “Last time I checked, he was talking with Barok. It seems that they are getting along better than I expected.”
I smiled at the thought of Morgan opening up to his granduncle, closing my closet door.
I looked over at my husband as he walked into our room from the balcony saying, “Earlier, Father told me a possibility that the new Wielder attends the school in Mainland. His theory - well, it was Barok’s - convinced me enough, therefore I will pay a visit on Monday.”
“Oh, that's great!” I exclaimed and then brought my voice back down. “Monday, hm? Let me come with you, if that's fine.”

Summer
“You mean today, it’s passed midnight.” Mizuko corrected jokingly which Summer rolled her eyes at.
The Siren was quiet for a moment as she considered the girl’s suggestion.
“Alright, sounds good.” she smiled.
“Great! I’ll go get in touch with Karis and Akemi,” the pyrokinetic said. “Let’s meet at the shop in the morning. See you then!”
Summer waved goodbye and went on her way.

Akemi~

Akemi leapt gracefully from roof to roof, moving lightly and swiftly, as she made her way to the sweet shop. She soon arrived at the marketplace, and wasn’t far from the aforementioned shop, when she suddenly felt a surge of energy. Curious, she changed direction and headed towards the direction it came from, the Kitsune felt as though she’d felt it before but from her distance it was hard to tell.

When she finally arrived at the source, her suspicion proved to be correct. The energy came from a ki blade made by Mizuko, who seemed angry about something. Opposite from her was another familiar face.

“Summer?” she said, puzzled, raising a brow. “Is Mizuko angry with Summer?”

The two carried on talking, until eventually Mizuko turned off the blade and appeared to have calmed down.

“No, I don’t think so. She must’ve been displeased with something else.” The light pink haired Kitsune inferred.

The Kitsune leapt down from the roof of a nearby building, performing a skillful somersault midair before landing elegantly on two feet in a nearby alley.

“Great! I’ll go get in touch with Karis and Akemi,” the pyrokinetic said. “Let’s meet at the shop in the morning. See you then!” she added before making her leave. When the blonde demoness left the scene, Akemi approached the Siren from behind.

“Meet in the morning for what?”

Ashley was soon done with her breakfast and went to explore on her own. She went to the mainland to see some of the sights. One Yokai she met told her of a candy store run by a few different monsters. She hummed as she walked, glad to have her iPhone. Turns out they got pretty good service down here. She also had a crystal for communicating with Silvius if she ran into trouble. Gem was riding in her pocket as she perferred. She'd even gotten permission from her parents to go on her own and she was able to find the candy store. "This is the place." Ashley mused, entering the shop. She decided to look around, her wings helping her get to the higher shelves. "See anything you like Gem?" She asked the little teacup dragon, wondering if there were any demons working the store. She'd never met any before so she wondered if they were anything like the ones in Inuyasha or shows like that.

(OK, I am at the shop and Ashley is open for interaction! Maybe someone can notice her buzzing around and help her find some candied fruit for Gem?

Technically speaking, the shop isn't open yet as Summer and Karis still haven't moved on to the next day so you’ll have to wait for me or DemonQueen to have our characters available if you're referring to Summer and Karis's sweet shop. Sakura Esper- Pureblood Vampire

[Sakura]

“No problem,” Mika mumbled, somewhat abashed. “Let’s get going then.”

Sakura nodded, beginning to chew on the piece of wagashi she was offered.

The girl was quite shy, so didn’t have the courage to start a conversation while they made their journey, despite the unwanted silence making things feel awkward. Luckily, the blonde spoke up, breaking the silence.

“What’s your first name, Miss Esper?” he asked.

Sakura had always been told not to reveal personal details to strangers, but for some strange reason she felt as though she could trust the boy. Eventually deciding to go with her gut feeling, she answered.

“Sakura, call me Sakura.” she replied, lowering her gaze and folding her hands together in front of her. “...and yours?” she added.

“Sakura, call me Sakura.” the young Esper replied, lowering her gaze and folding her hands together in front of her. “...and yours?” she added.
O...shoot, what’s my name? Mikaela thought, realizing he hadn’t used his name since the day of the incident five years ago. He quickly came up with a plausible vampire name.
“It’s, um, Mikaela,” he answered and then complimented. “I think Sakura’s a beautiful name.”

Arion West - Vampire

Arion opened one of his eyes. He was hoping to see the sun. But it was still quite dark. Oh come on! I never could sleep well, but this is ridiculous. His stomach growled. Great. I forgot to eat. He got up and went to the kitchen to find something. He tried to make tea, but failed miserably. When he pulled out a drawer, he found some weird looking gold. "Sweet, that must be money!" He was wondering if shops are open at this hour. Well, it doesn't hurt to look around.

Arion was walking down a quiet path when he heard two people talking. A blonde guy appeared. When he passed, he got to take a look at the other one as well. She was the most beautiful girl Arion has ever seen. Her silver hair was almost glowing in the moonlight. Than he noticed she's munching on something. That reminded him, why he left at the first place. Right. I think I can find the market... He stepped throught the portal, trying to remember how did he come here a few hours ago.

Luchter Siegcador - Draconic Demon

“Oh, that's great!” Aki exclaimed before speaking in a quieter tone, “Monday, hm? Let me come with you, if that's fine.”

“Certainly. Thank you, Aki,” Luchter said, smiling lightly.

Xander placed the last paper he had to sign that evening, sighing in relief. He began cleaning up his table when he heard yet another knock. Before he could permit them to come in though, his younger brother let himself in, ignoring the king’s disapproving glare.

“I did not utter my consent, Barok,” Xander chided.

“You would have let me in either way,” the counsellor said, dismissing his brother’s words. Before the king could utter a rebuttal, Barok swiftly cut in, “Princess Elise’s suspicion holds water. Morgan apparently notices Prince Luchter’s recent uncharacteristic behavior as well.”

“As do I. I experienced it first-hand moments ago,” Xander said, gesturing for Barok to take a seat opposite to him which the counsellor obliged.

“Do you know anything that could have befallen him in these few months?” Barok asked.

“No, I cannot think of any possibility,” Xander said, heaving an exasperated sigh, “Perhaps I have been focusing too much on my work to notice.”

“It wouldn’t do you good to disparage yourself, Xander. You have been doing a fine job balancing your time for work and for your family. If anything, you should be applauded.”

“I...am not so sure about that, Barok,” Xander muttered, earning him an indignant huff from the purple gray-haired man.

“With that type of attitude, I find it inconceivable that a man with a lack of self-confidence such as you could hold the highest position in Helldomain,” Barok remarked coldly.

“I never falter in my judgements, you know that above anyone else,” Xander retorted, “When it comes to emotional matters, however, that is a different aspect altogether.”

“Frankly, Xander, you can be so sickly modest sometimes.”

“What a hypocritical statement, dear brother. Do you not realize that whenever I thank you for your assistance, even in my hardest times, you would simply dismiss my gratitude politely?”

“I-” Barok quickly searched for the words to refute his brother’s claim, only to find it to be irritatingly true. The counsellor crossed his arms and closed his eyes, sighing in defeat. “Fine, it is your triumph.”

“Is that so? What an unexpected turn of events,” Xander said, letting out a chuckle, “It has been a while since we exchange banters, would you not agree?”

“I cannot deny that,” Barok said, smiling slightly, “But enough of this chattering. We have strayed too far from our initial discussion.”

“Right.” Xander brought his fingers against his chin, thinking of anything that could possibly drive his son to his current state, “This is a ludicrous proposition but what if we had been too preoccupied with the words ‘recently’? What if his change of attitude is caused by something that occurred back before Elise noticed the transition?”

“Something that transpired a long time ago?”

“Precisely. Something major, somewhere I, Lintan, and Elise could not keep my eyes on him, perhaps.”

“Are you sure about that, Xander? As far as I am concerned, the only time when such thing could occur is…” Barok halted in his words, unsure if he should tell his brother the answer.

“The Lost Invasion,” Xander muttered, finishing the counsellor’s statement, “I remember Elise telling me that the Guardians felt as if Luchter had not been in the same dimension as ours. Could something have happened to him in that period of time?”

“I admit it does sound plausible but it does not explain why the shift betide years after that godforsaken disaster,” Barok pointed out.

“I suppose you are right,” Xander consented, sighing.

“You should get some rest, Xander. As much as I would like to continue with our discussion, I will hate it if you wake up with eyebags,” Barok suggested.
“Heh, alright. Thank you for caring for my well-being, Barok.”
“It is nothing worth of grati-” Barok’s words faltered as soon as he realized what he was saying. Xander looked at him confusedly for a moment before realization dawned on him. The blonde demon smirked, laughing when the counsellor glared daggers at him.

“Xander, I detest you,” Barok said through gritted teeth.

“I love you as well, Barok.”

“It’s, um, Mikaela,” the blonde vampire replied. “I think Sakura’s a beautiful name.” he added, complimenting Sakura’s name.

The female began blushing slightly, “Thank you.” she said, averting her eyes. “Mikaela sounds pretty nice too...But I think I’ll call you Mika, if that’s alright?” She asked, smiling cutely.

Whilst they were talking Sakura saw a boy with olive eyes and navy hair cross paths with them, noticing how he stared at her briefly.

"Hmm?"

Aki

“Certainly. Thank you, Aki,” Luchter said, smiling lightly.
“Anything for my love,” I replied and walked up to my husband, placing my hand on his chest and planting a kiss on his cheek, “We’ll find the new Wielder soon.”
I stepped back and brightened up. “Let’s send Morgan to sleep now.”

Summer
Summer decided to stop by Akemi’s place first before heading back to Helldomain as the less time consuming route to ask her friends about plans for the morning. She knocked on the front door, receiving no answer.
I suppose it's expected that neither of them are awake at this time, the blonde thought, pulling out her spellbook from her bag. She flipped through to a page holding the spell Χαρτί σκέψης (Chartí sképsis) and read it out, summoning a piece of paper to hand and tapped on it to write what she had in mind. The page flowed a faint gold as letters flowed onto the paper, forming a quick note.
-
Hi Akemi, if you're not busy tomorrow (today, Sunday) come over to the shop and let's hang out. Mizuko’s coming and I’m sure Karis is free. We’ll plan at the shop tomorrow morning. Hope to see you then,
Summer~
-
The demon left the note at the doorstep and then began heading back to the Helldomain when she realized she had yet to ask Skylar. She considered heading there now, but reconsidered due to the time of day it was. I’ll just stop by the Manor before the shop’s open.
A yawn suddenly escaped Summer’s mouth.
Oh my, I’m more exhausted than I thought, she realized. The pyrokinetic debated on what to do, ultimately deciding to just tell Karis in the morning since she was likely asleep at this time. She decided to save herself time and use a teleport spell, “Ανάκληση στο σπίτι (Anáklisi sto spíti).”
White light enveloped Summer and she disappeared from the Shinto Shrines and appeared in her room of the Rainlight Mansion. She sighed and flopped onto her bed. Today was quite a long day.
She set a wakeup call for 7 from her bed and closed her eyes, instantly falling asleep.

Mika
Sakura blushed slightly, “Thank you.” she said, averting her eyes. “Mikaela sounds pretty nice too...But I think I’ll call you Mika, if that’s alright?” She asked, smiling sweetly.
Mikaela felt heat rise to his face, causing him to stare at his feet as he walked. “Sure,” he replied bashfully.
Should I come up with a nickname for her? The blonde contemplated. Saku would make a cute name- wait, what am I thinking? His face flushed even more. She said to call her Sakura. I shouldn't straight up call her by something else. Besides, I don't think I’ll see her again after this, no? I'm only taking her to her family’s place. Nothing more.
Despite what Mika told himself, his heart continued thumping quickly, butterflies fluttering in his stomach as he thought about what more to say to keep them from falling into an awkward silence.
“Hmm?” Sakura’s voice snapped the male vampire out of his thoughts.
He looked where the snow-white haired was looking and saw another male vampire roughly his age passing by, staring at Sakura briefly before continuing on his way.
Mika narrowed his eyes at the vampire, unsure why he felt mild hostility towards him. Perhaps it's because I’m walking a girl home? Argh! No, what am I thinking!
He was about the raise his hand to slap himself but caught himself and kept walking normally. Looking around, he realized it was about time to change directions. Up ahead, the road split into two paths, a marker telling him that they were getting close to their destination.
“Left,” the blonde instructed.

Karis
((DemonQueen gave permission to rp Karis for the moment))
After closing the store, Karis made her way home. The succubus washed and prepared to go to sleep. Her body ached from running errands and working all day in place of Summer. She sighed as she changed into her sleeping wear. “Thank goodness tomorrow’s Sunday.”
On Sundays, the shop opened later in the morning, allowing the red haired to relax and recharge.
As she climbed into bed, her thoughts returned to Summer. “At least she could truthfully tell me why she deliberately took the whole day off,” she muttered to herself. “Perhaps she found a new guy?”
Karis bolted upright at the thought of it and immediately shook her head, remembering her best friend’s typical reaction to guys. What am I thinking? I should get some rest. Today's work was just extra exhausting.
She laid down in bed, pulling covers over her, and fell asleep.

Audrey Chevalir - Vampire/ Nixon Cornelius - Pureblood Vampire

Audrey frowned grimly to herself as her request was denied so abruptly and pushed out of the unknown territory she was just in. She knew that if she returned, she’d still be trespassing, but part of her wanted to meet that woman again. The woman with pale blue eyes but had them covered with a blue cloth. It sent chills down her spine just thinking about the woman’s stare.

The Vampire’s thoughts then moved back to the words on the capes of the individuals. This time, the redhead had the term ‘Cornelius’ pinned to his shoulder.
That must be his last name, and when I tried to listen to him talk at the woman at the door, the woman said Ezio and Nixon. One of those must be his name. Ezio or Nixon Cornelius. The woman herself was definitely a trained fighter, you could see it in her moves and those two weapons she carried, Audrey pondered, her train of thought dragging on and on.
“One day, I will learn to fight from that woman, no matter how painful it might be. I want to be strong like her, and I will use it for good.” Audrey whispered, closing her eyes for a moment, and opening them again with a flash of gold.
Audrey snapped out of her state of thinking when a familiar faced called out to her. She immediately looked up and saw Rukath with a few books tucked under his arm.
“Hello Rukath, it’s nice to see you again. What are those books you have with you?” Audrey asked, her expression brightening just by the sight of him.
-
Jasper strummed the strings of the guitar, finishing the song with a few graceful moves of his experienced fingers and lifting his glasses, resting them on his forehead. The vampire placed the guitar in its case gently and clicked the clip shut before getting up from his seat and with a sigh, heading to the bathroom.
“I really do need a shower after today’s training,” he said, lifting his shirt, revealing a toned stomach and sniffing the cloth before sticking out his tongue with a quiet laugh.
“Yes you do sir,” Malzlahar agreed, dusting off another of Jasper’s old books with a  low chuckle.
“Oh, what would I do without you my dear friend,” Jasper replied, but looked down at his feet for a brief moment as his daily reminder that he’s lived most of his years a lonely isolated soul. It’s what a person who wielded dark magic had to do just for the sake of keeping other Supernaturals safe.
Shaking his consciousness back, he put a smile on his face before heading to the bathroom and slipping out of his clothes. He removed his glasses and placed them by the sink before adjusting the water to the correct temperature. He ran his fingers through his slightly oily hair before stepping into the shower and closing the curtain behind him.
Jasper came out and wrapped a towel around his waist, picking up his previous clothing and placing them in a basket. He made his way over to the dresser and picking out his clothes.
“Business casual Jasper, business casual,” he said with a playful smile, throwing on a blue and white checkered shirt accompanied by black dress pants, a perfect fit for his lean figure.
As he fastened his belt and tucked in his shirt, he made his way back to the bathroom and put on his glasses, looking at the mirror before realizing that his hair wasn’t done.
“I can’t go out of the Town of Mist looking unpresentable,” he muttered to himself, grabbing a hair drier and brush, blowing his hair dry in five-ten minutes.
Jasper then reached for some hair cream, rubbing some on his fingertips and weaving it through his hair and styling it to its usual slightly tousled but classy, professional look. He looked in the mirror and gave himself a joking thumbs up before pinning the ribbon to the back of his shoulder and exiting the Town of Mist to the Forgotten Forest. He was immediately greeted by some of the many citizens of the island.
“Ah yes, Lucia, it’s nice to see you again. I hope Bryce is doing well,” Jasper greeted with a short bow and quickly moved on towards his destination.
He waved politely and had small chats here and there with the people he’d met throughout his years, although he never treated them as if thy were his friends. Jasper personally disliked talking about his personal life. He hated to have others pity him. Jasper arrived at the coffee shop and asked the barista for a cappuccino with creme. Fixing his collar, he sat down and read the paper issued from the Silver Haven. Lucifer had dropped it off for him earlier. His eyes narrowed as his coffee was delivered to his table.
Part of the Silver Haven had fallen under an Eclipse that wasn’t expected for to happen. Strange. Seraphs usually always had been on top of predicting the future.
-
Nixon lead Atlantis back to his grazing field and opened up a portal to the kitchen of the castle, placing the ingredients down carefully before washing his hands. He opened up the drawer and selected a long sharp knife, placing it on the countertop along with a bamboo cutting board and turning the heat up in order to boil a bit of water. The Pureblood moved quickly, skinning the fish fillet with a single clean cut and slicing it into even, 1 inch sections. In the pan, he put in the finely cut sea cucumber along with some melted butter, clam juice, chopped carrots and potatoes. While the soup was cooking, Jasper wrapped the tuna pieces with a thin layer of sushi seaweed and placed it on a frying pan with a few drops of olive oil.
When he finished, he called everyone to a meal, serving them sesame tuna rolls sided with rice and siracha mayonnaise accompanied with seafood clam chowder.
“No wonder why there was a good smell coming from the kitchen,” Ezio complimented, sitting down and placing the neatly folded napkin on his lap.
“Glad to hear you’re ready to eat what I’ve prepared,” Nixon replied with a smile as he watched Quinn holding Imogen’s hand sitting down next to Ezio, followed by Xavier and Cassandra.
“Please enjoy what I’ve prepared for everyone,” Nixon said gently, sitting at the seat across from Ezio.

Lucy Lightpark - Fairy

Lucy was trying really hard to turn back to normal. The glowing was starting to really bother her. She squizzed her eyes, but nothing happened. Why?? She opened her eyes. Her hands were glowing stronger. What the...? She took a deep breath. What if it's... leading me somewhere? I'm going crazy, but it's worth a try.

She tried to turn to follow the glow. It "pointed" at the deer looking creature. Hmm? That's weird. She took a few steps carefully, trying not to scare the other, forgetting again, he's technically a human.

When she passed him, she noticed a little fresh scar on his legs. Her nice fairy side didn't let her pass, without trying to help. She put her hands above it, the glew up and the scar started to heal. She screamed iternally and jumped back. No no no... I'm not doing that... there's no way.... She looked at the creature. It almost seemed like, he didn't even notice a thing. She took a few deep breath and stepped closer. She put her hands above the scar, and concentrated on healing the wound. Her hand glew up, and faded away a few seconds later. She was back to normal and the scar totally disappeared. "No...way..." She felt the panic coming back, so she tried to snap out of it.

"Umm... by the way my name is Lucy. Um...d...do you have a name...sir?"

Luchter Siegcador - Draconic Demon

Luchter felt himself relaxing to Aki’s touch, smiling when she uttered her words of encouragement. No matter how much the stress of his impending demise took a toll on him, the prince’s love for his wife never faltered. That, he was sure of.
“Alright then,” Luchter muttered as he exited his room, heading to his son’s quarters. He waited for Aki before knocking the door and peeking inside. Morgan was lying on his stomach on his bed looking at the door, the novel he had borrowed resting open before him. A bright smile creeped its way to the young demon’s visage as soon as he registered his father’s face. He quickly scrambled off his bed and jogged to the door, pushing it wider to see his mother beside his father as well.
“Hi Daddy, hi Mommy!” Morgan greeted exultantly, waving his hand, “Is it time for me to sleep now?”

Rukath Soular-Manakete

Rukath realized that the violet haired female before him was none other than Audrey. She was now elegantly dressed with a gold mask covering part of her face and her once violet eyes were now a shining gold. Rukath shook his head to stop himself from staring and to answer Audrey's question, "oh um, one's a history of the Domain, the other large one is  textbook on beginner's magic, and the small one is on the economic workings of the Domain.. turns out they use a completely different currency here" Rukath told her, displaying each book as he mentioned it.

"Man, pop culture back in the Society really does not do vampires much good.. did your awakening give you your clothing or was that in your dwelling?" Rukath asked, curious why he only lost his shoes and did not gain some new garb.
