Aki (Hikaru) Yonaka ~ Werewolf

-after the battle-

I started practicing my air manipulation. Luckily the woods seemed empty. Huh, where did everyone go? I thought about today's events so far as I practiced summoning air to my needs. I got accepted into a pack. Then I saw two powerful werewolves fight. Next I got a vision on how to summon air. And then some more trouble. I became a murderer and left a dead body outside of the Alpha's home. I angered an entire pack of werewolves. I'm probably on their to kill when there's a chance list. I probably gained a lot of hate. Well, haters gonna hate. I sighed and cleared my head. The best thing to do was to practice and train, get stronger, and fight better. I lifted myself from the ground. The air held me up and I tried to walk. I imagined my mother wind walking. Clear head. Command wind. Take a step. I stepped onto a stable surface. I released tension within me. Having that vision was very helpful. If I didn't know about my family powers, there was no way I would've survived before. I fell to the ground. "Ow!" I cried out. I stood up and dusted my clothes. Ok, I wasn't good enough to manipulate air half absent minded. I hovered again. I took a few steps forward. Well, this was better. I jumped and landed safely on the air holding me. It felt good to be in the air and off the ground. I started to giggle. The pleasure of being high above everyone else was overwhelming me. I jumped higher and higher till I was above the trees. Sunlight shone brightly on my skin. It was nothing like in the woods. Clear fresh air surrounded me. There was no scent of werewolves all around. Nothing to fear. I ran and free fell and caught myself and Jumped right back up to have more fun again. The wind carried me pretty far from my home. Soon the Howling Woods was out of sight and I found myself at an entirely different island. It's reddish atmosphere was like the one I saw in my vision. As I marveled the sight, a wind knocked me off balance and I fell through the sky. "C.rap!" I shouted. I didn't realize how exhausted I was until now. I tried to stop myself from falling but the air wouldn't hold me. I smashed into the ground and tumbled around for a while. I groaned when I finally stopped. I grasped for the ground trying to find my senses again. I felt something soft. Was it... Skin? I looked down and I was face to face with a demon. He radiated a beautiful and warm aura. It danced with fire; not angry like the beta's aura but a softer aura. It gave me a secure feeling, whispering that I'll be ok. The wind blew again and I breathed in his scent. It was pleasant, like a field of flowers. I stared at him for a moment, lost in a trance. His aura wrapped around mine and I let the feeling sink in. His aura felt so good as I embraced it- if only it could last forever.

Drake Kendrick ~ Alpha Werewolf

" WHAT?! YOU LOST TO WHO?!" Jack shouted after Drake confessed his failure. Drake had took several steps back in fear, but his father followed him and grabbing him viciously by the neck. " ANSWER ME!"

Drake's looked like they were about to pop out his head. " I lost.....I lost to.....Zero Esper. His eletrical attacks were just too strong for me to continue fighting him." He quickly said.

Jack growled, openeing his mouth to reveal his barred teeth and fangs. His eyes stared deeply into his son's. " WE KENDRICKS NEVER LOSE! ESPECIALLY TO VAMPIRES! I'M SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOU!" He continued to shout. " I'm going have a little talk with him." He slammed his powerful, clutched fist into his palm.

" No, don't." Drake said, stopping his father from leaving. " Glave has given me an ability that will make me even stronger. Once I learn how to use it, I will challenge his son to a rematch. I have allowed two werewolves to join my pack, one who's fierce and mighty, and the other I do not know much information about. She's a little mysterious, but she should be a good warrior to have on my side. Glave says this ability to called Alpha Mode. It will allow me to gain my pack's abilities added on to my current ones. I should be able to easily take out his son now."

" Hmph, very well. Go practice your new ability. Then, show that kid who's boss. But if you lose this fight, I will show you no mercy."

Drake sighed in relief. " Thank you." He rushed up back to the surface to go find his pack.

"Could be worse," I replied simply, then placing my memo pad back into my pocket.

I wonder what Cresela thinks of Zero. Surely she must have some kind of feeling, since she did try and attract him in the first place, and I had to send out the threads. I must say that an act like that was extremely risky, but not as casting spells are. Those threads did not accomodate any magical force, since I didn't cast any spell on them. I'll make sure to watch Cresela attentively, get to her that I'll defend Zero against her attraction field with my life if that's what it really takes. I'll put confidence on my side when it comes to Zero and only him, I thought to myself, pulling my hood even more over my head so that my eyes were nearly covered.

Hopefully they didn't start to glow red when I was thinking such mallicious thoughts like this. I let my feet touch the floor again and stood up slowly, eyeing Zero. His clothes were torn and there were many traces of coquelicot blood staining his once white clean clothing. I clenched my teeth bitterly, holding myself back from the temptation.

Evelyn, this is no time to be thinking about blood intake, Aurelion's voice whispered.

Oh well, heh heh, I think I can control myself, since my desire for blood isn't as strong now in comparison to...before...I thought back, a little embarassed.

You should be with Zero right now. He's weak from all the fighting and could use possibly your blood to have his regeneration go quicker, Aurelion's voice rang clearly.

I raised an eyebrow, for this wasn't something I'd normally hear from a celestial dragon.

Haha, very well. However, I will not force anything upon him, it's ultimately his decision, beacuse I only want the best for him, I replied, then started down to the arena without looking back at Cresela.

I believe that it's a Pureblood's blood that will give him the best effects, I thought again, before reaching the rim, where the seating ended and right below was the arena.

I gracefully jumped down and my feet landed with a nearly silent thud. I approached Zero's figure slowly until I was standing before him.

"I apologize for taking too much of your blood earlier. Would it be alright if I helped speed up your regeneration so that you could get back to your dwelling and change?" I asked quietly, feeling my face warming.

Zero heard Skylar offer him her blood, though his regeneration took care of his injuries a while ago he was still exhausted, there were only pools of scattered blood of his from the attacks and wounds from both sides. Zero could not refuse the temptation to have a go at that blood again "Eh...Yeah I'll have some" Zero muttered. He stood up and bit Skylar's neck, though this time he only took enough to satisfy his tastes not his hunger. Zero finished relatively quickly. "Thanks...Skylar" Zero said. He stood on his dynamos and hovered up a little "What? I no longer live in my dwelling, I live in my families house. It's by far better than that old dump" Zero informed her. "But yeah, I'm gonna need a new set, I bet my mother's been worried sick. She doesn't even know what's going on...at least I don't think she does" Zero said with uncertainty.  He looked up at Cresela and then back down to Skylar. "Well I'm off back to my house to get a new set, and inform my mother of what just happened! Would you both like to come..." Zero was about to offer for them to visit his house, when a voice called out in his head.

"No! I will not allow any Stranger's into my house, do you understand Zero?!" Glave said in a serious tone.

"ALRIGHT!...Fine" Zero said disappointed. He looked at Cresela and Skylar once more "Strangers...are they really! Hmph" Zero lifted off and teleported himself to House Esper

This time when Zero bit into my neck, it wasn't as painful. I was plainly glad that he was healed. He was quick to finish, quick to begin with, but I was glad. He then told me he didn't live at his dwelling anymore, but at his family's house instead.

True, Riven has not showed me where she lives, but if I am invited to stay there permanently, I might as well do so. The dwellings in the Forgotton Forest has gotten boring, and it was time to travel to a new island, I thought to myself, when Zero was going to invite me somewhere, but his voice was cut off suddenly.

I watched as he got up on his Dynamos and teleported somewhere, probably to his family house. I quickly turned for the exit and dashed out of the arena. Once again, things were peaceful and all was...normal. My standards for normal have changed over time, and so have my views on males in general. I sighed to myself as I leapt back up into the trees, where I couldn't be seen.

"The pulse that runs through me, allow me to be the master of the void. I request you take me to the lowlands of the Great Cliffs. I shall go through my next training session with Riven." I said with my hands clasped together, waiting for the portal to open before me.

I stepped in and landed back in the beautiful scenery. This was all too familiar...the place where Zero said he could never like a person with such a low self esteen. I looked down at my shoes and scolded myself on why I should've never said anything. At this point, I can only hope for the better with Zero in the future.

"Magic Forces black and white. Beaching through, space and light. Be he far or be he near, bring me the Star Forger. Aurelion Sol here," I said in a stern tone and watched as my dazzling familiar materialized.

"I'm ready for my next training session with Riven. Do your regular boundary and send me off. Quickly please," I said with a smile.

           "As you wish."

       Then all was suddenly black.

When Zero arrived in House Esper he was immediately confronted by his mother, Kiana.

"Where were you Zero? You had me worried Sick" Kiana scolded. Zero informed Kiana of the whole situation. "You battled Drake Kendrick, Jack's son?"

"...Yes, farther told me to" Zero replied

"I see" Kiana said. I wonder what Glave's deal is making his own son fight such deadly opponents so early in. I'm started to become worried for his well being even if he is the son of Glave! She thought to herself.

Zero entered his room and found a set of clothes identical to his torn ones, and changed into them. It appeared as though that was the only set of clothes that was stocked up in his cupboard. Zero was changing when Glave mysteriously appeared in the room "F-farther?!"

"I have come to address you regarding a certain matter which has recently been brought up to my attention. Those 2 girls....Whether you'll admit it or not I know you hold interest in both of them even though it may not be to that extent yet. It soon will be. I have just come to let you know that the only reason I'm going to let you hang around with them is to make you stronger. I was once told that loving someone dearly will greatly increase your power in a crisis, it's the only reason I married your mother..."

"N-no, you mean you don't love...mom"

"Of course not, she's only a means to get stronger...though I am failing to hold faith in this belief as my power hasn't increased one bit" Glave said angrily. Zero looked down in shock and sadness at his farther's words...his mother was only being used, the women Zero cares most dearly about. "Look Zero, hang around with, which ever you like. Just make sure they make you stronger...if not...remove them" Glave said laughing evilly before he vanished. Zero couldn't sleep at all that night still finding hard to fathom his farther's words. He got up in the morning looking depressed.

"Zero? Are you alright?" His mother asked. There was no reply. "Well how about you go to the Hot Springs in the mainland that'll cheer you up" His mother said with concern.

Zero left the house with no reply and just headed over to the Hot Springs in a beautiful forest in mainland. It looked like a heavenly place. It was calm, beautiful vegetation and a harmonious place. Zero then took of his top and stepped into the Hot Spring. The Water was of medium-hot temperature, very soothing and relaxing. He leaned back against a rock looking up at the sky trying to erase what his farther had told him.

         ~Dream State~

I woke up in the familiar rainy salt plains in a sitting position. The slight breeze made my hair sway in the wind each strand having a mind of its own. I touched my neck and realized that my cloak was off and the dress that I was wearing underneath was revealed.

Shoot, where could it be? I thought to myself, looking around for it, but all I could see for miles into the horizon was the seemingly never ending emptiness.

"Hello Evelyn. Looking a little depressed today, eh, eh?" I heard Riven's gentle voice behind me.

"Did you marry Heathcliff because you loved him?" I asked shyly.

"What is this all of a sudden?" Riven shot back at me with a cold glare.

"I was just curious since you never say anything about him," I muttered quietly.

"Just to clarify, it was nothing like love at first sight" Riven remarked sternly.

"I never said it was. I jus-" I started to say.

"If this is dealing with that Zero Esper, approach him with caution. His abilities are powerful and although you can resist all elements and cast spells, it won't be enough to stop time. I overall think that he does not fit enough to deserve a person like you," Riven said flatly.

"Give me persuading reasons on why you think this is so, then," I hissed.

"Although his abilities are powerful, I highly doubt that he will be able to take responsibility of protecting a spell caster, such as you. I'm sure that the Headmaster has already talked to you about avoiding Dark Magic, but I have a much different view on that. It's all fate. You were meant to be the next master of Dark Magic and the fact is inevitable. Just try, try to find a guy that could defend such a girl. There are still many things you have not learned about yourself, and those things are the most dangerous to handle. You must embrace yourself to face what I'll need to pass on to you in the future." Riven replied, smoothing her clothing.

"Are you saying that because I'm your daughter?" I asked.

"No, I'm only saying this because when you grow older, you will learn how dangerous you truly are, and how you pose a huge threat to even other Pureblood families. You require someone who is truly goes above and beyond when it comes to capability and strength." Riven replied again, tilting her head to the left.

"Is there any way for someone to prove themselves worthy of me then?" I asked Riven.

"Of course. When it came to marraige, Heathcliff had to battle Diana the Dark Valkyrie, my mother's familiar," Riven responded in a prideful voice.

"Does that mean...nevermind. Let's get on with the actual training. So what will I be learning today, Riven Nicodemus?" I asked, standing up.

"How to master Dual Wielding without magic," Riven replied with a sly smile.

"The battle's over," Luchter thought as the two fighters left the arena. He should probably ask Jakob to take him back home but figured his uncle needed some time. He, himself, felt that he needed some time alone as well. He sighed and left the arena, deciding to take a walk around the arena.

"So Glave and Jack were after me. Is this why father and mother sent me to Earth? Does this also explain why KIana wanted my blood when we first met? More importantly," Luchter stopped walking and glanced back at the arena. "Are they still after me?" He looked down and closed his eyes. He couldn't believe his own power had given him so much trouble, even when he was still an infant. Not to mention it had given others trouble as well.

Luchter snapped out of his thoughts when a sudden impact landed onto him. It happened too fast that his brain could barely comprehend anything. He stumbled and fell onto his back. Then, he felt something grasped his skin. He opened his eyes and found himself face to face with someone. A girl, a stranger and Luchter had a feeling that she was a werewolf, though it didn't exactly feel so. He caught her staring at him and it made him noticed how close they were. Regardless, he stared at the girl back and propped himself onto his elbow.

"Did you just fall from the sky or something?" Luchter asked.

Zero submerged deeper beneath the water, he stretched out his arm and picked a leaf from a nearby by bush. He placed picked it with his four fingers from his right side holding the top and his thumb from the bottom. Back in the Human Zero was taught how to play a leaf flute by his foster parent. He placed the Leaf in his mouth and started playing an elegant tune, hoping it would rid the disheartening thoughts clogging up in his mind.

When Zero and Skylar began to walk off, I stood up from my seat and jumped up into the air. My wings caught the wind and sent me down towards them, when they both disappeared. I flapped my wings forward, forcing myself to an abrupt halt, the tips of my shoes dragging slightly across the ground before I drew myself up again.

I surveyed the area, trying to see where they had gone, but it appeared that they had both just ditched me.

Well, I thought to myself angrily, I'll just have to find them again.

A few strong wingbeats later and I had a clear view of the whole arena. But no matter which way I looked, I had to accept the fact that they must have teleported away. Feeling defeated, I slowed my wings and slowly floated back towards the ground.

Spssspsssst something behind me whispered. I whirled around, but was greeted with nothing. The arena looked just the same as it had before. The voice whispered again, but was joined by another one, and another one, until it seemed that they were all around me. Feeling frantic now, I glanced around until my eyes fell upon a small red pool lying on the arena floor. Immediately the whispers stopped, but as soon as I turned my gaze slightly from it, they started again. This time I focused on the pool, and stepped towards it.

It was a few drops of Zero's blood. Something told me that it was his, and not the mutt's. Something also told me to focus on it. Almost instantly I was greeted by the same view I experienced when I tried to become invisible; around me, I could see not only my own signature, but a bright myriad of colours, clearly everybody elses. I glanced around, and noticed something strange. I was still knelt by Zero's blood, which I shouldn't of even been able to see here.

The pool reflected something even brighter than the other signatures, making them seem dull in comparison. I felt the urge to shield my eyes due to how bright it was, but still, I forced my head up.

This is called scrying, the mysterious voice in my head informed me. Whereas before the voice had seemed nothing more than a rather boisterous thought, now it echoed around my head, containing within it a rather sinister and ominous note within it's chords. It takes a piece of somebody, a close object or a part of them, to detect them. The signature above you is Zero's; it can guide you to where he is, but can not take you there directly. The last word shook my mind slightly, making me feel briefly disoriented; I waited a few seconds more, but it seemed the voice had finished speaking.

Zero's signature was a deep, blue-purple colour that seemed to constantly swirl around, containing little white dots that seemed like stars. It radiated a sweet warmth that drew me near it, and I reached out my imaginary hand to touch it.

Almost immediately images raced through my mind, before finally coalescing into a coherent one. It was like watching a video; it showed me the arena from a third-person viewpoint. A could see a small purple dot on the ground, which was clearly me. Barely had I managed to focus on that before it sent me racing through the exit and across a large section of terrain. I quickly lost track of which direction I was headed, until I reached a beautiful green spring. Before I could look closer at it, I was thrown backwards from the spring as I collided with some invisible force, and the vision ended. I was still in my kneeling position, but I quickly stood up, still feeling slighty dizzy.

A map seemed to form in my mind, showing me where I had to go. But before I left, I decided to make sure I had a way of knowing where Zero was if he moved again... if that even was where he was. Bending down, I used an index finger to dab a small bit of the drying blood on the back of my left hand. Finally ready to leave, I raised my wings and gave one powerful beat, sending me soaring out of the arena.

Zero played the leaf flute, his mind racing through what Glave said. He still couldn't believe it...or more like, he didn't want to believe it. His so called farther doesn't even care about his wife, does that mean he doesn't care about his son either. Zero stopped playing the flute and looked up at the sky once more Maybe...Maybe it's better if I erase those two from my life, like Glave suggested. I should probably try to avoid them. I don't want to end up being like my farther...and use them, no, It's not right. Zero said his head starting to ache and slowly becoming more painful.

~Dream State~

I was panting heavily, still managing to keep my blades in hand. I looked down to see a drop of blood fall to the floor and splattered. I think I figured the reason why my cloak was taken. It was to prevent me from using any healing spells and eliminate the protection it provided. When I usually wore the cloak, it formed a field of energy that allowed me to detect any movement and sense aura strenth of anyone who was in the field. There was a thick liquid flowing down the side of my face, staining my hair and clothing.

"I suppose this is only for the best," I murmured to myself, standing up straight again.

I bent my knees slightly to prepare for the next monster to come at me. I watched in horror as more than one monster came foward slowly and looked at each other in agreement.

Riven never said anything about using more than one monster, that little, I thought to myself as I flipped a blade in my hand and dashed fowards.

I started with a basic attack, throwing one blade hitting an enemy then hitting the other enemy. I caught the blade mid air and moved onto my next attack combo. I set up my threads on the fencing and I was quickly lifted upwards. I then pointed my blades downward and one enemy was eliminated. There was no need to use an ultimate skill, so I quickly finished the remaining enemy with a simple spin of my body. I watched as the fences lowered and the remaining blood somehow seeped into the ground with no trace of violence.

"Good Evelyn, you are learning quickly. Don't worry, the next time you have dual wielding training, it will be against myself, so prepare yourself," Riven said.

"I honestly couldn't care less if you're not going to tell me about Heathcliff," I muttered before calling to Aurelion to return me to the world of reality.

"Well, how about a change of plans then?" Riven offered with a cunning smile.

"Tch, what could it be, I wonder?" I replied sarcastically, looking away from Riven.

"Would be interested in learning how to fly without wings?" Riven said in an odd tone.

"Learn how to fly without wings? Yeah, sure, like something like that could happen...only in a fantasy," I shot back at Riven, rolling my eyes.

"All you need to do it is your cloak, and that's the main reason why I took it away from you," Riven said, handing my cloak back to me.

I snatched my cloak quickly from her cold hands and swung it around my body. I then clicked the metal peice into place right under my chin and looked back at Riven with a menacing expression.

       "Liar." I said flatly.

"I am not lying. It's a method that was first mastered by Heathcliff. I was much too old to learn it myself, but I was told that it was possible to pass the skill on to a younger being, and it would only make sense if I chose to give the skill to you, right?" Riven said gently.

"Fine, you can teach me all you want about flying next time. I'll be going now." I replied.

~State of Reality~

"Turns out I didn't ask her if I could visit her house," I whispered to myself, getting back onto my feet and then allowing Aurelion to return to the Dream State.

Learning how to fly without wings, eh? Impossible, I thought to myself before looking down at my clothes and raising an eyebrow.

My clothes were all dirty and covered in blood stains. I could still feel the aching of my back and the throbbing in my fingertips. There was a deep scratch in my shoulder and the wound itself was still wide open. The pain was scorching, but I couldn't touch it, for it would only make it worse. I cursed under my breath and started my way back to the simple dwelling where I would shower and change.

Fear the mighty power of mangoes!

Alisson felt like she was missing something, and even worse, she had completely lost Tobias' scent when she was distracted by a squirrel, leaving her stranded in the woods. Alisson snorted and paced on the dirt, the earthen smell filling her nostrils. She turned her head sharply. She could feel something. She could sense the shape of a deer moving in the woods. Ally crept forward, peering around a large redwood. A white-tailed fawn was bounding through the underbrush. Ally shook her head.

Don't get distracted, Ally, she told herself, turning and going in the direction she thought she could hear Werewolves in. Ally was extremely bored, so she began singing a song. She wasn't even sure what song it was, but she did it whenever she was bored. I wonder what happened to that Drake boy, maybe his dad killed him, Ally wondered, walking to the beat of the song in her head. Ally had this odd feeling, like she was confined, like she couldn't move properly, like wearing shoes that were too small and not being able to wiggle your toes.

Ally barely even noticed the feeling of confinement dissappearing. She was suddenly a lot taller, and her senses had lit up. She could feel the breath from her nose blowing the fur on her muzzle, every leaf was crystal clear, everything just appeared in more detail. Ally stopped in her tracks and looked down at her body. Well, it appeared her body had decided to turn into a Werewolf without her mind's consent.

*

In a while Ally had arrived back at the 'village'. There was a big male Werewolf that was staring her down. Ally didn't notice him at first, because his brown fur fit in perfectly with the trees. Only when she saw his bright red eyes she turned around and almost fell on her tail. "Sorry if I scared you. I'm Timber. You look like you're new here." the male Werewolf apologized, not sounding sorry at all. Timber took a step towards Ally and took in a good sniff through his nose. Ally was a little bit surprised that he was just wandering around in his Werewolf form, but then she told herself she was a stupid hypocrite, since she was doing the same.

"Oh, hey...Timber?" Ally had a questioning tone to her voice. Timber didn't sound like a real name to her. The Werewolf rolled his eyes.

"Timber is a real name, look it up," he snorted, narrowing his eyes at Ally. She noticed his eyes were swirling like a pinwheel, mixed with orange as well as red. Ally had read a book where things called Chaos-ridden had eyes like that. It didn't give her more comfort. "Now, enough with the small talk, I'm talking to you for a reason. I follwed your scent here. You seem strong. I want you to fight me. Wolf on wolf." Timber ordered.

Ally had never fought anyone before. Well, unless you counted her friend Jackson at her old school, but that was different. She wasn't trying to actually hurt him. Ally took a step back. "Er, yes, I suppose, we could...do that." Ally agreed hesitantly. Timber smiled wickedly at her.

"Okay, Alisson Gunderson, you seem like a worthy opponent."

I finished dressing and looked at the mirror, checking the wound on her shoulder and wrists. The thin figure looked back at her with vacant eyes, yearning for something, but she didn't know what that something was.

Evelyn, do you really want to be with Zero that much? Aureion's voice called in my head.

What do care for? Well, yes I do to some degree...I responded shyly.

You do realize I can use the rest of my magic and wait a half hour cooldown, right? Aurelion said again.

Do whatever you think is the most beneficial, I thought, starting to button my coat.

I can currently sense his aura. I can tell you that the energy revolves around the hot springs located on the mainlands. I'll open up a portal to the forest that it is located in and you go from there without me. In that time, you must be extremely cautious since I need to wait my cooldown, Aurelion spoke.

I watched as a blue portal opened in the middle of the room. I reluctantly stepped in and landed on a patch of soft grass. My black flare coat wasn't buttoned up all the way, revealing my shirt so I quickly finished off the buttoning and grabbed my cloak, which had came with me through the portal. I clicked the metal peice right under my chin to hide Aurelion's necklace and tied the laces on my boots.

"I really should've done this while I was still at the dwelling," I muttered to myself.

There was heat coming from somewhere, somewhere that was the cause of the air being humid. I scrunched my face expression, since I never favored humid weather anyways. Suddenly a distinct sound was to be heard, a smooth sweet sound, like a pink sunset. I hurried and leapt into the trees, following the source of the sound. I dashed among the branches when I suddenly halted to a stop and my eyes widened. I had misplaced a step and I crashed down onto the hard ground below. I landed with a loud and painful thud. I slowly struggled to my feet and nearly fell back down.

It was Zero mostly submurged in the waters of the hot springs with only his head and part of his upper body above the water. It took me a few seconds to realize that he didn't have his regular top on and it almost made me fall backwards again. I tilted my head to the left and shifted my eyes away from him as my face started to feel warm.

"Well, what did your mother or father say? I'm just assuming that you went back to your family's house after you said that to me in the arena." I asked, my gaze still fixed away.

I was telling myself that I had no intention of seeing Zero without his shirt, but the urge was great. I was plainly lucky I had such great control over these type of things.  Under my cloak, I could feel my hands start to sweat and Aurelion couldn't help me through this.

I wonder how long I'm gonna last, I thought to myself before laughing a bit.

Zero's eyes suddenly swung open when he heard a voice from behind him...It was Skylar. Crap, How'd she find me. And here I was thinking it would be better I forget about her, argh! He heard her ask him as to what his parents had told him regarding the fight. I don't want to tell her. Not that she'd care anyway...after all she did say she couldn't careless when it came to my mother's wants. Hmph. That's the one thing I don't like about you Skylar Krymark. "...Well my mother was a little surprised and a little mad to, since she said I shouldn't fight such strong opponents so early in. But she was happy to hear I won!" Zero said hesitantly taking a sigh, he had not yet turned to face the girl. Zero then looked down into the water "...Any particular reason you came here?, Skylar" Zero asked. Though Zero wanted to tell her to go away since he was afraid of using her, he didn't know how to tell her ; afraid of hurting her feelings, from What Zero had seen Skylar gets easily upset.

With a slight pant, I landed on the thick tree branch and sat down, my legs dangling over the side, to catch my breath. My wings ached, and I moved my hands back to massage their joints.

I scanned my mind again as I looked around, trying to recall the path. This was about where the scrying had stopped. Where was Zero, the-

A sweet tune drifted through the woods, making me feel soft and warm inside. My eyes turned to where the sound was coming from, which appeared to be from the bark of the tree that I was sitting on. I pressed my ear up against it; no, it wasn't from the tree; it was from something behind it.

Cautiously, I moved my head out from behind the tree, and saw a path leading up to a lovely blue spring. Now that I thought about it, I could hear the running water, and feel the cool humidity in the air, which was already hard at work soothing my wings.

I scanned the bit of path beneath me, before sliding off the tree and using my wings as a parachute. The landing was graceful, and I managed to avoid the stray leaves and twigs carelessy scattered around my surroundings. Ahead of me, the music still went on, so I carefully began to walk down the path, making no noise whatsoever as I moved. As a precaution, I stopped temporarily and made myself invisible; the source of the song could be friend, but it could also be foe.

The clearing rose up in front of me, along with a crescendo of noise from the running water. Around me, small, colourful flowers danced in a slight breeze which seemed to waft through the area along with the slight steam that the hot springs created. Ahead of me, I could see Zero.

It seems that scrying does do the job after all I told myself smugly.

Abrubtly, the music cut off, along with the pleasant atmosphere. A voice rang out into the clearing, and I quickly stepped backwards towards some bushes, as if trying to hide myself again despite the fact I was already invisible.

*After the whole... what should your ship name be? Skylero? Zelar? moment*

Of course, it had only been Skylar. Of course it couldn't of been anything remotely interesting. Though, it was funny hearing them talk to each other, and Skylar looked too embarrassed to look at Zero. I had no such shame; if he was outside with his upper half naked, then he clearly had no qualms about being seen. I did so enjoy seeing Skylar squirm, though; I would have to remember that mental image.

Smiling yet again, I stepped out into the clearing and cast aside my invisibility spell, smiling at the both of them as I did so.

"Well, this is a lovely gathering, isn't it?"

* (After whatever Skylar says to my first post)

"Gaaaaaah, What the..." Zero turned in shock to the sound of a second voice. To his surprise it was Cresela "You to?!..." Zero exclaimed in shock. How on earth do they do it? How did they both find me? HOW! Zero was telling himself. But when he looked at Cresela she was looking directly at him, unlike Skylar Well that's what you'd expect from a demon, even more so from a Succubus. I quickly submerged even further, so only my neck and head was showing. "Ah Cresela what brings you here?..." Zero said said nervously, his voice staggering as it dragged behind his mind wondering whether asking a demon that question was a good idea. Here I was thinking about forgetting about them both, yet here they are. Both of them...Wha-What will I do, If, if, if they decide to step in the springs to... Zero gulped, his mind trembling.

I grinned at Zero, and laughed slightly.

"You both ditched me! But you can't get away from me, you know," I said jokingly, raising my fingers up to my dress' laces at the back.

Tugging on the laces, my dress fell down onto the ground beneath me as I also slid out of my shoes. Simultaneously I cast an illusion spell on me, causing my underwear to look like a bikini; in reality it would get a little bit soggy, but the hot air here would make it dry off quickly and if need be I could always see if I could hitch a ride home to replace it quickly. I took a couple of hair elastics off my wrist and tied up my hair into two long pigtails.

((You'll have to pretend the wings are there and the hair is down to her waist... it's hard finding decent pictures >.<))

My wings flapped, propelling me forward towards Zero, but I stopped just in front of him and put a finger on his nose.

"I booped your snoot," I said teasingly before I spun around and slid into the pool next to him.

"I see. I was simply on my way to somwhere when I heard something, which turned out to be your flute. How could you even stand this, even more getting in water that releases steam?" I said, rolling my eyes and wiping the collected vapor off my pale cold skin that shined luminously.

Maybe my explanation wasn't all accurate, but I was on my way to the Town of Mist. If I really had to admit it, some part of me is fearful of what lies ahead of the bridge, I thought to myself, still turned away.

I was thinking of something to say when Cresela popped up out of nowhere. I immedately felt my senses perked up as I bared my teeth while still turned away from the two. It was pretty much expected for Cresela to look directly at Zero, I mean she's a demon after all, but demons cause nothing but misfortune.

Riven told me to stay away from Zero, so why am I here. I really don't belong in this current position as at least a friendly acquantaince. I'm not sure what Cresela thinks of him, but I'll be sure to find out soon, I thought to myself, pulling my hood over my silver hair.

I heard Cresela say something about us ditching her and I narrowed my eyes in annoyance.

Ditch you? More like you were too slow to react to what was going around you, I thought before finally turning to see what was going on, since I heard a little flutter noise.

I turned around and put a hand over my mouth as my eyes widened. Did she really take Zero's words as an invite to get in the water with him? My face expression returned to normal as my hands found their regular place at my sides under my cloak. I looked at Cresela with a half disgusted look and half clueless look.

Her body is much more curvy than mine, probably what Zero was looking for, rather than a skinny girl who can't be nice and confident with most of her clothes off. What should I care for? It's not like Zero's my soulmate or what not, I thought to myself.

"What the he-ll are you doing? Does it look like he wants you in there?" I hissed, narrowing my eyes at the foul-minded demon who obviously was enjoying herself.

          (What Cresela says)

"Nevermind that. You do not belong here," I growled again, this time placing a hand on roll of thread that was tied onto the side of my belt.

I could feel my body getting hotter, due to the excess amount of vapor that was coming from the water. I answered to natures call and clicked off the cloak, revealing my flare coat underneath. For once, I was glad I'd wore an extra layer, or else it would've just been a black sundress with a belt around my waist.

Evelyn, my cooldown is finished, I may assist you right now, I heard Aurelion say.

Give me a list of Cresela's abilities, My thoughts roared back.

One thing to be aware of. If Cresela kisses a male, he is forever loyal to her, so I highly suggest that you monitor those two carefully if you want a future, Aurelion's voice called again.

I knew that there was something behind that, and yes, I will take precautions immediately. Thank you very much for your assisstance, I thought back, as I started to unravel one strand of thread.

All of my strands were invisible to everyone besides Aurelion and I, so that would be highly beneficial in this situation. I set up approximately five strands out of the many I had. The main string was the strongest, so it crossed directly between Zero and Cresela perfectly. There were two others set up diagonally with the vertex of the "X" intersecting with the main string. The last two threads were reinforcements running horizontally and vertically, to ensure me relief from the unwanted possibilities.

I sat up as Skylar came up to me, my grin fading away.

"What the he-ll do you think you're doing? Does it look like he wants you in there?" she hissed at me.

Because I wanted to be nice, I lowered my voice too. "I think I'm sitting in a hot spring, unlike you. And he didn't SAY he didn't want me in here."

*What Skylar says*

"Still," I replied, a playful look growing on my face. "He didn't say you couldn't come in either!"

I reached out to grab her arm with one hand and gently tug her towards the pool. ((If my hand touches your arm, that is... if not, nvm))

At the same time I moved my wings, sending a small spray of water towards the both of them.

"Well, I didn't intend to ditch you, Cresela it's just that..." Zero immediately paused when he saw her moving her hand behind her back. "Wha-What are you doing?" Zero asked anxiously. "AAAAAAAH!" Zero yelled in shock, His whole body immediately fell into the lake and many bubbles surfaced as Cresela's dress fell off...or more like, she took it off. He resurfaced hoping it wasn't real when he saw her hovering right in front of him, she placed her hand on his nose. For the first time Zero's life he started to blush, she lowered herself twirling into the water. Zero immediately turned his face away from Cresela as it was boiling red, the whole experience was new to Zero it had never happened to him before, he didn't know what to do about it. His body started trembling slightly and caused ripples "C-Cresela, W-What are you doing?..." He asked shyly as he could feel his face grow warmer every second. With his face still turned he heard Skylar shouting at Cresela These two obviously don't like each other He thought to himself

EDIT:

I could feel a spray of water hit my back as Cresela was talking, though I couldn't see what caused it since I turned my face. I heard Cresela mention something, implying for Skylar to hop in to. I turned my head slightly and saw her reaching out for Skylar. Oh no, I can barely manage to cope with one, never mind two Zero thought Trembling more violently at the thought.

I raised an eyebrow as Cresela rose a bit. Her playful expression was gone from her face, but I didn't buy it as any less serious what so ever.

"I said that based on made inferences. For example, he was a bit suprised when even I showed up here, meaning that the experience was intended for him to be alone," I said sternly.

I felt the gentle breeze blow my hood off my head, exposing my pale skin on my small face. I quickly rushed to pull if back on, concealing my eyes, that I could feel would start glowing any second now. I jumped back as Cresela was reaching towards my arm and narrowed my eyes at her.

"No thank you, but I would rather much read and enjoy the breeze, since I brought a book with me right here in my satchel here," I responded, taking a book out of the bag.

I looked at Zero, who obviously wasn't exactly enjoying being in such an awkward situation. There's no need for me to make it even worse for him.

I snapped out of my trance. "Did you just fall from the sky or something?" A voice asked. I looked confused for a moment. The scent was still in the air but the aura retreated. I realized I was on top of the demon. I gasped and quickly got off him. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!"

I helped him up from the ground but the moment my hand touched his, I felt the aura return. I stared at my hand. I wanted to fall into the trance again. I shook my head clear. I can't fall for it again. I felt the urge to sink deep into the aura. My own mind seemed to be working against me. I gritted my teeth as I fought the urge to collapse. I managed to get the demon back onto his feet but another wave of exhaustion hit and my knees buckled and I fell down. My back slammed down onto the ground and darkness enveloped me.

I felt rather disappointed in Skylar. True, I wouldn't mind Zero myself, but her lack of enthusiasm towards spending time with him was rather discouraging. Ignoring what she was saying, I engaged myself in my own thoughts.

But, I told myself, if she didn't want to spend time with him, I would.

Turning around, I rested my back and wings on the smooth stone wall encasing the hot spring. Next to me, Zero was turned away in a pantomine of Skylar's earlier performance. Both of them were suprisingly easy to embarrass; if all it took for them to blush was a single look at a bare piece of midriff, then perhaps I should introduce them to my mother. The thought of them meeting Naerisha made me laugh slightly.

"So then," I said, poking Zero's back with my toe, "We going to make this awkward or are you going to make this a conversation?"

Zero's face heated intensely as Cresela placed her toes on his back. He felt like a volcano about to erupt. "A conversation? S-sure, so...er...what do you wanna talk about?" Zero said nervously. He may be a fierce and tough everywhere else, but when it came to women Zero had no clue on how to handle himself.

Part of me enjoyed seeing Zero acting so awkward. He didn't look anything like the tough guy who had his arms ripped off and beat an insane werewolf to the ground.

"Well... hmmm..." I said, pretending to think over what I was about to say. "How about the reason you're stuttering so much?"

I paused slightly to let it sink in, before laughing. "No, no, I'm just kidding... how about where you went after the battle? I'm sure your parents must of been proud."

One of my thoughts told me that if I turned around and looked at Sky right now, she'd probably be glaring in my direction. I welcomed that thought; maybe watching me would give her a bit of self-confidence. It would be good to have a proper competitor for Zero.

I'm not that cruel, so might as well allow you to talk to him, but one slip and you'll be hanging from the threads once more, I thought viciously in my head before looking up at the tree that stood behind me, examining the height to determine if I was able to jump up or not.

It wasn't that tall, so I aided the jump with a light kick and stood gracefully on the thick branch that would much easily hold my minimum weight. I folded my legs and turned to the page I left off, keeping an eye on the two. I moved the threads each time Cresela changed into a different position in order to accomodate the tension of the threads.

Aurelion, mind talking to me for a bit while I stand by this atrocity? I asked in my head.

Of course, Miss. I would like to warn you again about returning to the Town of Mist, since I've been listening to your thoughts about it for quite a while and thought that it would be useful to remind you now, Aurelion's voice called in my head.

Zero's eyes swung open as Cresela asked him as to why he was stuttering "Well...er...You see, I have never actually had much expire..." Zero immediately stopped figuring it would be better to avoid that question when she revealed it was a joke. "...They, They were happy, well my mother was at least...I never spoke to my farther about the fight after that" Zero said looking down into the water. "So what about you, who exactly are your parents?" Zero asked, trying his best to avoid stuttering to avoid any potential questions. He could tell Cresela enjoyed teasing him, though he wasn't sure if that was normal for a women.

He clearly didn't want to say anything else about his visit home, and I didn't want to pry any further at the moment. I mean heck, I may be a demon, but I didn't want to offend him or anything; not with Skylar ready to rip out my throat at any moment.

"Well," I said, rolling my eyes in response to his newest question. "My father? I have no idea who he is, to be honest. My mother? Judging from the way most people looked at her when we first met our parents, I'm guessing they all know her. She's alright, but she's definitely a lot more serious than me." I narrowed my eyebrows slightly. "That's not to say I can't be serious, though. It's just not as fun as being cheerful." A thought pushed it's way into my head. "What are your parents like? Sorry if this comes out as a bit rude, but Glave sure doesn't look like the type of person who values enjoyment in any way."

Zero listened as she mentioned that she didn't know who her farther was "I can send you back in..." Zero stopped him self from offering Cresela to take her back in time to see who her farther was, though he certainly didn't want to see the past of Succubus that is as well know and hated...by females, as she is. It would appear that it has somewhat passed on to Cresela, As shown through Skylar she already detests Cresela for whatever reason. Zero tensed as she said that she can be serious, he was already struggling to normally to the sweet Cresela, he didn't even want to think about what the forceful mean side of her would have done to him. Zero turned his head a little when she asked him about his parents "Well my mother, she's the most important thing to me..." Zero's eyes widened as Cresela mentioned his farther, all of a sudden time stopped and a voice echoed through Zero's head "She's wrong Zero, why don't you kill her. I enjoy death, Slaughter, massacre...(The list goes on). Go on kill her for that" Glave told him through his mind, Time all suddenly went back to what it should be. "Argh!" Zero moaned, clenching his head, he immediately moved over to Cresela placing his hand over her mouth "Sorry Cresela! Forgive, please. But can we talk about something else" Zero pleaded his hand still over her mouth. He didn't want Cresela to say anything which would further cause sparks which would eventually set Glave's anger a blaze.

Oh dear. Apparently my chosen topic wasn't so good after all. The brief disturbance and Zero's sudden cry seemed to serve as testamant for how strong a reach Glave had even here.

"I'm sorry," I said to him. "It must be hard trying to live up to your father's expectations. He is a very powerful man." I paused for a moment, hoping that would be enough to satiate Glave. "So," I continued, changing the subject as he suggested, "What things do you enjoy?"

"...It's alright I guess" Zero said accepting her apology. He laughed a little "It's not like a demon to ask for forgiveness" Zero joked. "What do I like?...hmm, good question" Zero said thoughtfully raising his head to the sky. His mind suddenly started aching, an after effect from Glave's previous invasion on his mind this allowed him to infiltrate Cresela's mind and Skylar's for that matter. In Skylar's mind I could her some concern, for myself yet she seemed to be relaxed thanks to some precaution. Cresela's mind on the other hand was completely different and he heard and saw thing's he wish he hadn't, though one thing struck him the most. He managed to discover that Cresela to seemed to hold some liking for Zero. Once Zero's migraine was over her looked at Cresela in the eyes "No...Not you to!" Zero said, with a concerned tone.

I looked up from the words to see their conversation continuing normally until significant words were said.

Zero's mother really does mean a lot to him...I really should haven't said what I said earlier. It must've hurt him a lot, and I was stupid enough not to be aware of it, I thought to myself, making a quick risky decision.

I leapt down effortlessly and strided over to Zero. I knelt down behind him and hoped that nothing would backfire, or else I would be in serious danger.

Aurelion, make sure that Cresela's vision is blurred, please, I asked.

I only can blur it so she cannot see what you are currently attemtping, Aurelion replied.

         Good enough, I said.

I saw a clouding sheet appear in front of Cresela and knowing that it wouldn't last for more than a minute, I quickly got to work. I knew based on what Riven taught me, the person I'll be working on will not be aware of what's going on once I've started.

"I'm sorry I hurt you, and I regret what I'd said. Please forgive me for doing this," I whispered, before placing my left hand over Zero's eyes and my other hand on his right temple.

I closed my eyes and concentrated my energy. In training, focusing my energy was one of the things I'd found most difficult, so there was no turning back now. A wave of relief washed over me as I started to see the little lavender colored sphere drift out of his head and into my palm. That was the memory, and it was a small ball. The longer the memory extracted, the larger the sphere. I then quickly jumped away back into the trees and had the sheet removed from Cresela's eyes. Everything was done correctly, and life should go on normally.

"Well," I said, smirkingat Zero, "I wouldn't of wanted you to go home crying tonight!"

This was a rather pleasant experience. Skylar clearly had no intention of joining in, and Zero had calmed down quite a bit. Plus the water was doing a very excellent job at massaging my wings, and I felt like I could fly for a day straight. Zero was also about to list the things he liked, which meant I had finally found a topic that didn't make him feel awkward or scared. Then, he let out a cry of "not you too!"

I blinked slightly at him, before raising a single eyebrow. "That's a rather strange thing to like," I joked.

What does he mean by that? Does he know I like him? Is he fed up of all the girls going after him? To be honest though, the last thought did amuse me quite a bit.

What do I do now, she likes me as well. Argh! Why?! Now...I'm going to end up breaking two girls hearts. Mother even told me back in the Time Chamber that I was becoming like Glave, you know what they say. A mother can see right through her child. If this was true I would only end up using both of them, I don't want, I don't want to use them. Zero had completely missed what Cresela had said before, as he was now worried for the both of them. Zero even felt more inclined towards Skylar now than before, unaware that she had erased his memory of what she told him about his mother. "I-I don't want to use you! NO!" Zero yelled, he lunged forward grabbing Cresela and hugging her tightly. I won't, I can't use them. Either of them. That's why I- I must forget. Forget about them both.

*Randomly makes a post because I feel like it*

As Drake walked about the town looking for his pack, he could sense a strange and unfamilar scent nearby. He took the scent in deeply, then looked around for whoever it was. He spotted nobody, so he continued walking.

Suddenly, somebody, a female, let out a battle cry and pinned him to the ground. She was rather strong. Drake looked up at her with shock, but narrowed his eyes in anger.

" What was that for?" He asked with a raised voice.

The female did not answer, only looked into his eyes. She appeared to be two years younger than him and wielded many knives. She twirled one with one hand while keeping the other on Drake's chest. " I just wanted to see if you could stop me before I pinned you to the ground. But it seems you fail to react quick enough." She finally said. " What's your name?"

Anger flashed in Drake's eyes; he already started to dislike this girl. " The name's Drake Kendrick. Are you going to insult my name as well?"

The female's eyes widened as she slowly removed her hand from his chest and took a few steps back. " I...I....I'm sorry for doing that to y...you. I...I didn't mean t...to insult yo...you. I'm Danielle, Danielle.....Kendrick...." She said hesitantly. She helped him back on his feet.

Drake just stared at her. " Wait, are you my sister? Jack didn't mention anything about you."

Danielle nodded. " Yes, I am. Father never mentions anything about me. He dislikes me greatly for being more like mother, peaceful and kind. But he still accepts to train me in knife wielding and my abbilities. He strives to try and get me to be like him, but that will never happen. I vowed to be like mother and not him. I couldn't imagine myself like him, anyways." She said while looking at her face reflection through the blade of her knife. " So, let me guess, my brother decided to be the opposite of me?"

" I guess you can put it that way, Danielle. How are you still alive? Father could have killed you by now." Drake questioned with his hands in his pockets.

" Because he thinks there is an evil side to me, which he is wrong. He tries to make me use that side of me. And unlike him, I'm actually sane. Insanity is weak in me, but I still possess it." She said. " By the way, call me Dani. No need to call me by my full name."

" It's a pleasure to meet you, Dani." Drake said while giving his sister a tight hug.

Skylar Krymark - Pureblood Vampire

I looked up only to see Zero hugging Cresela. My eyes widened, but quickly turned into anger instead. I quickly closed my fist and watched the threads catch Cresela by all four limbs and the main one reserved for her neck. The girl was quickly pulled away from Zero, as my hand was behind me. I leapt down, my eyes fully blazing and approached Zero.

"I'm sure that you have an explanation for what you just did, Zero. I'm very tired of running from it at this point. Tell me you don't like me, and I'll never bother you and Cresela ever again! I'm aware that I'm probably not the person you are looking for as a partner, but that's alright. All you had to do is tell me that you would rather prefer other girls over me, it's that simple!" I growled at him, baring my fangs.

Then I started to turn away, preparing to leave for the Great Cliffs.

Luchter Siegcador - Demon

Reflexively, Luchter swoop down and encircled his hand around the girl's shoulder, preventing her from crashing into the ground. His hand traveled down to encircle her waist and his free hand rested on the back of her head. Gently, Luchter pulled her closely to him.

"Luchter! Oh, for Satan's sake do not tell me you went home all by yourself," a familiar voice shouted, followed by a mumble.

"I'm down here, Jakob. Outside the arena!" As soon as Luchter shouted back, Jakob suddenly came into view. He was looking down at Luchter from the top floor of the arena. If he were any surprised seeing Luchter with a stranger girl, he neither said anything nor express any emotions. Jakob vaulted over the railings, slid down the building and before Luchter knew it, he was within arm reach.

"A werewolf." Jakob stated flatly.

"Apparently, she fell from the sky and blacked out. Do you know her?"

"She might be a Yonaka, but I am not certain." Jakob sighed and gestured Luchter to follow him. "Let's go home."

-------

Luchter snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the door creaked open. Jakob emerged to view with the lance in hand. He shifted his gaze to the werewolf lying unconsciously on Luchter's bed before looking at Luchter.

"How is she?" he asked.

"Fine, I guess. She will wake up sooner or later," Luchter replied, leaning his back against the chair he was sitting on. "Where's Elise anyway?"

"Training at the cliff. I told her we would meet her up there when you are ready for your training."

"Later," Luchter immediately responded, "Once she wakes up, I'll be there." Jakob simply nodded and left, leaving Luchter alone with the werewolf.

Cresela Aneiros - Demon

"No! I don't want to use you!" Zero cried.

I managed to manage "Uh-" before he leapt at me and hugged me. It was quite nice, though he was squeezing a bit too hard. I raised an arm and patted him slightly on the back, before a force constricted around me and pulled me up out of the pool and away from the vampire.

Great, I thought to myself as Skylar walked up. She didn't look like she was in a very friendly mood at the moment, but at least she wasn't hurting me too much, though one of the threads was slightly pressed against a sore spot on my arm from where Zero had been hugging me too tightly. Skylar didn't even glance in my direction as she berated Zero, asking him about which girl he liked; at least she didn't think I was using my aura, which I hadn't actually been so far... at least, not from what I was aware of.

((Were you constricting my neck too, and have you released me yet/was I forced to follow after you?))
