Hopefully nobody's thinking any furies will grow horns and spines all over their bodies, can you even imagine...??? Yeah no. And consider the Night Lights are babies, double no. BUT. Since the Night Lights are "adult" baby furies, what if a Titan Wing stage could be created to age them into proper adult furies like Toothless and the Light Fury? Now I am fully aware that this idea is a stretch, but since the babies are "adults" the Titan Wing method would give players a way to ACTUALLY age up the Night Lights. All you have to do is take Toothless/Light Fury models and change up the colors. Again it's a stretch and Dreamworks would have to grant permission for this to happen but if it did I'd lose my mind. And since stats don't change with Titan Wings the membership dragons would still have the best stats. So players still have incentive to purchase memberships.

A wild outcast has appeared!

While the Night Lights are considered as "Adults" just so players are able to ride them (and DreamWorks potentially hasn't developed or released an official design of the adult Night Lights for School of Dragons to use aka we will never have adult Night Lights or only in god-knows-how-many-years), I think they would have more Nubs like how Toothless gets as he grows older, more back fins like how Titan!Light Fury has in Titan Uprising which could extend to the arm fins and I guess that's really it.

I can't see any Fury having the extravagant features like most Titans have.

More nubs. XD But yeah I see what you're saying. I don't think she's a Titan Wing in Uprising though. I have her at that stage and her only real difference is the glowing, which throws the shading off and casts shadows which the eye perceives as a difference in design.

Also, why does she glow...? Never saw that in any movies. Never saw Toothless glow either (except in alpha form, mode, whatever).

It's an interesting idea but like you said, Dreamworks would have to approve it, and I just really don't see that happening. With Homecoming being the last canon thing we're going to get, I highly doubt Dreamworks will ever approve adult versions of the Nightlights being made.

It's a stretch. However if Dreamworks is done with the dragons, what's the harm in allowing one little game to literally recolor a preexisting version of a Night/Light Fury which everyone already knows is theirs? One game. It would be the coolest thing this game could ever release. I hope Dreamworks won't shoot down the idea before it's even tabled...

Well

For one thing, Toothless is basically HTTYD's Mickey mouse. Toothless is known to be this black dragon with green eyes, much like we know mickey mouse with 2 ears that is never seen flat, or without his white gloves (Not counting his appearances in kingdom hearts).

I mean, we got dragons that are like, the "recolor" and a bit of remodeling of toothless (sandwraith and woolyhowl) and they basically called it as a separate species, not a nightfury or a nightfury variant.

So to change toothless' lineage colors to anything other than black and white, might not happen o3o

I highly doubt that it would end with just this game. If Dreamworks would approve SoD releasing adult versions of the Nightlights then Rise of Berk, Titans Uprising(if they're even available in that game, I don't have any idea), and companies that have sold HTTYD merchandise(Funko, Spinmaster, Build a Bear, ect) would likely want to follow suit and release adult Nightlights. Dreamworks couldn't tell those other games and companies that they weren't allowed because they would've already allowed SoD to release adult versions. It would be cool to see what they would look like as adults but I really think that Dreamworks doesn't want adult versions made, they want them to just stay babies. I don't have a problem with that though. They're so adorable as babies. XD

Uprising doesn't even have the Night Lights, so that should be excluded from the list, and I doubt they could put them into their game because of the setup. It's a battle game, babies can't battle. Adult versions would give the Night Lights an opportunity into the game, but right now the only way to get them in there is to make baby dragons battle 5* adult Skrills. That's just taboo.

Rise of Berk has them on a permanent baby phase and there's no way to age them out like the rest of the dragons. (I have all three and two of them are 75.) so RoB should also be excluded since they sort of screwed themselves by releasing the babies too early (if by a slim chance Dreamworks says yes). They wouldn't be able to change anything and since the Night Lights are unique dragons you can't throw in another event claiming that now you can get a grown version, you can't own a unique dragon twice.

So Uprising and RoB can't be included despite one of them already having the Night Lights. Build-A-Bear would definitely try for an adult Night Light stuffed toy and both Dreamworks and BAB would make a killing. So I definitely don't see a downside when it comes to an approval for BAB, and same goes for other toy companies. Adult Night Lights would bring closure to everything and take in mountains of green stuff for Dreamworks. All they'd have to do is take the same Fury models and recolor (not remodel) them. I play around with videos and programs for fun and trust me it isn't hard at all, especially since the model is pre-made for both Fury genders.

Plus the Titan Wing stage is a choice for players so you could choose to either age them or keep them as they are. All in all I'm just saying Dreamworks isn't losing anything by green lighting adult Night Lights.

I totally get what you're saying. Dreamworks would definitely make a lot of money by approving adult Nightlights being made. Maybe there's a reason they don't want adult versions right now? While it has been stated that the franchise is over, reboots are really popular right now so maybe they're holding off in case they ever decide to bring the franchise back. Idk. Just a guess.

I hope it's not like the Incredibles sequel. That was waayyy too long a wait! And I didn't appreciate Jack-Jack being so OP and Violet suddenly knowing how to use advanced powers when she was previously forbidden to use them at all. Dash is like...he runs fast, that's all there is to his powers. But now suddenly Violet's throwing her shields at villains? And they aren't any older so HOW DID SHE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT?

*deep breath* Excuse my rambling. I'm a big Incredibles fan and that was such a letdown... Dreamworks has such a hit with HTTYD that they could probably succeed where Ice Age failed (too many sequels) because people love Toothless and they love the babies and honestly it would be an interesting "what if" field to wiggle around in with the Night Fury lineage being thinned as the babies find other Furies to mate with. Grimmel said, "Furies mate for life." So clearly there are other Furies (unless he was only talking about Light Furies but it didn't sound that way) for the babies to mate with and create new hybrids. And it doesn't take away from the cuteness at all. Lol

I actually really liked Incredibles 2 but I do agree that we had to wait way too long for a sequel. I wish they'd make an Incredibles tv series. That'd be awesome.

In the first movie, it says "3 months later" when it cuts to the track and field scene after Syndrome's defeat. 3 months were supposed to have passed since they defeated Syndrome so I assumed that either Violet had been practicing with her powers and she learned more about them or it was like what Elastigirl had told her on that island, that she would know what to do when the time was right, so when she throws her shields she was doing it on instinct.

Jack-Jack did have a lot of powers but I don't think he would have all those powers when he got older. Edna said that it's not unusal for supers to be born with more than 1 power(although, admittedly, she was impressed at how many Jack-Jack had). Other supers we've seen don't have that many powers, so given the fact that she said it was't unusual for supers to be born with more than 1 power, I figure that those who are born with multiple powers lose most of their powers as they get older and end up with just 1 or 2 and I think this would most likely be the case with Jack-Jack.

Other types of Furies is an interesting concept. I'd love to see other types of Furies.

Edna also called Jack-Jack unique. "Your child is a polymorph. It is not unusual for supers to have more than one power when they're born but this little one has many." Notice the "but." Why would she have said that if she eas simply reassuring Bob that Jack-Jack was totally normal? I dunno...I just find him way too OP, baby or not. And three months still seems too soon for tricks that advanced. Violet is only like 13, to boot. I liked the movie overall, just I was expecting it to live up to the original and it really didn't come as close as it could've.

I'm not saying there ARE other types of Furies, but based on Grimmel's comment towards two clearly different Furies I would assume that there are others beyond what we've seen thus far. Come on Dreamworks...don't hold back.

You said Homecoming is the last canon thing but originally Homecoming wasn't supposed to exist. HTTYD 3 was even said in the trailers that it was the conclusion. Homecoming wasn't an intention until people were raving over the babies and wanting more than two minutes of air time for them.
