Thawfest Drawing Challenge 2022!

This drawing challenge will have 7 categories spread over 42 days. Fair Warning: some of these prompts may re-appear next year.

Here's the idea for each category:

1. Flowers- Design an origional Skin, Saddle, or other accessory for a Dragon of your choice using the prompt Flower as Inspiration

2. Gems- Design an origional Skin for a Dragon using the color pallet of the prompt Gemstone (you don't have to use the full color pallet of the gemstone- some of them do come in a wide range of colors)

3. Hybrid Design- Design a hybrid dragon based off the prompt parents (one parent will fit the theme of having at least 2 heads as is the rule for cannon Thawfest Dragons)

4. Thawfest Objects- Design an origional thawfest object based on the prompt or redesign an existing thawfest object within that category

5. Extinct Animals- design an origional dragon that is at least partially based on the prompt animal (I chose extinct animals to allow for more creativity)

6. Dragons- redesign the prompt dragon or design your own individual dragon based on them (These will be individual dragons unless noted otherwise)

Edit: Categories will not be marked, and prompts will be chosen randomly. A new prompt will be posted each day, and no prompt will be posted twice.

We seem to have thought along similar lines for this hybrid. I think I game mine more Snifflehunch colors and made it bipedal, though. I also have a Deathsong-Snaptrapper Hybrid prompt up if you're interested.

The Thawfest Drawing Challenge is officially over... and has been a major learning experience. Seeing as you've responded to the Dragon Design prompts the most, Summarhildrs challenge (and onwards) will focus entirely on Dragon design! There won't be any categories- instead, the dragons will broadly fit the theme of the event, and/or be hybrids betwen that events themed dragons and dragons picked by a random generator!
