Without much context to go with, all I can say is that practice makes perfect. Learn the basic rules of art, and you will get better. Form, line, space, shape, value, colour and texture. There's a bunch of good online resources to help you with these, if you take some time to search around. Line of Action is pretty useful!

If you're having trouble getting something to look right, using reference material may help, too.

It depends on what you're having trouble with, I can give some input but I need more details in what you want to achieve

Art Tips

The biggest tip I have, which you'll hear over and over until you die, is to break everything down into simple shapes when you start out. Since your main dragon is a Light Fury you'll be using a ton of circles and rounded shapes.

Maybe use screenshots from the movie to learn the basic shapes of the dragons and how they connect. From there you can draw and design your own dragons!

Me Be the Slave of Chakoel
Hi!! I'm not the best person to get art advice from, so take this with a grain of salt, but someone once gave me a tip that I thought was really interesting: trace something before you officially draw it.

Maybe you could try looking online for a picture of a dragon that is the same species as your main dragon; you could download that picture and then import it into an art app or print it out irl... then, trace over the picture to "get a feel" of that dragon's anatomy. You could do this over and over, with different pictures of the same species of dragon, all in different poses. Eventually, you'll get so used to tracing the dragon
that drawing it by yourself will feel more natural to you.

You probably shouldn't publish any of the tracings, since they wouldn't be your own, original works... but they might be very useful for practice. I tried doing this once with Furies... and it didn't cure my talentlessness but it certainly improved it a bit!! I'm not sure if it would work for you or not... but it worked for me, so I thought I'd share it! :)

Good luck drawing your dragon!!! And I hope you have a good day, too! ;D

My suggestion for traced/eyeballed works is to only use them for practice, but never publish them unless you have permission to do so or can clarify where you took the material from.

Traced/copied works are fine to make- but they should be for practice purposes only. Once you got the motor memory down from using the references, you can apply the knowledge for your own original drawings.

eta: sorry, wasn't aware there was supposed to be an image- did you try to insert it using the direct url?
