Twilight and Jason

A moment after Jason sticks the dart into Argos, the latter whirls around to attack. Jason staggers back, caught off guard. Flitt jumps between him and Argos and faces the furious deathgripper. With his heart racing, Jason shifts to dragon form, ready to help Flitt. Argos stops and glares at the flightmare. "Flitt" he hisses, staying motionless despite having the chance to attack her, then the poison takes hold and he retreats, limp and panting. Jason sighs in relief and sits down. "Th-thank you. Thank you, Flitt" he says, a bit shaken. He bows his head to her gratefully.

Twilight watches in horror as Argos turns to attack Jason. Before the nightlight can act though, Flitt jumps in between, destracting Argos long enough for the poison to kick in. Twilight watches Argos retreat into a corner, then she shifts to hybrid and rushes over. "Are you all ok?" she asks, worried and feeling a bit guilty she hadn't done more to help.

She's speaking in dragontongue. Can't do italics

Tense seconds ticked by, the Deathgripper right there, stating into her eyes with such hatred it was almost visible in the air. Yet he didn't attack. He had the chance, but he did nothing.

Argos's pupils turned to slits and he sat back, a docile dog waiting for commands. Flitt hadn't thought she'd see the time when a villain was almost like a puppy.

She nodded to Jason. ‘You ok?’

Zima and Bullseye

Bullseye wasn't sure he believed Ebony about the humans, but he believed that she thought that was true. He would never trust a human, not after all they had done to his pack. I hope I find a home soon, too. He thought.

"Me too." He replied as she walked away. "And... Your welcome for saving you, or trying to anyway."

As much as he hated to admit it, he would do it again, even though he had told her he wouldn't.

Zima's heart skipped a beat as the Deathsong turned to face her. She relaxed as Nora didn't seem angry. So, she didn't mean to start singing and attracting all the dragons to her? She thought in response to Nora. I knew there must be something else going on. Zima took a step back, thinking about whether she should leave or stay.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure you were okay..." She said. "Everyone makes mistakes, some of them are worse than others, but they are still mistakes, and it's not your fault."

Twilight, Nora and Jason

Nora nods slowly and relaxes a little bit. "Does.. does this always happen to Dragonbloods? Losing control of their dragon side at random times?" she asks.

Jason nods and smiles. "Yeah, I'm ok. Thank you." He looks over at Argos, frowning slightly. 'What was that about? Why didn't he attack Flitt? Does he know her from somewhere? Does it have anything to do with why Flitt doesn't trust me?' he wonders, but he doesn't voice any of these questions. He gets up slowly and stalks a few paces closer to Argos, watching the poisoned deathgripper closely. After a few moments of thought, he clears his throat, staring straight into Argos's eyes. "Time for questions, and your order is to answer them truthfully and completely. Don't leave anything out." He pauses for a moment, letting the words get through to Argos, then he starts with the first question. "Why and how are you collecting information about everyone from Dragonblood Island? Who was the grapple grounder that we smelled in the cage, and what happend to her? Why did you kill the gronckles? What other things have you been doing here that we don't know about? What's your big plan?" He hesitates before continueing with a few more slightly personal questions. "Why was Julius here, and why did you kill him? Why did you tell Nora and I to leave Dragonblood Island when you met us there? Why is Nora a target?"

Twilight watches and listens as Jason starts asking Argos questions. 'This could get really nasty if Argos returns to normal faster than expected.. I'm sure he had more purple darts, where did they go?' She slowly walks around the cave, glancing at Argos every so often. She soon finds the darts, luckily undamaged, and picks them up carefully. 'Should we really waste time asking questions when we have him completely helpless? Shouldn't we just kill him?' she wonders.

Zima

Zima had not experienced losing control of her dragon side, really, so she didn't think so.

"Well... I mean... I don't know." She replied unsurely. "I don't think it has ever happened to me before."

She hadn't had a lot of contact with other dragonbloods until recently, she didn't really know that much about them even though she was one herself.

"I guess maybe it has something to do with what dragon you are." Zima guessed.

She felt a stab of pity for Nora, she imagined, not being able to shift without the fear of losing control and hurting her friends, she suddenly felt lucky that she was a Light Fury. I'm so sorry, Nora... But she couldn't do anything about it, which made it all the more despairing.

"I'm okay too thanks" Teri

"I'm okay too thanks" Teri joked with a wince as he removed himself from between the tusk. He gingerly holding onto his middle. It's probably bruising. He watched Flitts and Argos carefully, probably because he did notice Argos' reaction too but then he decided to drop it and act nonechelant. "That could have gone a lot better"

It was rather tense moment filled with heavy breathing from both Argos and the worked up dragonbloods. Jason got his baring first and began his barage of questions. Teri watched Argos carefully

"Maybe we should tie him up first or something" He muttered, tails waving closely to Argos face "If that poison of his doesn't get him to cooperrate enough or if it wear off quick then my stings are good with torturing" He grinned darkly

----------------------------------------------------------------

"Rats!" Gusto dropped Skid unceremoniously like he's boiling hot "We miss again!" No longer paid the speed stingers any mind. He turned toward Ogma and say "Let's go we might still be able to caught up to him"

Teri's tails wave dangerously before his eyes as the triple stryke dragonblood made no secret of his thoughts.

Argos gazed straight through them and through Jason, tone monotonous and untouched by guilt perhaps thanks to the poison, but a soft growl accompanied every forced word. "I hunt dragonbloods by trade and after confrontation on the island prepared for battle," he tapped the gronckle iron armor over his head. "By scraping together what I knew of you and enlisting Gronckles to build a protective countermeasure against plasmid and electrical blasts. Their knowledge of my work and where it was done could not be shared. How; I've been collecting data over thirty years across the archipelago and beyond of Dragonbloods or were-dragons. That with my ability to memorize what I see, and tell a dragonblood from a dragon or human, and Flame's conformation is how."

"What's your big plan?"

Jason's last question fit well into the following barrage. Helpless to stop himself Argos listened to his own condemnation as if the words were coming from another.

"Deathgripper law." His first response sounded a bit perplexed, as if the reason should be obvious. "Any pack member who disregards a direct order must be destroyed, for any pack memeber that disregards a direct order and gets away with it has not only the right but responsibility to challange and k.ill the one who gave it, to the benefit of the all the pack."

Finally he looked up into Jason's eyes, some hint of his own thoughts glinting through. "You should know that. And I never told Nora to leave the island. I told you to cut your ties as fair warning from one deathgripper to another. Nora is the key to my success..."

No, no no no no NO!

The growl heightened and his lips curled up in a hideous snarl but he continued nonetheless.

"Her, and Gusto or Ogma whichever one I don't end up k.illing. They have the location and she's got the song. Dragon's Down has been a refuge for too many of my targets for two decades too long. Berk too... but I have no intention of roiling the fury of thousands of dragons for mere dozens of Dragonbloods."

Nora nods slowly, then drops her gaze. "O-ok.. thanks for telling me." She tries and fails to shift to hybrid, then shakes her head. "I- I guess I'd better go then.. seems deathsongs aren't ment to be around other dragons.. thanks for being so nice to me" she says quietly with a weak half-smile. She then turns and wonders off.

Jason is about to answer Teri when Argos starts answering. Jason listens carefully, his face twisting into a silent snarl as his anger builds. Once Argo finishes, he sheaths and unsheaths his tail sickle, fighting the urge to strike at Argos. Feeling everyone's eyes on him as he silently fights his much nastier dragon instincts, he finally manages, with obvious dificulty, to shift to hybrid form and keep his temper in check. After taking a few moments to sort his thoughts, he turns back to face Argos, his eyes narrowed as he glares at the poisoned deathgripper. "Your quote from deathgripper law is true for packs. Julius was in my pack, not yours. You're packless. Packmembers can choose to listen to packless, but they don't have to obey orders from packless. Packless on the other hand have to obey those in packs. Now, since you quoted deathgripper law to me, I'll return the favor. If any creature threatens a pack or its allies, the threat is to be killed, torn apart, poisoned and left to rot. You should know that" he growls. He closes his eyes for a moment to calm himself, then continues. "If you didn't have useful information, I would obey that law this instant" he hisses. "We found the scent of a grapple grounder in here, but no body. What happend to her? And what's this about Flame confirming information? Last time I saw you near her, she attacked you."

He then takes his eyes off Argos for a moment and beckons to Twilight. "Give him another dose of that stuff. I don't like the way he was growling." Twilight nods and comes over, watching Argos warily as she moves the needle close to give him another dose of poison.

"Unless of course said packmemeber is bested by the packless. I fought and defeated Julius fairly, without you to challange that I became his alpha and he an omega. And yes, I am aware. Another reason I warned you to leave." Once again some of his own spirit fell behind his words. Jason after expressing the only reason Argos was still sucking air was because he had valuable information, orded another dose. How much valuable information? Argos wondered. And just how badly was this going to end for him? He was at their complete mercy which with every word leaving his lips grew thinner and thinner, and by no means did he LIKE it... but... it was different, he had to admit. And interesting. It gave him some vague idea what it must be like to be a dragonblood in his own grip which brought forth some sensation... perhaps pity? No, gratification.

Twilight administered the dose and a few seconds later he went from quietly sitting to slumping low in a heap.

"The... grapplegrounder... got... away." His articulate words slurred and his thoughts became fuzzy. "Dragonblood Island. Dragonblood... ...she needed my help to break a dragon... supposed to return in a week, didn't follow through."

"Still alive! Whoo! Take that ya overgrown toaster!" Skid spat empty threats into an empty sky. He waited until both the thunderdrum and Skrill were well out of range before mouthing off. Stiffly he got his feet under him but wasn't yet able to stand.

"Hope they catch up to Argos," Pumperneckel snorted. "That ought to be a fight to leave him hurting."

Ebony pondered as she wandered, feeling a bit sulky. He had softened a little in the last part of their conversation and seemed surprised that she was sad. Should she believe there was something kind in there after all? The thought made her tired. It was hard to believe such things. She'd been proven wrong again and again when once she did.

*Ebony's just going to be wandering around doing her own nightfury things for now*

Jason nods slowly as Argos explains that he'd defeated and won over Julius. He looks surprised as Agros flops, his words becoming slurred and a bit muddled. "Didn't think he'd react like that.. looks like we've overdone it." Jason mutters. Twilight winces a little as she watches Argos. 'That's horribly familiar.. I don't remember collapsing as quickly as that though, maybe they only gave me small doses.. or the stuff they gave me was modified' she thinks. "Any idea how long it'll take for him to recover?" Jason asks. Twilight shakes her head. "Could take up to an hour, but half an hour's more likely" she answers. Jason sighs. "Great. We should probably come up with a plan, or at least part of one, untill he can talk more clearly."

While Jason and Twilight were speaking, Flitt approached the collapsed Deathgripper and crouched by his head. 'I don't trust you, and you know that,' she said quietly so that the othres wouldn't be disturbed from their planning. 'I know you could be pretending to be affected by the poison more than other dragons. I know you could attack me right now...' She peered at his eyes. The pupils were so small, so paper thin that there was barely a chance he could see. '...But you won't, will you. Why won't you attack me? Even when you had the chance, you refrained from it. I want to know why.'

"I would be more comfortable

"I would be more comfortable for sure if he's not only been restained but also secured in a proper cage at berk instead of out in the open like this" Teri said. Knowing Jason, the boy quickly add "Just until we know he couldn't give us anymore valuable information. I'm sure we can......bring justice to any live he took after that

"So I think after we tied him up we should relocate him back to berk and see if Hiccup has anything in mind and continue the interigation. It is not ideal and definitely dangerous.I can extend the time to keep him down with more of my own dose but I don't want to overdo it right now"

Teri nodded ang began to restain Argos.

He secured his mouth tight. As do his piencers and legs and wings, tightly to his chest. for his tail, he tied it up to the chain where they'd hang him upside down from there.

"Flitt? Flitt! You and me are going to fly next to him to make sure he won't try anything funny. W can shoot and sting him the second he act up.  Jason, you carry him. Twilight, you're fast so you're going to be our look out. Fly above and at the front. The others will be around. Let's hope nothing will happen. Alright, let's go"

Flitt was right he couldn't see her. He couldn't see anything except a piercing ray of light similar to a door leading outside that's not fully shut. But he could still hear and his sense of smell was by no means impeeded.

The Flightmare dragonblood crouched close to him, practically whispering.

"You... ...are... forbidden. You, Arianwen, and Myth."

Memories blurred and distorted flickered through his mind. It was fall and a town in Alba had lost a few sheep to a wandering dragon. Poor boy, so lost. Had him lined up in his sights when he came out of nowhere and shot Argos through the chest with an arrow. Argos bow went off, missed, and the boy ran, thinking one of the townspeople was after him, but he remained. They fought, he bested Argos, and at the tip of his knife they came to an "understanding", as all who dared to seek Myth, Arianwen, and Flitt must. The deal was simple yet double edged; leave said three alone and Grimborn's ports would remain intact. The threat was not lost on Argos; Grimborn had an army at his disposal, and Grimmel was Grimmel, hate it as he did the dragonblood had bested him fairly according to deathgripper law, and was therefore... his alpha.

Rope was spun around his mouth, a knee pressed heavily against his snout as it was pulled taught. He growled his objection but could do nothing more. Next he felt them tie his pincers, legs and wings in so that even if he wasn't paralized he couldn't move them. The rope cut deep in the raw places on his pincers, still healing from his fights with Mabin and Twilight..

Last they tied a chain to his tail.

Great, he thought, upside down. This wasn't going to be a fun trip. ...points for thoroughness, though. If he had to strap down a deathgripper and didn't know the potency of his vials, this was exactly how he'd do it.

(Btw- each dart contains enough venom to control dragons as big as a nadder for up to an hour, but will not knock out a dragon as small as a night terror- he was trying to generalize the size of dragons. Two darts are enough to control a monstrous nightmare, and three a Goregutter. Also you guys have complete control of him rn... if you want to end him you can o.O)

'Forbidden...? Forbidden how? And how do you know my siblings?'

He didn't get a chance to answer; his mouth was tied shut and and Teri was calling to her. Apparently she was to fly beside Argos to make sure he didn't try to escape. 'Back to Berk? Is that wise?' Flitt said. She Shifted to dragon form, ready anyway.

Yeah aside from dying this day couldn't have gone any worse... after starting so well, too.

Jason took the chain and swooped upwards, dragging Argos a short ways before lifting his deadweight off the ground. The latter's head conked against a few large rocks and whether that was purposeful on Jason's part or not wasn't clear, but it certainly had a dizzying affect as he sort of spun one direction and then the other from the chain, blindfolded.

Berk, he was coming. In humiliation and quite possibly to his own demise, but he was coming. Through the mists of the poison a part of him looked grimely forward to finally meeting the young dragonblood Chieftain.

Twilight slows down as she comes closer to the storm clouds. 'Go around the storm, which would meen easy flying but take longer and risk Argos waking up and attacking the others.. or fly through the storm straight to Berk' she thinks through her options. She looks back towards the others, wondering if she should fly back and ask what they think.

Jason grits his teeth in effort as he lifts the chained deathgripper into the air. When Argos spins from hitting his head on a rock, Jason's flight path wavers a bit, but he soon steadies and manages to settle into a reletively strong rhythm. His eyes narrow a little as he sees the storm up ahead, as well as the small figure of Twilight, who seems to be debating what to do. "What's our plan?" he asks Teri, nodding towards the storm.

Argos... just hangin out xD

What were they doing flying into the storm? He worried, feeling Jason jerk the chain taught. The captive deathgripper growled; at least for him navigating a storm was hard enough without hauling a dragon his same weight, what if Jason lost control and dropped him? Death in battle, sure. Death at the hands of Berkians, not great but ok. Death by being dumped uncerimoniously into the sea by accident chained and blindfolded? Lame. For once he hoped they knew what they were doing.

Just hold on for another half hour, he willed up to Jason. By then he might be able to do something about the situation himself

Teri himself doesn't seemed to struggle much with the storm but as he ride the wind he watched Argos swaying dangerously by the wind and momentum worryingly. Sometime Argos even swung too close to hit Teri or Flitts. After recheck that it is the wind and not Argos struggling, he flew upward close to Jason

Twilight, struggling to fly in the storm due to lack of experiance, finds herself drifting back to the rest of the group. "Hey, um, I know we've come this far, but.. maybe we should turn back and try going the other way, around the storm?" she calls out to them. She flinches as lightning flashes not too far away.

Teri looked frusterated(and almost act his age), not at his teammate but at the situation they found themselves in. It was scary for him to admit to himself that he might have messed up and made a wrong judgement with how he is. But they made it this far anyway right?

"It's going to be worse if we get back, there're only  a bit more to go now we can made it!" He stubbornly stood his ground. Somewhere close there's a flashlight. Twilight flinted and at first Teri didn't think much of it other than, great they have to worry about not getting electricued holding a chained up Deathgripper. That is until he narrowed his eyes and inspected what came after the lightning better---

"Look out!" Teri cried and tackled Twilight away as a large skrill flew through the group. Teri double check if it was Gusto but it wasn't, however since he just came into the dragonbloo.d island brieftly he wouldn't have known the skrill but for those who do, they might have recognized that Skrill that terrorized them briefly when Skulker called out for war. He's circling back to the group, obviously targetting them

This has not been the smartest move, flying into the storm. And now look! A skrill! Flitt flew up to the same level as it and fired a shot, aiming to freeze the stormy dragon just enough to slow it down but not to paralyse it completely.

Once more the chain jerked as the dragonbloods became aware of a new threat.

Under the blindfold Argos knew it was a skrill, but which one? He came to the grateful conclusion not Gusto for no greeting or repremand came. That left it an unknown though.

He swung, out of control and flinched as the motion pressed the ropes deep enough into his pincers to draw blood.

Flinched!

The dragon closed his eyes tightly in concentration, feeling every rope that bound him so carefully.

Twilight gasps out in fright as Teri tackles her, but she quickly recovers as she sees the reason: a skrill. "Thanks!" she says to Teri. Her eyes widen as she recognises the skrill as the one who attacked her and the group on Dragonblood Island, not long after she had attacked Jason. If it weren't for the storm, she would have attacked the skrill herself, but luckily Flitt fires at it.

Jason ducks out the way of the skrill, but that sets Argos swinging again. He growls in frustration and struggles to stay air-borne. "Is it bad that I want to chuck our prisoner at that skrill to keep him busy while we get out of here? It's not like Argos could fight back anyways, so it would solve our problem of dealing with him ourselves" he calls to the rest of the group.

The wind and the rain made the paralyze spray wider but also less accurate. Skulltrill was likely got a few small droplet on him but most of the potion still miss. It get him to stop his charge and flew away back into the stom though.

He heard the conversation, he felt the chain swing. He stretched the fingers of his wings to prepare them for flight, breathing in and then out deeply.

Jason chucked him at the attacking Skrill with all his strength! Teri cried out an alarm as apparently that was not his intention and Argos could only imagine how ridiculous it all looked.

That was about to change.

The deathgripper's bounds were tight with no way for the dragon to wriggle out of them... but the human could and he did, quite easily. Sailing toward Skulltrill Argos shifted. The ropes fell slack and useless behind him as momentum kept him hurtling forward, and once clear, he shifted back, wings and deadly tail free.

Blindfold fluttering away in the wind he sized up the opposing dragon. Another fight was the last thing on his roster for the day but it might be unavoidable. Folding the flower-like end of his tail into a club he swung it at the skrill full force, hoping to knock the sense out of him as he continued to fly past.

Twilight and Jason

Jason blinks in surprise at Teri's reaction. "But I thought you said -" he starts, but the rest of his sentence dies as Argos, who had apparantly recovered without anyone realising, shifts to human form, escaping his bonds, then back to dragon form and using his tail as a club against the skrill. Jason stares, the shock making him unable to act.

Twilight stares in dismay as the scene unfolds, but she recovers her senses quickly. She quickly flies after Argos, charging a plasma blast.

Flitt groaned when she saw what was happening. She'd known it! He hadn't been under their control.

She flew at Argos and the skrill, hoping to distract them both but not actually get near them.

can't write now, but so y'all know:

Argos was under the affects of the venom and he didn't fake the whole sinking to the ground thing. He's managing to stay airborn as it's wearing off, and if someone can get close enough they can still command him to stop

Zima and Bullseye

Zima sat down, her ears flat against her head as Nora disapeared into the trees. She sighed, then her mind began to wander, she wondered what Ebony was doing... Wait, Ebony! Her ears shot back up, was she still with the red-eyed Fury? Was she okay? Last Zima saw, things didn't seem to be going too badly, but from what she'd heard, that dragon was unprodictable. I better find her. She turned around, walked back to the place she had seen Ebony last, she was gone, he red-eyed Night Fury was still there, a thoughtfuly look on his face. Zima crouched down, hoping not to be spotted.

Bullseye figured he should go see if he could find a place to stay. I won't survive out here if I don't have anywhere to go. He told himself. But then a scent wafted towards him, another Fury, it wasn't the female he had previously been talking to, it was a Light Fury. He lifted his head to look around and heard a rustle in front of him.

"What do you want?" He called.

A white Light Fury rose from the bushes.

"I'm sorry, I... I just was wondering if..." She paused, stepping back. "If you knew where my friend was, the other Night Fury, she...."

"She went that way." Bullseye gestured to the direction the female Fury had walked off in.

"Oh... Thank you." The Light Fury's purple eyes darted around anxiously before she walked off.

She's afraid of me... He realized.

"Well, you should feel right at home then." He muttered to himself.

He seemed incapable of making friends, only enemies. He sighed, shaking his head to clear it. He walked off into the trees.

(Just trying to find some things for Zima to do, I don't mind if she finds Ebony or not)

Argos

Those black and red wings were heavy but he kept beating them. From the corner of one slitted pupil Argos caught sight of Twilight honing in a plasmid blast charging in her mouth, and from the other Flitt ready to battle either him or the skrill.

The dragon folded said wings in for a clumsy dive, putting cloud and fog between him and his persuers.

(@all: will check back in in another day or so, as it's my internet fast tomorrow @Zima, alright, whatever you'd like to do! Ebony's done moping and back to her usual dorky self ^^)

Skulltrill was slapped out of

Skulltrill was slapped out of the sky and out of sight with a shrill cry, at the same time Teri sped up in attempt to catch up to Argos but only got to the tail end of the chain that Argos just freed himself from. Teri snarled and swung the chain with all his might to caught and pull Argos back

Twilight, Nora and Jason

Twilight fires, just missing Argos as he dives. She dives after him and catches up quite quickly. 'Hang on, his pupils are still slits.. so there's a chance we can still control him' she thinks as she looks at him. "Argos! Stop and turn back, now! That's an order!" she roars over the storm. She opens her wings a little, slowing her dive and readying herself for the worst.

Jason recovers his senses as the skrill falls with a shriek. He shakes his head and dives after the falling dragon. "I'm sorry, I thought he was under control, I didn't know he could attack you!" he calls, reaching out to grab the skrill before they land in the ocean.

Nora stands on a cliff, looking out to sea. "It- it's for the best" she whispers, trying to push away her sadness at the thought of leaving. She spreads her wings and flies off.

Not too long later though, she finds it harder and harder to continue as the wind picks up and her wings get tired. She her eyes widen as she sees a storm up ahead. 'O-ok, this was a bad idea.. I'll go back.. for now' she decides and turns back to Berk.

Apon arriving back, not far from the village, she staggers and flops down, tired. With her energy spent, she shifts to hybrid form, much to her relief, but she stays lieing on the ground, her eyes half closed.

Argos

The plasmid blast flew abovehead.

"Argos!" Twilight roared through the storm and he instantly returned her shout with a screech of his own, drowning out the coming order. Even so he felt an intense complusion to stop and find out what the command was.

Do that and you die, do that and you die, d...wait... what if...

Whhoowhowhowhowhoowhoo...!

The chain Teri threw like a bola sped past in a narrow miss.

Argos tilted his wide wings upward, fully extended, and braced as the next instant he was sent reeling back in a violent gust that slammed into him like a ton of bricks. He sped past Twilight, then Flitt and dangerously close to Teri's poisonous tails before disappearing into the fog behind them.

Now that should by him a few seconds, he shook the dizziness from his head, pupils still slits. Choosing a random direction he sunk lower until the waves were practically splashing his pincers. Twilight was in an almost complete fury dive by the time she could spin around and catch up she wouldn't know which way to look, much the same for Teri

(@all: is that alright? Or did you want to recapture Argos? Currently his plan (or rather mine >:D) is escape, and then cause trouble in Berk. He must get the location of Dragon's Down before he takes any further steps in his plan.

Also, sad news: I'll be leaving the rp at the end of the month -_- It's the new year and I'm planning to dedicate my writing time to my own stories. It has absolutely been a blast I love rping and you guys are great; there are so many ideas I have and so much I wanted to develope with my characters here, and to get to know your's better as we rp'd, so moving on is bittersweet :'3 For the next wo weeks or so we can play it by ear, then once I'm out, if anyone wants to take over Argos at any point I'm open to that)

(aw D: I wish thee luck with writing :) )

Flitt tried to shoot the Deathgripper as he shot past, but he was too fast and he was gone before her blast could even reach him. There was no chance he could be found in the cloud, but she tried anyway, sweeping back and forth above, in and below the cloud. It was raining below, the sound of the raindrops smashing into the ocean drowning out any sound that would have given him away. Flitt stayed high above the sea, not at all wanting to get near it.

No no...Dang it they lost

No no...Dang it they lost him... "Dang it!" Teri cried out in frustaration after losing sight of the escaped Argos. On the other side, Skulltrill response to Jason is a maw closing around the first thing he could get a bite on with full intention to hurt and maim.

(Awww! It was loads of fun rping with you Lissa, sorry to see you go! ;-;)

Twilight cries out in fright as the same gust of wind that sends Argos out of reach knocks her off balance and sends her spiraling out of control towards the ocean.

Jason hisses in pain as the skrill sinks his fangs into the deathgripper's pincer. "Ow! Stop it, I'm trying to help you!" he snarls, trying to shake the dragon off.

Argos, Ian, Grace

(Thanks guys :3 gonna enjoy as rping as I can to the end of the month)

It was ten full minutes before the deathgripper dared to rise high enough above the waves Twilight's echolocation could pick him out. He looked to the left

Then to the right.

Nothing. No one.

Argos grinned smugly to himself as his pupils slowly dilated to their normal size. Another close call for the books.

His grin faded a litte. New books. Blast those little dragonbloods and their greedy little paws. First his sword, then his notebook. Once Haddock took a good look at that they'd be sending more than a team of teenagers looking for him.

Another gust, not even a harsh one almost put him in the sea. There was time to think about all that later, for now he just had to keep his tired wings beating long enough to find land.

And there it was.  Dragonblood Island. Of course. Spitting at the sight and beginning to feel it was cursed (at least for him), he kept toward it anyways.

"Twenty runes who spends twenty runes on a cannister of milk anyways? I paid seven with taxes in an overbearing monarchy. Democracy. Ha."

"Papa," Bonnys voice came a bit softer than earlier and she visually relaxed as he approached the door. "...I thought Mama asked for straw for our beds."

"Not to worry, the straw is coming," Ian said. at the cost of another rune for delivery. Phlegma knew how to drive a hard bargain. "And I figured the milk would make a nice housewarming gift for you all."

The sixteen-year-old smiled faintly. Milk was a rare treat in the fisherman's family, seeing that they lived by the sea on an island with limited amounts of space for livestock and crops. The cheer soon left her face. "Where's Grace?"

"What do you mean?" Ian looked keenly to his oldest after setting the milk down. "She should be here I sent her back."

As visually as she'd relaxed at the sight of him she now tensed. "She's not here Papa."

Ornery dickens, He set his jaw, vaguely remembering there was something suspicious to her tone. "I even watched her go until she was out of sight. Must have slipped away to see what she could of Berk. Be a dear and don't tell your mama about it yet, alright, Bonny? I'll fetch Grace and be back in no time there's no reason to worry her."

On the other side of the lovely, fantasticly chaotic village of Berk Grace was watching. She had been seeing just how close she could get to the cliff's edge, arms spread out to catch the wind and looking down at the rocks a hundred feet below. It was dizzying, but she was determined to get used to it, that was until she spotted something coming toward her out of a dark northern storm.

It was a beautiful dragon with butterfly wings, but was deeply distressed. Smart, Grace knew a wild anything in distress was not the kind of thing you wanted to walk right out in front of. She crouched behind a nearby rock to keep from being noticed and waited.

The creature staggered to the ground and flopped, shifting into a young woman with butterfly wings. Grace caught her breath. Even in her weariness she was so beautiful, like a make believe fairy for reals.

Forgetting that whole bit above she walked right out in front of the young woman.

"You look exhausted," Grace blurted, concern on her face. "Are you ok? Can I help you? Do you need help getting back to the village?"

Nora looks up, startled by the voice, but she relaxes a little bit as she sees a human girl. "I'm ok -" she starts in dragon-tounge, but she quickly switches to human-tounge. "I'm ok, just tired. Not used to flying. I.. I don't think it's a good idea for me to go back to the village though.. I might attack innocent people or dragons..." she says quietly and sits up slowly.
