THE TIES OF A BROKEN FAMILY

How much do you value family?

Enough for it to influence every decision you've ever made?

In a broken family, who would you put to blame?

A king, two twisted siblings and one ancient island.

Who will triumph?

Prologue - The Island Will Catch You

Prologue

The Island Will Catch You

The Island had watched everything. All of the battles and the wars that will be explained, all of the betrayals and wrongdoing that took place. And the island would get its payback.

However, right now, the figure was watching the island right back. For the figure new what was to come for those who trusted.

This island, of course, is known nowadays as Icestorm Island. Discovered a few years ago after a mysterious egg hatched the native Groncicle, and lead a group of students to its home, it was discovered that this island was the resting place of an ancient civilization. However. There is always a however. Everybody knew there was something off about the island. Considering the rate of erosion of the island's climate, the way the buildings and the constructions stood, suggested that this place was lived in no more than thirty years ago. Everyone could tell this, for there was a sensation you would feel walking through the eerie mists of the cold underground village. So why did everyone act as though it was ancient? The answer is simple; They were scared. If a city with such a vibrant population were to suddenly vanish, you would worry about how it came to be that way, would you not? You will notice that no student or teacher will spend more than thirty minutes below ground in the ice caves of Icestorm Island, because there is a feeling, a tingling in your bones telling you, "Get out of here. Leave now." And for good reason too. For this island wasn't home to any old tribe, this tribe was known as The Mongrels.

King Stormheart looked upon his island in pride and worship of his creation, as he docked and went off on his normal routine.
