Thank you! I love her!
And yes, Periwinkle is silly *loud cough* DID YOU HEAR THAT PERIWINKLE?!
She sleeps too much..
Kaylee was sitting by the sea, relishing the sound of the waves sliding along the beach. She had just come back form feeding her dragons. Then she heard a singsong echo. She looked around her but saw nothing.
The echo came again. This time, it sounded closer. Then she saw a smooth orange and yellow fin slicing through the water. It was a long way away, but the fin was moving at an incredible speed. When it was almost at the beach, it made a sharp turn and suddenly, a dragon rose out of the water.
It had yellow scales and orange fins like the sunset on the sea. Kaylee was mesmerized by its beauty as it fell back into the water with barely a splash.
The dragon clambered onto the beach with four webbed talons. There was a large fish dangling from its mouth. The dragon gobbled it down. It was about to go back into the sea when it suddenly snapped its head around to stare at Kaylee.
The dragon tasted the air with its mouth, and tilted its head at Kaylee. Kaylee held her breath, waiting for it to bolt. Instead, it came a bit closer. It seemed to be sniffing hard for something.
Then Kaylee suddenly realized that her hands probably smelled like fish from her dragon's lunch. She stuck out her hand and the dragon sniffed it. It barely hesitated before it began to lick her hand.
Kaylee smiled and used her other hand to pat the dragon's head. "You look like the sunset, so that should be your name. Sunset." She told the dragon, which she now saw was a female. The dragon responded by opening its mouth, but instead of a roar, a beautiful musical note drifted out.
As she got up to leave, Sunset followed her. Kaylee took it to the pond beside her hut in Dragon's Edge. Sunset has made it her home.
Personality: Playful, food-loving, trusting.
Number 2, batch 5.
Lancelot and Fleetfoot were exploring an island that was undescovered until they found it. The island was dark and damp, and the caves were even more so as they entered into an huge cave. It was extremely dark, so Lancelot lit a torch he'd been carring around. They explored the cave, finding nothing but a few pools of water where the water went through the roof when it rained. Lancelot sighed. Nothing interesting here.
They turned around, heading back the way they entered. The trip took long. And halfway through, Lancelot heard a cruuunch under his feet. Both Lancelot and Fleetfoot froze. Slowly, they both moved their heads down to see what had cracked.
Bones. Piles of bones, belonging to humans. Lancelot gulped, Fleetfoot suddenly alert. They listened, but heard nothing. Lancelot turned around. It was almost as if something was watching them ...
Lancelot stood there for another moment, and then shook his head.
"Lets just get out of here and hope that whatever did this is not going to do the same to us." But when Lancelot turned back to the place where Fleetfoot was, he found nothing.
He once again froze. "Fleetfoot," he whispered. "Fleetfoot, where are you?"
Dramatically, his torch nuffed out in one loud hisssss. Lancelot started panicking. He lit his torch again. Whatever thing took Fleetfoot might not eat dragons ... he hoped. For Fleetfoots sake. And for his. He wouldn't make it out here without Fleetfoot.
After a minute of studying the walls, in the little light the torch offered, suddenly there was a thunk of something heavy and metallic falling onto the floor. That was the sound of a Razorwhip falling. Lancelot swirled around, and sure enough, Fleetfoot the Razorwhip was on the floor. And breathing. Injured, but breathing.
Lancelot managed to get Fleetfoot back on his feet. They hurried out as fast as possible for a injured dragon. Thye got out safely, thank goodness, and Fleetfoot managed to fly them back to Berk.
A few weeks later, Lancelot was curious of what had attacked Fleetfoot in the cave. So he went exploring again, but this time not in the cave. There was a hole in the cave wall where he peeked through with a spyglass. After standing there for a hours, something landed on the cave ground. It was magnificent, and dangerous.
Lancelot studied the dragon for many month's to come, learning exactly where it hides, what it prefers to eat, ect. So, he went in, staring at the exact spot where he knew the dragon would be hiding. He swallowed hard, offering him his favourite things to eat other than humans.
The dragon accepted, but after he swallowed it whole, it came closer without a sound, growling silently. She was aiming for Lancelot. But she did not attack.
Lancelot opened one of his now-closed eyes. It had disappeared.
The visits after that were the same. And it was the same for years after. But Lancelot was still detirmed to be able to stroke it, ect, and he was sure he would come to that stage. For now, Daredevil needed time to get used to him.
Sort of uncaring, loves to intimidate you, will choose herself before you. But she's growing as a dragon.
Batch 5, Number 2
Personality: Doesn't often listen, but loyal nonetheless. Camo is also very defensive!
Backstory(this is short, sorry!):
5 minutes after finding the dragon (from dragon's POV):
"Come ON Periwinkle, we have to take him in!".
What was happening? Who were these creatures, invading my home? I'd lived in darkness all my life, and then they bring flaming TORCHES in here? How could this human speak Dragonese? My language, my species language, and they just barge in here speaking it. I supposed I'd make the most out of it though. By telling them to leave.
"Hey, weird things," I began.
They turned to face me.
"Take me home," I said, bandly. I don't know where it came from, but I decided I wanted it to happen. Next thing I knew, we were at an island they called Berk. What a strange name! But, hey, it's quite nice.
I've only been here for 3 days, but this is what I know:
- My name is 'Camo'
- I'm apparently special
- I like the fish
- Stables are nice
- Huge Woolly Howls apparently don't like adopted dragons
- Huge Woolly Howls apparently like knocking so-called adopted dragons unconsious.
- I cannot wait for the coming days!
Someone else wants 2, so I'll change it to Number 3. You always beat me, Hunter.
Eeverything stays the same except the name and gender, which I'll change to:
Shadowspirit (Batch 5, number 5)
Shadowspirit lives alone in a cave on a deserted island. He hated humans, & in a way, still does. But after he decided to go on an adventure, everythign changed. He was busy collecting rocks (His favourite thing in the world, dont ask) When some man juped out of no where & caught him. He struggled, but the man took him anyway. He shoved him into a small cage. Shadowspirit would have been ther forever, if he hadn't been rescued by afireworm queen & its rider. after they had defeated the men that had caught him, the fireworm queen & its rider let him go. Shadowspirit still doesn't like humans, but because of that one act of kindness, he has grown to like them. At least a little bit.
lepoardsnow (Batch 5, number 6)
Lepoardsnow, unlike her species, loved the snow. She lived in it, played in it, & sometimes even ate it, just to be silly. However, that meant none of her same species liked her. Whenever she got together with the others, they would ignore her, & talke amongst the others. This made lepoardsnow extreamly depressed. She loved making firends, but she loved the snow even more. She couldn't give up the snow for other dragons to like her. Hopefully, one day, she'd find someone who loved snow as much as her.
one day, while she was playing in the snow, she saw a human dressed head to toe in white fur skins. The human was playing in the snow with a giant green windgnasher. She was curious. She lived far up north. No humans liked it here, except that one. She decided to investigate, & went over to play with the human. She, the human, & the green windgnasher became good friends, & played in the snow all day. When it was finally done & the human left, Lepoardsnow smiled to herself. She'd finally made a friend just like her.
Wow, these look ferocious! Okay, I've given it my best shot:
Batch 5 Number 3
It was raining. Not the sprinkling kind, that was fine, but no, it had to be the complete and utter downpour that it was. It wasn't the worst thing Copperblaze had had to face, but it definitely put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun afternoon of flying. Instead, she was trudging through thick mud with a dragon that was afraid of water.
Said dragon was a particularly excitable Skrill named Raika, but now there was no trace of her normal enthusiasm as she did her best to stay in the shelter of the trees, but there was no escape from the rain. "Wait," said Copperblaze, squinting to see anything, "is that a cave?"
Raika bounded over to check, then beckoned Copperblaze over with her head. She would have cheered if she weren't so tired and cold. Any firewood Copperblaze had carried was soaked through, and Raika was so wet she wouldn't have been able to produce even a spark, so the duo had to make do with huddling together for warmth. It helped, but just slightly.
It wasn't long before they heard strange noises in the cave. They were faint and barely audible, but if they listened hard enough, they could hear a scuttling sound, mixed with short whimpers. It was impossible to tell where they were coming from, but even if Copperblaze and Raika did know, it would have been hard to coax them from their meager warmth huddled together.
Copperblaze looked out the mouth of the cave as best as she could, struggling to see through the heavy rain. There was a faint red glow in the distance. "Oh no," she muttered, knowing that sunset was coming. "It's only going to get colder from here, I'd better look for some dry wood."
Her eyes had adjusted to the dark by then, but even that only gave her a slight advantage. There was no light to speak of in the pitch-black cave. "Gah!" she shrieked as her foot caught on a vine, causing her to fall flat on her face. Raika ran over, determined to protect her friend, but Copperblaze explained wearily, "It's okay, Raika. It was just a root- wait. What is that?"
There was a faint shape in the mass of vines. She reached out and pulled out- a dragon? It was about the size of a Terrible Terror, but a completely different shape. It didn't look like it was breathing.
Copperblaze gave it to Raina, hoping that the greater body heat of the Skrill would help warm it- her? it looked like a her- up. After a few minutes, the tiny dragon started to stir, and immediately started lashing out. Her claws did nothing to the other dragon's tough scales, though. Maybe it was a baby? Copperblaze's search for tinder had just gotten more necessary.
After a minute more, she'd collected a fairly large bundle of wood. Fumbling with her flint and steel, she eventually managed to create a decent fire. Scrambling to put the dragon beside it, she was relieved when her breathing became more even. Looking out the cave mouth, she saw that the sun had finally set. "Sunset," she mused. "That's... actually a good name. Maybe that'll be your name, alright, Sunset?"
But the tiny dragon had fallen asleep. Copperblaze, tired from the day's activities, fell asleep by the fire too, trusting Raika to keep her safe. She didn't know what the next day would bring, but they would face it together.
Oh, darn it! Someone else took 3. I guess that's what happens when you put too much time in to a story! Oh well. Can I have 4, then?
Story is the same except for this paragraph:
After a minute more, she'd collected a fairly large bundle of wood. Fumbling with her flint and steel, she eventually managed to creat a decent fire. Scrambling to put the dragon beside it, she was relieved when her breathing became more even.
Looving out the cave mouth she saw that the sun had finally set and the rainclouds were beginning to disappear off the horizon. "Raincloud," she mused. "That's... actually a good name. Maybe that'll be your name, alright, Raincloud?"
edit: Sorry, I only put the batch number and not the adoptable #
Batch: 5 (Shadow Hunters), #1
It was a late night out in the woods that I had foolishly agreed to camp in. All around me the leafless branches seemed to swirl into ominous silhouettes with pale glinting eyes but my brain told me it was mere fear doing this.
Then, the ground began to rumble. As the trees shook and dirt exploded upwards I KNEW this was no mind trick. Before I had registered what had happened I was petrified at the sight that lay before me; a wild, hot-headed Whispering Death.
It's many rows of teeth spun and uttered a eerie hissing noise that I was sure would be the last thing I hear before I was flayed. Just as the Whispering Death decided to make a move a shadow literally peeled itself away from the gloom with split second timing and attacked the Death, wrestling it to the ground.
As I blinked the dust out of my eyes I could just barely see the head of a dragon-like creature staring at me, steely red eyes glinting with a foreign emotion. Then, almost as quickly as it happened the creature ripped away from the frightened Whispering Death to let it retreat into a hole. I lay stunned as I took in what happened. I knew not what that fleeting encounter with that.. dragon meant, but I knew there was definitely more ahead for both of us.
AaaAACK!!!! One is mine please! Form coming momentarily.!!!
batch: 5, #1
story synopsis: a Viking man was out in the very early early morning, when the moon was full and still prominent in the sky. He hunkered down in the wilderness near a stream and some berry bushes. He was hunting boar. He was hunting for food and for bravery and because a few were destroying crops at night. He silently waited until finally a lone boat showed up to graze the bushes and drink water. The Viking held a bow and arrows, and shot the boat with them. This only served to anger the beast. The boar screamed, and instead of running away as he ought, charged the man. The Viking raised a very thick sharp spear, ready to strike a killing blow, before the boar could deliver his. But suddenly, a shadow suddenly broke off from the blackness and struck the angry beast first. A rather demonic dragon, making no noise crushed the boar's windpipe quickly and held down the beast until it died. As silent as the dragon had appeared, ihe disappeared again into blackness, dragging the carcass with it. The Viking was shocked. How long had that dragon been there? Had he been hunting, too? Had he been hunting him??
Intrigued, the Viking scouted the area during the day. He found the reminants of the boar carcass, and eventually found a sleek black dragon, lazing in the sun. The dragon hardly moved, even at his approach. It was a far cry from the killing beast he had encountered at night.
Number 7 of Special Batch please!
(From Usetess's POV)
Usetess was taking a walk randomly in the dessert, not really caring where he was going. He'd only recently reached maturity, and so a week ago he was on his first hunt for food. His family always hunted for him, waiting for him to grow up before he hunts for himself. And a week ago, he went on his first hunt to get a human for dinner.
His family had strict rules. And so when he failed at catching a human on his third try, they abandoned him, kicked him out. He has been alone for the whole week. He ate mostly small things, not enough to satisfy his stomach, but enough to keep him from starving.
A loud, flap of wings were getting closer. Usetess immediately dived into the sand, afriad it might be a predator. He waited the for what felt like days, but was actually just minutes. After another long while, he listened again. Nothing. He peeked out of the sand, and immediately dived back in. He wasn't alone.
A purple Sand Wraith was hovering over the hole he dug when he dived into the sand. He preyed it wouldn't see him, and slow as possible, he crawled further away from the hole. But he was so clumsy unlike most Sand Devils, that the purple Sand Wraith saw him immediately.
Usetess sqealed and tried to fight as the Sand Wraith grabbed hold of his tail with his teeth and pulled him out.
The Sand Wraith set him down, and Usetess was ready to dive back into the sand, but then the scent caught him. Fish.
Fish wasn't his favourite, but it was still better than starving.
Usetess smelled again, crawling closer to the smell, suddenly forgetting about the Sand Wraith. But when he was done tracking the smell, he found the fish was in a bag strapped to the Sand Wraith. This Sand Wraith wasn't just any Sand Wraith - it was a dragon riders Sand Wraith. The Sand Wraith had probably decided to spend some time in the dessert alone and the rider had given him fish for the ride.
The Sand Wraith dragged some fish out of the bag, offering it to Usetess, who immediately dug in and in a matter of seconds, the fish was gone.
And the Sand Wraith gave him the whole bag, which was empty in a matter of seconds. Usetess licked his lips, his stomach still growling. The Sand Wraith took flight, gesturing for him to follow.
And he did, because if they had more free food, then he wouldn't mind.
And after a long whiles flight in which he got hungrier, they finally landed on an island buzzing with movement of both dragon and Viking. Usetess had heard about this island, and if he recalled correctly, it was called Berk, an island that Viking's rode dragons. The Sand Wraith then led him to a girl with redish/pinkish hair, and she inspected him. She and the Sand Wraith seemed to communicate somehow.
"Good job, Renzo," she said, cuddling the Sand Wraith, Renzo. Then her attention turned to him. "You must be hungry, aren't ya?" She offered him a basket of fish, which was devourered in a matter of seconds.
That night, he slept in the girls room. He had always disagreed with his family's rule of not doing anything with humans except eating them. And now look, he was a Viking's dragon. Though they still had a lot to learn about each other, and Usetess had to resist the urge to eat them all.
Yup, his family would not be proud of him
Hungry - always hungry, no matter what. Cuddly, caring but too proud to admit he enjoys living with humans.
Batch 6, Number 3.
Personality: Not that friendly..
Backstory (from dragon's POV again):
The odd human gasped. Why hadn't I the nerve to scrath them yet, or to bite them? Why was I merciful?
"It's a miracle! Periwinkle, you didn't counter-argue to an adopted dragon!"
"Whatever," I blurted out. The Woolly Howl and the Viking turned to face me. Luna, her name was. I think.. She streched out her clammy hand and closed her eyes. The 'Howl was growling at me, ready to defend her. I already guessed that they wanted me to put my face on her hand and be tamed. Never! I am a fierce dragon, and proud! Why would anyone expect me to give in to such a silly thing?! I took out my claw and attempted to scratch the hand. But the large dragon shot a snowball at me and they flew off, the human on the dragon's back.
3 months later...
I woke up with a shock. The walls of my snow-cave were crumbling down, and the ground was shaking.
"Earthquake?" I asked aloud. As if anyone would hear me. I was running out, until the rocks came down and blocked the exit. I was trapped.
"Periwinkle, isn't this fun?" shouted a distant voice. I knew that voice. The Viking girl who tried to tame me was back.
"Woolly Howl, that's why it's so fun!" This time it was the dragon from before. I had no other choice but to become a tame dragon. I let out my piercing roar and heard the sound of flapping wings from outside. A snowball came and shot down the wall. I did nothing, except jump on the Woolly Howl's back.
"Welcome, TidePool. You'll like Berk." said Luna.
And she was correct. However, I'm still wild and agressive. No one can tame an Ice Piercer!
Thank you! And don't worry, Tide was a baby at that time :)
2, batch 6
Furr Monster, or furr lived with a group of snow wraiths on icestorm island. He was raised by them, & all his life thought he was one. One day, his siblings went off the attack a group of invading creatures. Furr Monster stayed in the cave, alone & far away from any strange creatures. Athough, while he slept, one of the strange beasts wandered into his home. when he woke up, he saw the strange beast. He thought it was very funny, walking on two legs & all. After watching it for a while, he decided he liked it.
After it left, he told his family he was leaving to follow the strange creature. So he left them & went to follow the strange beast. He followed it to Berk, & decided he liked the cold, but not too cold weather there. He finally met up with the creature, which seemed to live there, & he's been there ever sense.
Batch 6, number 1.
((From Glacier's POV))
This was the biggest, hardest blizzard the pack of Ice Piercers had ever encountered. It was getting hard to see each other, and their legs were tired from struggling through the blizzard. Glacier, traveling at the end of the pack, was struggling the most. He was known to be slow in stuff like these, because when he was a hatchling, he tripped over a sharp piece of ice and got a deep gash, that left his leg akward for the rest of his life. He was still able to walk, but in blizzards or when swiming or something like that, he struggled. The pack had also been walking for hours. They were migrating, trying to find a decent place to call their own.
After another hour of walking in which they didn't see a single cave, something bright flickered in the distance. As the pack got closer, the leader in front, they saw something they didn't see every day.
A girl, probably around her early twenties, was sitting in the snowstorm. But that wasn't the weirdest part: The weirdest part was that there was a long line of fire pouring from her hands, forming a block of fire around her to protect her from the blizzard. She had red hair, braided and resting on one of her shoulders, brilliant bright blue eyes, and toned skin. She didn't look like she traveled in blizzards every day. So what was she doing here?
The blizzard and fire made that she couldn't see the pack of Ice Piercers at all. She was also mostly focusing on the flame pouring from her hands. But Glacier was sure of one thing - she was the prettiest human he'd ever seen. Not that he'd seen much humans.
He stared at her for what felt like minutes, but when he turned around, his pack was gone. Glacier searched for their tracks, but the blizzard had swept them away. He started to panic. He ran in every direction, even past the red-haired girl, but couldn't find them, ecpecially not with his foot. But then Glacier realized where he was.
He'd stopped beside the block of fire, where the girl sat inside, wrapped in a fur cloak. And she saw him. She was looking straight into his eyes. And even through the fire he could see her blue eyes sparkling in both excitment and fear. As if testing to see what he'd do, she expanded her block of fire a little to him. He yelped in a dragon way, jumping back. She smiled.
She threw a fish at the edge of the fire block. Then the wall of fire opened up enough for Glacier to get through. After the long walk, fish made his stomach rumble. And eating had always calmed him. So he stepped inside, shuddering at the sudden warmth. He picked up the fish and chewed happily. The block of fire closed behind him. Though somehow, he just knew the red-haired girl wouldn't hurt him. So he crawled closer, sleep overtaking him. He lied down next to the girl, too tired to think of the risks, and fell asleep.
((lol, my stories are starting to sound too much the same :D))
Risk-taker, though not very adventourous. Hates taking walks and is definitely not fit for walks. But loving, caring, ect.
Form is coming!
Number: Batch 6, #5
Story Synopsis: StillingR was a Viking from Chilblain, out hunting Reindeer with a friendly Gronckle. The Gronkle was part of the group that had stayed with the people of Chilblain, despite the cold of their lands (see one of the comic books). The two stalked a small herd with bow and arrow. What he didn't know was that a small pack of Ice Piercers were also stalking them. Stillingr watched as the dragons fanned out and pulled down two of the weaker members of the Reindeer group. Suddenly, the dragons themselves started falling down. A swarm of Northlanders clad in brightly colored furs shot down the dragons with poisoned arrows. (See also one of the other comics about Northlanders.) they had cages and chains mounted on sleds and skis. They tied up and took the dragons, leaving the reindeer. Stiilingr loaded the reindeer on the gronkle and with a note, sent him back to Chilblain to ask for help. He went on to secretly follow the Northlanders.
Stillingr followed the Northlanders to a large camp containing other dragons. It seemed they were yet again trying to start up a dragon auction, or at least amass some dragons to sell. Stillingr was not sure if it was more lucrative to butcher the Peircers for their tusk ivory and other bits, or sell a whole, live dragon ...
Eventually some Chilblain townspeople showed up. Hijinks ensue and the dragons are liberated. FrostFang is young and injured and Stillingr takes him back with him. They form an understanding, and eventually FrostFang makes a good hunting dragon for him.
(I think I'm making this too complicated on myself ...)
Do you have any left?
They are so cute!
(Sorry I have never done this before)
Can I please have number 4?
I woke up suddenly, and saw the hole in the roof of my hideout.
It was the second time this week a terrible terror had crashed through my roof.
Someone was going to have to fix that problem.
As I went to see if it was ok, I noticed it was larger then a normal terror.
As I got even closer I notice it wasn't even a terror!
It was a dragon I had never seen before!
As I got closer, all of a sudden she lunged at me.
I saw my life past before my eyes!
Until she stopped and started licking my hand!
I couldn't find what species she was anywhere.
I showed hiccup and the other dragon riders.
We decided we would study this new dragon species for a while.
To do this we decided someone had to look after her.
That person was me. :)
After many weeks of research, we discovered she was only a baby.
She was also very friendly for her species.
I named her Firecomet because she came crashing through my roof.
Can I have nr 4 from the new batch? It will be a boy and I'll call him Bleetus. This is his backstory: Once there was a big tree on a place called a Broken Island. On that island was a dragon. Which in the past was a Bewilderbeast. But after many years of war and sad days of his life he started to shrink. After many months he bacame as small as a Night Fury. His life still wasn't happy. The days were long and boring. They were bringing many pain to him. He decided to go away from a Broken Island, which broke his heart. He wasn't able to fly so he was swimming through the ocean. He travelled for 6 years with no break. He saw many islands but they all seemed the same to him... In a giant storm through the pouring rain a dragon was swimming and swimming. Suddenly a rider on a Night Fury with pink alpha glow appeared. She saw the dragon and quickly came up to help him. When she got him out of the water she quickly flew to her house to dry the dragon and dress his injuries. When the dragon awoke the girl said:
- Hey, little guy! I'm Zikta and this is my dragon, Gless.
The dragon looked at girl with a friendly smile. He seemed like he wanted to say "thank you for saving my life".
- Have you got a name?
A dragon flatly contradicted.
- Hmmm... Well so I guess I should give you one, shouldn't I?
The dragon roared happily.
- Ok. So... Do you like the name Bleetus?
A dragon smiled. He loved his new name. He wanted to stay with Zikta. And so he did. They were living in friendship for a very long time and Bleetus' days weren't sad.
OMG! I can't belive! Finally I was on time! :D
((Haha, these guys remind me of dino's in The Good Dinosaur))
Batch 7, number 1.
Freya was roaming the forest, following a river upstream. She was tired of hiking. She'd planned the hike because she thought it'd be good for her. Now she was questioning her decision. The stream of the river was moving strong and fast, going downstream. Freya, after another hour, decided to go home. And that might be a good idea, because there was a storm coming. A big one.
But she was too far from Berk. It didn't look like the storm would go all the way to Berk, so at least she wouldn't have to worry about them. But she needed t0 find shelter.
She started jogging. She had to find shelter or else ... And then she saw the cave. It was big, the darkness stretching far. She was about to step in, but then something wizzed past, carried in the stream. A dragon. Freya panicked - what if the dragon wouldn't survive the storm? She had to help it. It was being carried down stream, fast.
She broke into a run, chasing after the dragon. She grabbed a net, knotting it around a tree as fast as possible. Then she continued dashing after the dragon, and when it was in reach, she threw out the net. It wrapped around the dragon, and she watched as it was carried down stream. Then the rope ran out. The dragon snapped to a sudden halt, the net holding on. It worked. She started pulling on the net, as hard as possible. Finally, she got the dragon out of the stream. She then cut the rope and ran back to the cave. She knew it'd think she was trying to trap it, and she didn't want it to try to kill her.
She entered the cave, just as the first bit of wind arrived. Then the rain came, and she watched as the storm fully hit. She hoped the dragon was okay.
She fell asleep while waiting for the storm to pass. And when it did, that same dragon found her, and tried to eat her. But Freya heard it coming. She'd been training her whole life - she'd be able to escape. She hefted her axe, pointing it at the dragon as a threat.
"If you take another step closer ..."
She didn't want to hurt it. All she wanted to do is get out here alive. The dragon growled in response, taking a step back. Freya frowned, then turned around to see what it was looking at. Freya gasped. Her Singing Fin Wing, Curianian, was standing behind her, slowly emerging from the shadows. How had she found Freya? But there wasn't time for wondering.
Curianian let out a growl. Freya had still not completely trained Curianian, but their bond was strong nevertheless. And she was greatful.
Curianian started to sing. Freya assumed as a distraction for her to get away, but Freya wasn't leaving Curanian. But the dragon perked up at the music, it's tail moving with the song. And Freya saw her chance. She stepped in front of it, and offered it a fish. Then she held out her hand and after a moment, the dragon rested it's head against it.
After that, Freya started visiting the dragon, always bringing Curanian with to help her train it. It seemed to like music.
Loving, caring, motherly, but not very trusting to anyone except Curanian and Freya - and anyone who has music.
