THE ROLEPLAY ~Adventure Awaits (!Closed!)
Kanesnya hesitated. She wasn't exactly comfortable explaining. She sighed. "Look. For the first time ever, I'm on my own in the world. I need to make mistakes. Go where the wind takes me. Just...live. I don't see why you care."
"I know this sounds silly, but there's something going on on that moutain," Kanesnya said, using her free arm to point to Mt. Pillar,"And I have to find out." Kanesnya blushed. "Silly, right?"
Kanesnya ignored the prank. "I don't know what I feel. I'm an Ilk, not a miracle worker. Something...changed." She braced herself for Magik waking up. It would happen soon.
Rachel came back with her casual clothing on, the just kept the mask and her boots on. She looked at the scene before her, she gave Cody and Kanesnya a confused look. "I missed something. Didn't I?"
Magik felt her regaining consciouses again. Her eyes began to futtern open. The first thing she saw was Rachel and River. She was looking over at Cody and Kanesiaynes. Magik pushed herself up and rubbed the back of her head. Maybe something hit her really hard. "What happened?" She asked.
She looked over at Kanesiaynes and she was looking at her weirdly. Magik looked over her body. Everything seemed to be there. Then then looked down and saw black. She brought her fingers up and rubbed it across her upper lip. She felt marker on her fave. She looked up at Cody. "You little...." She said thrusting herself uo. Then she ran at Cody and rammed into him, sent in Magik and him off of the rock and onto the he ground.
She held Cody to the ground and reached her hand behind her to see if she could grab anything. Her hand found a stick. She picked it up and began it hit Cody with it. If wasn't enough to draw blood but it was enough to hurt. She waked him for a good minute than stood up and threw the stick away. She turned to Cody before he could stand up away d she lightly kicked him on the head. She knew she couldn't hurt him too much, because she was her friend. But she figured that that was good enough and sat walked over to the rock and took Cody's spot. "So what happened while I was out?" She asked.
"Well that's good I guess. But why did I suddenly fall asleep?" She asked.
Rachel shrugged and said. "All I know is I left, I come back and your on the ground with marker on your face."
She glared at Rachel and then smiled. "How bad is it?" She asked, touching her face with her hands. "I can't see myself and I don't carry a mirror with me. Well, I did once and it broke. It gave me seven years of bad luck. And it was really, I mean really, bad. Those were the days when I saw werewolves and there were monsters under my bed. But actually most of the werewolves were nice, minus when they tried to kill me when they were in wolf form. But besides that, they were awesome. But the monsters, they are a different story. And the creature under the stairs. That. Was. Horrible."
Rachel paused for a moment. "Every type of marker wears off, even permit...... I'll just go with that."
"Well that's just great. Now I know it's bad. Maybe I broke another mirror my luck. Give me a sec." She turned around and made a really weird sound that was between a horse and a llama. Then Whowaka came running out from the underbrush. "There you are." She said, walking up to him and petting his main. Then he pulled away from her and walked over to Cody and tried to hide behind him. "Oh I see, you don't like my marker makeup face either? Well that makes two of us!" Magik said, sitting down onto the hard ground. Maybe she should've gotten a cat than a zebra. Cats were more loyal. But at the same time she could just take River. Nah, Whowaka is too special to be replaced.
"Scrub real hard, or wash your face with warm water and soap, then dry your face off, and then put coconut oil on the area then rub and wipe until it's gone, or wait a couple of days." Rachel said. "Please don't ask me how I know that."
"I think I'll just wait a few days. The rest of the opinions make me feel like I'm going to rub my face off." She told Rachel. Then suddenly a giant boom came from behind them. Far behind them. Magik slowly turned around around and saw that it came for the super large mountain that was in the distance. The boom shook the hole ground. Good thing that she was sitting on the ground and not standing. If she was, she probably would have fallen over from the force. She turned to the group. "Guessing time! Who wants to go first?"
(( Um, where can Daemon jump in, Vo? I am eager to roleplay with him again.))
(( bump for my group, @shataikislayer and @featheronfire ^^))
Should I change the situation so Ayame bumps into this phantom (what was it again?) that Wal and Echo were talking about? Then it could at least get you into action.
That would work! I'ma get a PM with shata just to make sure they know we're still here XD
Rachel fell down with the rumble, river stiffened up. When it stopped she said. "Let's see, no smoke with rock and ash..... so.... not volcano."
"Come on!" She yelled. She was still within the mountain. But she was deep down inside it. Trying to get an angry dragon to cooperate. The dragon was huge and had pitch black scales that shined when light touched them. And he was very stubborn.
Kinkaloo was trying to get it out from the bottom of the mountain which was not an easy task. She would have to get it to climb the spiraling staircase that was around the edges of the inside of the mountain, which were rather narrow for a dragon. And then she would have to force it into a huge room that was more on the top floor of the mountain.
This was not going to be a simple task.
She already had a chain around the beast's neck. Now she only had to get it up the stairs. Tugged and pulled on the rope of chain the she holding. She tried to march forward but the dragon didn't budge, leaving her walking in place. Her wings were already drooping from all the work she had been doing. And she was hungry.
"You know what! I don't need your help!" She yelled. Then she let go of the chain and flew up, completely ignoring the stairs she made for Deamon. Then she heard the dragon jump up and roar and it completely shook the group and made a loud boom that echoed through the cave. She had to cover her ears. Then she stopped and hovered in the air and looked down at the dragon. "Fine, by that way!" She yelled and then continued flying,
She finally reached the main level again. She was going to need a different plan for the dragon was to stubborn to listen and follow orders. She walked over to the opening of the cave and looked back inside. "See you in a few hours." She whispered, hoping that Deamon was there. Then she hopped off of the ledge and unfolded her wings and headed for the village of Feinfein.
" Huh, what happened?" Daemon was laying across a slab sticking out the inside of the mountain. His head felt like it was made of brick; he awoken to a headache. Unable to remember what happened beforehand, he just sat there and stared off into the darkness.
" How long was I asleep for?" He pushed himself off the slab and dropped down onto the floor, his fingers touching the floor. He went to search for Kinkaloo, but she was nowhere to be found.
" Fine, be that way." Daemon held his hands folded behind his back and walked off into the shadows of the cave. He went into his closet, pulling out his black hooded cloak. He changed his clothing, before pulling the hood over his head, leaving a shadow in his face. Daemon found the glooves with sharp claws at the ends and slipped them on. He put on his boots, and to top all that off, he slid the skull mask over his face which blocked his identity. His eyes now gave off a bright eerie red glow.
Daemon grabbed his h.ellfire shotguns and his scythe for melee combat. " Let's wait fot her to return. She'll just come crawling back to me." He paused, looking up towards the ceiling, where green eyes stared back at him. " Canibal, come!"
A large double-headed h.ellhound with golden armor jumped down from its hiding spot in the ceiling, landing with a thump. Its left head reared back with a huff while the right head snapped at the air. Its sharp talons clacked on the stone floor, and its thin tail lashed from side to side. " Yes Master Daemom." Spoke the left head.
" Guard the entrance to the mountain. I have other matters to tend to." Daemon said, disappearing into the shadows.
Kinkaloo was finally to the village of Feinfein. She landed in the same forest as she did last time and waited. She wasn't sure what she was waiting for. If she was going to become the next super villian, she couldn't be afraid of the unknown.
She tried to fold down her wings to the best of her ability, which wasn't very good and they still stuck out at weird angles. Then she made her way into the village.
It was quiet as always. With the old looking wood house that had straw on the roofs. And there was the school house that she used to go to as a child. She had such good memories there. The best one being the only friend she ever had, which was a young boy who felt bad for her always being left out and he tried to hang out with her. He was the only one who cared about her, minus her mother and her younger brother (Mohler). They used to have the funniest time together, running around at the playground, running between the swings.
But those times were over. She had to stay focused on the future if she wanted to surivie. She continued walking through the village, keeping eye for people who might be helpful in her plans. She would need numbers and strength.
Then she came to a narrow passageway where an elf (or a very short girl) was telling off somebody. Kinkaloo ignored it and kept walking. It was probably just a bully bullying another kid. That happened a lot in this village.
She pushed the kids out of her head and headed to the tree where her and that man brought the stolen money to. She pulled out the peice of parchment she brought with her and began to write on it.
I may need help with a new plan I'm forming. And I'm hoping you will help. I will pay you great amounts for your labor. If you are at all interested, please come to Mount Pillar. That is where I currently have stationed myself at.
She finished her letter and folded it then set it in the tree. The chances of him ever coming back to this place was slim, but it was worth a shot. At least she knew everything she wrote on the letter was true. If her plan succeeded, she would rule over the hole world. This was going to work. This had to work.
She quickly scampered into the village and brought a loaf of bread and some dry meat with some of the money she stole. She thanked the women who sold the bread and walked back to the forest. In the forest she unfolded her wings again and took off to the sky.
It was an hour later when she finally reached Mt Pillar. She entered the cave opening and walked in. Then she saw him, and she dropped all of the items in her arms. "Daemon." She said.
Something fell on the floor, followed by a voice. " Daemon."
Daemon smirked under his mask. Canibal jumped from his ledge and ran towards Kinkaloo, barking with slobber dripping from his mouth. " Canibal, heel!" Daemon commanded, and the h.ellhound stopped in his tracks sitting just feet away from Kinkaloo; he gave her a look before turning his head towards his master.
" Kinkaloo, why such the sudden surprise?" Daemon said without facing her, staring off into the back of the cave.
Suddenly, Daemon's hellhound charged Kinkaloo and she fell to the floor. Then Daemon comanded it to heel. "Why such a suprise?" He asked.
Kinkaloo was lost for words. Then she was able to spit something out, although it felt like she was choking. "Well... Well I checked the entire mountain earlier and you weren't there. I thought you could've......." her voice trailed off.
" Yeah, I don't know what happened. I woke up in a dark cave towards the back of the mountain." Daemon explained, finally facing Kinkaloo. He glanced down at the bread and meat on the floor. " You seem to have your hands full. What have you been up to while I was gone?"
She pointed to the pile of coins that were surrounding Daemon's throne. "I've been to the village of Feinfein twice. Once to steal that and a second time to get suppies.c" she respojded
Daemon looked over at the pile of gold and shinny riches on his throne. He didn't know she was capable of stealing that much treasure that great of a distance. Maybe she was smarter than he thought she was.
" Treasure? I'd love to see the look on those peoples' faces when they see that their...mine now...riches are gone." Canibal was eyeing the meat and Daemon noticed.
" Say, what's that for?" He asked suspicious.
"Well I originally got it for than you could do what you pleased with it. I mean, you can still do whatever you want with it. I guess I wouldn't know what to do with. This is awkward. Could I make you a sandwich?" She asked, holding up the bread and dried meat.
((Sorry for being gone for so long, unfortunatly I jut hardly find the time to post anymore. There's a good chance this may be my last rp, but I'll try to keep up with it. If I'm ever gone for a while again, feel free to control my characters.))
Wallace readied his sword and shield, then headed towards the noise. "Well what are we waiting for? Stay close and let's investigate!"
((that's totally fine. I hope all is well with you ^^))
Echo nodded, staying close to Wallace as they entered the forest. She did her best to keep up with him, and didn't do a bad job of it either. Years of traveling together had made her used to it.
She kept her eyes peeled for anything unusual. She also kept a look out for Ayame. She was starting to worry about the elf girl.
"Ayame!" She called. "You here?"
It didn’t take long for Ayame to find the town. She landed on the ground and walked around, taking a look around.
Huh, I wonder why they want to come here. Is there some sort of threat that those ‘heroes’ are planning to take care of? The elf wondered as she went down an alley.
That was when she spotted a dark figure move into the shadows, emitting an awful aura. She narrowed her eyes and headed towards that figure. With her superb vision, she made out the figure to be like one of a reaper.
Is this what they were talking about?
The elf didn’t have any longer of a moment to ponder when the reaper turned and hissed dangerously at her. She teleported away out of reflex, watching the reaper slash its scythe at where she just was.
“Geez,” she muttered.
But the reaper was on her in a moment. It had astonishing speed as it prepared to slice at her again. She leaped away back down the way she came. I didn’t even provoke it! And now it wants my life? Totally not cool.
This time, she wasn’t going to allow the reaper to attack her. Ayame took out her bow from her sheathe and drew an arrow and shot.
The arrow pierced it and created a hole, flying out the other side of its body. There was a shriek from the reaper, for she only infuriated it and got it more determined to take her life. The hole quickly closed up as if nothing struck through it and the reaper charged, faster than ever before and slashed.
Ok, that’s not so good. Ayame teleported up to a roof and called down. “Why do you want to kill me?”
She began racing across the rooftops of the buildings, the reaper on her tail. She looked back, seeing the reaper didn’t plan to let up.
“Eh, if you wanna take my life, you’ll have to catch me first!” She taunted.
She reached the end of the line of buildings and flashed down to the ground, launching another arrow up at the reaper. The same thing happened, the arrow creating a hole only to close up.
That’s just great, she thought and turned to run. Unfortunately, just as she turned and ran, she bumped into somebody and fell backwards.
“Get outta…” she said as she looked up. “Oh. It’s you.”
Of all people, she had just happened to run into Wallace.
Wallace had just made it to the edge of town when a familiar face came barreling into him. “Get outta…” she said as she looked up. “Oh. It’s you.” "Heh, well hello to you too." he said. His attention shifted to the figure descending rapidly towards them, and he lifted his shield to meet it's scythe. "And you must be our reaper." He pushed his shield back at the creature, shoving it back a small ways. Wallace had his sword and shield readied, he lived for these fights. "Wanna try taking on someone your own size? Picking on kids is pretty pathetic." A taunt for Ayame as much as the creature. A grin spread on his face as he rushed towards the reaper, his sword clashing against it's scythe. The creature tackled him into a wall and held him against it, raising it's scythe to attack. Wallace lifted his shield to protect from the attack, but couldn't free his shoulder from the creature's grasp.
Echo felt a sense of relief as she spotted Ayame, but the relief was gone as soon as it came, when she saw the large reaper like creature. She quickly whipped out her two pistols, and watched as Wallace was pinned by the creature. He was blocking the attacks well enough, but he was in the creature's grip and was unable to attack.
"Heads up Wally!" Echo called, before aiming her pistols at the creature's arm, firing rapidly in hopes to make it release its grip. The creature growled, turning its face to Echo. She hardened her face, giving it a cold look. She held her pistols steady, aimed right for the creature's chest. Keep calm, steady breathing, and your aim will always be true. She recalled those words from her father. He taught her everything she knew.
"Argh!" Echo shrieked as claws clamped around her shoulder, startling her. Her pistol fired, straight into the creature's dark, hooded face. Her eyes widened, and she tried to shoot again now that she already started, but her guns were empty.
"Dang it Apen!" She yelled at her parrot, for his untimely arrival.
"What, it's your own fault for being so easily freaked." The parrot chirped. "You need to get some thicker skin."
Echo growled, but was then distracted from her pet as she saw the reaper let go of Wallace and advance towards her. She swallowed, shoving her pistols back in her belt and pulling out her long iron dagger. "I suggest you get away Apen." She said quietly. The parrot didn't have to be asked twice before he fluttered away quickly.
Echo breathed deeply, glancing at both Ayame and Wallace. They'd all three have to attack this thing on all sides to be able to take it down.
“Heh, well hello to you too.” Wallace replied.
Ayame spotted the reaper coming down on them from the corner of her eye. She nimbly leaped out of the way just as Wallace lifted his shield to meet it's scythe.
“And you must be our reaper.” He pushed his shield back at the creature, shoving it back a small ways.
The supposed hero readied his and shield. “Wanna try taking on someone your own size? Picking on kids is pretty pathetic.”
Ayame felt a twinge of anger at the remark. “Am not a kid!”
For all she loathed being called small, she thought Wallace was going to prove to be a decent warrior. Actually, she took that back.
The boy was tackled into a wall not long into the battle, which Ayame had to hold in a snide remark about. She was ready to help him out, but Echo got to it before her, firing dual pistols at their assaulter, gaining the reaper’s attention as she aimed straight for its center.
Unfortunately she was thrown off target by Apen, missing the her intended mark. Ayame noted the bullet ripped through, creating a hole only to be filled again by more darkness. Echo switched over to a dagger as the elf switched to her rapier, leaping at the reaper from the back as it’s attention was mainly on Echo. She stabbed several times at the back. “It has really fast regeneration! We have to outdo it.”
Echo took the creature's attention with a few shots before Ayame called out about it's regeneration powers. Echo and Ayame began attacking. "Sounds like a full force assault is our best bet", Wallace said to himself, "this'll be fun." When he saw an opening, he charged forward, jumped, and jumped on the air once more to propel himself above the creature. He came down on it's back, burying his blade in it's shoulder. The creature screeched and Wallace lept off it's back, his sword still sticking out of it's back. "If I pin it down, you two think you can do some real damage?" He asked. If I call my sword to me with it's magic binding at the right time, I might be able to keep it in place for a little while... he thought to himself.
Wallace joined them, asking if he pinned down the creature, could Ayame and Echo deliver some real damage.
“You can count on it!” The elf called over to Wallace.
She looked over at Echo, waiting for her response.
(Wb, Sky. It's fine)
(Had some technical difficulties)
Kanesnya had been thinking. While the others were talking, she slowly slipped away before making a run for it. She hoped that they didn't hear her heavy breathing. Her foot stung with every rock she had pounded it on, but she kept going. Realizing that she shouldn't be seen, Kanesnya pulled some of her robe up to make a hood. The rumble had scared her. Whatever was going on, she had to find out for herself.
