Re-introducing the Flufflesworded Featherfight and its evolutions!
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST.
I am happy to re-introduce the Featherfight, as well as its evolutions. Since the first adoptables didn't take off, I've decided to create a new, better, updated thread which is more organised.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is Angelight, my personal member of the species. Don't steal her.
Species name: Flufflesworded Featherfight (Flufflesword or Featherfight for short)
Class: Tracker
Trainable: Yes
Stats (Out of 20):
Length (Including tail): 3ft
Wingspan: 3.5ft
Attack: 2
Speed: 15
Armour: 1
Firepower: 1
Shot Limit: None
Venom: 0
Jaw Strength: 4
Stealth: 10
Appearance:
A tiny, skinny little dragon, with a head shape similar to that of a Night Fury. These dragons are covered in a soft, downy coat of fur which keeps them warm. They have small manes on their heads and necks which are made of tufts of this fur and have a small puff on their tails. Their wings are beautifully feathered, which they take pride in.
Behaviour:
Despite their weak stats and battle abilities, these dragons are determined to learn. They will seek other, friendly species, as well as 'evolved' adult forms of their own. They usually befriend their 'teacher' for life afterwards.
Featherfights will team up with each other to stay safe from predators, but rely mostly on the kindness and protection of other species, such as Skyverns. In return, Featherfights will help around the territory, building nests and sending warnings.
Featherfights are very friendly towards each other and well-meaning humans.
Abilities:
If you look at one of these dragons, you will probably say something like this: "Aww! What a cutey wooty little dragon! How harmless! How sweet!" And that is the truth about these tiny, fluffy, dragons. They are extremely weak fighters, and are unable to fend anything off. They, however, are quite fast on their feet and small wings due to the fact they are so light, so they are often used as air mail dragons. They can also hide easily due to their diminutive size. However, these little dragons have very good senses of smell, sight and hearing, being Tracker Class.
Featherfights can only breathe bright, multicoloured sparks which can't even be felt. They use this as a warning to others of danger.
Breeding:
The parents will usually look after their young as well as they can in the very first weeks, however many get separated due to the fact this species is so weak. Featherfights are then 'adopted' by the other 'teacher' dragon, but they still have a strong bond.
Diet:
Featherfights usually eat fruits and plants that they find. However, they greatly enjoy meat, which they either scavenge or have it given to them. They will accept food from humans.
Flying and running:
These dragons are very fast on their feet, and can also fly for short amounts of time at high speeds thanks to their low weight.
Taming:
Trust is the key. You must be very gentle with these dragons, as they can be frightened of humans. Once tamed, they will happily follow you around and sit on a shoulder as a friend for life.
Evolution:
Featherfights are said to evolve into powerful warrior dragons. There is little information on this subject.
Rules and form will be in the next posts.
Working on filling out adoption form for a Heroic Featherfight :)
Edit:
Name: Arathorn (eagle king)
Gender: Male
Batch: Rare Herioic Featherfight
Personality: He is a huge regal dragon and doesn't like his feathers to be touched. They have to be stick straight and shiny and if they aren't he will stop mid flight just to fix his feathers. He is also is known as a ladies dragon strutting his stuff around and showing off his shiny well-groomed feathers. Arathon loves to take charge and isn't afraid of anything even on Halloween he loves to see vikings or dragons try to scare him and watch their shocked faces when he just laughs it off.
Backstory: W.I.P
ADOPTION RULES:
1. DO NOT REPLY directly to the PDNR posts. If you do this you will be BLACKLISTED from adoption, and possibly future adoptions.
2. Two dragons per person. This limit may change.
3. DO NOT CONTINUOUSLY BUMP YOUR POSTS. I will get round to them.
4. Don't complain if you don't get the one you want.
5. YOU MUST put them in your sig.
6. I WILL NOT DO RESERVATIONS.
WRITING RULES AND GUIDELINES:
- You must include a creative name, gender, detailed personality and a detailed backstory. There will be no magical taming or hatchling/egg stories.
- There are different ranks of difficulty (Common, rare, etc.). These are at different difficulties. For a common, I expect around 6 paragraphs, but I will let you off if it is a good story. I will expect a longer, better story for the higher difficulties.
- If your form is good, but not quite good enough, you will just need to improve it, not start again. If you do want to retry, you can do so as many times as you like.
- I will create Legendary Featherfights. These will be around for a limited amount of time and the difficulty is absolute maximum. They will already have names and beginnings of personalities and backstories, as well as special traits.
There will be a grading scale for these dragons. You will get marks for your form based on this:
Name: /3
Spelling and Grammar: /3
Personality: /10
Backstory: /15
Creativity: /10
30 points = Common
35 points = Uncommon
40 points = Rare
45 points = Very Rare
50 points = LEGENDARY
