New dragon!

Ooo new dragon! I like the Slithering Serphant and how you got it's inspiration. Really tied it in well with HTTYD lore

Always a pleasure to find an update on this thread!

I'm not sure if this thread

I'm not sure if this thread is still gaining much attraction so I'm not sure if there're going to be people who vote but let's say if i'm going back to my groove to make customizable base again which of these fan dragons do you want to see the most?

it's not all the dragons I have left but the one I'm willing to make which is why some of them are not on here.

Hello all! It's been a while!

Hello all! It's been a while! How have you been!

I have two new dragons I'm going to released immediately after but figure I wanna talk a little before that. They are not the one I've been queueing up unfortuanately and expectedly and I still have done nothing with the customization base poll. Lately I've been doing a lot of Hybrids instead. I discover that making them and making fan dragons are very similar but once the canon has establish the existance of hybrids I usaully look at the final product and see if they look more like original species or the hybrids, a lot of my recent dragon has fallen into the later. But you know what maybe I should stick to my original intend and if I meant for it to be original species but turn out to look a bit like a hybrids instead I can still make it an original species.  Because of this, the upcoming dragons for now might have a little certain feel to it. I don't want to say that my fan dragon design is iconic or anything but I do feel like compare to before, the newer one I have here may feel a little like 'modular dragon' of the bunch and less distinct, but that's okay I think. There should be dragons that look less distinct than the others.

Welp, that's all I wanna say! Thank you for your support so far! Hope I will be more productive with this in the future (and finally get the queue or the customization out) ^^

#39 Buckcleaver

Class: Sharp

Stats icon attack Attack: 15

 Speed: 10

Stats icon armor  Armor: 18

Stats icon fire Firepower: 14

Stats icon shot Shot Limit: 3

Stats icon venom Venom: 0

Stats icon jaw Jaw Strength: 8

Stats icon stealth Stealth: 3

Buckcleaver is a thickhead, both in the literal and metaphorical sense.

Although slow in the head, this actually work in the dragon and sometime their riders' favour as even the most intelligent dragon may have jump into fray swiftly while buckcleaver would take time to (ironically) assert the situation. Therefore, The dragons'd always seem calm and pensive and very approachable even in the wild. Rarely would there dragons ever lose their cool.

Personality: Kinda slow in the head, calm, pensive

Fire type: Plasma/Lightning ball

Hidden ability: Buckcleavers have no blindspot, even if the four eyes didn't help them, their ability to turn their head all the way similar to Stormcutter will.

Trivia: - This dragon is largely inspired by Toothless Concept art actually, of all thing

- I meant for this dragon to be rather well round even in its lowkey appearance, almost like a hidden gem

- The male would fight each other using their head like that one dinosaur

- Buckcleaver is around Thunderclaw-nadder size

Doominator is the rather new dangerous species in the block. It has gain the similar reputation as something like the Monsterous Nightmare.

As the name suggest, the Doominator is rather destructive and agreesive. A mere rumor of one being near might warrent an evacuation but some vikings, usually the one that share the dragons' nature would wish to seek them out to tame it. Tamed or not, Doominator are consider an army of one that can easily destroy the entire village alone.

Personality: War hungry

Fire type: Stream of fire with secondary explosion.

Hidden ability: Doominator's scale, which can also be produce in their mouth, once slid off their body would explored at the certain heat. This is how the Doominator creathed the secondary explosions; by also firing the tiny scales from the mouth along with the fire so then the scale would explore into tinier scales and again and again.

Trivia: - Doominator has the polar opposite varient sub species fittingly called Demeter; they breath lethal ice breath.

-Doominator is also monsterous nightmare size

If you're familiar with the stories of the siren then you know that look can be decieving for these beautiful serene dragons.

Though it is unclear if the dragons has the similar luring ability as Death song, they earn the name from their looks and their hauntingly beautiful singing voice, both quality that tend to be in effect more on humans as travellers would seek them intentionally or stop in their track when meet one in the wild, entrace by their beauty. Only to be surrounded by the pack predetor that they are, with the deadliness equal to the greatest of hunter like Deathgripper or Speed stinger and all the fast powerful and intelligent quality of the strike class dragon, now come in swarm overwhelming numbers. They dragons seem to be even aware of this and would intentionally acting cute or flashing their frill in all its glory. Despite this, the Sirengels can actually be trained but will almost never be truely loyal. A prove of incompetency or liability can easily make the dragons turn against you as their prey.

Personality: Disloyal dangerous hunter

Fire type: Sound based Plasma ring and Plasma blast

Hidden ability: While still dubious of its luring quality, Sirengel's sound actually is the form of their attack similarly to Thunderdrum and Screaming death, not only disorienting the prey but actually physically hurting them with the plasmatic pulse that actually travelling along with the sound forming into rings, before finally releasing a single addition powerful blast ball like that of the Night fury's

Trivia: - This dragon is HEAVILY inspired by a concept art dragon from Nine realms. (me: welp if you not gonna do anything with it dont mine if I do)

-Honestly there's no reason for me to put this dragon is strike instead of Mystery, it's just pure vibe and I like populating the strike class, it's my dragon so what I said goes and in my defense Songwing is also a Strike class dragon

-Sirengel is closely related to Will'o Whispers, closer than other dragons since technically Will'o Whispers are relating to every species

Ooo new dragon!

New dragon(s)! Haven't checked here in a while, what nice surprises ^^

Each one is a beauty, the Doominator, Buckleaver and the Sirengel as far as design goes, and the lore for the Sirengel is my favorite.

Hailooms are swift and fast fish hunters

They would swoop in and out just as quick, with the speed that rival those of strike class dragons, with the unique fire power-or water in this case, a quick high pressure that freeze upon contact with the air and essentially creating a spears. Thankfully the receiving end of these spears are only usually reserved for the fish or occasionally those that post threat to the Hailoom for them to defend themselves

Personality: fairy mild-temper and intelligent

Fire type: freezing high pressure water shaped into ice spear

Hidden ability: -

Trivia: Hailoom is the dragon I have go over and back if it should be the original species or the Chimeragon Hybrids of Nadder-timberjack and Night fury. In the end I figure t has a lot of interesting and unique aspect in the body enough that it should be the original species.

Agreeing with Ladybrasa! This one is jumping pretty quick to the top ten of my favorites of yours. Blue Herons (which I assume is what you used for color inspiration?) are the most common heron in my area, and I really like them. Random fact: they are adaptive predators and will hunt gophers the same way they hunt fish. It's really wild to see them out in the fields spearing rodents

Fittingly nicknamed Woodmaker, these gentle giant may have been responsible in creating, keeping and restoring forest health, slowly walking the wood and spreading seeds that would grew into the trees later.

They are essentially a Typhoomerang sized Bees. These Herbivore Giant would feed of greens but won't destroying the seeds, instead they'll be store in the dragons' special compartment with right amount of temporature and humidity, where they'd spew the still living seed, form into the ball that would exploded and spread the spore around the forest. The Woodwalker would be spew the explosive seed out both idly and when they try to scare or ward off threats as well. Despite their size and the benevolent personality, these dragons are not being look up to as the Alpha by other dragons.

Personality: Docile, Benevolent but not the smartest or greatest leader

Fire type: Seed bomb

Hidden ability: It may hard to believe that such ability can lead to destruction as well. The Woodwalkers that feed on alien plants or corruptive dangerous spore or dragon vine may single handedly spreading sickness to destroy it all. This is such fate of one certain region. The Woodwalker responsible for this, while alive, was succumb to the cruel fate of a censored losing the mind and control of it body. Aimlessly spreading sickness eveywhere.

Trivia: the recent resurface of fan dragons are all new. Woodwalker is not one of them. This guy has been in the queue forever, probably predating Goldhem and such. It feels good to finally get it out

-Ability is inspired by Bloader The last of us

-the hidden ability is refering to one of my lore.

Similary to The Slithering Serphant, Magon can only be found in the same part of the world. They're equally respected by the local and are favoured as the trained mounts

Build like a mix of Bear, Badger and Sea Iguana, Magons don't need to rely on any unique ability other than the well-round stats and their pure brute and fearless determination to be the excellent dragon ki,ller. In fact, they're the natural predetor of the Slithering Serphant despite the prey having the deadly venom. Their encounter tend to be similar to that of the mangoose and cobra; Magon activiely hunt and eat Serphant. Serphant doesn't prey upon Magon but can fight and ki,lled them. This might pose a problem to the local who both revere the Serphant but mounting the Magon so they'd either trained the Magon to suppressed their urge or they just keep their Magon far apart from their Slithering helpers. If push come to shove and the fight is inevitable however, the local'd tend to "Respect the nature and let it plays out"

Personality: Trainable great and loyal hunter

Fire type: Fireball

Hidden ability: Like Slitherwing, Magon's wing can be fold into the crack between the fat and give the illusion of the wingless dragon. Magon preder to keep it that way unless their trainer want them to take flight. The dragons can also come in various sizes.

Trivia: Finally! Magon is out of the limbo!

Magon was inspired by the South east asian mythological creature of the same name, Magon or literally translated to Dragon. They feed on Naga which was the inspiration for the slitering serphant. the depiction of the creature is varied but I come to the conclusion that they'd look like a mix of Dog and Fish.

-Magon shaped was inspired a little by the pokemon Typlosion. They like to be bipedal a lot.

-Magon, Slithering Serphant, Howlian, Wicked Trickster are now the four dragons of these

region, if including canon dragon I guess there'd be Scauldron and Razorwhip too.

-Magon is related to all Slithering Serphant, Scauldron and Night terror.

-Magon "no ability just pure fierce" is inspired by the like of Honey Badger and Mangoose

Oh my! You are welcome over there! I'm mainly on the HTTYD wiki when I have time, and Fanon mainly to display stories and " adoptables" (which, as you know, I am very very behind on). I can't say that it's very socially active over there, but it's a free public space you can showcase HTTYD stuff. If you decide to create a Fandom/Wiki account, let me know and I can link to you there also for the dragons I've adopted from you (in addition to linking to you here). If you send me a message from the Fanon Wiki, I'll see it at the HTTYD wiki, if you need any help!

Dragon

No new dragons yet, only adjusting the directiory post to be easier on the eye. However I have a teaser in the form of pixel arts! The pixel arts'd include the already released dragons, the unreleased titan/Alternate form as well as the unreleased dragon that has the name teased in the directory

Can you guess which one is which? Please do looking forward to their release!

Hm that's weird. I test check click on the link and it still links me to the intended image just now. Might be that thing where they occasionally advertising their new beta page which happens sometime and prevent me from entering my own gallery. I'm sorry that i have no solution for this yet. Perhaps would removing the .jpg in the link help? Like using this link?

(same link with.jpg but reposting take 2)

I don't know. I see it now but it's super tiny and I can't seem to view it full size. I must be doing something wrong. Guess I'll just have to wait until you release the new ones!
