Blackjack said that their reward would be fame and fear. Lyra snorted.

"As tempting as that sounds; I have no need for fame." Lyra spoke softer. But she could not continue her sentence due to the fact that some exacutioner picked this exact time to show up. The Man bore a cloak and led a girl in chains. Lyra rolled her eyes.

"Is everyone trying to be edgy?" She complained.

((Sorry about the shortness. Idk what to write.))

Havran whistled the moment Blackjack stated that they’d be nicely rewarded should they succeed. He wasn’t quite in dire need of money but the thought of receiving them was always pleasant. After all, he learnt how to use a bow in order to help his siblings gain money. He recalled how happy he was when he received his first bounty, how great it felt not to burden his siblings with his needs anymore.
As Blackjack lightly mocked the knights, Havran sensed two figures approaching them. Eventually, everyone noticed a clinking sound that the redhead reckoned belonged to the figures. His brow raised in curiosity when they, who turned out be the executioner and an inmate, stepped into view.
‘She must be that assassin the guards love to chatter about,’ Havran thought to himself, ‘Speaking of inmates, I wonder if I can convince Mr. Bleak-sley to let me see Saber before this mission starts. It might be our last time seeing each other, after all. Hmm… Perhaps after this meeting is adjourned.’
“Is everyone trying to be edgy?” Havran turned to the owner of the voice. He recognized the irritated young woman as the one who attempted to surprise Blakesley as well the one who scolded the Z guy.
“Y’know lass, it’s ironic how you keep deeming people as the edgy type when you yourself did and are being edgy,” Havran said teasingly as he slumped against the railings of the bridge, his elbows rested on top of them, “You tried to surprise Mr. Bleak-sley here and you’re the only one who’s clearly showing their exasperation right now. Maybe you should consider getting yourself a mirror or somethin’.”

Lyra turned to the voice a grinned at him, although the grin was more of a smirk.

She tapped the knight comcommander to ask a question, a susurprised reaction was just an adadded bonus. At least she was not slinkslinking in shadows and tying people up with chains.

"I couldn't afford a mirror. How about you give me one?" Lyra asked Havran. Mirriors were very expensive.

"To your feet, Executioner." Blakesley abjured. "And you may, as long as she knows her place. With you here she would be smart to figure that out now rather than later."

Xayah noted how even Sir Blakesley himself didn't address the executioner by his real name, at least not in public, clearly he wasn't a man to be trifled with. Yet, even he dropped down before Sir Blakesley indicating the head knight's superiority. Her eyes widened as she heard the executioner address the strange visitor as 'Blackjack', surely an assassin from the league wouldn't be in the royal castle consorting with the knights. The white haired assassin had only heard of Blackjack up until now; her previous master was associated with the league, though he wasn't working for them directly. Xayah assumed it was Blackjack who requested for her freedom, despite only serving the league by proxy, her feats must've caught their attention.

"It certainly has been. How are you? As you can see, I'm still devilishly handsome and talented as always. And it seems you're doing well, frightening as ever, are we?" Blackjack commented patronizingly.

"I'm doing well, thanks to regular shedding of assassin blood. I'd certainly agree with devilish. Hmph, I've longed to meet you in battle, but I respect that in this dire situation that now is not the time" He said nonchalant closing his eyes. "...However, promise me one thing. Promise me that you wont d.ie during your mission...For I must be the one to kill you!" He warned as he swung his eyes open and shot a serious glare at Blackjack. With a sigh the hooded man nodded, "...I suppose I'll free her now. I have work to get to" he removed one hand from behind his cloak revealing a large and menacing axe. He shook his arm causing the second half of the axe to become visible and with a seemingly effortless throw, he sent the axe flying around the courtyard. It looped around like a boomerang, upon it's return it cut cleanly through the steel chains which restrained the captive assassin. The axe embedded itself into the soil only to be removed by the executioner, "There" He said calmly. "Sir Blakesley, I'll have her weapons delivered to the castle gates when you departure. Now, if I may be dismissed."

Rynn | Fencer

Rynn had spent the past few minutes trying to wrap her mind around the events that had just occurred and what this would mean for herself and the others, both knight and assassins. Luckily, she was considered to be pretty quick at adjusting to fit the situation, and it honestly didn't take long for Rynn to accept what was happening and move on. That didn't mean she was calm though. Her sword she had sheathed only halfway, more out of courtesy than anything. The threats currently being thrown around like gifts on a holiday season would not be forgotten any time soon.

Around this time, most everyone was either discussing something with Blackjack or Sir Blakesley or trading remarks with someone else. Rynn was of no real importance at the moment, so she let her mind wander, though not without putting the rest of her senses on high alert first. Her first thought was that she hardly knew any of the assassins' names, and that perhaps she could strike up a conversation with one. It would help to be better acquainted with the people she would be working - and fighting - alongside with for some time. But the assassins all seemed to be heavily skeptical of the knights, and for all her good nature, Rynn still found the fact offputting. Not to mention that most of them were engaged in at least semi-heated conversations. Except for the newest arrival. Rynn could not deny having felt a small pang of sympathy for the girl who had been in irons just minutes ago. They had left red marks on her wrists. She briefly wondered what the assassin had been caught doing that had landed her in such an unpleasant place. The executioner was not someone Rynn would want to spend any amount of time with. And who knew how long the assassin had been stuck in prison? On second thought, had any of the other assassins ever been caught as well?

At some point, Rynn drifted on to the subject of home, causing an unfamiliar twist in her gut. She found that a part of herself was wishing that she hadn't been admitted to be in this group, because it meant that her life was now in considerably more danger than before. She would be hunting down an untrackable assassin who had murdered dozens of people with the help of other assassins and some knights she wasn't as familiar with as Rynn would like. This mysterious killer could very well kill all of them when he or she was found. The killer had gotten past supposedly unbeatable guards to find the prince, after all.

Come to think of it, how would they be finding the killer in the first place?

Rynn steeled her nerves and raised her hand halfway, uncertainty fluttering inside of her.

"Er, excuse me..? How are we going to be finding this killer?"

“Then you can gaze at your reflection here. Same thing,” Havran replied, nudging his head to the pond below him, his eyes trailing to watch the executioner freed the silver-haired inmate.

Z: Artificer, Assassin. Miriela: Warlord, Knight

Miriela saw a Rynn raise her hand halfway and speak "Er, excuse me..? How are we going to be finding this killer?"

The question was rather difficult, the killer had committed a string of murders all around the kingdom, but what was his motive? The murder of commoners, rich men, nobles, that was one thing. The royal family has a guard for the sole reason that they faced a more serious threat than anyone. While a murder of her brother seemed unthinkable it wasn't impossible. She had let out her tears in front of Z now was the time to focus. Use her mind and figure out a way to track the untraceable.

Miriela's mind darted to when she would sneak out of the palace. The guards weren't invincible, the tripwires that made the palace warning system had not triggered. Even she was able to bypass the traps that Z so often employed so long as she knew where they were. She needed more information on the killer and she knew just how to get it. She needed to go fishing.

She couldn't ask Wallace, despite his ability to shield her she still needed to look vulnerable. Kostis would need to protect the castle while she was away, Zed was a liability with his penchant for destruction. Ishmael would be better suited to a more offensive role. That left only one person, Rynn. She knew Ishmael would come after her should she run off. She didn't know the abilities of the assassins but would trust the matter to Z. He knew what fishing meant.

Upon hearing Rynn ask how they would find the killer Z was in analytic mode attempting to reason what he could. The knight's defense was by no means flawless, he had after all smuggled a cannon into Miriela's chambers. An assassination of the royal family was a possibility. One only needed to get past the guards, but the murder of one of the 12 most lethal assassins? that was something else. It was a statement, "I can get you wherever you are". the possible motives were a show of strength, revenge assassination, or personal feud. Of course other less rational options of simply wanting to kill and hoping for a sensationalized story were still available. As Z attempted to find a solution Miriela spoke up.

"Rynn, I would like you to accompany me. I'm going fishing and I would rather it just be us girls"

((Miriela has only been fishing once and is neither good at it nor likes it much))

Z knew what was going to happen but only shook his head. He had gotten the message, she was acting on her own again and he would have to run damage control. No, Z glanced around and saw the Seeker and Ranger. He had someone better to run that type of damage control. He had another job to do.

"Princess I believe it would be wise of you to get your equipment before fishing. I suggest we get said equipment in private and we read up a bit more on fishing. Your last attempt went horribly wrong" Z said.

It would be impossible to explain Miriela's plan to everyone and get them to follow along in broad daylight. Assassin's worked in the shadows, mostly, and exposing all the assassins in the courtyard would do little to help anyone.

"I also request a meeting with Sir Blakesley regarding Palace security as per my contract" Z asked Miriela. While Z could not tell them directly he hoped Miriela would see some reason as to why she should discuss this plan with at least the head knight.

((Miriela's idea is to use herself as bait, being protected only by a single knight while Z does overwatch, Wallace and Kostis would guard the palace and the other royalty to prevent aother break in. Of course Z's idea is to use Ishmael, Havran, and Syle to do overwatch for him while he sets traps.))

Lyra The Assassin

"Then you can gaze at your reflection here. Same thing,” her conversational companion offered.

"I believe the word you are looking for is hypocrisy."

Lyra did not like metaphores, especially since his apparent roast was over used. She didn't want to come back with the 'i know what you are but what am I?' retort, namely bcause she didn't have patience nor time to compete in childish games. Lyra turned her head and gave the knight the look her mother claims only Lyra could muster.  It was a look influenced by "the fires of her heart"- cheesy right? It was something Like came up with. It was the look of a lion about to kill his juciy prey, a look that burned in her stormy grey eyes like smoke; a look that caused the hairs of your neck to stand on end. It was a hungry, triumphant, unsettling look. As if you ran straight into a trap and didn't even realize.

((Ya know your gone when you write an entire paragraph on the terrifying look a character gives. XD))

after holding his gaze with her signature look, Lyra fturned away.

'How was that for edgy?' she thought smugly, lifting her delicate, porcelain chin.

Wallace and Ishmael, Knights

((Isn't Havran an assassin?))

Wallace grew nervous as he listening to various conversation and banter, he found himself drawn toward the most civil and probably the most relatable one in the current situation; Rynn. He retreated from the confrontation by side stepping closer to her on the sideline as if to ask for her help.

It's on her own accord but she did intervined, asking the important question no one else seem to ask which sucessfully left Ishamael speechless and threw princess back into her train of thought before she could respond to the young seeker. then

"Rynn, I would like you to accompany me. I'm going fishing and I would rather it just be us girls"

Ishmael almost let out an audiable "Huh?" (he could count on Wallace being the one who do that, which he did) but he did raise his eyebrows, one minute she talked about finding the murderer of her brother, so much she goes as far as hiring a personal assassin and now she talk about going fishing. Ishmael's no idioit. Even though he knew the princess' capabability of sudden shift of mood wheter to lighten up the mood or made herself look less emotionally vulnelable, but given the context of the situation it's highly unlikely that it's her intention, fishing for information maybe, but knowing Miriela, his gut feeling telling him that it could be something worse.

if there's anything count as a confirmation, it's Z respond, An obvious attempt to cover up for her. Ishmael couldn't help but felt a slight irritation rose at how the assassin act as though nothing had happened and he's still her personal knight.

He could say something now, make it known that he thought this is a rash and reckless idea or perhaps offer to come with them but he couldn't do it after she stated that she wish to be with a girl, and doing so would be offensive to Rynn's ability to protect the princess, so he only turned to give Sir Blakesley a pleading look, hoping he would in the better position to tell off Miriela, perhaps for taking away their fencer in the middle of the meeting.

If failed, should he follow the females from afar witout making his pressence known. It goes against Ishmael's moral, stalking women like that without their consent but if it's for the sake of their safty and well-being....perhaps.....

Havran Frieden - Scout

((Yep, he’s an assassin, not a knight.))
"I believe the word you are looking for is hypocrisy,” the black-haired woman said before contorting her face. Havran had to admit that the look she was giving was indeed frightening, though it didn’t quite compete with the angry looks his former boss used to throw whenever the redhead offended him. He even looked menacing with his normal face. Havran recalled referring him as a devil amongst his fellow mercenaries.
Havran chuckled in amusement. “Not bad, I’ll give you that. And if you got problems with metaphors, better get used to it, Ms. Edgy-poo. I tend to use them a lot.”
Havran diverted his attention to the princess who, out of the blue, asked the only female knight to accompany her fishing. He cocked his brow at her utterly odd request. Clearly, the royal had something else in mind. After all, who in their right mind would leisurely fish at such time?
'She's one weird lass, alright,' Havran thought.

Rynn | Fencer

Rynn tilted her head, her brows furrowing, upon hearing the princess's request. Fishing? At a time like this? Preposterous. Something else must be at work. She cast a quick glance around the circle and discovered that no one else knew what Miriela meant either. Z began speaking to Miriela, attempting to cover for her, and Rynn seized the chance to think. If they were to be going off alone, then Miriela would need to be well protected. The princess was smart enough to know that. But then why hadn't she chosen to take Wallace? Did the princess simply not trust him? Or perhaps this plan required something that Rynn had that Wallace didn't? What that would be, Rynn had no idea. Well, in any case, she very well hoped that Miriela would decide to discuss this plan with everyone else later. Rynn could do some persuading as well, if it came to that. Miriela was sure to tell her what she was thinking as they went. Rynn finally answered.

"Of course I'll accompany you on this... fishing trip, your Highness. That is, if Sir Blakesley-"

Rynn really shouldn't just pass over the other most powerful person here, should she?

"- and Blackjack give their permission. I assume this will be after the meeting ends?" She flashed a questioning yet somewhat cheerful smile. She really didn't want to miss the rest of the meeting.

While she waited for the princess to respond, Rynn discreetly glanced at Ishmael and widened her eyes for a second. Depending on what this perplexing plan was, the princess and herself could be better suited with hidden backup, especially since Miriela was royalty. If Miriela was insistent on leaving immediately, Ishmael would be the best person- er, knight who could track them from afar. Rynn only hoped that he got the message.

[Kostis Wither||Champion]

"I suppose it's a deal," Blackjack chuckled darkly in response to the Executioner's ultimatum as he watched the hooded man pulled out a large axe, throwing it skillfully around the area just to see the weapon return and neatly cut the prisoner's chains. "Seeing as I have no plans on dying in front of the present company I'll have to work with. How embarrassing that would be. If I were to d.ie so soon it would be much more interesting at someone such as yourself's hands, though that doesn't mean I intend to make it easy for you regardless." Blackjack's eyes shown with menacing amusement.
The Executioner then turned to the head knight and explained that he would have the now freed assassin's belongings delivered to the gates once he was dismissed.
"Indeed," Blakesley said, discharging the man as per request. "Thank you for your service, Executioner."
"Er, excuse me..? How are we going to be finding this killer?" Rynn interjected with the question, her hand raised partially up. Kostis himself had been wondering that.
"I'm wondering as well," Kostis agreed. "We're talking about a killer who not one person in the entire kingdom has been able to figure out their general wheareabouts."
Suddenly the princess spoke up, offering an odd request directed towards Rynn.
"Rynn, I would like you to accompany me. I'm going fishing and I would rather it just be us girls."
What a peculiar request. Kostis puzzled over it, searching for a hidden meaning behind the words. What could she be planning right now?
"Princess," Z spoke up in response. "I believe it would be wise of you to get your equipment before fishing. I suggest we get said equipment in private and we read up a bit more on fishing. Your last attempt went horribly wrong. I also request a meeting with Sir Blakesley regarding Palace security as per my contract."
"Of course I'll accompany you on this... fishing trip, your Highness. That is, if Sir Blakesley-" Rynn began answering. "- and Blackjack give their permission. I assume this will be after the meeting ends?"
Though he didn't show it, Blakesley must have been just as confused as everyone else about the princess's request.
"I... suppose if the princess behests it, it may be allowed after this gathering has convened." Though Blakesley didn't look too thrilled at the prospect, he wasn't about to deny the princess's commands during her grieving period. "Though I and others would surely feel better if your Highness takes more than one knight with her in such circumstances."

Kostis eyed Blackjack after Blakesley's confirmation. The dark-clothed man shrugged his shoulders, not saying a word to show he was against it. But there was something in the man's sly face that made Kostis feel as if the other man were connecting the dots on the situation more than most of the others in the group.

Kostis didn't really know what to say about the confusing matter, instead just waited for Miriela to respond to Rynn's question.

[Syle||Ranger]

Fishing, Syle thought silently as he listened to the group. Fishing. The princess wants to go on a bloody relaxing fishing trip right now.
"The royals really are all mad," The young assassin muttered under his breath. Though he could tell there was another motive behind the request, Syle felt rather irritated that he couldn't figure out what it was. It was for reasons such as these that Syle was never keen to work with other people on his jobs.

Especially knights and royals, it appears. Syle notioned to himself.

Z: Artificer, Assassin. Miriela: Warlord, Knight

"Very well I will leave after the meeting is concluded" Miriela sighed, she hadn't been in the most rational of states recently so of course she was being thwarted by Z. But it made sense to at least tell Sir Blakesley of her plan. Should the other knights react in the way she thought they would then everything at this stage would come together.

Z breathed a slight sight of relief, he knew she wanted information and she wanted it now. Miriela had gotten over the Denial stage of grief quite quickly but after denial came anger and an angry princess was something he did not want to deal with.

"I would like to talk to Sir Blakesley and the princess privately about castle security ofter this meeting. It is something best discussed without other assassins nearby" Z said "Now I suggest we get on with the meeting as soon as possible"

((I can't help it. I ship Blackjack already with a side character. *Face palm*))

"I would like to go fishing, it just be us girls." The princess demanded.

"I would love to accompany you in your fishing trip, that is uh, if Sir Baskley and Blackjack approve." The girl answered quietly.

Lyra frowned. Fishing? Fishing was a rather odd chocie in activity, especially regarding the girls previous question. Fshing for information.

"I would like to coalsce your fishing trip." Lyra spoke up, directing it at the Princess.

She too wanted information, although she doubted that Sir Baskley would let an assasian be in the company of a royal. Lyra pretended not to be confused, not nervous. Employing a solum, serious, cold expression, although she couldn't help but feel her hands growing hot. Lyra pushed back the nervousness, locked it in a mental box and shoved it away.

She could only hope that some of the higher powers would catch on and insist that she accompany. Lyra lifted herself up from her position against the tree. She pushed her hood down so it hung loosely at her silver shoulder pad. Her raven hair fell with it, curling sideways in the breeze. Lyra did not remove her mask. It directed all attention to her stormy grey eyes. And she never, removed her gloves. Ever. Lyra took a daring step forward, her hands hanging casually by her sides. She did not need to be preceived as a threat, not yet. She held no motive to kill the princess, the move would be completely illogical.

Ryn signaling caught Ishmael off-guard. He rose an eyebrow in confusion at first then frown. Eventually he get the message and feel like a fool, so much a tint of pink crep slightly on his face, but he quickly fell back to the calm face and nudge his spectacles in return. Well that settle it, If Miss Omasin's alright then he would feel much better about following them.

Sir Blakesley, although didn't denied the Princess' wish, suggest that she should bring more guard to acompany her, that's good. There may not be more female guard at the meeting but they could recruite some. Out of no where the female assasin, the one that tab Sir Blakesley shoulder and start all the chaos volunteer, and Ishmael never repond to anything quicker.

"Absolutely not" He said, dea, dpaned, not waiting for the head knight to approve this himself.

“Indeed,” Blakesley said, discharging the man as per request. “Thank you for your service, Executioner”.

“‘Tis my pleasure, Sir Blakesley,” The  blon hidebowed and with a flourish of his cloak he left the scene, “Farewell, until we meet again...Blackjack.”

Xayah continued to remain silent during the executioner’s interaction between the two leaders. If even Blackjack, one of the best assassin currently in existence, acknowledged the Executioner’s abilities then she was lucky to have been saved from him. During her short journey over to the courtyard she began planning her escape from her execution, however thanks to this bizarre interaction it was made clear that her escape would not have been as easy as she first assumed. The white haired assassin raised her arms and looked at her now cut chains, she was impressed at how cleanly the steel had been cut, there were no rough edges on the ends of the cut metal. She then diverted her attention the two leaders as well as quickly scanning over the rest of the people at the ‘meeting’. Never would she have thought that the knights would be so close to who she assumed were assassins, deduced from Blackjack’s presence. There was quite a bit of chatter shortly after, the princess Mirelia requested that she be accompanied during her ‘fishing’ trip. Xayah didn’t speak as she didn’t intend to get involved in the matter, but she couldn’t help but laugh internally at the stupidity of the idea, do they really think they’ll survive an attack from this mysterious assassin if they’re suddenly attacked?

Suddenly, the red-headed bartender spoke up, “I would like to talk to Sir Blakesley and the princess privately about castle security after this meeting. It is something best discussed without the without the assassins nearby."

“Hmph! Saying that so casually, that's like asking for someone to eavesdrop” Xayah smirked, folding her arms and shutting her eyes. “However, I have no interest in such matters currently. Though, I can't say I’m too pleased with the level of disrespect being shown to our superiors,” Xayah remarked, eyeing a majority of the crowd ; during her few years with her previous master Xayah had come to learn respect towards her superiors and detests anyone who disregards their superiority. “I recommend that we remain silent while we wait for Sir Blakesley and Blackjack-Sama to conclude this meeting,” the white haired assassin suggested.

Lyra The Assassin

"Absolutely not." One of the knights answered quickly.

Lyra frowned beneath her mask, but the frown didn't reach her eyes. She smoothed out her face and turned to observe her denier.

"Why do you deny so quickly? Is it that you hold prejudice against your allies? Without excercing sufficient trust, how can we be sure to be reliant upon you to take up arms and aid us during warfare?"

Lyra did not usually disguise her smack talk in fancy language, but she felt obligated to do to. She just completely called out the knight for lacking loyalty to the cause. It was something to ponder. Both leagues despised each other; on the hunt for the assasian their trust will be tried and tested. If they could not relly upon one another, like all previous attempts, they are sure to fail.

With that in mind, Lyra turned and looked, not at Sir Baskley, but at the princess. She held a knowing gleam in her eye, besides, it wasn't really his call. Lyra placed her hands on her hips, waiting for the torrent of repsonses to rage onto her? She could take it. One of the few useful things her ditching father taught her was how to take the blame. How to play the role of the scape goat until the time was right. Whatever the knight were about to throw at her, Lyra knew exactly how to dismiss it. Still, she was always touchy at the whole magic situation. It just was not fair. Why did she have to live in secrecy? She didn't want to be edgy, as her fellow assasian so kindly pointed out. Sometimes it felt as if the tides of the universe were against her.

Lyra snapped herself out of her self-loathing. She lifted her chin and stood tall.

"Don't get the wrong idea, our suppose allience's only form to ensure the end of this reign of terror as a mutual benefit and out of nescessity, there's nothing more to this than a temporaly truce, so don't expect us to pretend like nothing had happened and trust you on everything just because we have to work together on this one cause" Ishmael said, coldly, narrowing his gaze toward the girl once he fixed his eyewears "I simply don't see how letting you assassin acompany the princess would have anything to do with this arrangement"

actually it's very likely to have something to do with it, but as far as the other know, it's still a fishing trip and he's not about to let someone who make a living out of murder to be near Meriela.

[Kostis Wither||Champion]

Princess Miriela sighed, relenting to go on her trip only after the meeting had concluded. Kostis for one felt relieved, and he was sure that the other knights were as well. Z then asked to meet privately with Sir Blakesley and the princess, without the other assassins nearby.
Kostis raised an eyebrow at that, but he supposed that he shouldn't find it to be unusual for the assassins to not trust each other despite being in the same league with one another. They seemed to boast about being able to move more freely than the knights yet at the same time they couldn't even necessarily trust one another as the knights could; something Kostis couldn't envy about them.

The assassin by the tree suddenly spoke, asking to be included on the Princess's fishing trip.
"Absolutely not." Ishmael responded instantly. The two began to argue back and forth, both bringing up good points.
"Play nice, now, you all." Blackjack chided.
Meanwhile, the formally chained up assassin smirked at Z's request of Sir Blakesley.
“Hmph! Saying that so casually, that's like asking for someone to eavesdrop. However, I have no interest in such matters currently. Though, I can't say I’m too pleased with the level of disrespect being shown to our superiors. I recommend that we remain silent while we wait for Sir Blakesley and Blackjack-Sama to conclude this meeting,”
"I can't believe I'm agreeing," Kostis muttered. He was quite surprised to see such an opinion coming from the former prisoner but couldn't deny the sense in the white-haired woman's words. "But I concur. We should let Sir Blakesley, and Blackjack, finish what they were telling us before we start planning things on our own."
"Well said," Blakesley said, clearing his throat.
"Nice to see there's someone who respects authority around here," Blackjack grinned foxlike towards the former prisoner before becoming more serious. "As for how you're all going to find the killer, I'd suggest going to the latest victim and seeing if there are any clues, whether to who could have done it or if they left any sort of trail that can be tracked. However, that won't be easy as the last known kill was the prince several days ago, which is neither fresh nor would we be able to deduct much now that the body is buried. It would seem we'd have to wait for another victim, but alas, it killer seems to have stopped the spree ever since the young prince and Capricorn fell victim. Perhaps they've lost interest, or maybe assassinating such high targets left them knowing to stay on the down low for now. Either way, this isn't going to be an simple task."

"Not to mention that the surrounding kingdoms have been reporting similar killings." Blakesley cut in. "For all we know the killer could be long gone by now and somewhere else."
"Of course that could be," Blackjack said, flicking his dark bangs from out of his eyes. "Or perhaps they're just laying in wait for another specific target."
Kostis felt cold at the prospect.
"I suppose her Highness," Blakesley nodded his head towards the princess. "With whoever she wished to bring with her on her, er, fishing trip will comply. Though," Blakesley turned to glare over all the gathered assassins. "I won't be expecting any assassins to be going on it."
"How rude," Blackjack feigned offense. "We're supposed to be working together but you won't even let us come to bond over fishing together. I'm rather good at it, myself."
"Cut the sarcasm, Blackjack." Blakesley growled. "Arriving back to the subject, I suppose I will talk with the princess and Z here about what he wishes to speak about. Kostis will be dismissed for another task, and anyone else will be allowed to leave to retrieve anything they feel they might need for the mission or anything similar within reason."

"Sir?" Kostis asked when he heard he'd be doing something different from the rest. "What is it I will be doing?"
"You, Kostis, I will be expecting to ride out to the outskirts and retrieve the Reaver and return with him." Was the head knight's answer.
"Sir?" Kostis asked once more, unable to keep the confusion from his tone. He wasn't sure he had heard the man correctly. "With all due respect, the boy hasn't even been knighted. Surely it wouldn't be of our interests to have him working with us?"
"It's already been thought it over, Kostis. The young man's abilities might very well be needed on such a job as this. I'll be expecting you to collect him and return with him for the mission ahead. Understood?"
"Of course, sir." Kostis tilted his head downward slightly in compliance, though he didn't feel so certain of the order himself.

"Shouldn't someone accompany dear Kostis here to collect this fellow you're talking about?" Blackjack asked. "I think it would be much smarter for people to split into groups right now when we don't know who the killer might be targeting next."
"I'm guessing you mean an assassin go with him, then, Blackjack?" Blakesley assumed. "Because I'm certain you know we're not going to spare more knights than necessary at such a time."
"Actually that's exactly what I meant." Blackjack clapped his hands when Blakesley guessed his point.
"I'd really rather no one does," Kostis responded with a cold tone.
"Just a suggestion," Blackjack retorted with a scoff before turning to the group. "Seeing as we'll have to wait to actually find a lead, I suppose we have the main stuff out of the way already. Any final questions before we end this?"

Havran Frieden - Scout

Havran drummed his fingers on the railings he was leaning against lightly, listening to the exchanges between his future comrades. Normally, he would sound his opinion and thoughts but this time, his mind was full of something else.
‘Let’s see. No matter how convincing I can be, I really don’t think Bleak-sley will allow me to see big bro, what with his distrust towards assassins and all. Perhaps I can use this opportunity of working together with the knights to gain their trust somehow. If they see me trustworthy, then that’ll be my ticket to visit him in peace. Although, there’s no guarantee I’ll be alive while this mission progress.’
As the gears in his head turned, he heard the blue-haired knight, Kostis, tasked to retrieve a supposed knight from the outskirts of the kingdom. His ears perked up when Blackjack suggested an assassin accompanying the knight. Of course, as expected, the knight refused immediately. Seeing the opportunity regardless, Havran pushed himself off the railings and stepped over.
‘The long road it is.’
“Well, you did say you’d rather go alone but perhaps I can accompany you? I’m rather good when it comes to gathering information and the likes which undoubtedly will be a great help,” Havran proposed.

The red headed assassin pushed away from the bridge and stepped towards Kostis, bringing forward a proposition.
“Well, you did say you’d rather go alone but perhaps I can accompany you? I’m rather good when it comes to gathering information and the likes which undoubtedly will be a great help,”
Kostis opened his mouth to argue against the idea but Blackjack cut in.
"Sounds like a marvelous idea," The dark haired man interposed, not giving Kostis a chance to object. Kostis turned to glare at the man before looking to Blakesley for his superior's aid in getting the blue-haired knight out of this.
"I don't know why you're so keen on this idea, Blackjack," Blakesley stated, eyeing the man over. "But I suppose there is no harm, Kostis can hold his own and it'll keep at least one of yours in check for the meanwhile."
"I could say the same thing for Havran, here," Blackjack smirked. The two men glared daggers at one another as Kostis's own eyes widened at Blakesley's agreement to these terms. Kostis had to force himself not to sigh in exasperation.
"I suppose it's settled then," Kostis responded without much enthusiasm.
"I suppose it is," Blackjack agreed, turning to Kostis and the assassin. "Having both a knight and an assassin out on the streets will prove useful for us both, or rather the group as a whole now that we're allies, per se."
Kostis didn't feel convinced but he turned to the red-haired assassin anyway.
"I presume you've ridden? Taking horses would be the swiftest choice."

Havran felt a grin rose to his face the moment Blackjack supported his proposal, even moreso when Blakesley agreed. Kostis was unsurprisingly frustrated in his own way but the assassin paid no mind to it.
"I presume you've ridden? Taking horses would be the swiftest choice.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I have my own horse. You knights won’t mind if I borrow one, will you? Oh, and by the way, since neither of us took the chance to properly introduce ourselves,” Havran extended his hand to the blue-haired knight, flashing his iconic smile, “The name’s Havran Frieden and if you can’t tell, I’m a Scout.”

"The name’s Havran Frieden and if you can’t tell, I’m a Scout.”

"That's to be expected, we'll let you have your pick from the stables before we depart," Kostis responded, hesitating for but a moment before accepting Havran's outheld hand and giving it a firm shake, though he didn't return the smile. Lyra The Assassin

"Play nice now." Blackjack warned.

Lyra flashed him a sly grin.

"No promises." She purred unsheathing her dagger to exaime the point.

After some discussion about athority (something to which Lyra held no regard), Sir Blakesley offered to have the groups Snoop around in the last kill-site. This had Lyra looking up.

"Any questions?" Sir Blskesey asked.

Lyra had one but decided to keep it to herself. Everyone was probably wondering the same thing anyway.

'What happens if we fail?', instead the raven-haired assasian went back to screwtunizing her dagger. She enjoyed sharp things. So leathal, yet so pretty.

When no one came forth, the knight general asked a knight to fetch 'there Reaper', whoever that was. And assasian volunteered to go with, Blackjack interjected by claiming that it was indeed a wonderful idea.

'I see how it is.' Lyra thought scarcasticly.

Then she noted that the assasian picked to accompany the knight was none other than the same assasian who called her edgy. She liked his spunked. Lyra scanned over the scout catching his eye. She pulled down her mask just enough to allow visual of her lips. As he walked by, Lyra mouthed discreetly,

'i am not edgy.'

Then she smirked at him and pulled her cloth back up.

Z: Artificer, Assassin. Miriela: Warlord, Knight

"I ask that I accompany the Seeker after the discussion on security is complete." Z said to Blackjack. Z knew it would be difficult to oppose the princess with her stubborn streak and could see that Ishmael would act on his own regardless of Miriela's plans. Why he had to get the troublesome jobs he didn't know, probably because most jobs came from the princess. But he was going to form a team that had two purposes: stalk the princess and keep her safe, and hunt down any related to the killer and extract as much information as possible.

Miriela began plotting, now enraged by her brother's death rather than simply crying over it. She had Rynn as her sword, she was the shield, now she needed a dagger. And she looked to the hooded girl who was playing with one.

"Would you mind accompanying me on my fishing trip?" Miriela asked the Duelist.

Rynn | Fencer

Rynn watched in silence as an eruption of conversations started. Sir Blakesley and Blackjack took some time to suggest a couple ways to find potential evidence. Rynn decided not to speak her mind this time and say that they could very well just dig up the dead prince's body. She highly doubted anyone else would be open to that idea, especially if anyone here was superstitious. It was apparently considered bad luck to disturb the dead. Seconds later, Sir Blakesley assigned Kostis the task of retrieving the knights' Reaver. Kostis was also surprised, though he masked it soon after, and was even more so when Blackjack and another assassin Rynn learned to be named Havran Friedan thought it would be suitable to have an assassin tag along. Kostis was quite reluctant at first, but the assassins were equally firm in their insistence, and Sir Blakesley eventually agreed. Rynn tucked away Havran's eagerness to accompany a knight for later thought. And with that, Kostis and Havran went on their way.

Not much later, Princess Miriela spoke again. She asked the obsidian-haired female assassin to accompany them on their "fishing trip". Either the princess had specific reasons or knowledge that would encourage her to do this, or she really was into this "girls only" thing. Rynn would have to be in guard, but the situation could be enlightening as well. Now they could learn more about the assassins and their ways and methods, and get used to working with each other. Rynn nodded quickly and waved a hand for the assassin to join them. She just had a couple more questions before they left.

"Two more questions, please. Will we get to visit our families one last time before we begin? And will we need to meet up every day or... what?"

Ish and Wal, knights

Ishmael glared toward Blackjack then lower his head a little to hide a satisfaction when Blakesley agreed with him, for that he's thankful. Now they can finally get this over with with the meeting.

Wallance listened to the superior Assassin's word intensely, When the topic of the discussion seemed to have dropped and everybody else start moving on with their own things, The young guardian reluctantly voiced "So um....we just going to wait and let another one hidebefore we can do anything about it?"

Ishmael doesn't like the idea either, he still doesn't like the fact that they need to work together with the assassin in the first place, but he just wish the prince's death would be the killer's last kill, he's determine to bring an end to this as fast as possible, but if that's their only choice then that's how it has to be, he just hope that whoever the killer's next target is...isn't her, no he won't let it happen.

"I ask that I accompany the seeker after the discussion on security is complete." the red haired assassin suddenly said pulling Ishmael back from his train of thought, The seeker fixed his gaze at the older man and narrowed them withoutt saying anything. What does he want? Ishmael would have to keep his guard up, but in someway he's curious about this man's motivation to, toward the princess especially, sooner or later Ishmael would confront the man himself anyway, so this will be his chance.

Still locking his gazed with Z, Ishmael said to Wallace "You are going to stay here right?"

"Hm? Yeah I think I'm good with the staff I'm with now and eh....why? Are you planning on something?" The younger boy asked

"I might have stuff I have to attend" either it's something to do with this Z or tracking down the Princess to her "Fishing" trip " Can I trust you keeping your eyes on the castle? If you don't want there to be abother casualty, now is your chance to prevent it"

Wallace looked determined as he nodded "Umm!"

Ishmael nodded back at him, now let see what does this assasin want with him, hopefully it won't keep him here too long that he cannot follow the princess....or should he worried that is his plan all along, while that hooded girl use this chance to harm Miriela?

"Would you mind accompanying me on my fishing trip?" and here she is, the princess, asking that very hooded girl to come with her. Ishmael nearly lose his compose comically. In fact he might has stuttering during his next few lines "But P--Princess why would--you suggest such thing!?"

Lyra The Assassin

"Would you mind accompanying me on my fishing trip?" The princess asked?

Lyra twirled the dagger briefly on her finger tips before sliding it back into its sheath. From under her mask, she smiled knowingly, but her stormy grey eyes remained cold.

"Of course princess." She purred.

"B-but princess, w-we would you suggest such a thing?" Of of the inights asked, slipping out of his dignified position.

Lyra almost giggled, but she managed to compose herself.

"No need to worry yourself, the princess will be returned to you alive... Probably." Lyra stressed the last word of her sentence with an accusing glare. Her scarcasm protrayed another message, by playing on what the knights feared most Lyra was accusing them that they did not trust her, someone to whom they would have to allly themselves with.

The other knight who the princess asked beckoned Lyra over. The porcelan skinned assasian was not the type to say 'I told you so' so she just ignored Sir Blakesley as she past him on her way over to the princess. She could only imagine how contorted his face would be. Lyra stopped Infront of the princess. She didn't shake her hand, nor did she bow her head. Lyra just stared into her eyes for a bit before stepping aside, whisking her skirt in the other direction. The red fabric billowed up around her legs, making it look suspiciously like flames.

[Kostis Wither||Champion]

“Wither, eh?" Havran commented. "Heard it was a famous house till it withered years ago. Guess the name determined its future. But nevermind that. Lead the way to the stables, Blue.”

Kostis narrowed his eyes at the assassin in annoyment. He had heard far worse things said about his family through the years, but it didn't make Havran's words any less nettlesome - or true - to the knight.

Not to mention the assassin's choice of nickname for the Champion, but Kostis forced himself not to say anything. He instead turned without a word to nod towards Sir Blakesley in farewell before turning onto the path leading from the garden and striding off, leading the assassin in to in the direction towards the stables. However, Kostis's poised attitude was dashed when, right before exiting the garden, his allergies caught up with him and he had to cover his face with his arm to muffle a sneeze, followed directly after by another.

Kostis didn't say anything, though his face burst into flame in embarrassment depsite himself at the unfitting timing of it. He quickly stalked ahead towards the large stable doors, which were already pushed open so that the gentle breeze could blow through and freshen both the barn and allow the horses to feel cool on the warm day.

Many of the stalls were occupied by steeds of various colors, patterns, and breeds. Most of the horses were either dozing where they stood or munching on the sweet hay provided to them for their meal. As the two men entered, pairs of long faces turned to gaze at the pair, their ears swiveling in curiosity and a few whinnying in greeting at the new arrivals.

"Have your pick," Kostis offered before pacing to the third stall on the left and running a hand down a white stallion's long nose, the animal in turn nuzzling into Kostis's palm.

[Syle||Ranger]

Syle watched as the princess offered the Duelist to attend the fishing trip with her. Syle's eyes narrowed in amusement, especially at one of the knight's reactions to the offer. Sir Blakesley was not exempt from this.

"Surely, not, your Highness." Blakesley said firmly. "I will not have an assassin, of all people, around you any more than necessary."

"Is that really your call?" Blackjack asked, eyes flicking between the knight and Miriela. "Dear me, Blakesley, I would say you're outranked in this situation. Doesn't look like you have much say, if I would offer my view on this situation."
"I'm only trying to keep the Princess safe from harm," Blakesley defended himself, turning to glare at the pale assassin. "Offering my opinion to the princess is one of my duties, I only wish she would heed to my warnings."
"I personally think it's a great idea," Blackjack chuckled. "Girls day out, eh? And surely doing something as relaxing as fishing might make it so they can work together all the more."
"No one asked you," Blakesley said, raising his voice.

"Touché," Blackjack tsked before Blakesley turned to respond to Rynn's question.

"I will allow you to visit your families before this has completely gone underway. Though unfortunately that may have to wait until after Princess Miriela's trip." Blakesley said, somewhat gloomily, thanks to the assassin accepting Miriela's request to come along. "As for how often we meet, that will depend on how much information each of us comes up with, I suppose."

"Very well. Thank you Sir Blakesley." Rynn peered up at the sky for a moment to gauge the time. She would say it was just barely getting past midday. The sun hung in the sky heavy and full, bathing the gardens in the brilliance of its rays. It would begin its slow decent towards the horizon line soon, taking its light and insufferable heat with it. And if the dark clouds gathering in the distance were anything to go by, it may rain as well. Not exactly preferable weather.

"Princess, I suggest we get moving soon. We only have a few hours of daylight left."

Oh wait. How rude of me. She had nearly forgotten about the assassin.

Rynn whirled to face the female assassin with them. She flashed a hesitant grin. The assassin didn't appear to be very friendly towards knights.

"Hi, sorry. I'm Rynn. Rynn Omasin." For a second, she debated offering her hand for a handshake, but quickly decided that that was much too formal.

"And you are?"

All of the knights includign Sir Blakesley were flustered. Trying to convince the princess not to take herbut Lyra knew she was stubborn. Blackjack stepped up to defendLyra pointing out that it was the princess's descision. Lyra silently thanked the assasian. The knight who was to join her winformed the princess about their time limit, then turned to lyra.

"Hi, sorry. I'm Rynn. Rynn Omasin." Rynn's hand jerked for a second, but the knight seemedto decided against shaking hands. "and you are?"

Lyra paused for a second. She had been dredding this question. Should she tell Rynn the truth? Or keep her identity a secrect? The knights had no cause for a hidden identity. But Lyra had her mother, would they punish Lily? Lyra knew what she had to do.

"Call me Raven." She responded, using pet name her father called her. She had no other ideas having never recieved an assassian's name.

Havran Frieden - Scout

Havran casually followed Kostis while occasionally glancing at the colorful flowers flourishing the royal garden. It was certainly a nice transition from the small flower field near the town. All the field had was a bunch of wild disorganized flowers, a stark contrast to the royal garden.
Havran turned his attention the moment he heard a muffled sound. He stared at the blue-haired knight in front of him inquisitively, cocking his brow. His arm was covering his face and his shoulders rose followed by the same muffled sound. The red-haired assassin chuckled, bursting into a laugh when he caught a glimpse of Kostis’s burning red face. Before he could say anything though, the knight quickly entered the stables.
‘Guess I’ll just let it go,’ Havran thought, looking around the stables. It was not much different to the ones in town, merely bigger which was understandable. A few people were there, seemingly curious of the two.
“Have your pick,” Kostis offered as he walked over to a white horse Havran assumed was his own. The redhead briefly examined the horses one by one, seeing which would suit him, until he came across one with pitch black hair. He furrowed his brow as the gears in his mind turned.
“Don’t I know you from somewhere…?” Havran muttered.
“Oh, Sir Havran!”
The assassin turned to the owner of the voice. There stood a young woman with short light blue hair cladded in clerical garment. When recognition dawned on him, a smile rose to his lips.
“Silque!” he greeted, waving, “Fancy meeting you here. Did you get promoted into a royal medic or the sorts?”
“No, I am still but an ordinary cleric serving the priory,” Silque said with a chuckle, elegantly walking over to Havran, “I’m here as a volunteer for Sir Saber’s medic.”
“Ah, so you’re the one who’s been taking care of big bro. You should’ve told me sooner,” Havran remarked.
“My apologies but I’ve been busy going to the town and the prison back and forth and with your brother in a critical condition, I have my hands full,” Silque explained.
“It’s alright, Silque. Thank you for all your hard work, I owe you one,” Havran said sincerely.
“Please, I’m simply returning Sir Saber’s kindness,” Silque said, shaking her head, “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must buy a few ingredients for his salve.”
“Sure thing. Tell Saber I said hi,” Havran said as he left the cleric to her agenda. He continued his short examination but in the end, he decided to pick the one next to Kostis’s, a black mare similar to Silque’s.
“Sorry for the wait. I’ll have this one,” Havran said, patting the horse’s snout.

"Well let's go then" Miriela said and ordered a carriage from a nearby servant who went off to get it, "Z please handle the meeting responsibly and try not to antagonize Sir Blakesley"

"Of course princess" Z bowed slightly and proceeded to walk towards Sir Blakesley before the carriage arrived. pointedly walking in a direction that took him towards Ishmael, cannon slung across his back. Z had a book in his hand and drew something out of it a pen and paper. "The princess is the bait, follow her follow her from where she can't sense you"

As he passed Ishmael, Z put the note he wrote in Ishmael's hand before moving to see Sir Blakesley.

Ishmael growled, fusterated but did not take a bait, only sending a de,ad glared toward the hooded assassin, Miriela didn't react to this or Blakesley's reaction simply carry on her plan, it hurts a little, being ignored by her but for now he could be careless about that and come up with something that would ensure her safety, maybe the confrontation between him and Z will have to wait.

Thankfully, soon after this Z passed on the messaged quickly to the seeker as he walked pass to talk the the head knight. Ishmael read the message, briefly turn back to look at the assassin. Now this confirmed his fear, or is it. He still doesn't trust the former knight and  this could as well be a trick but why would he want to set him after the princess if he mean her any harm? Or perhaps it isn't his intention, then is he trying to lure him out of the castle but why?

and what if it turn out to be to true, regardless he has to follow the princess with that female assassin acompanying her, Rynn might be able to hold her own but he couldn't take any chances, this is not the time to what if and what not, either way he's planning on doing it even without Z letting things out of the back.

Making up his mind. Ishmael swiftly get to the high ground using his arrow and and string and follow after the carriage quietly from up there. Seeker is the class that closely similar to the classic assassin in turn out fighting style, the different might only be the motivations behind it.

[Kostis Wither||Champion]

While Havran chatted with the cleric, Kostis entered the stall and began checking his horse over before he prepared to tack the stallion. Despite the fact that the steed had already been groomed, Kostis always checked the white horse over for burrs or the like before placing a saddle on his back. For extra measure, the blue-haired knight quickly leaned down to place a hand against each of the horse's long leg's in turn, each of which the stallion raised so that Kostis could examine the animal's hooves and horseshoes for any possible damage or problems.
Content with his quick examination, Kostis placed a saddle pad across the horse's back as Havran ended his conversation with the blue haired woman, the young man then walking up to the mare in the stall next to the one Kostis was stood in.
“Sorry for the wait. I’ll have this one,” The red-head said, petting the black mare's nose.
Kostis didn't say anything for a moment as he picked up a black saddle and positioned it atop the already placed saddle pad, shifting it slightly before strapping it against the horse's body.
"I didn't know you were associated with the injured prisoner," Kostis commented as he pulled tightly on the strap, buckling it into place and making sure it was snug before adjusting the stirrups at the horse's side. The knight hadn't tried to listen in on the assassin's conversation with the cleric but he had overheard bits and pieces of their discussion while he had been looking his horse over. Though he didn't know the critically injured man held in the royal prison by name, he could assume that was whom they meant. Suddenly Kostis seemed to think better of the thought he had remarked aloud.
"...Nevermind, it is none of my business." He said as he finished tightening the saddle and moved onto the bridle, forgetting for a moment the person whom he was speaking to was an assassin himself.
"The horse's tack should already be ready right there," Kostis nodded to where the mare's saddle and bridle hung, ready to use in case a swift departure on the animal was needed.

Lyra The Assassin

"Okay, let's go." Princess Miriela chirped.

She as well as Rynn and Lyra boarded the carriage. Lyra risked a glance over her shoulder. One of the knights was glaring daggers into her. So, in return, Lyra stuck out her tounge at him. She pulled her mask back up and was about to turn away when the assasian known as 'Z' walked past him casually. Then the knight turned away and looked downward. Confusing behavior. But Lyra could not stand observing for much longer; she ducked inside the carriage and sat on one of the seats. Then she casually leaned back and kicked her feet up onto the dashboard sepperating them from the driver.

"Where should we start our fishing trip?" Lyra asked twirling her hair on her finger.

In the pause that followed, Lyra began speculating the knights behavior. No one just looks at their crotch and smiles. The only other reason she could think of was that he was given a note. Lyra tsked disappointedly. Most likely by that Z person, so what would the nite be about? Probably to protect the princess from her. Lyra smiled from beneath her mask, she had the edge here. Everyone, for now feared her and she could use it to get what she wanted. She just had to play her cards right.

Havran Frieden - Scout

"I didn't know you were associated with the injured prisoner," Kostis commented as he readied his horse. Before Havran could say anything, the blue-haired knight quickly added, "...Nevermind, it is none of my business. The horse's tack should already be ready there."

"And here I thought you were interested in my personal life, Blue," Havran grinned mischievously as he quickly set the mare's saddle and bridle, "But well, he's my older brother. Looks like a seaman and acts like one but he tends to be fatherly to clients younger than him. Nobody would believe me if I said he's good with kids."

Havran buckled the last straps of the bridle gingerly, taking a few steps away to briefly admire his work. "Aaaaaand I'm done." The assassin took the stallion by the reins, leading her outside. "C'mon Blue, we don't have all day."

"And here I thought you were interested in my personal life, Blue," Havran grinned as he readied the black mare. Kostis almost said something back to confirm that he was, in fact, not interested, but the red-haired assassin continued on.

"But well, he's my older brother. Looks like a seaman and acts like one but he tends to be fatherly to clients younger than him. Nobody would believe me if I said he's good with kids."

Before Kostis could think of something to respond with, Havran announced he had finished prepping his horse and began to pull her outside. "C'mon Blue, we don't have all day."

Kostis, he himself having just finished strapping his stallion's bridle straps into place, felt a bit irritable as he gently tugged on the horse's reigns, exiting from the stall and leading the horse out of the stable after Havran.

"You certainly seem to enjoy calling me that," Kostis finally remarked in reference to Havran's choice nickname for the blue-haired knight as he lead the way to the palace gates so they could mount and depart towards their destination. "Might I ask if you have trouble remembering my name? Or is it simply something you find amusing."

Zed & Xayah

[Zed]

Zed was cleaning the restaurant's outdoor tables for his step-father when he noticed two children dressed in rags, one older than the other, enter the grocery store opposite. There were quite a few poor people living in Zed's community as many workers from the city were made redundant. Zed payed little attention to what was going on but noticed the older boy's pockets were stuffed with what seemed like a variety of vegetables. The white haired boy raised an eyebrow but all became clear when an angry shopkeeper stormed outside and gripped the two boys by the wrist firmly: they'd attempted to rob the store. Zed shook his head, but felt sympathy as the boys clearly had few alternative options. It was either steal and survive or don't steal and d1e of hunger, both seemed malnourished as their bone structure could be seen through the skin. However things took a turn for the worst when the shopkeeper withdrew a large wooden plank filled with nails and pointed it at the two boys. Zed watched helplessly, he didn't know what to do, should he help the starving boys? Or the man who'd been robbed?

[Xayah]

Xayah watched as the meeting came to an end and the odd group began to disperse. The blue haired knight left with another assassin to the stables to retrieve the "reaver" Xayah didn't know who they were referring to but the blue haired knight seemed reluctant initially. The princess also summoned a carriage to leave with the bunch if girls for their little trip. There were few people left on the courtyard. Looking around, she noticed another blue haired guy wearing a fully black combat suit, though this one seemed more reserved. Xayah noticed he spoke very little if any during the meeting. She approached him with an eyebrow raised, "Do you not intend to leave, Mr Silent?" She asked teasingly. "You're an assassin I presume, seeing as your not dressed all fancy like the knights."

Rynn | Fencer

Rynn hopped into the carriage cautiously and seated herself next to the princess. Raven, if that was her name - and what a peculiar name it was- did not seem inclined to attack Miriela, but you could never be sure, and Rynn was positive that Sir Blakesley would have been furious if she relaxed so much in front of the assassin, especially during their first time working together. So Rynn made sure not to let her guard down, though she did fully sheath her sword. The carriage ride was surprisingly smooth, and even included curtains that you could pull over the windows. Rynn made use of those, tugging them out and making sure that they were secure before doing anything else. Secrecy was clearly going to be a priority during this "fishing trip".

When their privacy was ensured and she had double checked the carriage for any potential dangers besides the assassin with them, she decided to pop the question. Only Raven beat her to it, saying "Where should we start our fishing trip?" Rynn faced the princess beside her.

"I don't believe that this is a fishing trip at all. At least, it would be terribly mistimed if so. Princess, I believe that you have something else in mind. Could you explain please?"

“You certainly seem to enjoy calling me that,” Kostis remarked as he led the assassin to the palace gates, “Might I ask if you have trouble remembering my name? Or is it simply something you find amusing."
“Short-term memory doesn’t fit for a Scout, Blue, I remember your name just fine. Let's just say it makes me easier to tolerate your flat character,” Havran said, grinning as he mounted the black mare, “You should be thankful your nickname isn’t incriminating. I once worked together with a gloomy lass and called her “Sunshine”. She didn’t seem to mind, though.”

Lyra The Assassin

Lyra, or to the Knight, Raven, watched as Rynn fumbled with the curtains.

"I don't believe it is a fishing trip at all." The knight informed.

Lyra chuckled darkly.

"Of course it's not." She stated.

Then she reached into her satchel and pulled out a wild blackberry and popped it into her mouth. She had stashed a few when she was in the garden. They were ripe and juicy, Lyra crushed the skin beneath her teeth. Flavor flooded her mouth. The blackberries she havested near her house were not nearly as sweet. Raven leaned back in her chair further, giving off a rudely relaxed Appearance. Also taunting the knight beside her for her rigidness. Why did knights have to be so formal? Lyra delicatedly picked up a fat blackberry. She tossed it at Rynn.

It was almost a test. Lyra wanted to see what she was to the knight. Rynn seemed more laid back then the rest, but you'd never know. For all the Knight knew, Lyra could of poisoned the berry. But where was the fun in that? The assasian preferred to play with her victims first.
