So...I haven't been an active Rp'r, whoops. So this is an rp that is co-hosted by North Sea, and I'm quite excited to once again be at least somewhat active.

In the days before things such as the Salem Witch Trials, or the change of tone witches know today, times were simpler. Knights found glory in defeating a witch, and kingdoms found peace from curses, or, they found only suffering from their greed.

Witches, once upon a time, were beautiful beings of many powers, and each were a part of a Coven, as humans called them. They preferred the terms Clan, and were not those ugly bags of wrinkles and warts.

Though they were still hunted, some kingdoms, the smart ones, enlisted the help of the Clans, most of the time the Elder Witch, or even a Seer. They did come in many variations of power and appearance, which each one counteracting the other, and no one witch being more powerful than the other, of course, unless they were of pureblood or an Elder.

But Witches who were willing to lend their services to a kingdom were few and far between, but they brought with them great power. A young king, a fellow named James, has recently found out about one of the oldest, and most powerful, Clan of witches living in the woods near his kingdom. James is smart, and knows his kingdom can further prosper under the influence of a witch, or witches helping it.

He will send two Knights, to find two Witches. The Clan he's targeting, oh its a small clan of only 10 witches. The Silver Witches, as they are known, have held off attacks from far larger Clans. This means something to young James. Their line is the most pure of all the Clans in the area, and they live so close. But they are reclusive, and unwilling. Times do change one's mind though. The young king has promised the leading Elder Witch of the Clan, a women named Moon, that his Knights will gain two Witches trust, and in return, the Knights will trade some of the finest horses the kingdom owns, since, while Witches are great hunters, they are not adept at horsemanship. The Witches the Knights have gained the trust of will return to the kingdom, and stay with it until their immortal magic runs out, or they meet an untimely end when the next king comes into power.

In Summary:

There are two Witches from the Clan, and there are two Knights from the kingdom.

One Witch is female, one Knight is female. Male Witches in the Clan are called Warlocks, and are considered special to a lot of Witch Covens, and there is only one Warlock in The Silver Witches. In the Knights section, female Knights are quite rare. So in total, One Male Warlock, and one Female Knight.

The Knights will start out getting debriefed by King James, who tells them about the mission. And the chosen Witch and Warlock get a message from Elder Moon, who says they will be expected two non-witches.

Witches and Knights will gain each others trust by feats of skill and bonding moments(like fighting off another Witch Clan and helping out the Clan in general)

The Witch and Warlock are in fact stronger than the Knights, but only if the Knights have their armor off. All magical beings are of course, weak to steel.

The Witch and Warlock can specialize in only one category. So, lets say that I was a Witch, I couldn't be a Fire Witch, but also have the powers of a Seer. This doesn't apply to the Knights, since all Knights under King James are said to be very powerful in all knightly feats, but they can excel in a certain category if you wish(like archery, or horsemanship, or swordplay..etc).

There are other magical creatures in this rp, like dragons and unicorns, and the Clan will come across plenty while the Knights are with them, its a normal thing for them to see a Unicorn wandering the woods or a fairy playing tricks on them.

Le Rules:

Like any good rp, this one has rules.

1. No op chars, Mary/Gary Sew/Stu. No controlling others chars..etc

2. Fighting will occur between both the Chosen Witches and Knights, so please keep it fair to all, and the outcome of who wins/loses/ties must be decided. Also keep violence Pg-13 and below.

3. Romance is encouraged between the four, and even though I don't like it, it will have to be Male w Female.

4. Again, all Witches from any clan are weak to steel.

The Silver Witches Clan:

Elder(Leader): Moon

Seer: Rigith

Seer 2: Can be filled by Female Witch or Warlock, if neither choose this it will be taken by Willow

Dark Arts practicer: Can be filled by Female Witch or Warlock

Water Witch: Can be filled by Female Witch or Warlock, and if neither choose this, than it will be taken by Fangora

Nature Witch: Can be filled by Female Witch or Warlock, if neither chooes this, than if will be taken by Whisper

Spies:

Shadow, Shiekra, Whinter.

My Form:

Name: Cere Redgrave

Gender: Female Witch

Age: 20

Powerset:

Dark Art Practicer, meaning she can summon demons and control them. They take a lot of power from her. Being a Dark Artist, she can, as the name inplies, see demons and take only very few  powers from them. Can be said she has some slight insanity.

Appearance:

I'd rather not get banned so HERE

Personality:

Cere appears to enjoy certain situations with a slight hidden sadistic nature, most likely from spending too much time with demons. She maintains her cool even against powerful enemies she may come across, and rather enjoys beating them, giving her quite a cocky nature. Cere tends to operate alone and prefers to do things by herself or with other Witches, thinking that mere mortals cannot get things done. She can be considered impatient, especially towards the ‘talkative types’. With these traits, she can come off callous and nonchalant towards other characters, but later learns to care about their well beings, even more so to those weaker or smaller than her. She uses herappearance to a point, using it to sensually mess with most male persons, instead of her being in the palm of their hand, there in the palm of hers. Cere is not slow to turn against her demonic pets, and can recover from shock quite quickly. However, she thinks herself to be immortal and powerful, going so far as to wear her 'heart' outside on her chest, in the form of a pocket watch, but her defense against ranged foes is quite weak.

Crush: Salastar

Magic Color: Black, smokey colored magic with red embers in it. Looks almost like fire.

Hello to all who wish to read my Signature

My name is mechfighter, but you already know that

I go by that or you can call me Rukath

enjoy what you find below, some of which is mine and others are made by others from around the forum, Enjoy.

How my past few years have felt

(all poetry/what-ever-you-might-call-it below is made by me)

you watch the couples with a light eye

happy that they are happy and like a ghost you move on

your the good friend that all can trust with their emotions

but rarely ever express your own

stay strong for others and always be there for them

but the lonlyness always sits there in your heart

like a sleeping dragon

you want to wake it to learn and experiance

but you let it sleep for you don't know how to, or can't, wake it

you also fear retaliation or rejection for waking the sleeping dragon

family helps but it can't wake the dragon fully

so it just falls back into its deep sleep

the dragon requires a special person to wake it

and not some helpless damsle

the girl who will wake my heart will come one day

but till then my heart will allways have a dragon of lonelyness sitting on it

respect is due when respect is earned

and respest is earned though action, knowledge, and deed

not position, word, and greed

everyone who lives under these gray skies

learns to love the rain's soft lullabies

it pitter patters upon the roof

like the constant drumming of a thousand fingers

it dribbles down the window

in constant snake like patterns

slithering down the window

it can be harsh

ruining every ones plans for the once sunny day

but then it can be creative

sculpting a mountain with it's thousands of fingers

and the patience of a million years

let it's colorful nature never stop falling from its grey origins

one might ask "what is the most dangerous thing on the planet?"

and the simple answer is "man"

we are a cruel and evil species

we attack each other for petty reasons

we ruin the place where we live

and then we wipe out other creatures with our constant demands for our petty lives

but we are not all bad

we can change and evolve

we can fix some of the wrongs we have done to this world

we can control ourselves

we can make this planet better

but first

before we can do any of that

we must change ourselves

life is a constant circle

where one ends another begins

it is also the most unpredictable thing on this planet

but we love it for that

for life's curve balls keeps away the repetition

you could take it both hands an lead it by the nose in you preferred direction

or you could let it take its course and see what happens

life is also cruel and unforgiving at times

but we must take the good with the bad

to give up on it is not an option

for it is up to you to change your life and make it better

but in truth life is a gray fog

but all it takes is a little sun and everything becomes visible

Fire, Fire, where's your light?

Have thy embers turned to ash?

Has the air gone to thin for you to breath?

Will you light again brighter than before?

To warm the souls of others

To chase away the cold that creeps into bones

Fire, Fire burn so bright

Signle to others to gather around your warmth

And that you are reborn

Είμαι μέσα σε κάθε πλάσμα και το φυτό, είμαι πολύ περίπλοκη, αλλά μπορώ να κάνω απλά πράγματα, είμαι όλοι γύρω από σας, αλλά υπάρχουν μερικές θέσεις όπου δεν υπάρχουν. Τι είμαι εγώ;

To say that you are normal is a lie, there is no such thing

To say you are better is a lie, we are all the same

To say that you are worse is a lie, no one's perfect

We are just different

We are all perfect in our own way

And no one can change that

These are the lessons of life

And we must learn them

My Viking OC

Name: Rukath Soular

age: 17

Back story:

Seven years previous Rukath was found in the woods by Hiccup and the gang while they were out on patrol; he lay in a clearing, the ground was soaked with his blood, close to death, breath shallow. He was cut and bruised all over; his cloths were torn to complete shreds, his face had a massive slash across his right eye, and patch of scalp was bloodied at the back of his head where some one had tried to bludgeon his head in. A few bloodied weapons lay strewn about the clearing as if some one left in great haste, which suggested that Hiccup and company had scared off the attackers just in time. With Rukath being carried by Toothless, the gang flew off back to Berk where they took Rukath straight to Gothi who said that Rukath had a very slim chance of living, but none the less she started the healing process.

After a few days had passed Rukath woke up, he was scared of all he did not know. Gothi had Hiccup and Stoick fly up to her hut so that they could talk to Rukath; they asked where he had come from and who had attacked him, but all Rukath could say was that he did not know, the only reason he had a name was because that was what was carved into a stone pendant that hung around his neck, it was the only thing that was not destroyed or ruined in any way, unlike his cloths, after getting nowhere with Rukath, who seemed to have no memory, Gothi pulled Stoick and Hiccup outside and told them what she thought and knew of Rukath, she said that he seemed to be about the age of ten and had no memory due to his close encounter with death, she then told Stoick what was on the boy's left shoulder, a black Skrill tattoo, all knew that that was the symbol of the Berserker tribe; this confused Stoick and Hiccup who decided to keep that part about the boy secret from the tribe.

Time passed slowly for Rukath, he was treated as a bit of an outsider, but there were a few that he had befriended. Rukath spent a lot of time reading up on dragons and studying them as well as creating several things that showed a resemblance to things that Hiccup built but with a different flare, this was a way to not interact with others. Many people treated Ruakth with little interest for the first year Rukath had been on the island, some still remembering what happened when they last brought an unknown person into their midst, this mostly changed when Rukath got into the Dragon training academy.

While at the Academy Rukath tried many different dragons, all of which didn't work for him for one reason or more, the main of which was that the dragons did not "connect" with him. He spent two years in the Academy, dragonless, this did not help the ridicule that he sometimes got. On the day that Hiccup announced that Dragon's Edge was open to the other trainers Rukath managed to hitch a ride on one of his friends dragons to the magnificent place. Once there Rukath found that there was not much to do when you did not have a dragon to ride. On a clear night with a strong wind, Rukath "borrowed" a small, one man, sailing ship, loaded it up with some supplies, and took off into the night to see what he could see, and maybe, just maybe, find the right dragon for himself. He spent several hours out at sea but it was not long before Rukath found himself in a massive storm which blew him way off course, though he did not have much of one to begin with.

Once the storm had passed Rukath found himself in the vicinity of an island that he did not recognize with mast that was shattered in half. Rukath managed to paddle the dilapidated craft to the shore of the island and beach it so that he could do repairs on the thing, he found out quickly that there was no way of fixing the craft's mast with out some metal sheets and some nails, with that on his mind, Rukath decided to explore the island that he had landed, it did not take long before he heard a sort of draconic mewling. Following the sound, it was not long before Rukath found a baby dragon trapped in a metal dragon hunters net, thinking quickly he cut the rope holding the net in the tree and lowered the baby dragon to the ground, removing the heavy and rusted net, Rukath found that he could not identify the small creature, he reveled at the dragonet whereupon it mewled again and Rukath realized that the creature was half starved, with a deft movement he brought out a piece of fish from his satchel and gave it to the baby dragon who snapped it up quickly, Rukath produced another fish from his satchel and gave it to the baby who once again snapped it up again and after the second fish the baby seemed sated and happy, he patted the dragonet and gave it a loving scratch, which caused the dragonet to hum a in a manner that was very pleasing to the ears, and stood up and began to walk back to his boat and the dragonet began to follow him; he was about to tell it to go find its mother but he thought that if the poor creature had been here this long with out help from its parentals that he figured it was parentless.

Sighing Rukath waited for the dragonet to catch up and he continued back towards the boat, when Rukath reached it he sighed and began to continue work on it, trying to fix it so that he could get back to the Edge. After a probable hour he gave up with the mast balanced precariously where it should go, he sat down and put his head in his hands, the dragonet looked at Rukath and then the mast and then the little dragon stood up and shot a small blob of amber onto the spot where the mast was broken and with that the mast was fixed, or at least repaired to usefulness. Rukath looked at the mast then the dragon, he now knew the golden colored baby dragon was a Death Song, and then stood up, took the Death Song in his arms and spun him around in elation that the Death Song and saved them both; after a few minutes of that Rukath put the suitably smug Death Song on the bench of the boat and again thanked the little creature, Rukath thought that the dragon needed a name, he named the little creature Dubstep and with that they set sail back towards the Edge.

Rukath was thoroughly scolded by Hiccup and the others when he got back but he did not care for he had a dragon that no one else had. Once back on Berk Rukath and Dubstep were given a house to live in for none had fostered him and none wanted to share a house with a dragon that every dragon feared. The old house sat on the side of the mountain that was topped by Gothi's hut. He took the rickety old house with gratitude and after time fixed it up with the help of Dubstep's amber and made the house there own.

You can call me Nav or Fury. I also go by Erin Larz. In real life, I am like this, but whenever it's not face-to-face, I am like this. I love to read, draw (digital drawings) and write my own stories/books. My favorite genres of books is mostly everything besides classic (PM me if you wanna complain about my taste in books). I have a heart for myhical animals (particularly the scaled, feathered and fuzzy ones) and often wish the things of the imagination came true. I'm a homebody but like to get out every now and then (preferably the library, lake or at my friend's house) and I enjoy listening to all sorts of music from Christian rap to Epic North's soundtrack worthy music!

Sorry Navlyn, all spots were taken before you joined. Even then, coven of witches usually only have one member doing one thing, unless you're a seer, because seers(along with Warlocks) are special. So, no, I wouldn't accept another Dark Arts Practicer.

Cere Redgrave-Dark Arts Practicer

(If I don't finish this, I'm coming back and editing it because I need this starting post to be up)

Moon paced around in the hollow cave she and her Seers' share, occasionally glancing in the pot of swirling liquid the two had created. Both the Witch and the Warlock had not arrived, and the Elder grew restless, as the Seers expressions had not changed since the messenger sent by the king arrived. Rigith, her top Seer, tore her gaze away from the liquid, mouthing the words, 'she's here.'

Sure enough, a rustle of a bush sounded outside the cave, and Cere poofed in. Flicking her red hair out of her face, she bowed to Moon, smiling all the way.

"Sorry I'm late, hunting that silly deer could not come fast enough," she said, swirling her magic around in the air casually. Moon shook her head at the young Dark Artist. They all were the same, but Cere...Cere was insane. Rigith had warned Moon of her long before the young witch was born, along with the Warlock that graced their Clan two years prior.

Speaking of the Dark Artist, she was currently chatting up Malphas, a large bird demon. Cere had pointed a long finger at it, though, to Moon, it looked as if she was pointing at a wall.

"No you silly bird, I did not distract you! I-"

"Cere!" Moon yelled at the girl, forcing her to stare at the Elder with a wicked look in her eyes.

Cere pointed a slender finger at her head, tilting it to the side and saying, "Ha, the voices. You wanted to say something Elder Moon?"

"Yes, I did, but you'll have to hold off from your voices-"

"Oh but that's just Malphas talking," she interupted. "Oh, sorry, I did it again, continue."

Moon shook her head in dispare, turning away from the red head witch. "We wait for the Warlock."

Yule

(( As RedWind's co-host, I'll be making the starter post for the knights ^^.))

Yule absentmindedly tugged at a piece of her long blonde hair, as she quietly made her way down the cobblestone alleyway. She was approaching the palace, and while she had been thrilled at the summon from King James to meet with him, she couldn't help but feel nervous. This was the king of the people she had devoted her life to serving. If she made a bad impression, she'd never forgive herself. She had met with the king before, of course, when she had been knighted. But this was a special summon. It must mean something big was about to happen, and Yule was a part of it.

She made a left turn out of the alleyway, and was now walking down the large main street that led striaght towards the palace. It was a quiet place this time in the evening, most people in their homes. Yule took a deeper breath as she approached the gates. Two guards awaited her. "State your name, position, and business." The taller one of the two said.

"Yule Anathema, Knight, on summons from His Highness, King James." She said with all the confidence she could muster. She slightly turned her shoulder towards him, flashing the knight's shield crest embroidered on her shoulder padding. The guard looked over it, nodding, and opened the gate.

"I had been told to expect you and another knight. The king awaits in the throne room." He said, as Yule nodded and stepped inside the gate, walking down the path that led to the grand doors. She heard the gates click shut behind her as she entered the castle. She made her way to the throne room, and saw the King on his grand throne. She walked gracefully before the King, kneeling down before him.

"Your Highness." She said respectfully. "I have come by your summons to serve in whatever way you so desire."

"Yule Anathema, Knight of 4 years and counting, please stand." He said, his voice seeming strong, yet also bored of such formality almost. Yule stood promptly, her arms plastered to her sides. "Once your colleague arrives, I will state your business." The King said. Yule nodded promptly, staring straight ahead as they waited.

Let's get this going!

Jakill

Jakill slowly pondered the village. He had to stall as long has he could. Jakill knew that the king wanted to see him, but why. There were only two reasons he could think of. He would either be beheaded or he was going to do something great. Jakill really hoped the second choice was the right one. He really didn't want to get beheaded.

Jakill took one last look at the village, and turned down to the big street that led up to the castle. Jakill slowly approached the gate that was guarded by two guards. "State your name, position, and business," said the smaller guard of the two.

Jakill swallowed, took in a deep breathe, and spoke in his most confident voice he could make out. "Jakill Van Dann. Knight. And I am here to see King James."

The guard nodded and opened up the gate. "The other knight is already there. They are waiting for your arrival," spoke the knight.

"I'm late!" Jakill exclaimed. "Thank you." He said quickly and rushed into the castle. Jakill quickly located the throne room (with a few wrong turns) and found King James sitting on his throne with Yule, another older knight.

Jakill stepped into the room and bowed to his king. "I'm sorry I'm late your majesty."

I patted the head of the sea serpent that lived in the lake that was nearby and watched as she retreated back into the deep, black, waters. She was a good friend of mine and had taught me some things about water magic. I stood at the edge of the lake and looked over the peace of the water, wriggling my webbed toes into the cold sand that rimed the lake, I didn't feel the cold of it though, one of the benifits of being able to control water and use magic that related to it. I left the lake side with a calm walk, though my long legs made it faster than most could walk, and headed for the seer's cave.

It was interesting being the only Warlock born to the clan but I had learned that it was a gift for warlocks were so rare so I didn't mind. I put my hands into the pockets of the water worn leather trench coat that draped around my shoulders and only reached mid thigh. I had been summoned by Elder Moon to go to the Seer's cave, the reason was unknown to me but I liked a good surprise or just something to puzzle over.

When I reached the entrance to the seer's cave I pushed aside the bushes that covered the entrance and entered, I noticed that the only other non elder witch here was Cere who worked with the Dark Arts. I bowed respectfully to Elder moon and the seer's, my ever present light smile on my face, "good morning ((Y/N?)) Elder Moon" I said as I looked up from my bow with my mismatched eyes, another odd feature about me. "Sorry I am late, lost track of time while talking with Cueth ((Sooth, name of the Serpent))" I said in apology to the elder, waiting for her to tell us why we were here

Cere Redgrave-Dark Arts Practicer

"Oh, hello Salastar. Looking ruggish as always," Cere commented, giving the taller man a wink. The red head once again heard the Elder sigh and turn away from her. The Witch had a...thing for men. And since Salastar is the only man on the premise, she had it in her head to mess with him. But her mind was always on something, always thinking at rapid paces and bolting towards the first sign of danger. It was infuriating to the other Witches, including Moon.

"Were you talking to your sea serpent friend again? I must say that alone is quite an impressive feat." She looked him over once more, a smirk plastered on her face.

"Cere!" Moon shouted at the younger witch, the Elder's usually calm monotone shifting once more to a loud groan. "The Seers and I have a warning for you both, and you must listen. Its for the good of the Clan you don't mess this up. I have faith in Salastar, but you," she pointed at Cere,"You..you I have little faith in."

Cere sighed through her nose and nodded slowly, rubbing her temples. "I can't handle both of you. Gomorrah shut up! Please, Elder Moon, continue, I'll try my best to listen."

Moon turned her back on the two for only a couple seconds, staring into the swirling liquid the Seers' had crafted.

I shook my head in good humor at Cere's comment since I was the only male she seemed to need to mess with me. I nodded at her comment about Cueth, "it is more more greater a feat than those creatues you conjure and talk with" I said simply.

Moon snapped at Cere and said that she had a warning for us and it was for the good of the clan. My usually present smile thinned to a sraight line, I heard Moon's comment about her faith in me but not in Cere, it was a tad worrying but it paled in comparison to what Moon probably had for us.

Moon looked away from us and mack into the seer's pot, "Elder Moon.. what is this warning you have for us?" I asked worried, the clan had faced so much including other huge clans, what could be this bad and what could Cere and I do about it?

Cere~ Dark Arts Practicer

Cere wasn't as mortified by his comment as Gomorrah was. Her pet was having a rebellious period lately, but he was her strongest demon. He was also the hardest to control, taking most of her reserves each time she summoned him. Most Witches were not aware of the hardship a Dark Artist had to go through to keep Infernals happy. Moon knew the price of it, she was a Dark Artist at one point in her immortal life. Cere wasn't allowed to d.ie. She couldn't, and so she made sure her pets followed her willingly. But Gomorrah wanted to fight. And so he was here, growling at Salastar even though the Warlock could not see nor hear him. It was both infuriating and annoying to Cere, but she kept her cool and pressed her lips into a thin line. Cere was known for being compared to a siren by mortals, she wasn't going to tarnish her reputation by getting annoyed by the voices in her head.

Moon had either notice this, or she didn't care, but the intense look the Elder was giving the red head was giving her mixed feelings. The Elder stared at her for only a couple heartbeats longer, before giving the same look to Salastar.

"I know what you're thinking. Why were both of you summoned here, and what for. The young King wants me to send two Witches from our Clan to work for him. But I don't trust the mortals that lived under his father. The boy has promised me great things for our Clan, but I told him to gain the trust of two of my witches-"

"You're sending us away!" Cere objected loudly, her arm sporadically crossing her chest before shooting out to the side in outrage, her magic swirling around her fingertips. For a moment, the young witch gave the Elder an expression that would've melted the flesh off a mortal, and it reminded Moon that the girl would only grow stronger with time and experience. Most Dark Artists overthrow the Elder, and Cere's mother came so close, and this only reminded Moon that she had to deal with Cere before the girl got it in her head to defeat Moon.

"Quiet Witchling! I'm not sending either of you away, not yet at least," the Elder quickly replied. This seemed to stir something in Cere, and the girl eventually tore her vicious eyes away from Moon, sighing once more through her nose and regaining that cool and collected expression she always seemed to wear.

"Two knights will journey from the Kings land, and they must earn your trust. Only then will you be sent off to work for the king. Everyone in agreement?" Moon asked, eyeing Cere.

The red head adverted her eyes from the Elder as she said, "Yes, Elder Moon."

"Now get out of my sight and wait for the knights at the forests edge."

Cere was gone as quickly as she came, the dark embers floating around the area she once stood before disappearing into the air. The forest was a blur in her mind as she arrived, leaning against a tree and staring at the pristine castle in the distance. She didnt have a doubt in her mind that she would get quite an earful from both Malphas and Salastar.

(I don't think I pointed this out but Moon is Ceres grandmother. Moon really dislikes her.)

Yule

Yule inclined her head at Jakill in greeting as he rushed beside of her in the throne room. She had seem him around and worked with him a few times, but didn't know him all that well. She looked back at the King, one eyebrow raised ever so slightly, awaiting his instructions.

"Jakill, please stand," The king said. "I'm sure the two of you are rather curious as to why I asked you into my prescense. You see, I have a very special expedition planned and needed two very special knights to complete it. Jakill, with you being so skilled, and Yule, being a rare female knight, I couldn't think of a better duo to complete this task for the kingdom."

Yule felt a small blush come to her face for being acknowledged as a good knight, and glanced at Jakill momentarily.

"In the woods, not far outside the kingdom, a small Clan, a witch clan, known as the Silver Witches, resides. I have reason to believe that having witches and Warlocks as allies will be of great benifit to the kingdom. Therefore, I am to send two of my finest knights out to make peace and an alliance with two of the witches and or warlocks they come across. I have selected you, Yule and Jakill, to fufill this task."

Yule stared wide eyed at the King, doing her best to hide her shock and keep composure. She had never encountered a witch or a warlock, only heard stories of such happening.

"Outside the gates, you'll find two guards bearing two of our finest horses. These will be a sort of peace offering to the clan." James scooted to the edge of his throne, looking hard at the two of them. "Let this be clear, the two of you are not to return until you have gained the trust of two members from this clan. Is that understood?"

Yule ducked her head. "Yes, Your Highness."

James cast an extra glance at Jakill, before sitting back on his throne. "Very well. You are excused to set off on this task immediately. The guards that have your horses also bear one map for each of you, to find your way towards the clan."

Yule bowed once, then turned and walked away on weak knees. This was a lot to take in at once. She was worried about the witch clan, worried for her life, worried for failing the mission. She hoped she would succeed.

Outside of the palace gates, she found the guards with the horses. She nodded to each of them, walking towards the black horse, with the kingdom's royal crest and saddle on it. She mounted, refusing the helping hand of the guard, and took the map from his hand. "Thank you." She said blandly. She unfolded it, her eyes scanning the parchment. The journey wouldn't be too long.

She was now only awaiting Jakill to join her, and then they would be off.

Jakill He stood up as the

Jakill

He stood up as the king ordered him to and King James explained why he had summoned them here. Jakill seemed not to breathe but take in very single word from him. He said that Yule and himself were to set off to a clan of witches called the Silver Witches and they were to befriend two of them.

For the time being Jakill's mouth went dry. He heard rumors from the villagers about there being witches in the forest but Jakill had never seen one. The king said that there should be two of the finest horse with maps outside the castle. And then he asked if they were ready to take on this challenge. "Of course, your majesty." He comfirmed.

Yule had also agreed and she bowed and exited the room with a bow. Jakill turned to the king and bowed too, and set off after Yule.

Jakill spotted her already on her horse. Jakill approached his jet black stallion and mounted it. "Ready to go?" He asked unsurely.

I realized I flubbed my words and I could see there was some inner turmoil inside Cere. Moon's intense look could bore holes in people and I avoided her gaze. I returned my gaze to Moon when she explained what was coming and thought.

I didn't really like humans, ruined the water and found it a sport to ki,ll creatures of the water. I remained silent through Cere's objections and questions and Moon's responses. I had learned long ago to keep my anger down and internal, only once had the clan experienced what my unchecked anger could do, only recently has that dehydrated place in the forest regained some living vegetation and that had happened when I was only seven. Once again I kept my objections and thoughts internal, "yes Elder Moon" I said in agreement, my emotions not appearing in my face or my voice, I turned to leave when Elder Moon told us to leave.

I left the cave, a patch of ice remained where I had stood, and once in the forest broke into a land eating stride as I began my trek across the forest. I had yet to learn the water form of the magic that could transport me from place to place for it was a little harder than the one Cere had learned.

Thanks to my time in the water my lungs, heart, and muscles could easily take me to the forest edge in roughly fifteen minutes. I skidded to a halt at the edge of the forest and looked out at the castle, barely out of breath. I glanced around for Cere and found her leaning against a nearby tree.

I walked towards her to see what she thought about the idea of letting a knight gain her trust, I put my hands in my jacket before I stopped, "I don't know about you but I've never been that fond of humans, knights especially, always ruin what they have, usually their water, and have this censored to ki,ll the great creatures of the world" I said conversationally.

Cere shifted her body to face Salastar, neither smiling nor frowning, she just, stared. "Every mortal a knight k.ills, they either come to me, or they go to whatever peace mongering deity in the sky. I feed them to Gomorrah. I guess you can say I'm not fond of knights, but males on the other hand," Cere paused to give the Warlock a sultry look, her old attitude coming back swiftly. Those that see Cere could pass her off as just a flirt, but that was just her way of showing gratitude, or..something more. She didn't know nor care what way men took her.

"I wish there was more excitement to life. And I wish mortals weren't so cruel to nature." Cere quickly scoffed at her comment. "I sound like Whisper, I need to stop spending time with her, but Malphas thinks that I'll smuggle bird seeds to him. Not that I do," she said quickly, looking into the forest behind her as if the brown haired witch might pop out at any moment.

Cere shifted to face me and just stared with no hint of emotion on her face. I listened to what she said about spirits and saw her sultry look, I had grown used to it and actually found it a tad cute to I returned it with a pleasant smile. "Who knows, maybe in our position with the mortal humans we could maybe convince them of other, less destructive ways" I said, I wasn't as imortal as Cere but like my serpent friend I would live for nearly a milenia if I managaed to not get ki,lled.

I pulled my right hand out its pocket and began twirling my index finger in front of me and with it pointed towards the sky. A ball of water formed just above my finger and began to spin slowly, changing form as it did so. Slowly but surely the orb of water took the shape of a lily flower and when it was ready I simply plucked it from the air and the watery form froze, "creation is so much more beautiful than destruction, no?" I said as I looked at the icey form before I offered it to Cere.

"Truthfully, I find both creation and destruction quite beautiful. A lady can never be to picky, but I am no lady, as you are no man," Cere replied, reaching to grasp the delicate ice flower he offered her. There hands touched for only the briefest of moments, but she wasn't blind to the sparks that raced up her arm. She held back the gasp that threatened to escape her lips, unsure if it was the flower or Salastar that sent fire into her core.

The flower in question lay in her palm, as Cere froze for only a couple seconds. "Thank you," she breathlessly let out, marveling at the intricate details that marked the flower. "My magic..it couldn't make something as extraordinary as this, Salastar.." For once in her life, Cere was without words. So her mind did the only thing that felt right. She hugged him. Even though he was taller and her head just made it to his chest, she hugged him.

But all to soon did she let go, coughing quietly. "The knights, they should be arriving soon. It's important we don't make the Elder more mad at me than she already is," she said aloud, almost sure with herself that what happened wasn't real even though she knew it was.

I listened to what Cere said about the beauty of both creation and destruction and nodded to her statement about her not being a lady and I not being a man, it was true, she was a witch and I a warlock. When she took the ice flower from me our hands touched, it was but a mere moment but it was enough to send sparks through my body. I was never usually one for fire but the one I felt warmed me without making me dry out, the feeling was new though it felt oddly familiar but in a good way, I held onto the feeling for I wanted to know what it was.

I noticed how Cere had also seemed to have frozen, only briefly though, before she thanked me with little air to her voice. She marveled at the flower before choppily stating how her magic could never make something like the ice lily. What happened next was something I would never expected from Cere, at her seeming loss for words she hugged me, my arms hovered in a bent position at my sides in light shock before coming to a light rest on Cere. I didn't know quite why I did it but it just felt.. right.

She let go of me and it felt abrupt, she coughed lightly and stood back from me, stating that the knights would be here soon and that we should not try to anger elder Moon anymore than she currently was, I just looked at Cere and the out at the castle, my face was slightly warm and a bit of red could be seen though the tan I had from all the years by the water, "yes that would be best.." I said, slightly wanting the experience not have ended so suddenly.

Yule *Knight*

Yule pivoted her mount around, so that she was now parrallel with Jakill and his horse. They were facing the direction of the forest. Yule pulled out her map, glancing down at it then looking up to the landscape. She glanced at Jakill when he spoke. "I'm ready if you are. Though you seem a bit tense." She noted the uneasiness in his voice.

She folded the map in her hand, holding it with her left hand. She grasped her reins with her right hand, nodding her head straight forward to the woods. "We head straight into the woods there, which won't take too long if we go at a gallop. After that it gets a bit more difficult, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Yule took a deep breath, doing her best to control her anxieties that seemed to be creeping in quite quickly. She smiled briefly at Jakill. "We need to stay close, and try not to die, okay?" She said, nudging her horse into a gallop, riding towards the deep wood.

Jakill

Jakill's watched as Yule took out her map and examined it. Jakill remember that he haven't gotten his yet and grabbed it from one of the knights. Yule picked out a good path that should get them there fast and easy. Then she noted that they should stock together and try not to die.

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea," he said, watching Yule ride off into the forest. Jakill took a deep breathe in and forced his horse into a gallop. He and his horse caught up with Yule and the two of them continued their way into the forest. Trying not to hideand all that fun stuff.

Yule *Knight*

As Yule and Jakill rode on, they eventually neared the forest. Yule slowed her horse to a trot, eyeing the treeline carefully. She motioned for Jakill to slow his steed as she pulled her map out again. Glancing over the directions, her brow furrowed in concern. "The directions get really iffy at this point." She said, tracing a finger over the red line that was their guide. There were too many uncertainties once it reached the treeline; around four different possible routes, as the King wasn't told exactly where the clan was located.

Yule held the map over to Jakill. "We're supposed to try all of these routes until we come to the correct one, I suppose." She said, bringing her horse to a complete stop as they reached the edge of the forest. She peered into the trees, then back at the map. "I'm at a loss as to which one we should try first. Any opinions on the matter from you, Jakill?" She asked, raising her eyes from the map to her companion's face.

Jakill Jakill slowed his

Jakill

Jakill slowed his steed on Yule's orders and she pulled out her map. There were at least four different paths that could've fit the maps description. Yule looked over at him for his opinion. He looked down at the map and studied it. Then he looked back up at the trees. He bit his lip. "Well, if I was a witch, I wouldn't want to be discovered by a nearby village. So I would take the path that is the most dense." He said, pointing to a heavily brushed trail. Jakill knew that his explanation was pretty good, but he felt down deep inside that the reason he wanted to go down the path was because there was the most chance of seeing a magic beast down that trail. They weren't commonly found within the village but there were rumors that there were some in the village. Jakill knew that they were just rumors, but the witches were just rumors too. That gave the magical creatures a chance at existing.

Though the silence between them held strong, Cere could not help but fiddle with the tiny frozen flower in her hands before putting it in her hair, adjusting it to her liking. The forest was alive all around her, and the sound of birds grew silent as day came to an end. Night has her favorite time, as the creatures of the night came to play. But such sounds like horses were not one of them. Witches could not tame horses, for their magic tainted them, but humans did.

"Salastar, I think those knights the Elder was talking about are here, and I can see them," Cere said, her head facing the north, towards the dense part of the forest where two knights in silver armor were staring at a map. "Malphas, now would be a great time for your wings," Cere thought to her bird demon. Black wings tinted with blue and the sharp cry of a falcon sounded behind her as wings sprouted from her back. "Follow me," she called to Salastar, not looking behind as she launched herself towards the knights.

Cere landed only a short distance away, her shadow giving the illusion of an angel landing. The wings disappeared as her feet touched the ground. She did not know if Salastar was behind her, but if he was, it gave her a confident feeling knowing a powerful warlock was backing her up.

Giving the two knights a devilish grin, she bowed, whispering the words, "Scolopendra," into the ground. A purple portal appeared in the grass next to her, and a large, centipede like demon popped out of the ground, hissing at the knights. "Welcome to the Silver Witches. What business do you want with us?"

I looked the same direction that Cere was looking, smiling a little more when I saw that she ahd put the ice flower in her hair, when she said she saw the knights and sure enough a couple metal clad figures atop their steeds, horses were a curiosity for me for there was a few horse like water creatures who were a lot more violent than the creature they represented, Kelpies always came to mind and they were nasty water creatures.

I watched as blue tinted wings sprouted from Cere's back and a falcon's cry sounded, I didn't know how she did it but then there were many things I did not know about other forms of magic, there were even things I did not know about myself, like who or what my father was. My mother had been the previous water witch and had died when I was still rather young and apparently only Cueth knew who my father was and she refused to tell me until the time was right.

I shook my head out of my thoughts when Cere told me to follow her, I nodded and took off at my ground eating lope towards the knights, the water in the ground making it perfect for running. I once again skidded to a halt and watched as cere summoned one of her demons, this one was a rather nasty looking centipede creature. Walking up next to cere I began to speak after she did, "calm Cere, I don't believe a show of force is needed right now" I said with a calm and reasuring voice as I put my hands into the pockets of my leather coat and looked at the knights, the evening light glinted menacingly off my mismatched eyes as I looked over the knights, awaiting their response.

Jakill

As they continued looking down at their maps, they kept their horses at a nice steady walk through the forest. They were discussing things as Jakill heard footsteps in front of them.

Jakill rose his head and saw two people coming towards them at a steady rate. Jakill reached out his hand and lightly shook Yule. "Um... Yule."

He could see the two figures more clearly now. One was a red haired girl who had an ice flower in her hair and had blue wings on her back. The other was a boy.

Jakill slowed his horse until it came to a stop. The two approached them and stopped around ten feet away. The female girl summoned centipede demon that hissed at them.

"Welcome to the Silver Witches. What business do you want with us?" asked the female witch.

Jakill held his breath. For a second he didn't remember how to speak. Hopefully Yule could talk to them.

Yule nodded at Jakill's reccomendation. "Sounds like as good a plan as any." She looked intently at the map, but her concentration was broken by Jakill's touch, as he shook her lightly. "Yule."

Yule looked up, and her eyes widened. The two introduced themselves. The Silver Witches. Yule thought to herself. Though the witches were quite intimidating themselves, the shadow creature that the female had summoned was even more so.

Yule glanced at Jakill, suddenly glad to not be alone with these unknown beings, but her gladness in the fact wavered as she looked at his expression. He was at a loss for words; utterly tongue tied. That meant the introductions were on her.

Yule breathed deeply, straigtening her posture. "We, Yule and Jakill, Knight's from His Highness King James' kingdom, come in peace with hopes of gaining an alliance with you, the witch clan known as the Silver Witches." She put it out with a confident tone of voice, gripping her horse's reins tightly in her hands to refrain from shaking.

She stared at the demon creature. "We have no intentions of fighting you or your creature. But if we are left with no choice," she unsheathed her sword, holding it uniformally out by her side, "know that we have come prepared."

Cere smirked at the girl in armor, eyeing her sword with a glint in her eye. "I was just a girl lost in wonderland, as are you. Scolopendra is no display of power, though, if I decided to snap," she snapped her fingers once, and the centipede demon lunged proctectivly for her, but she snapped again and the demon fell into place behind her. "Things could get quite messy. I'm sure our Elder would not like that." Cere noticed the boy after that, though, she wondered why such a shy boy could become a knight if he was scared of two beings weak to steel. But, the witch doubted both of them didn't know that, and they surely didn't know.

"And you," she started, looking him up and down, "You stay handsome and quiet and I'm sure this will work out fine. Come now, Scolopendra will guild you to make sure you don't stray off the path."

The male knight was speachless and seemed to have held his breath, the female knight poke for them both, intoducing them as Yule and Jakill, saying that they came in peace and seeked an alience with us but then unsheathed her sword and spoke about the demon Cere had summoned and I shook my head, if they came in peace then they should not make a show of force I thought to myself.

I listened to what Cere said and watched her have the centipede lunged and then reatreated at her command. I had to chuckle lightly at her words to Jakill, "yes come... though I must warn you, the creatures in this forest don't take to kindly to humans and are not as controlable, or not at all, as the demon you see there, especially creatures of the water, so try not to wander" I warned "and in most cases those swords of yours won't be of much use so I would keep them put away if I was you" I turned towards Cere, to speak to her "I'll take the tail of our party, should be able to keep them in line and safe there, try not to scare them to much" I said to her, making the last part only audible to her, grinning a little before I walked towards the rear of the group and waited for departure

Jakill

Jakill listened to the female witch while she remarked him. He didn't know what to say, so he stuck with not saying anything at all and not to stray off the path. The female witch drew back her centipede monster, which went behind her. The warlock whispered something to the witch and went behind them. Jakill looked back at Yule and turned forwards again and put his horse into a trot. He hope that they weren't going to dump them into a pit or something. So far, the witches seemed very untrustworthy.

Yule kept quiet, listening to all she could hear from the witch and the warlock. She tensed as the male came up behind her, but kept her face cold as stone. As Jakill looked back at her, she sheathed her sword, giving him what she hoped was an encouraging smile before letting her expression fall neutral again.

She nudged the horse into a trot, staying close behind Jakill, trying to put as much distance as she could between herself and Salastar. She didn't know where they were going, and only hoped it didn't involve their untimely deaths.

Cere gazed fondly at Salastar as he made his way behind the Knights, her demon sticking to the sides as she commanded. "Come now, the camp is only a far walk away, though, don't stray off the path, something might grab you," she mentioned casually, as if she had led people to the camp before. Scolopendra clicked its jaws as it crawled alongside the path, darting off every few seconds and comming back, presumadly k.illing off any threats it saw was going to hurt its master. She hoped the horses the knights were riding were trained well enough to not be spooked at both her demon and the sounds of the forest around them. Most were.

I heard Cere's warning and smiled, it was a bit of a mystery if anything would try to take the knights.it seemed like the female knight in front of me kept close to the male knight in an attempt to keep some distance from me, I smiled again and picked up my pace so that I was only just out of striking distance.

((I hope you don't mind the time skip to arival Red))

At the pace we were going it took nearly two hours before we reached the camp and even then we were only on the edge. I walked around the knights and the horses and up next to Cere, "I don't know how the other witches will react to seeing knights so I think we should have our friends camp out here on the edge, what do you think?" I asked Cere in a voice that only she could here.

"I think that would be a great idea, I can post the Shadows to watch them, as precaution so I don't loose my power reserves," Cere replied, shuddering for a quick second as she remembered her first power outburst, the only time she lost her power to control demons. She quickly unsummoned Scolopendra before the memory overtook her.

I nodded when Cere said it was a great idea and said that she would post the shadows to watch over our new "friends". I placed a steadying hand one Cere's shoulder when I saw her shudder, I noticed her demon dissapear, "Cere, you gonna be ok?" I asked her in a semi worried voice.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Cere responded, removing Salastar's hand from her shoulder and clutching it with her left hand, leaving the right to fidget and have her magic swirl around it.

Cere said she was fine and took my hand off her shoulder but held onto it with her left hand, I lightly squeezed her hand. It was then that we had two knights behind us and the moment felt kind of akward. I turned to the knights, but did not let go of Cere's hand, "you two will camp out here on the edge of our camp, it would be the safest for you two" I said, I waited for them to react, hoping they did as we said and would not wander when we left them to their camp.

Jakill Okay so they were

Jakill

Okay so they were camping out in the middle of the forest, outside of the witch village. Unsupervised. That didn't sound safe. "Yeah, okay. Sounds good," he said to the witches. This was the first time he spoke to them.

He unmounted his horse and grabbed its reins. He led led it over to a tree and tied the reins around a branch. He looked back and waited for Yule and saw the two witches walking back to their village.

Yule

(North had internet problems so I copy pasted a text for the rp she sent me)

Yule, after a moment of confusion, realized she had been left behind. She pulled on her horse's reins, and quickly went into a trot, catching up to Jakill. She dismounted, walking over to the same tree he had tied his steed to. She worked on roping her reins around it as well, glancing over her shoulder at the witch camp they were left outside. "This is a bit awkward." Yule said to Jakill. "What do you suppose we do? It isn't really safe to sleep out in the forest. Seems we have no choice though." She sighed. "At least we have each other." Her face flushed as she replayed what she had said. "Er, I mean, you know... for safety and strategy and..." she shook her head. "Nevermind." She glanced at her hands, realizing they had been shaking. Whether it was from fear of the witches, or embarrassment of what she had just said, she didn't know. She tightened her grip on the reins to stop the trembling.

Jakill He looked over at

Jakill

He looked over at Yule. "Don't worry about," he said. "I guess I don't entirely want to sleep outside in the middle of the wilderness. But hey, what can we really do? At least nothing too terrible would probally attack us sense were this close to the village. But in guess it depends on how the witches treat them. But who really knows?" He ranted. "But, yeah. Two is better than one out here. But we better get some sleep. Sounds like we will get introduced to the village tomorrow. You know, try to gang their trust and all."

When Cere finally dropped Salastars hand, she moved away from the Knights and into the far side of their camp. Cupping her hands around her mouth, Cere let out a series of bird calls. Suddenly, three witches covered in black dropped from above like mist.

"You wanted us?" Spoke the first witch, the one they called Whinter, for her striking silver hair. Whinter was the leader of the Clan's shadows. Two witches born to one is rare, but three, even rarer. Whinter was the oldest out of her sisters, so therefore that made her leader.

"You know the Knights are here, yes?" Cere asked. Whinter thought for a moment, and clicked her tongue, her sisters were off in a flash.

"Already on it."

"Thanks Whinter," she replied before walking back to Salastar. She leaned in close, close enough so that the knights couldn't hear them, and it gave the appearance of two lovers who wanted to be close to each other, which was the illusion Cere wanted to pull off. "The Shadows have been set up. I'll stay close by too, I assume you'll stay with me to 'protect' me?" Cere commented, her chin coming to rest on his shoulder. She smiled, because she knew in her minds eye that the knights were watching the two. Whatever they thought of her, Cere did not know if she wanted to care, or if she didn't. Tomorrow would have a different answer.

I watched as the knights went off to one side and began to figure out things for the night. Cere dropped my hand and walked a little ways away and made some bird sounds, I knew she was calling on Whinter and her sisters to watch the knights and like their knicknames the three sisters vannished like shadows.

Cere returned to where I had been standing and leaned in close, "Yeah I'll be staying close to 'protect' you" I said with smile as Cere rested her chin on my shoulder, I could tell we were easy to see by the knights but I could care less, "though in my opinion I think you could easily protect from most anything" I said humorusly.

I gently reached up and plucked the little ice flower out of Cere's hair and held it in the palm of my right hand so that both her and I could see it easily. I then crushed it in my hand, small pieces of ice falling from the sides of my hand. Before I let Cere even be able to react to the destruction of the ice flower I slowly opened my hand and revealed an actual white lily that looked like its ice counterpart. I let out sigh, that little piece of magic was rather draining for me so I rarely did it but since I had no worries about the knights at the moment and it felt right.
