InTheTardis Productions Proudly Presents - The Travelling Rouge
h yes, the Armstrong. Before all of these short productions, you had heard his name but once; Mercury. But who is he? How much do we know about him?
The first, I cannot answer just yet. The second, however, I can tell you; Not much. Not much at all. First of all, from 'Mercury', we can see that he was at one of the Dragon Hunter meetings. We can also tell that he has met with the legend-worthy Bakunawa, the dragon who ate the moon. That's about it. Not much, I know. Although we do know that he attended Qu.E.R.Y meetings very often, strange that.
According to the dictionaries and handbooks of Estowick the Enthusiastic Selfovet (IV, but we'll get to that later) he added the name or word 'Armstrong' as, as I quote,: 'The controller of the controller. A person who manages the manager, the boss' boss. Almost like a mentor, don't trust them'. That gives us a little more information. So, he attended a meeting with the new Viggo Grimborne (Or the old one, it doesn't specify) where he commented on Nadrig's efforts to capture Mercury. Also, The Armstrong has attended most, if not all, Qu.E.R.Y. meetings. Strange. Coincidental? Doubt it.
He is also a well known follower and believer of The Carmigarlough. As I have told you before, The Carmigarlough is a dragon that no one believes in and is thought as a joke. It's kind of like saying that you can see a flying pig or have just seen the Loch Ness monster. Now, for such an orderly, well educated person, surely if he hadn't already seen the dragon, he wouldn't have believed it existed, right? I don't know.
And then of course we get on to why we are actually talking about him. The Armstrong's Wave of Terror. The Armstrong, during the time of Estowick was completely unknown around Berk and Afar but that's because he was dealing with far bigger things over the horizon. He had, to Estowick's obnoxiousness, taken over one of his main bases in the south and all that was within. He had raided hundreds of other places at around the same time. It was only after the demise of Afar's chieftain, that he had started doing real damage. After Est-y's death, all of Berk were focusing on their most recent attack and all of Afar were concentrating on the death of their teacher, chief, hero etcetera. He had taken over the Xzantium, an island very far North with the wisest of leaders. Here he took an Eruptodon to its peak and plummeted it to the ground. Moving from there, he headed back south to Louse. Louse was a tremendous island crammed with dragons and people alike. He captured every last dragon on that island and kidnapped at least half of the people. Next stop, six months later- The Shivering Shores. But perhaps not for the reason you think. Find out more in-
