Hello! I have been thinking of launching an RP-like probability-based forum game and I want to try out a pilot version :)

Coming from a land where dragons have been

hunted to near-extinction, I set out to find one

of these magnificent creatures I have only read

about.

After much wandering about and even witnessing

some from a distance, I met a trader who told

stories of islands much further north where

dragons flew free and riders rose on their backs

into the skies. I managed to convince him of my

genuine non-malicious interest and he agreed to

take me there.

This is how I arrived on Berk and, after a trial period, the island chief Hiccup allowed me to

join the Dragon Training Academy. There I raised my very own deadly  nadder, Ocean.

No automatic alt text available.

Since then I have built a base on Sunnystone Island,

a tiny volcanic island in the South of the Archipelago

and even formed my own clan -

  "The Sunwing Voyagers".

Now I travel far and wide, gathering knowledge,

trading a bit here and there and having adventures.

My dragons: my exploration team

(the dragons who regularly follow me in my exploits)

Ocean (Deadly Nadder, f) – my first dragon and travel companion.

I share a special bond with her, as I raised her from an egg and spent many a day

with only her for company. She is brave, loyal, curious and very intelligent,

often getting bored from inaction. Ocean is very comfortable around humans,

but sometimes dislikes sharing my attention with unfamiliar dragons.

She did, however, turn out to be surprisingly good with dragonlets.

She is a very steady and reliable flyer but does not much enjoy anything competitive.

Viridi (Changewing, f) – the first addition to my exploration team.

A trader whom I was helping out temporarily had a large and precious

gem on his ship. I tried to convince him time and time again that he had

been duped and the bazaar merchant sold him a dragon egg, but he

refused to believe me… until it hatched. I offered to take the dragonlet

off his hands for a good supply of changewing acid once it grew up, and

the trader was all too happy to get rid of the rather destructive and

constantly disappearing little creature. As I was the first thing it saw

when it hatched, the small changewing was eager to stay with me.

Viridi was my most challenging dragon because it’s very hard to train

something you can’t see half the time. Being a social creature, she accepted

Ocean and me as part of her family and joined us on our many adventures.

She is a quiet, careful, patient and observant dragon, who prefers to avoid

human habitations and is very helpful in the exploration of the wild.

Moonshine (Razorwhip, f) - Moonshine was picked up by Ocean, probably

from some shipwreck, as she was completely covered in seaweed. She was

still very tiny and Ocean brought her up, becoming a sort of mother figure to her.

Moonshine is a very happy and energetic dragon: she is in constant movement

and always wants to play. She lacks any concept of seriousness or caution, so it

can be quite difficult to have her around on journies, but definitely entertaining.

At first Ocean was the only one who could get Moonshine under control,

but after a lot of work, she started listening to me too (most of the time).

Panthera (Death Song, f) - I found Panthera as an adolescent dragon, wary and

underfed, on the outskirts of Melody Island. After some investigation, I found that

this was because her voice was a few tones lower that usual: the other Death Songs

drove her away, attacking her at any chance they got, and she could not hunt as her

song lacked the usual attractive power, forcing her to feed on any fish she was

able to catch in the ocean - something Deathsongs just aren't good at. This, however,

gave me an opportunity to train this magnifiscent dragon, since she had not aquired

the natural viciousness towards other dragons. Panthera responded very well

to being fed chicken and boar and had learned to get along with Ocean, Viridi and

Moonshine (though she largely just ignores them). She turned out to be very lazy,

always prefering to lay in the sun or in front of the campfire and has been very

helpful in building and guarding camp during my expeditions. She has a creative

streak and appears to enjoy singing along with me and seeing her amber made

  into various tools and trinkets.

A list of other dragons I know can be found here.

My clan: The Sunwing Voyagers

We are a clan of peaceful travellers, artists, scholars and traders. Our success is determined by skill and patience. Adventures await!

We fly to the edges of the archipelago and far beyond, expanding our horizons and exploring new lands. We are talented, creative and resourceful and we are ready to help any new friends we meet. The Sunwing Voyagers are a peaceful clan and we prefer to settle any conflicts with diplomacy rather than violence. We love dragons and we are always ready to learn new things, using our extensive knowledge of their ways to aid people and dragons to peacefully coexist and help each other.

This is a special clan where the skill within the game determines the success of its members. It is for those who have never taken the easy way of buying a membership or using gems to instantly get tens of dragons, all the most expensive armour and saddles, to do easy farming and fishing etc., etc. We take time to enjoy the progress of the game. (The rule on gems is flexible)

The game setting:

The game setting:

Once a year dragons migrate to the remote Walrustooth island to eat “sunfruit” – a fruit that packs so many vitamins that it will increase the dragons health, speed, energy and firepower for a whole year. The journey there, however, is long and hard, and dragons have to overcome many obstacles and stop at various islands on their way there. You are playing for the dragons and your goal is to get to Walrustooth island and I will set the challenges that you have to overcome.

For ease of understanding how the game works, I will give examples as I explain.

1. The game starts with everyone submitting dragons: for the purpose of this game they will be considered as intelligent animals, like a dog or dolphin, but will not be able use language, think “human-like” thoughts or have any kind of magical powers. I will need the species of your dragon, any characteristics affecting it’s fitness and a name (to identify it). I will judge of the dragons stats, abilities and intelligence from canon resources, favouring the wikia.

e.g. Starburst, deadly nadder, titanwing (means it will have titanwing stats) or Flamy, monstrous nightmare, has a limp (will be considered if succeeding in a challenge involves running.

2. I will set challenges and suggest a couple of generic ways of solving them, which you can choose. Each solution will have a probability of succeeding (2/12 to 11/12) and I will be using two 6-sided virtual dice to see whether the solution works.

e.g. “The dragons have to stop on a barren, flat, rocky island, where the only thing growing are bushes with odd-looking orange berries. The dragons need energy to fly on, but it’s impossible to say if the berries are poisonous or not. What will the dragons do?

a. Try the berries (there is a 4 out of 12 chance they will be poisonous)

b. Rest and then fly on without eating (there is an 8 out of 12 chance the dragon will run out of energy)

c. Your own solution (probability judged on individual basis)”

3. I will then roll the dice and see if the event described alongside the probability happens (the sum of the dice is less or equal to the number in the probability). If the solution works, the dragon will proceed, if not, it will leave the migration (don’t worry noting too bad will happen to your dragons, but something funny might).

e.g. say you choose a. and decide to try the berries

I roll and get 3&4 which sums up to 7, that is more than 4 so the berries are NOT poisonous for your dragon, you will get:

“Starburst tries the berries and finds them very tasty, he eats enough to gain strength for the next part of his journey (continues migration).”

Or, I roll 3&1, summing up to 4, that is equal to 4 so the berries DO turn out to be poisonous, you’ll get:

“Flamy eats the berries… and feels odd. He turns orange, burst out in purple spots and blows up to thrice his normal size. Poor Flamy will need a few days to recover and won’t be able to continue with the migration (out of the migration).”

4. You can also suggest your own solutions and I will decide what the probability of them succeeding is on an individual basis. I will take into account the breed of the dragon and any special characteristics you mentioned.

e.g. You choose c. Starburst decides to fish in the ocean near the island

Since I have not written anything that would suggest that fishing is impossible and there is nothing in the canon saying Nadders can’t fish/eat fish, this is a reasonable solution and I would give it a probability of succeeding of 9 out of 12 (it’s not higher because what if your dragon is just unlucky, what if there are no fish, etc…).

Or you choose c. Flamy decides to gnaw on a boulder.

Now, if Flamy was a boulder-class this would have worked, but since he is a m.nightmare, the probability of this succeeding will be 2 out of 12.

5. This brings us on to the next point: why is there still a chance of Flamy successfully eating a rock (i.e. probability isn’t 0)? Because in this game nothing is impossible! But also, nothing is certain. Thus, probabilities will never be lower than 2 out of 12 and will never reach 12 out of 12.

6. Important! Each dragon will have ONE chance at each challenge, so you can’t first try option a, then b, then c.

7. For the purpose of this game, as it is a trial, the actions of dragons will not affect each other, to not overcomplicate things. Also, do NOT make your dragons interact with each other.

e.g. if a different dragon has eaten a berry and not found it poisonous, the probability for your dragon is still the same, even if the other dragon was the same species.

8. If you get any questions during the game just ask :)

In this game version there will be 3 islands on the way to Walrustooth island (3 challenges). There will be no prizes for winning as I think playing the game should be fun in itself.

There will be 5 spots open (priorities will go to my clan-members as it’s about time I do another clan event). Game will be open for entries until Wednesday 5PM Greenwich time or until we have at least 3 players.

Each person will be allowed up to 2 dragons.

Dragon form:

Name:

Species:

Extra: special physical characteristics, NOT appearance/personality/background

Once the game begins I will set the first challenge and you will have two days to respond (I will post the exact time the response is due). Start with the dragons’ name, then the option chosen. Once all players have responded (or once the deadline for the response is reached), I will post the verdict for each dragon (if they are out or not) and give the next challenge. Those who fail to respond by the deadline will be automatically out.

Also, I might illustrate anything that I find particularly funny/epic.

Rules:

- Do not reply directly to any posts here

- Everything should be PG

- No violence

Wolf

 Art was done by Fireflash

Wolf is my in-game character. Her full name is 'Wolf and Star'. She takes on my own personality, which is quite similar to that of Lynx. During quests, Wolf loves to muck around and try to break the system by utilizing glitches- just for laughs, but she always produces reliable results. She is a fair Viking and she never uses glitches for her own personal gain. Some of my profile info will be listed below:.............

Characters:

Lynx

 Art was done by DuskDayBreak

Lynx is bold and loud. She is like Luna Lovegood in the sense that she is rather... odd. Loud, shameless and weird. She is more animal-like than human. Lynx enjoys being flashy, showing off her skills. Once she sets her mind to something, she is naturally good at it. The problem is that she loses focus easy and doesn't like setting herself to standards. She craves adventure and can grow bored easily. She is particularly fast on her feet but has low stamina levels. She is strong and tall for her age. Lynx is stubborn and laid-back most of the time. She does not like to follow orders. Some of her skills include: being double jointed, the ability to be able to climb almost any surface, very good at mimicking animal sounds and is EXTREMELY good at sneaking around. However, there is a side to Lynx that she does not show very often. She is very lazy and selfish at times, mainly because she lacks compassion towards humankind, caring more about dragons and animals more so than humans. This tendency causes her to be merciless in the face of battle.

..............................Lyra

.....................Art was done by Marg The Loony and Chameishida

Lyra is very sheltered and shy. She suppressed her emotion and looks down on those who do are emotional. Lyra can be rudely sarcastic at times and accidentally offend someone. Don't expect a public display of remorse. This does not mean she is feelingless though, she feels emotion, but, she is just very insecure about it. She does not like showing weakness or personal attachment, more insecurity, and less sociopathy. Though in fights, she doesn't appear to have a sense of honor and isn't afraid to fight dirty. Lyra is willing to do anything to ensure her well being, and the well being of her mother. Which could be a weakness. She values her self-preservation. She usually has her hood masking her pale delicate face, which sunburns easily and long hair.

Nyx

 Art was done by DuskDayBreak

One of Nyx's most defining traits is her brash and sarcastic attitude towards everything that breathes. She is the type of girl who does not have to do much to stand apart from the crowd. However, Nyx is no way an extrovert, the reason why she puts herself in social situations is purely one of two reasons, the first one being is that she wants to go people watching. Where she sits in some corner and watches people, how they react and their social cues. She just observes them, untangles their motives and finds their interests. The second reason is that she wants to show up the competition, along with being stubborn, Nyx is a show-off. The problem is, natural talent can only get you so far. Because of her years from people watching, she has become very keen on observations. Smarter than the average person, she is able to look at any given Viking and deduce a thing or two about them. Sort of like Sherlock Holmes but not nearly as skilled. With her great intelligence, comes social anxiety. Nyx buried this under layers of brashness but, this insecurity can be sorted out by the way she avoids social and emotional get-togethers. Due to her inability to express her social anxiety, Nyx finds herself at a lack of friends. She usually plays this off as her not wanting any friends but sometimes, when a dragon is your only friend, you can get lonely. The result, she makes a lot of enemies. Usually because of her showoff-ness and Brash attitude, and sarcasm. In reality, Nyx wants some friends, but she sees this as a weakness and as part of her insecurities which she buries deep inside of her and does not let anyone see. She's not edgy, she's just misguided.

Aeryn Nyght

 Art was done by Tosilohi

Aeryn also has a sense of show-off-ness, an over-the-top, dramatic character. She takes any given situation, brandishes it with a flare of sarcasm and performs, drawing attention to herself all the while managing to act edgy or sweet, or however she wanted to be perceived. This need of hers to put on a show made her invaluable to the man while she was on his side. Like the theatre kid she should be, Aeryn has expertly crafted this skill of taking on different personas, and she isn't afraid to add in some cliche drama to her dialogue and actions. Constantly referencing pop-culture, Aeryn is interesting, but the tiring person to be around. The problem with her extroverted, boldness is that few get to witness the actual Aeryn, not one of her many characters. In a sense, it is quite similar to the multifaceted personality disorder, only, Aeryn recognizes her many personas. She chooses not to show anyone her true colors due to some insecurities. These different personalities are the shields she has put up for emotional protection. With Aeryn, you never know if her reactions are genuine or just part of the show.

Gail Cyrek

 Art was done by Katarile

Gail is very softspoken. She does not like attracting much attention as people have a tendency to stare. She is very insecure about her face and does her best to conceal it. She gets very annoyed if someone asks about it. However, with this silence comes the ability to listen. She observes the world around her and is able to spot even the tiniest of details. This silent brilliance has made her a stellar judge of character. She reads body language very well and has a certain flare of stubbornness about her. Still, she is very dark. Generally, when she speaks, most people cannot hear what she says, which is probably a good thing because what she does say is usually pretty dark or gory. She often says random and slightly disturbing things and speaks extremely softly anyone can barely hear her. Gail seems to be pretty timid but is generally ruthless. She is a bit of a pyromaniac and will do almost anything to get her way.

Viking:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::..

Name: Mychael (pronounced Michael)

Nicknames/Title: WIP

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Residence: With Earthguard

PersonalityMichael is always thinking logically and doesn’t understand jokes. He is smart enough to understand them but always takes things literally. For example “Mercy then replied “Hey look Michael’s back!” Not understanding Michael asked “What! What’s on my back?”. Michael prefers to be alone and hates being the center of attention. He is always serious and doesn’t understand why Vikings socialize. Michael isn’t quick to trust people but once you gain his trust he will risk his life to save them. He is very intelligent and thinks outside the box. Not many people want to be his friend because he is so odd. Even though he likes to be alone that doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel sad about it. In fact often he is often depressed that he doesn’t have any friends. Michael is brave though his main weakness is that he has low self esteem. All Michael really needs is a friend he can trust. Michael loves to learn new things and to explore new places. He is more interested in dragons than spending time with Vikings. Michael hates to make speeches and presentations. He loves to teach others and dreams of teaching young Vikings the history of Berk. He is a know it all and often is bullied because of that. Michael keeps a journal of all the dragons he knows about and their stats and it is his most prized possession.

HistoryFor unknown reasons Mychael was forced to be a hunter at a young age. He hated hurting dragons but was beaten very badly when he tried freeing a couple. While there each hunter was given a dragon to control and Mychael was given Scuttles. They both were scared but found comfort in each other. Unlike the other hunters, Mychael was very skinny and smart. He was bullied and punched many of times and he knew he had to escape. Then all off a sudden one day he awoke on a shore with Scuttles, surrounding them were a group of vikings and dragons. They didn’t trust him at all at first and when his book on how to kill dragons fell Eslig threatened him with her bow. After a while they trusted him a little and brought him back to their camp (Present RP)

Likesdragons, heights, cold, flying, swimming, exploring, learning, teaching, being near people he trusts

Dislikes:  Making speeches, being the center of attention, crazy people, huge dragons, chains, blood, people or dragons hurt, dragon hunters

Do you want to reserve a color for your Viking? If Yes, what color? How about Dark Cyan

Dragon:.

Name: Albatross

Gender: Male

Species: Shockjaw

Age: Broadwing

Residence: With Mychael

PersonalityAlbatross is aggressive to anyone he doesn’t trust. Also he loves competition and hates to lose.  Hates taking orders from other dragons or Vikings. Albatross is easily annoyed and super protective. In fact if anyone lays a finger (or Talon) on someone he loves, Albatross will attack to kill. His past was rough and hates most humans. Being easily aggravated many people call him a monster though he is only doing what he was taught. He doesn’t understand how Dragons An day Vikings live in peace

HistoryThe day Albatross hatched he was born into captivity. His parents had been killed by hunters and he was a runt and very weak since he had no one to teach him how to fight. He was immediately sent to work in the Arena and was bullied by the bigger dragons. In the arena he was forced to battle against Vikings to train them. After only a few days Albatross learned he had to fend for himself and only worry about himself. As he grew older he became stronger and soon everyone feared him (other dragons in the arena I mean) On night he finally broke free and escaped. As he flew out many dragons roared for him to free them too but he didn’t for Albatross only cared for himself. Knowing the hunters were capturing and killing many dragons a day he set out to seek his revenge by attacking all the other villages not stopping until every Dragon feared him. Though one day when attacking Berk he was injured by their weapons and for years was stranded. Then one day a group of Vikings stumbled apron him and... (will be descided in the RP)

Likes: Flying, being alone, Rue, Mychael, being in charge, fighting

Dislikes: Young dragons, hyperness, having others help him, Drift, most dragons and Vikings, chains

Pet:.

(Without armor)

(With Armor)

Name: Scuttles

Gender: Male

Species: Terrible Terror

Age: Teen

Residence: With Mychael

Personality: Scuttles is very playful and has a ton of energy. Even with that said, Scuttles still can be calm when needed. He loves to explore new places and meet new dragons. He isn’t very found of people, except for Michael who this little dragon thinks of as his brother. Him and Michael share a close bond even though both of them lost their memories and don’t know why. Scuttles doesn’t have nightmares of his past like his “brother” but still knows his past was awful. He is easily scared but feels safe around larger dragons and Michael. Even though We is easily scared doesn’t mean he will back down on a fight, instead Scuttles loves to fight. Now what Scuttles calls Fighting is more like playing violently or in other words horse playing. He acts like an energetic wolf cub and is loyal like one too. Scuttles will protect those he cares for (even though he might not be able to help that much) even is it means risking his life.

HistoryScuttles doesn't remember his past, all he knows is one day he awoke on the shore with a human. Even though neither can remember anything they still feel a deep connection with each other.

Likes: Playing, having fun, being around Mychael, being around larger dragons

Dislikes: Storms, bossiness, obeying selfish people, being cold

Let the migration begin!

The days have become just the right length and the constellations are in the exactly right places in

the night sky: this means that far away, on Walrustooth island the sunfruit is almost ripe! Few

dragons know the way there and fewer yet are able to make the journey. Those who do, however,

will get a such a portion of vitamins and nutrients that it will boost their speed, energy, firepower

and general health for a whole year. They must hurry, because the sunfruit, once ripe, stays edible

for only a short window of time and then withers away. A few dragons from around the Barbaric

archipelago have set off on the annual migration.

Exhausted after flying for two days straight, they finally reach the first landmark on their journey,

Jaggedrock Island, a place where they can get some rest. There is however, one problem. As its’

name suggests, Jaggedrock island is a tiny outcropping of rocks in the middle of the ocean. In the

centre, the ground is a mess of relatively small rocky peaks and jagged boulders – suitable only for

bird perches with nowhere for something dragon-sized to lie down comfortably. The edges of the

island are flat rocky slabs, but they are slippery and washed over by especially big waves. What will

the dragons do?

  1. Try to find a relatively comfortable crack between the rocks to rest in (7 out of 12 chance to get enough rest to continue the journey; 9 out of 12 for the tiny Prickleboggle – due to smaller size)
  2. Rest on the flat rocks on the edges of the island (8 out of 12 chance of getting washed away into the ocean)
  3. Your own solution (probability judged on individual basis)

(You have until Friday 5pm Greenwich time to respond – I might post the next challenge earlier if everyone responds before then)

Pls don’t reply directly to this post.

Option c. Nightshade finds a rocky overhang and hooks all 3 of her tails around it for extra stability, then she hooks them so they don't slip while she sleeps and falls asleep upside down like Toothless.

Option c. Lucid, being a Dramillion lands on one of the perch-sized rocks in the middle of the island. She then spits up Gronckle lava onto the perch, lets it cool to form rock. She does this in layers building up the rock until it connects between perches and is the perfect size for her and sleeps on that.

Success or failure?

((Hi! sorry I'm late, new challenge will be on later today))

Thornbane, the wounded thornridge, chose to try and find a place between the jagged rocks (6/12 chance of getting enough rest – the wounds would made it harder to get rest).

Roll: 6+5 > 6

Thornbane spent the night tossing and turning in-between the hard pointy rocks. The dragon kept waking up from nightmares of still being in the clutches the Deathsong. In the morning, exhausted and in a very grumpy mood, the thornridge, turned back and flapped off in the direction of it’s own comfy island home. Thornbane has left the migration.

Paragon, the miniature prickleboggle, chose to try and find a place between the jagged rocks (9/12 chance of getting enough rest).

Roll: 4+2 < 9

Paragon, being quite tiny, managed to find a cosy crag to spend the night in. He woke up full of energy for the journey ahead.

Nightshade, the triple strike, finds a rocky overhang and hooks all 3 of her tails around it for extra stability, then she hooks them so they don't slip while she sleeps and falls asleep upside down like Toothless (9/12 chance of getting enough rest – there still might not be a rock of the right shape to hang from).

Roll: 4+3 <9

Nightshade had a comfortable sleep and is eager to go on.

Lucid, being a Dramillion, lands on one of the perch-sized rocks in the middle of the island. She then spits up Gronckle lava onto the perch, lets it cool to form rock. She does this in layers building up the rock until it connects between perches and is the perfect size for her and sleeps on that (11/12 chance of getting enough rest – I’m convinced).

Roll: 4+2 < 11

Lucid slept quite comfortably on her makeshift platform and is ready to continue her journey.

Shadow, the sandwraith, as a Tidal Class dragon, he dives down under the ocean to the shallowest area and buries himself under the sand (8/12 chance of getting enough rest – all sources say sandwraiths can burrow under sand, so they probably can hold their breath for a long time – but it doesn’t say anywhere that it can breathe / feel comfortable under water – it is likely, because it’s tidal class, but not certain. The sandwaith might have become too specialised for sandy / desert environments).

Roll: 2+4 < 8

Shadow emerged out of the sea quite refreshed and eager to be off.

The second challenge

After another long and strenuous flight, the dragons have reached their second resting place, the Isle of Swinging trees. It is a medium-sized island, covered with lush forest and riddled with streams, ponds and waterfalls. The dragons are very thirsty and must find a place to drink. The only problem is that many of the drinking places are infested with grimora, a tiny parasite that lodges itself in a dragons’ ears and makes it go savage (hint: you might want to research it – but beware, what you find will contain spoilers to a HTTYD episode). How will the dragons find a place to drink?

  1. Try one of the watering places (6 in 12 chance it is free of grimora)
  2. Drink seawater (11 in 12 chance it will make a dragon only more dehydrated)
  3. Your own option

A wild post appeared!!

Option C. Lucid heads up to the ocean water's edge and splashes in the salty water for a bit, although not drinking. She lets the salt water soak into her scales then quickly finds herself a very small pool of fresh water, stands back from it and begins breathing Firworm Queen fire at the water, (hottest fire in the dragon world) causing it to boil. The water will not taste very good but in theory, if she makes the water hot enough, the habitat will become unsuitable to any potential Gimoras and they will flee.

Option C. Nightshade grabs a large stick, claws some moss off of one of the nearby trees and uses the stick as an extension to dip the moss into the water pools, lets the moss soak then, without touching the moss, carries the stick and the moss over to the sea and lays down in the salty water, she is careful to not let her moss touch the sea water and begins drinking the freshwater from the moss, while submerged in the ocean.

(Is this allowed? If not I’ll change it)

Option C. Since Shadow is blind he has amazing hearing, he listens to the water and hears Hrimora. He imdiently leaves and finds a place where no grimors can be heard. He drinks some and finds it quite refreshing.

Paragon

((lol, thornbane does have constant nightmare! Make me feel a little bad having him putting through this, good for you thornbane, go home and get more rest))

As for the second challenge for Paragon, i choose option c: being a micro dragon she'd already be warried of large body of water, instead she'd drink from droplet on grass or small pool one would find left over From rain on the big leaf tree or in the footprint on the ground. Should have plenty of those in the place that lushy

Very late answer

Hello! I'm sorry for disappearing for a few weeks - a massive assignment was consuming all of my creative writing skills/mental energy/will to do anythign :P

But now I am back! And I want to complete this game with anyone who is still interested :)

Here are the results of the last challenge, you can go on with the game, but you don't have to, it's up to you.

Lucid, the dramillion, heads up to the ocean water's edge and splashes in the salty water for a bit, although not drinking. (11/12 chance of success - that should work)

Roll: 6 + 1 = 7 < 11

Result: Success! Lucid is ready to continue the migration.

Nightshade, the triple stryke, grabs a large stick, claws some moss off of one of the nearby trees and uses the stick as an extension to dip the moss into the water pools, lets the moss soak then, without touching the moss, carries the stick and the moss over to the sea and lays down in the salty water, she is careful to not let her moss touch the sea water and begins drinking the freshwater from the moss, while submerged in the ocean. (6/12 chance of success - hmmm, that would keep Nightshade safe from grimore, but it would take a looong time to get enough to drink and he might be late with continuing the migration)

Roll: 2 + 4 = 6

Result: Success! It takes a long time and Nightshade is just barely able to drink her fill by the time the other dragons are ready to move out, but she is no longer thirsty and ready to fly on.

Since Shadow, the sand wraith, is blind he has amazing hearing, he listens to the water and hears Hrimora. He imdiently leaves and finds a place where no grimors can be heard. He drinks some and finds it quite refreshing. (9/12 chance of success - it has been shown possible for a dragon to sense grimora - likely by hearing, but that was toothless and he has echo-location, i.e. probably incredible hearing/ability to hear very high-pitched sound. I'll trust your dragon has very good hearing, but probably still not as great as a nightfuries).

Roll: 1 + 5 = 6 < 9

Result: Success! Shadow has managed to avoid any grimora and is ready to go on.

Paragon, the tiny prickleboggle, being a micro dragon is already warried of large body of water, instead she drinks from droplet on grass or small pool one would find left over From rain on the big leaf tree or in the footprint on the ground. Should have plenty of those in the place that lushy. (7/12 chance of success - grimora live in fresh-water environments, however it doesn't say that they have to live in large bodies of water. I'd say there probably is a higer chance of finding a grimora in a larger watering place, but there will still probablh be some in even small pools/puddles.)

Roll: 5 + 3 = 8 > 7

Result: Fail :( Paragon stays away from any big bodies of water. Unfortunately one of the puddles she drank from happened to have a stray grimora. THe prickleboggle spend the next few days romping wildly around the island until she finally ends up in the sea andis freed from the grimoras influence. Dazed and having no idea where the other dragons went, she decides to head home.

I'll post the next and last challenge shortly after - there will be no time limit to respond (since I've been so bad at keeping to any time limits myself).
