I do enjoy sketching and painting things outside of the HTTYD realm. I'll post some old work here and also any new drawings/paintings that I may come up with whenever I have time. Enjoy!

-Frozt Wulf

Old graduation gift, fox... racing... you get the idea XD

This is all done with spray paint, newpaper, poster board and plastic bags! A friend taught me how to paint like this. It's really fast and easy once you get the hang of it.

Harold, the Western Wolf. Drawn at a Romano's Macaroni Grill. The entire table is covered with paper...I couldn't resist!

Snowboarding wolf made with...you guessed it! Chocolate syrup left over from ice cream. That's art you can eat! XD

Windsurfing, another hobby I'd like to learn!

Would love to go horseback riding...

Granted, this was a template that I colored in, but, I used flourescent hilghters and shone black light on it ^_^

Quick sketch for a CD cover...

A little about me:

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I try my best to live by the guidance found in the Bible and to share with others what I learned, because it's helped me and my family so much in life. You can learn more about us and find info, carrtoons, comic and videos on pretty much any topic on our official website, www.jw.org

I know ASL, and enjoy using it in music and with my deaf friends. I love acapella, Celtic, Pop, Karaoke, Owl City (pretty much everything but heavy metal and rap). On my YouTube channel IcewolfASL, I post signed version of popular songs that I like, I also sing some of them. I'v been posting recordings from SoD, with the tags, "Frozt Wulf" and or "Wulf Pack". I also plan to post videos of my fursuit progress.

I also enjoy drawing and painting art anything from real-life to landscapes, to cartoons and anthros/furries (only clean artwork, nothing suggestive at all). I'm learning how to digitally color. I'm currently in the process of making a partial fursuit of one of my characters, Icewolf, who is painted down below. So, in that light, I guess that would make me a furry. I loved 90s cartoons growing up, (Sonic the Hedgehog, Talespin, Bonkers, etc) loved Sing!, Zootopia and HTTYD 1 & 2, RTTE and I have been to the Live Arena Show back in January 2011. (Regretably I can't find my photos... >_<) Except these few:

Holographic nadder print from the Liva Arena Show.

Toothless! Plasma Blast! (fibre optic glows in for differeent colors; I will take it with me to see HTTYD3)

Sorry, bud...there's no fish in there!

Mirra, my Titan Razorwhip, as drawn by the rocker on campus, FireNightStar! We both really loved this drawing! TYSM!

Some art work examples:

Frozt Wulf with a local wolf named Humphrey (drawn by me)

Harold the Western Wolf (one of my anthro characters)

Seán na Lapaíoighir (Irish for John of the Ice Paws), aka Icewolf (my fursona) along with a good friend Tigra Relampaga (This is in acryllic)

For Kristal Winter one of the winners of a past quiz contest.

My Dragons: I have about 46 currently and will post pictures as I get them. Unfortunately, their backstories...were deleted, so, I'll be progressively adding them when I have time.

Kryos, my Wooly Howl, saved my life on Impossible Island. What a cool, loyal dragon! He's really skilled at racing too!

HOLY GOD. You gotta love that second one. Reckon you could teach me to paint like that? It's fine if you say no. And chocolate syrup art: genius!

You can see some of the basic techniques used...

On YouTube, search spray paint art and you can see a wide variety of ways you can make art like that. It all has to do with layering colors. I.e. If I want a mountain in the bg, I layers multiple colors, like purple, green, white, then black & while it's still wet, take a peice of newspaper, crinkcle it up, then fold into a triangle. Push down lightly witha rolling motion from left-to-right. The creases in the paper will lift off the wet paint, making crevasses in your mountain! For the moon, spray some white, maybe gray blue, then use the cap from the spray paint to cover it, so the it stays white. To make stars, spray some white on your finger, and flick it across your canvas! Waterfall uses torn posterboard dragged across and down on wet paint. Bushes and trees, use a wadded up plastic bag and two or three color of paint sprayed in a column going from light to dark, then dip your "brush/sponge" and dab on your bushes. For trees, use a putty/drywall taping knife as a spine for the wadded up plastic bag. Hope that helps! I don't have the money to always get spray paint (around $4.00/can), but the techniques can be applied to other media as well.

I always was the kid who drew on the back of his homework and tests...XD so, why not make something with my food once I'm done eating, right? ^_^

Thank you very much for your feedback, Lunar! Now I gtg get some rest, as it's now 2 am here

Oh my gosh, you are sooooooo talented! :D I wish I had even half the talent you do. All my drawings turn out looking like a 2 year old drew them. I'm not even kidding. I can't believe you did that second one with just those few, simple items. It's absolutley amazing. You could be an artist for a living. I can't wait to see more of your work.

Go raibh mhaith agat! Thank you!

I appreciate that, Powers! I enjoy it when I have the time and resources. I've made sketches, paintings, and other arts and crafts as graduations gifts, wedding presents for bros/sis, etc. It's a relaxing activity for sure. Oddly enough, my work deals with paint/arts and crafts, so that's probably why I like it so much! I only had 1 year of art in school, but loved it. I had made a simple comic book, but it got lost in a move...XP

Anyways, I'll post more as I have time. Busy few weeks ahead, with a 1-day this weekend and interpreting for a friend's wedding next week...

Cya around!

Your welcome. :D

By 1-day, you mean 1 day assembly? My congregation has a 1 day assembly on April 30. I always get so excited for the assemblies and conventions. :D

Also, a sidenote of exciting news to share: I found out today that I got approved for baptism. So I'll be getting baptized at the upcoming assembly. I'm so excited!!!!! :D

Congrats!

It's a decision you'll never regret^^. I'm so happy for you, Powers! Just have to keep everything in balance. Remember this acronym for keeping priorities: J.O.Y. (You can probably figure it out ^_^)

Totally enjoyed today, long trip, but was worth it. I find myself understanding more ASL each year. ALthough, having 2 interpreted talks was nice, but I needed to force my mind to stay focused on the bro interpreting :) TTYL!

Here's a few oldies but goodies from some years back...

This is painted with acryllic, based off of a basic design idea from HeroMachine 3.0, painted on poster board. (The lighting doesn't do it justice)

This hummingbird is done with oil pastels. This was my first time using them in art class. The reference was from a magazine photo.

These wallabies, are drawn in colored pencils. The idea from the teacher, was to divide the canvas randomly and only use three color in each section, with no two borders having the same color. Almost looks like broken/stained glass.

This wolf doesn't have a name yet. (Any ideas?) His head was made using a wood cutout as a stencil, then I added his body all in colored pencils.

This swift lion moves like the mountain wind, hence his name is Shan Xia Yu.

A drawing of two foxes. This was later used to make a carving for a stamp (I think that the right term, for when your carve out a learth-type material, then ink it, lay paper on top, then press the pattern under a roller. The drawing looks way better than the stamp XD)

This one was fun! The borders are lined with candle wax, then painted with watercolors. This keeps the paint in its respective areas. (This was one of three character in a comic book for art class...sadly that comic book disappeared after a few moves. :(

This assignment was simple...don't use normal colors. So I found this portrait of a woman and liked the hair and shapes of her hairpiece and earrings, so I think it turned out well.

Two women in Dakar, Senegal. Orignally, in the reference photo, they were at a market, but I was up until early morning just getting the shading to have enough variance on their clothing that I had to draw a simple background, which took me down a half grade, but still, not bad for the time I had to work with.

A painting using acryllics and thinning them own with a wet sponge brush. I tried applying the technique I was taught for spray painting to this. It's suppose to be a cold mountain lake.

One of my more recent paintings in acryllic on poster board. There are some metallics and glitter paints mixed in for the sea spray, sunrise, sand and lighthouse. My mom loves the ocean.

More to come later! ^^ Let me know what y'all think!

Keeping my mind on the future, while dealing with now...

So, this is meant to be kinda like a comic book style. Granted, it's very simple, but this was a quick sketch after reading some research material the other day that encouraged us to do this.

My sister has done something like this. She's drawn herself there, riding a horse. She says she wants a horse and is going to name it Journey because of the journey it took to get there.

It helps take your mind off of now and focus...

The real life is just around the corner. Everyday I keep thinking about that. Soon, it will be 5 years this Saturday since my grandma on my mom's side fell asleep. I was with her in the hospital reading an Awake! article to her. The 2014 and 2015 regional conventions were especially helpful with the videos focusing on life in the Paradise...I broke out into tears. Since then, each year gets a little easier as I look forward to welcoming both grandmas back as they wake up! That's a good name for her horse! My house would be in the mountains, I'd have a horse and a pet wolf (of course^^)!

It does help to focus and keep our priorites straight. Our situations are really similar. This year in May will have been 2 years since my grandma(my dad's mom) passed away and my other grandma(my mom's mom) passed away on March 24 of this year. That's been especially hard for me because out of all my grandparents, she was the one I was closest to. Thinking about the hope for the future has been really helpful to me.
